Do not use Design Perfect Catering. I paid $1169. Which included an $89 delivery fee and $89 tip. It was a 6 mile delivery. This was completely absurd. Their pictures show a nice spread and this was all I got. I paid $33 per head. The charcuterie board was $420. The Hummus plater was $195 and the dessert tray $165. I did order 50 assorted soft drinks and water which were $2 each. That seems reasonable. They should be ashamed of themselves. If anyone thinks I'm wrong please let me know. Outside of the drinks this was all that was delivered. There wasn't even a nice set up. read more

Design Perfect was hired to cater my mother funeral. We ordered the Italian buffet and OMG, everyone raved about it. I kept hearing, "did you try the meatballs, or the chicken marsala...etc" Everyone could not believe how delicious the food was! One person said "This is the best food I have had at a funeral" Not to mention how beautiful the linens, steno's and just set up was...again, A++++++++ God truly puts good people in our life at the right time and place! Wow, I seriously cannot say enough good things about this company! My little birthday party technically didn't meet their minimum head count but they took pity on me. Not only did they agree to cater my event, I gave them very short notice! They were super busy but squeezed me in on a Saturday slot, which I was very grateful for. Since I was doing such last minute planning and desperate to find anyone, I didn't really have any expectations of the service/food being a certain way. I was just happy if they showed up with something edible! To my utter shock and delight, they pulled out the red carpet for me! Not only did they set up everything SO professionally, they brought decor and center pieces to fit my theme! I was totally speechless when I saw the whole set up! They had asked me what my theme was beforehand and I said it was a gothic-spooky-mansion-murdery-mystery party. I was very vague about it and didn't expect anything other than them showing up with some platters! I was just shocked that they would treat my tiny 10-person house party like they would a wedding or a professional corporate catering event! They set everything up with draping, center pieces, heated chafers, etc! It just totally blew my mind! They honestly could have done a lot less for me and I would've been super grateful but they literally treated us like we were high-paying customers throwing a huge event. That level of service and dedication to their customers was mind-blowing! And the FOOD. I haven't even talked about the food! It was phenomenal! They had such a huge extensive menu and since we were booking last min, I just randomly picked without tasting anything. I had zero expectations going into it, since they said they could keep the food warm for up to three hours and we were going to eat about 2 hours in. I expected some kind of cafeteria food, thinking it can't possibly sit well for that long of a time. I WAS SO WRONG! Everything was AMAZING. All the guests commented on how delicious the food was and asked about the caters. Every dish was still very hot, fresh, and delicious 2 hours into being set out. The korean short ribs were magnificent - such rich, deep flavors! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender.  And don't get me started on the crab cakes! My only regret is not ordering more of them - they went so quickly and I didn't get a second one, which I was sad about. They suggested a cool blood-red beetroot mocktail to go with the theme. I was like yeah ok that sounds good without thinking much of it. It turned out to be a huge hit! Not only was it fantastic and gore-y for decor/theme purposes, it was super delicious too! We were all obsessed with it! I poured the leftovers into a pitcher so I could save it. Other things to mention: they showed up on time, and tear down / set up were seamless. The person who came was very friendly and polite. Also, I'm pretty sure they gave us way more food than we actually paid for because several of my guests were very happy to take to-go bags! In fact, they even left us to-go boxes - that's some next level service! Overall, I can't say enough good things about this company! Will def use them again for our party needs! read more

DP was recommended to me by a coworker when I was planning an event for my work. I am so glad that I reached out to them because they absolutely blew me away! I worked with Amber throughout the entire process and she made the whole event seamless. She was always available and quick to respond to questions and changes to the menu (there were many!). On the day of the event the crew that came did a fantastic job setting up. It looked so professional and included personal touches like flowers, a nice table cloth, and other decorative items. The presentation of the food was beautiful, and I really liked that each item had a description including allergen information. A very well thought out set-up. Last but not least, the food. It was SO GOOD! It was a huge hit with all the employees. We have quite a range of tastes and preferences, and everyone had something good to say. The hummus was the best I've ever had. I was referred to DP Catering by my boss and decided to use them for a happy hour event we were having at my job. Everything turned out amazing! I communicated via email with Sanja the entire time till the day of the event and she made everything come together so perfectly! We decided on their Circus/Carnival themed menu and decor and it passed my expectations! Sanja was great in setting everything up so nicely, was patient and super friendly! I'm so please I took a chance with this catering company to supply the food at my manager's Holiday party this past week. Sanja was my Event Planner and from the beginning her responsiveness and professional demenor where highly impressive. It was a small gathering of 20 people and I decided to order 9-10 items (I highly recommend the three spreads, grilled veggies, chicken skewers, rice paper wraps). Everything received rave reviews for the team! This catering company also supplied decorations for the buffet table (including