We visited for lunch on Friday, with a party of four, and it was a nice experience. We arrived and were seated right away, the place was about 3/4 full. The waiter came by and took drink orders. Their margaritas are strong and they have a nice selection of draft beers. We started with Salt & Vinegar Drumsticks and Pretzels as appetizers, they were excellent. We then went with the Pub Dip, and 2 Fish & Chips. Both were well prepared and steaming hot. The service was good, although the waiter disappeared for a bit when we were looking for the check. Was missing the old continent a little, figured I'd give the place a try. Been living in Redmond for many years now but never came here before today. Decent selection of brews on tap, nice pub atmosphere, and the music at a level that allows you to chat without raising your voices yet still enjoy the music. The mix was...a little all over the place, but that's how pubs are supposed to be. Food was ok, nothing special, got the job done. Had the fish and chips, was a little disappointed that there were no peas. I expected that since this place is definitely branded as a British pub. Probably the only British place in the region and oh boy the place is British. You can totally feel the vibe and ambience. Really cool spot to hangout. I was too full to try their Fish and Chips - well what can you even try otherwise if you are in a English restaurant. But definitely took some beer and it was a good time hanging out here. The onion rings were great but the English dessert was terrible. Absolutely hated the custard and bread dessert. Not good. Service was outstanding Jamison was attentive and willing to make me a drink that was not on the menu. I wanted an espresso martini and he delivered. Having spent 15 years in London, you sometimes just want a good fish and chips and I wanted to try these guys out, since I went to their other branch and enjoyed the food immensely. The place itself is very much an average English pub, lots of Knick-knacks on the wall which gives it a cute personality, the service was a little muddled in that they were a little clumsy and gave us the wrong bill.   Lets talk food! I ordered the Fish and Chips and the Popcorn Shrimp, its ok, but that's as much as I'd give it, the Fish and Chips 3.5/5 the fish was a little over and for the love of all that is good, where are the mushy peas, regular peas, heck I'll take baked beans... they're in the back, I know the adjacent store has 'em. The popcorn shrimp were not good, entirely batter and borderline too salty. Suffice to say it was a disappointment, I might go back to their other branch but not this. For a UK pub vibe, Three Lions is really cute! Pretty as expected in terms of ambiance, and luckily not too loud. The fried cheese curds are where it's at. The group I was with ordered three baskets full! Although there was only one main woman working , she was able to make sure everyone got taken care of got drinks and food ordered and delivered in a timely matter. Went today with my son to watch the England World Cup match. Got there 40 minutes before kickoff and grabbed a table on the patio (because it's 21+ in the pub). The patio was empty except for one family with very young children. We grabbed 2 seats at a 4 top with the best view of a tv given the sunshine. Our server came out and told us we had to move to a 2 top because we didn't have more people. She said if the 4 top was still available when the game started we could move back. Well, it wasn't, because the next 3 groups who arrived were all parties of 2 and the last group complained that they couldn't see the tv's so the same server put them at the same table my son and I were kicked out of. I understand the plan is to maximize profits by making sure every seat is filled but that's not what happened here. We left at halftime to go watch at home. read more

