Ravishing Radish Catering has been used for some of the events I've attended as part of Woodland Park Zoo's Network for Nature member. The food and drinks are always the talk of the town, er, the event whenever Ravishing Radish Catering has catered. The variety of food is always solid, as there's enough for people to choose from, no matter their dietary restrictions. At one event, they served different flatbreads, fresh fruit, artisan cheeses, nuts, etc. It's finder food, which is easy to eat, especially when attending an event and walking around to mingle. Plus, the staff is constantly refilling plates, so there's never an empty one. I especially love too that for the events, they make a cocktail, themed to the event where proceeds go to the animal fund we're supporting at the event! Amazing. I would recommend Ravishing Radish Catering for your event, as they say, the food is what makes the party. The selection of fresh foods, themed cocktails, and friendly catering staff will make for a great event. read more

Ravishing Radish Catering - Signature cocktail for our event - Caterers Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I went to a tasting down in Seattle last night to see if we wanted to pursue Ravishing Radish as our Catering Vendor for our October Wedding up in Snohomish. When I walked in every host was friendly and greeted me warmly. The space they chose to host their tasting was large and spacious, minimally yet tastefully decorated. The staff were absolutely impressive. They were kind yet subtle. You barely noticed them shifting in and out to clear dishes or serve additional food. I was also impressed with just how organized and attention to detail they were. Barely any plates were left behind from the event even though people were randomly leaving them in awkward places. As far as the office staff is concerned they were just as exceptional. I was truly impressed with their work and they color coded our names to match who we had been corresponding with, which I just thought was beyond brilliant. I've had the pleasure to work with Annalee, and she took time to answer questions even in a room full of other guest. She really made me feel 1:1 with her. LETS TALK FOOD!!! I know that's what you're here for!!! As you saw from the photos the buffet was beautiful displayed and the style they chose was perfect for doing a double sided buffet to get everyone through quickly. The hors d'oeuvres- I reallllllly loved the apricot & prosciutto canapé! I wanted to eat (5) of them!!! They kept going quickly as well! Tad small in size, it's truly a bite size taste. As far as the salmon fouetté.... not my thing. It had a strong salmon flavor. I did however enjoy the corn cake! Now that I was truly impressed with! It was just as corn cake should be! The salad- Not over dresses, but this particular salad was a touch sweet. However that is the nature of the style salad and I absolutely it. The lemon Orzo- personally I was not a fan of this. The taste was fine and the pasta seemed to be cooked well. However I don't always care for lemon, which could just be my personal preference. The mediterranean Mezzé - very traditional. Presented absolutely beautifully. Everything was very yummy from what I got to try. The Local Seasonal Vegetable- delightful! For winter it can always be hard to get local vegetables and have a combo that works. But these were done very nicely. It was a combination of beets, carrots,& red peppers. All of which were cooked nicely. The carrots to me were crunchier then I was expecting, yet I enjoyed the contracts. The Mediterranean Inspired Chicken- this was intriguing to say the least. The first time I tried it I didn't know if I liked it or not. The chicken however was nicely done. When I went to try it again I did enjoy it, so maybe it was because I was trying so many different things? Again, the second time I tried it, the chicken was done very well. Not bad for buffet style! Seriously! It wasn't done well, not chewy or inedible. This was a big thing for me as I HATE buffet chicken usually due to how dry it can be. This was not that! The mashed potatoes- YUM YUM YUM!!!!!! I said if these arnt good then we can't go with them because I NEED mashed potatoes at my wedding..... damn they were good. They also went the fasted. I couldn't ever get a good shot of them! So in the spirt to showing you how good they are, the photo speaks for itself. Now For my biggest dish and the whole reason I went (plus the mash) The Braised Oregon Country Short Ribs in a Malbec reduction.......... Wow Wow WOW!!! This was so delicious. I'm drooling as I write this part. The meat was tender and falling apart. The sauce was reduced just right and there was enough but not to much. It covered a lot of the meat. This really set my decision in stone. It was very very good. I wanted a dish at my wedding that people wouldn't forget and I don't this they will forget this I'm the best way possible! I'm originally from Pennsylvania and we are a meat and potatoes type of wedding (with very dry chicken and way to many homemade cookies) When my guest come, I want them to be impressed with the food they flew 3,000 miles to eat. I think this will hit the mark!!! Excited to proceed with the process and hopefully make these Ravishing Radish our catering company! read more