lights and a center-piece) at no additional cost. We hired Design Perfect Catering for our 50th high school reunion and they did not disappoint! The set up crew arrived on time, Jacob started setting up and worked very efficiently, they had blue and white tablecloths and runners, our school colors. We had ordered a lot of food, about 12 different items, both meat, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc. and all were labeled with ingredients on the cards. Everyone raved about the food and every one of the food choices were delicious! We had beef, chicken, meatballs, prawns, Thai rolls, mushroom tartlets, sliced meats, cheeses, shrimp shooters, the list goes on and truly, they were all excellent. I just had Design Perfect Catering do my wife's 40th birthday party. They did a wonderful job. The server, got there on time and had it all set up by the time we got there. It wasn't just chafer dishes on a table, they had a centerpiece and table runner and things on risers. I really appreciate that. The food was absolutely delicious. I didn't even ask for drinks initially but on their proposal was water with lemons and sparkling strawberry mint lemonade, which was crazy good. Everyone raved about the lemonade. Design Perfect Catering catered an event for an organization I'm a part of on Saturday, December 17th. The food was EXCELLENT! There were about 120 people in attendance. They first walked around with appetizers, then there was a buffet dinner of both chicken, beef, salad and grilled vegetables (and a vegetarian option which only one person requested). We had a great experience with Design Perfect catering our backyard wedding of 30 people. We worked with both Sanja and Sharon throughout the process, and communication was always thorough and prompt. I appreciated their flexibility in keeping track of all the little changes and requests that we asked of them across our four months of planning, and the fact that with each change, they attached the updated order. It's not always straightforward to plan a destination wedding, and the fact that they were so accommodating of our circumstances was so helpful. They coordinated all of the necessary rentals for us - one less vendor to keep track of made a big difference. We also weren't able to do a tasting beforehand since we live in Florida, and we were thrilled with the quality of the food and the variety we were able to choose from. In typical bride fashion, I missed out on some of the food; I never got the bruschetta or bacon-wrapped tenderloins that we had as appetizers, but the fact that they vanished so quickly is a testament to how good they were! By all accounts, they were fantastic. The crudité platter (all that was left of the apps by the time someone fixed me a plate) was full of gorgeous fresh veggies, and the hummus was excellent. Every part of the dinner course turned out great as well. Both the salmon and the chicken were perfectly done - neither is very forgiving when served buffet-style, but they completely nailed it! Even a few hours later when I had some of the leftover chicken, it was still juicy and flavorful. They took the time to box everything up for us, which was handy for snacking and for sending home with guests who lived in town. We had their cupcakes for our dessert, as well. We chose a mix of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes (light and fluffy!) with a completely divine and tangy raspberry mousse frosting, each topped off with a fresh raspberry. The presentation was beautiful, and they were a total hit. The table and buffet set up looked lovely, just how I hoped it would, and their staff seamlessly coordinated setting up and moving the chairs between the ceremony location and the reception location. Design Perfect did the catering for our wedding a couple weeks ago. We were so impressed the second we walked into their office for our tasting, I was hoping the food was great! The food was amazing and Bandi was a huge help. We tweaked the menu a couple times via email and Bandi always responded in a very timely and professional manner. We got great reviews from all of our guests on how greaet the food was and how fun the bartenders were. We were allowed to bring all of our own beverages, and they did not charge a corkage fee which is pretty hard to come by. They also did not charge us a cake cutting fee which was great. There were a couple small hiccups but really nothing that we stressed out about - the bar was supposed to open at 5:30 for the guests before the ceremony, but my fiance had to go ask them to open it up after 5:30. Also we were supposed to have a small plate of appetizers and champagne in our waiting room following the ceremony, but the mother of the groom had to go request that. And then also they served myself and my husband champagne out of plastic glasses to start rather than champagne flutes. But none of that was a huge deal at all and really the only faults of the evening - and I also realize we were ahead of schedule during the ceremony so that probably accounted for the appetizers and champagne not already being there. I trusted Design Perfect Catering for an important board meeting after I was wowed by their sample lunch at an admin meeting. They showed up on time and ready to go to set up a nice breakfast and lunch display. The salad dressing was amazing. The eggs were so delicious! The vegetarian lasagna and the herb chicken - omg. Every caterer I've tried have always failed in making chicken tender, juicy and flavorful but I think DPC uses magic chickens from another planet - even after two hours the chicken was still wonderful. We had a summer style bbq, with grilled salmon, kolbi chicken, and steamed clams. We also had grilled veggies, salad, cornbread muffins, and strawberry shortcake. Our family and friends raved about how delicious the food was, and there was enough variety to make everyone happy. Everything on the whole menu tasted amazing, and it was still within our budget. It was served buffet style, and they made it look really elegant with flowers and by draping colored cloths that matched our wedding colors on the table.