Super cute pub, with an authentic Irish (I believe?) or English? market attached. The atmosphere is laid back, full bar, dart boards, with traditional English dishes. My friends and I had a fantastic time at Three Lions Pub! We stumbled upon it while looking for a spot to watch the women's CONCACAF final. Great group of patrons and plenty of tvs. We were surprised to have happy hour options on a Sunday and they had a great selection of food that will appeal to all different people. The server was great and even recited all the beer on tap for us -- we were impressed! Best fish and chips we've had in WA so far. Crispy batter, double fried chips, delicious tartar sauce. It has been years since I was last here because I moved out of the area. It was a Monday night and so it was surprisingly quiet with a lot of open tables. We were greeted and welcomed just after we self seated by a server delivering an order to another large table. Shortly afterwards the barkeeper came across and after handling out questions about what was on tap and took our orders. We didn't order food because we'd eaten elsewhere but their pies are excellent! We had a pleasant evening chatting and they didn't pressure us to order more than one drink each. Fast service I couldn't believe how quick the food came. Three burgers is great. They come with nice hefty toothpicks and fresh Kaiser buns and are just great, cooked to order. Cobb salad has huge portions of chicken and a whole egg. They even give you extra dressing if you're a "saucy" eater. Hehe. Grilled cheese with tomato basil was highly recommended by my friend. "The right choice" he said. Clean and nice restaurant. Seems to have older clientele. Lots of parking, lots of neat places to drive nearby. Right on top of the Novelty Hill Road. Service is 5* with a wait staff who really just cares about people having a good time. She's awesome. We'll be back. Pa we met "the chef". He's cool. The bar has like 10 high tables and at least 10 stools. There are also about 8 seated booths and some more tables around. Several very good ipas and stouts on tap. By the looks of this spot I wasn't expecting the food to be SO good! I got the steamed mussels ($16) and whatever cider was on tap ($7). The steamed mussels came in a creamy sweet sauce that was absolutely amazing with the baguette slices dipped in. Everyone else's dishes looked amazing too. Food took a while but we were kept busy with plenty of drinks, plus we had a big party. Came for lunch on a Tuesday - wasn't crowded at all. Because this restaurant is within walking distance from my home, I come here quite a bit. It isn't for the service in the dining area. Last night (and probably my last time spending my money here), there was one server for over ten tables. We were offered no water at any point during our meal. Each refill for our iced tea had to be asked for. We lined up the three empty glasses at the end of the table for ANYONE to see as they were passing our table to bring out orders, or the lone server would notice. I don't blame the server though. I blame management for not staffing this place better on a Friday evening. Collectively we spent 100+ dollars, so it's probably not much to management or the owner, but we will take our business elsewhere. Stopped by this place to watch the f1 race and it was good. Pretty old school irish pub certainly have their regulars stopping by and having a good time. They have a winderful selection of beer on tap and some specialty ones as well. We ordered the radler, guinness, london porter and a stout and all the beers were really good. We werent too hungry so just ordered crumpets and they tasted really nice and freshly made. Would love to come back and try their food on another game day for sure if not their beer certainly does not disappoint. read more

I really enjoyed myself here. Truthfully this wasn't where I was expecting to dine. I had my eye on another restaurant whose hours aren't reflected accurately throughout the internet. Hungry, my friend spied this restaurant's sign and in we went without knowing a thing about it. At first I was a bit hesitant. It has an old feeling, a bit ragtag with a mixed variety of furniture, animal heads on the walls, a few British items hanging on the walls, and not a whole lot of natural light except what slipped through the heavy curtains. It isn't polished like a Paddy Coyne's but quickly realized this is a location people go to as regulars because it's comfortable. It's not a gimmick - very salt of the earth which is nice. Any hésitations were wiped away by the waitstaff. Those ladies were delightful. They were super friendly, engaging, and super responsive. They seemed to cover everything except cooking as they bussed tables, cleaned them, made cocktails, and took orders. They never were not moving but managed to keep laughing. I loved their cocktails. I ordered a Moscow mule variant that came in a giant glass. It was worth every penny! I also ordered the French dip. That was very good - tender meat, not too cheesy, soft bread. Their au jus was killer. I liked how they had cut fruit as an option over fries. Don't get me wrong, I love fries, but I'm trying to balance my meals more and the fruit was nice. I especially liked that it wasn't all cantaloupe and honey dew but also some of the largest grapes I've ever seen. I left here very happy! read more

I can't wait to go again. I am 50% Brit by citizenship and 75% by Ancestry.com, it's "in my genes"! Finally some honest-to-goodness British Pub food! And Old Speckled Hen! The Lancaster Pasty pastry was heavenly. So classic. With the HP sauce it brought me back to my own Mum's corned beef pie and it's pastry along with Worcestershire sauce. She would have loved the curry sauce for dipping the chips! It was very quiet during our visit, but the initial vibe seemed really friendly. Hope to update to 5 stars at a future visit! read more

This place is fine - old school, probably has its regulars - wanted to like it more. We of course had to have the fish and chips and then we have the curry pastry (think empanada). I enjoyed both but have definitely underwhelmed by the fish and chips in terms of my expectations - the batter lacked flavor and fell off the fish rather easily. The fries were fine but not noteworthy. The curry pastry was definitely the better of the two. That would be a 4 star offering. Service was fine but again not noteworthy. I'd probably return if someone invited me but they probably need an overhaul in terms of menu - even the actual menu - just looks old school which would be fine if it were a place where the food resulted in 4.5 yelp stars but that is not the case. Think the potential is there but everything needs to be elevated. I imagine that things have been done the same way for the better part of two decades if not longer. read more