What a great experience! We did pandemic style curbside pickup tasting menu and knew we'd found "the one!" Everyone we talked with during planning was great and super helpful, they worked with us to get the menu we wanted, and everything went perfectly on our big day! Didn't have my phone with me, so no pictures, but so good! Yummy short rib, salmon, chicken skewers, roasted vegetables.... We even had some people say they didn't know it was possible to hav egood wedding food until ours! yay! read more

it has taken me awhile to write this. Very disappointing experience. food does not present the way the photos on website look. small portions. as the mother of the bride, it was embarrassing. The charcuterie station was left empty and not as promised. when I asked about it the comment was we are putting a little out at a time.. Guests came up to an empty display!! I had 5 passed apps and was only offered one. The bride and groom didn't notice the small portion Because their meal was the one presented at tasting. Deliver what you promise..we spent a lot of money!!! read more

We had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Ravishing Radish. We really enjoyed our takeout tasting with them, but communication and organization was just a mess. Trying to coordinate with RR Catering was the most stressful part of our wedding planning, and I spoke several times to the owner Lisbet, expressing my concerns. It would sometimes take 2 weeks to get a response on a question. Invoices were incorrect, questions would not be answered, and we overall got the sense that they were just scattered and too busy to deal with us. I asked if they were just really busy right now, and she said no, they have barely had any weddings in 2020...so what's the excuse? Our wedding was 11/28/20, so it was off season. Why were we being treated as such a low priority? Also, trying to have them coordinate rentals was another pain point in getting everyone on the same page. We had a backyard Covid wedding with 11 people, and due to the changing regulations, RR was only able to drop off food, and we had to reheat them and plate them. I asked RR on 3 different occasions that I needed a container to heat and serve hot apple cider, and the night before when we checked the rentals, this detail got missed. I emailed Lisbet and she said she was sorry. In the end, the food tasted good, but it was SO NOT WORTH THE STRESS. I really wish we went with another catering company because I felt mislead that the reviews and the tasting gave off the impression that they were professional. Even our wedding coordinator commented that RR needed to get it together with communication throughout our engagement, especially when our wedding was less than a month away. read more

Phenomenal!!! Our food was so delicious, definitely pricy, but absolutely worth it! Annalee is who we worked directly with most, and she was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and was so patient with the millions of questions we had. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I are so glad we went with Ravishing Radish! One of our top priorities for our wedding was providing our guests with great food and drink. Our guests are still talking about how great our food was at the wedding even months later. The Ravishing Radish team was super easy to communicate with throughout the wedding process. We were planning our wedding remotely from Los Angeles and they actively worked with us to find a time we could fly up for our tasting. Special shout out to Taylor B. who helped us out a ton and answered our many questions! We had our wedding at a private residence where we had three different bar set ups. The Ravishing Radish team made every bar transition seamless as well as our dinner set up. They worked with our unique location and made it seem like this set up was always meant to be. They also made the perfect plates for my husband and I to eat in private after the ceremony. My husband is pretty particular when it comes to beer and they worked with him to make sure we had the best selection for our wedding. Ravishing Radish went above and beyond our already high expectations. I'm so thankful we chose them for our wedding! read more

We had a great experience working with Ravishing Radish! All of the planners- Jana and Vickie were helpful, organized, and professional. Signature cocktails during happy hour were enjoyed by all our guests and we all loved the appetizers and family style dinner. I would love to be able to give this amazing team more than 5 stars! As a local Wedding Planning company, we work with so many different catering companies, and Ravishing Radish is a fave hands down!!! Not only is everyone here super friendly, professional, sweet and fun, but their food AND level of service is unmatched. I know that our clients, AND all of their guests will be well taken care of from start to finish! I have seen first hand in so many instances, how they go above and beyond their own tasks on the wedding day to help others out, solve any problems, etc. From a logistically challenged, wedding literally in the middle of the woods, to a ballroom wedding, they can do it ALL and without any hiccups (that anyone knows about!). We LOVE working with Ravishing Radish and couldn't recommend them enough! They will take the BEST care of their clients down to the last detail. read more

If I could give Ravishing Radish more than 5 stars, I would. Our first experience with RR was as a wedding guest right after we got engaged. As soon as we tasted the food, I grabbed one of the waiters (sorry, dude) to ask him where he worked, and we booked them the very next weekend. Right from the beginning, they were sooo easy to work with. They were patient with my type A personality and worked around all our dietary needs, even whipping up dino chicken nuggets for all the little ones at our wedding. We worked with Jesse, who was amazing and took all of the stress out of planning. I'm going to be honest, I don't even know what happened on half of my wedding day because Jesse and her team were so on top of everything that I was able to totally check out and focus on having a great time. Since the wedding, everyone I talked to mentions the great food (from what I hear, one table actually licked their plates). I will be recommending RR to all my friends. read more

RR catered our wedding and we can't be happier with how the entire experience went. We worked with Lindsay in the months before the event, she was super easy to communicate with and handled our last minute changes with grace. The day of the event RR showed up and quickly got to work putting the food together. We were amazed at how great the food smelled before the ceremony even started! We decided on a variety of small plates and apps and everything was great. Rave reviews for the meat skewers and mushroom risotto cakes among all the great food. RR also provided our bar staff. We had the standard beer and wine but also bought bourbon and the all the fixings to make an old fashioned. The bar staff did a great job keeping up with our thirsty crowd! We can't be happier with RR and would recommend to our friends and family! read more

Guests still talk about how good the food at my wedding was. As with most brides, my only complaint is that I didn't get enough of it. There was one hors d'oeuvre I didn't even get to try. Lame. I had a pleasant go communicating with Vickie and Lisbet the whole time - on menu, on venue (we didn't use theirs), on staff, etc. I was only less than pleased about the extensive list of what her staff would NOT do at the venue. These are things they presumably do at their own venue. Things for which the staff is still paid the same per hour rate and 18% automatic gratuity, I believe. So, my friends and brother brought in the chairs, set up and broke down the dance floor AND the tables AND the chairs. What? Really? No hand on the chairs, maybe? But thank goodness the best man was there early to set up because it was he who witnessed the dumb server set the crate of glasses down and then let the door smack and shatter every one. These would be the glasses that I was charged for. Uh. What? Vickie finally relented after some back and forth that RR would pick up the cost. Back and forth? No. Our bad because that's what happened, more like it. So the food was wonderful, the owners are lovely, but perhaps the staff and their job descriptions off-site need a looking-at. read more

I just used Ravishing Radish to cater and host my wedding at their Tyee Yacht Club venue. As soon as I walked into the venue I knew it was the one. We had about 80 guests and the size was perfect. They did an amazing job setting everything up and it looked more beautiful than I had anticipated. Their food of course is amazing! Everyone is still raving about how good it was, especially the mashed potato bar. They were so easy to work with as well. I worked with Kalila and she was so patient even when I was sending multiple emails a day and probably asking the same question more than once. She always responded right away and was just SO nice :) I was not the most organized bride, but they made everything so easy for me and pulled everything off perfectly. All my guests thought everything was wonderful. I could NOT be happier with them. read more

I have never been to a wedding and left saying, "Wow, that food was amazing." Never. So I wanted to be sure that people left my wedding feeling that way. Instead of doing a sit-down plated dinner, we opted to do food stations. This way people could mingle and choose what they wanted to eat. I, sadly, didn't get to enjoy the food that night, but I am still hearing about how great the food was. People RAVED about it. They also were able to take recipes I had found on Pinterest (baked brie pops) and make them for our wedding. I opted out of doing a cake, and wanted a decorate-your-own-cupcake station. They saw my vision and made it! Everyone loved it. We had a last minute request to have an ice luge for pouring alcohol shots, and they were able to staff the luge last minute. Hilary was amazing to work with. Hands down, one of the more organized vendors we worked with. I communicated often via email and she responded so quickly to any of my questions or requests. Super friendly as well! I would recommend Ravishing Radish to anyone planning a wedding. read more

We loved Ravishing Radish! They catered our wedding in September. I can't say enough good things about Annalee, she was so wonderful and accommodating. We had some last minute guest additions with dietary restrictions (sigh. thanks fam.), and Annalee worked with the chef to make last minute adjustments--which she did not need to do. She was responsive, professional, and thought of every little detail that we failed to think of. Our guests really loved all the food the day of the wedding. The braised beef short ribs were tender, a true feat when serving 150 people. The mac and cheese was also delicious, and our vegetarian and gluten free friends really enjoyed their meal too. I think everyone raved the most about the appetizers. We did the grilled cheese shooters and the button mushrooms. Guests still talk about those! I really appreciated that they brought some appetizers up to my husband and I while we were signing our marriage certificate with some champagne. It can be tough to find a second to eat during a wedding as the bride and groom, and it was so sweet that they took care of us. They also did bar services for us. They allowed us to provide our own alcohol--big cost saver for us--and we used their bar tenders. The bar tenders were wonderful! So friendly and very fast. They quickly learned to make my husband and I's signature drinks, which everyone loved. Seriously five stars! read more

I was involved in a wedding this weekend where RR was the caterer. The wedding was in Chehalis (at Red Barn Studios, also fantastic) and these guys travelled all the way down from Seattle. I saw them set up a little kitchen outside, which was super cool. Lindsey was the person I talked with the most and was delightful to work out details with (I made the cake, and was helping divert questions from the bride). All of the staff was super friendly, always had a smile on their face, and even at the end of the night (12 hours into their day!) the folks behind the bar were bopping along to the music and super cheerful and friendly. And of course the food was awesome. This is the third or fourth wedding I've been to in the last couple of years that they catered and everything is always fantastic. Major kudos to these guys. read more

Over the past several years Ravishing Radish has been deepening its commitment to artisanal, organic, and sustainable foods, making their events just so darn easy for everyone to enjoy. Ravishing Radish did an incredible job of catering our wedding - we were blown away by the entire experience of working with them. I can not speak highly enough about their service, culinary creativity, and of course the truly delicious food. As a plant-based couple, we wanted a fully vegan wedding menu but that since most of our guests wouldn't be vegan, we needed something that everyone would be happy to eat. We also have a number of favorite menu items from our own home cooking that we really wanted to have represented somehow in the menu. Oh, and throw in we had one severe peanut allergy and one gluten free guest in the group. So with all that - we knew we had to find a really special caterer who could work with us for our special day. Ravishing Radish not only rose to the challenge but vastly exceed our expectations. They did a stunning family style plant-based menu that had all the guests exclaiming they couldn't believe there was no dairy or meat; and they even worked to incorporate one of my personal recipes into the meal. The appetizers were delicious too - plant-based or not, when (not if!) you work with Ravishing Radish you have to try the edamame wasabi wonton bites - wow! The team also worked with us to create two delicious cocktails including one non-alcoholic one using our favorite ingredients. What really set Ravishing Radish apart was the quality of the food, the lovely service, and the little details - they hunted down specialty items we had mentioned in passing (like a particular brand of plant-based milk, and our favorite brand of non-alcoholic spirit). I could not recommend Ravishing Radish more highly! read more

One of our top priorities for our wedding was delicious food. We wanted a stand out cocktail hour and a family style dinner and Ravishing Radish knocked it out of the park. All of our guests kept coming up to us to tell us how amazing the food was throughout the whole night. A few of our favorite items: grilled cheese & tomato soup shooters, fried chicken & waffle canape, potstickers and the short ribs entree. I should also mention my husband and I were tough customers - we were planning from out of town, we were extremely particular with the menu, the flow of the entire night and especially the open bar - not to mention I'm originally from the East Coast, a bit of a control freak and I email at a mile a minutee...Annalee from Radish kept up with me and DELIVERED! Thank you Annalee for dealing with us & executing perfectly. We even worked with the owner, Lisbet, on a few pieces and she was excellent. Both ladies were on site and while I was nervous about the night going into it, I ended up not having to think about a single thing that day - Radish had it ALL covered. Excellent food & excellent service. Thank you Annalee, Lisbet & the whole Ravishing Radish team! read more

I was THIS close on booking the Tyee Yacht Club for my wedding venue just to have Ravishing Radish's delicious catered foods. We ended up finding a different venue that fitted more to what we were looking for. Too bad they don't allow outside catering because we would've definitely booked RR! We went to Ravishing Radish's tasting event last month and was really impressed by the friendly staff and their mini buffet spread. Their chef did a wonderful job on everything. From their flank steak to their mashed potato bar with all kinds of toppings. Yummy! I would highly recommend trying them out because their food is amazing. :) read more

I was able to try their catering for a friend's wedding--it was really good! We had the below: Salad: Nice and light Salmon: Out of everything, this was what I liked least. Maybe it had too American of a flavor? It was a bit dry. Beef: This was outstanding, so tasty, moist, and delicious! Carrots: Perfectly paired Bread pudding: I'm not supposed to eat gluten buuut I love bread pudding and even moreso when it's savory. I think it had onion chunks in it but it just added to the texture and did not overpower the flavor of the bread. How did they do that!?? I loved this even more than the dessert "Nothing Bundt Cakes" and I am a HUGE NBC fan! I would def recommend this venue for wedding catering or any other event! read more

I got married in June 2016 and my husband and I went with Ravishing Radish for our catering needs. Similar to the other reviews, Vickie was the initial contact, and once we signed with them, Hilary took over and was the catering coordinator. We had one meeting prior to the wedding to discuss details and preferences. When we had a question or a revision to our menu, Hilary was very prompt in her response time. Day of the wedding, the staff was very professional, and the food was EXCELLENT!!! We got so many compliments on the tastiness of the food. Our menu included braised oregon country short ribs, garlic shrimp, salad, grilled veggies, roasted garlic potatoes and bakery bread. It was around $30/per person (buffet style), but the real cost was the staffing (it cost way more than the food itself) - but I wouldn't change it since they made setup and teardown so easy and stress free. We had 150 guests, and I think they require a waiter for every 20-25 people. However, there IS one reason I would only give them 4 stars... they were 30 minutes behind schedule! Yikes! All the guests were seated and chatting away and I asked what was going on with the food, so one of the waiters went to the kitchen, came back out and said it would be around 30 minutes before they could bring everything out. He did apologize for the delay though. Fortunately for us, we didn't have a reception program printed for the guests and it was just too much of a joyous day that being a little late would remove a star from their review. However, I would guess that some brides are very adamant about timeliness, which I am too but in this case since everyone was raving about the food then it made up for being late. The food is of high quality, the staff is very friendly, and everyone's tummies were very satisfied. read more

I hired Ravishing Radish to cater my wedding this past August at Thornewood Castle. I have severe Celiac Disease (no gluten), as well as allergies to dairy, eggs, corn, soy, seasame, quinoa, and coffee, so I was having a really hard time finding a caterer who could make delicious food that I could eat, and that my guests would enjoy. Ravishing Radish did a spectacular job of creating tray passed hors d'oeuvres and an amazing dinner spread that was all GF, dairy free, egg free, and all my allergies free. We had pork skewers, balsamic vinegar fruit skewers, a walnut and stone fruit salad, fingerling potatoes, wild rice, grilled carrots, asparagus and green beans, delicious herbed chicken with tomatoes atop, and salmon with candied onions on top. All amazing and many guests came up to me to say how the food was wonderful. We had two bars, a champagne toast, and a number of waiters helping out. The day of the wedding went smoothly and I know this staff and the kitchen did a wonderful job making and serving the food, as well as setting everything up and tearing down exactly to my specifications and this is why they get five stars from me. One word of caution, their packages and rentals can be high priced ($45 to rent a high chair...), and occasionally the woman I worked with over email didn't fully respond to my questions or was quite delayed in answering my emails. In the end all went well! I would use them again in a heartbeat, I was beyond pleased with the quality of the food and that they had worked with all of my allergies to create an amazing spread. *photos by Gina Paulson read more

Their linens were beautiful and service ware was beautiful as well. Their team was very prompt with delivery and set up as we were working with an 8 hour time frame. The serving staff present for the actual event was efficient, professional well managed and very easy to work with. There were plenty of servers to keep the event moving. Wow! I just don't know where to begin. I'm not sure I can think of enough adjectives to describe these girls. They catered our wedding and we also had the ceremony and reception at The Yacht Club. First the food...there is truly nothing better! We were sold immediately with the mashed potato bar! But the menu for our wedding was TO DIE FOR!!! We are still hearing about it from our guests. They are inventive, creative, and oh so talented! As for Heather, who was our coordinator....LOVE her! She is bubbly, smart, creative, and seems to love what she does. She was easily accessible and helped us out with things we were clueless about. I know I was driving her crazy near the end but she was nothing but lovely. And even though she was totally swamped the night of our wedding, she managed to pop in to give us a hug. As for Celeste, who was in charge during the whole shin-dig, she was organized, sweet, responsive...a total doll! The Yacht Club was gorgeous, although a little hot that night. But we didn't care. Google used Ravishing Radish at their Seattle/Kirkland holiday party, held at the Seattle Science Center. The food was fantastic. I would have preferred some cold items like fruits, veggies, or cheese, but I supposed that stuff is considered less classy or ritzy or something. The items Google picked were all hot foods, like flank steak slices, sliders, mashed potatoes, polenta, etc. Oh yes, I guess there was also salad and ceviche, among other "cold" food things. Everything was delicious, especially the meatloaf sliders and steak. The only weird thing is that my tofu skewer had something hard in it. I.e. As I bit into it, my tooth came down on a bone-like thing. Not sure what that was. I'll let that slide, though, considering how good everything else was. read more

My now husband, and I, could never have imagined a better catering company to cater our wedding. We were an out-of-town couple, planning a Seattle wedding from Denver. My parents went to a venue open house and met Annalee and immediately knew we wanted to work with her. Not only were the food samplings amazing, but the customer service was above and beyond and continued to be throughout the entire process. Annalee and her team helped us to design the ideal menu, including gluten free and vegetarian meals for certain guests. I can't tell you the number of guests who told us our food was the best food they had ever had at a wedding (the short ribs were a HUGE hit!). Prior to the ceremony, I asked a few members of the Ravishing Radish staff if they had a mint or piece of gum with them. Unfortunately, they did not, so I went upstairs in our venue to get ready for the big walk down the aisle. Less than 5 minutes later, a member of the Ravishing Radish team served me (and my husband...just in case!) a mint on a platter. I was so appreciative and couldn't believe someone had gone to find me a mint...and delivered it on a silver platter! Throughout the entire evening, the staff kept everything running smoothly. From the food service, to help with passed champagne I requested, to the clean up, and general kindness to all guests...I would say they are truly the best option when it comes to Seattle catering. My parents have hired many caterers in the Seattle area for their business - and they agreed...Ravishing Radish is top notch. If you're lucky enough to work with Annalee, you will be completely at ease as she is very knowledgeable about all things wedding related and she is able to walk you through every detail of the day. Thank you to the entire Ravishing Radish team for making our wedding the most amazing day of our lives! We so appreciate all the hard work you put into making our day so perfect. read more

Best wedding food I've EVER tasted. We hired Ravishing Radish to cater our July wedding at DeLille Cellars. Vickie was our initial contact at RR and Hilary took over as our catering coordinator. They were both consistently outstanding to work with: responsive, friendly, flexible... all around lovely. As a bride I was often nervous about little things here and there, but RR was never part of those nerves: if anything, I felt comforted knowing that they were going to be part of the whole production! I'm still hearing talk about how our wedding food was the best anyone has ever had. I'm biased, but I wholeheartedly agree. There was plenty of food for everyone, and it was consistently the perfect temperature for all of our 170 guests (which is a feat!). They were very catering to dietary restrictions and I was able to share the information with guests with allergies ahead of time so they could be prepared for dinner. I also really appreciated that Hilary worked with a gluten free bakery, NuFlours, to source GF breads. Thank you for a spectacular event!!! read more

Ravishing Radish (RR) catered our September wedding and while we were excited to work with them they didn't knock it out of the park for us. Good food and service is important to us which is why we were willing to commit a significant portion of our wedding budget to them. However, for the price we paid we had a very mixed experience. Here are some of the things we experienced: Bar Service: Our wedding was at a venue that allowed us to provide our own alcohol so we contracted RR for the bar tending service. We made it very clear that we did not want alcohol served pre-ceremony. We had a very short ceremony planned and had built in plenty of time for cocktail hour. We didn't want to run out of alcohol, over-serve our guests, or have guests have glasses during the ceremony. Nonetheless, RR served our guests while we were waiting in the loft area of our venue. We got upset for a second but we just rolled with it as you do. As the reception got going we began getting a lot of feedback from our guests that one of the bartenders was behaving erratically and unprofessionally. Some examples: she did not know what the signature cocktails were or the recipes (and told the guests that); she could not identify the beer being served and one guest asked for a specific beer repeatedly and never received it; she offered guests alcohol that was not stocked in the bar (whiskey for example); on at least one occasion gave a guest a warm display beer; she mixed two different types of red wine into a guest's glass; and on at least one occasion poured someone a glass of vodka instead of white wine (?!). Please note, we had a pretty simple bar menu: two signature cocktails, variety pack of Kona beer and wine (red, white, rose). We found these stories both amusing but also upsetting given the amount of money we were spending on catering, bar tending, and the alcohol we stocked! Eventually she was sent home by the catering manager but not until well into the evening. The other bartender was amazing-our guests raved about him and he definitely picked up her slack. I ended up thinking about this a lot, annoyed that so many of our guests had a negative experience at our wedding and didn't want other couples to experience the same and reached out to RR to share our experience. They ended up refunding the amount we paid for her to work, offered us some free catered appetizers in the future, and letting us know that that bartender would not be used again (thank god). This was the right thing to do but I was a little disappointed they did not reach out first to apologize as it was flagged as an issue by the catering manager for our wedding day. Coordination/Design: Our coordinator Annalee seemed a bit distracted and was not the most responsive to us. At the time I chalked this up to the busy wedding season but it did manifest into our actual wedding day in one tangible way: grey napkins were ordered instead of white napkins and they were not arranged the way we had asked. It ended up being grey napkins on grey table clothes which looked okay but wasn't what we had planned (luckily it was the same shade of grey). By the time we realized it was too late, the room had been flipped and guests would be seated shortly. It may seem like a small complaint but it did differ from what we had envisioned for the tablescape and what we agreed to with Annalee at our initial meeting and what she confirmed in email and at our final walk-through meeting. Food: Overall, the food turned our pretty well especially compared to the bartender situation but I do have some feedback. We had a buffet dinner and RR does a really good job making it look pretty and creating different levels to interest the eye. However, they don't use the big chafing dishes like other caterers so food can end up being cold and dry. This is what many of our guests experienced with the salmon served. I bet this could be remedied by asking for food to be served in large chafing dishes. We didn't ask because we assumed they would do their best to serve our food warm... Additionally, the salad was not properly tossed so all of the goodies were on the bottom (pear, cheese, walnuts). A final suggestion for Annalee and RR would be to provide some hospitality for couples when they come to meet RR HQ for the coordination meeting (we weren't even offered water). We weren't given a traditional tasting meeting so we kind of expected them to do something small to thank us for our business and host us to make us feel special like a glass of champagne or something along those lines. We didn't leave that meeting feeling the love from RR. With all it being said and done, my husband and I had an amazing wedding day! The problems we encountered did not ruin the day and we even have some funny stories about the bartender. Maybe everything we experienced was a fluke but if we had to do it again we would not use RR nor would I recommend it to my friends getting married. read more

We chose Ravishing Radish as the caterer for our wedding because their food was delicious and their displays were beautiful. At first we were assigned to Heather, but I had a really hard time getting her to communicate with me. After a lot of frustration we started working with Lisbet, the owner, and the experience was so much better!! Lisbet came to my work to do a planning meeting!! She was very responsive and made me feel much more relaxed. The day of the wedding I didn't have to worry at all about set up. Ravishing Radish's staff jumped right in and made sure everything was done, set up, and looked fabulous! I never had to ask them to do anything, they just did it and did it well! I had purchased flowers to decorate the cake stand and just left them at the venue. Ravishing Radish took it upon themselves to decorate it and it looked amazing! The food was wonderful and we got a ton of compliments. We supplied our own booze and mixers and the bartender was able to work with everything we provided. All of our guests raved about our bartender and how great he was! Be warned that you won't get a private tasting of your exact menu, and there really is no way of bringing your bill down by eliminating things (bringing your own booze, cutting down on dishes). However, their food and service is beyond worth the price you'll pay. If you want a stress free wedding day where everything gets done beautifully without you or your family having to do anything hire Ravishing Radish!!! read more

Ravishing Radish catered an event for me for a professional organization event at the MOHAI and it went so smoothly and all of the attendees were really happy with the food. I got a lot of compliments about how it was "not the normal rubber chicken" event. Everything was beautiful and the staff was professional, highly recommended. read more

We had our wedding reception at their venue (Tyee Yacht Club) the food was unbelievable, all staff was very helpful and friendly, everything was beautiful and I love that they were very flexible and professional with all our request, (like staying until 2 am, and bringing our own alcohol). I highly recommend them as a catering and as a venue, our night was really magical. read more
