    Drunken Monkey

Cool place with great food and friendly service. This is a "dive bar" type place but my coworkers and I loved it. I had the California Burger with onion rings and a Drunken Monkey drink. The burger was delicious! Great, homemade flavor to the meat and cooked perfectly. The drink was yummy too. Will definitely go again when back in town.

I dig a good dive bar, which Daman's Bar and Grill is. I've passed by Daman's countless times and always wondered what's up with this corner spot in an outdated business strip in the Bel-Red area. Yet my curiosity finally caught up with me when my friend and I decided to check it out on a Saturday late afternoon. It was what you'd expect from a dive bar, which is not a bad thing. We came here for happy hour, when appetizers and well drinks are discounted. My friend and I shared nachos with our drinks, which didn't take long to get. Nachos were A-OK. The portion was huge, so was great for sharing, but they weren't amazing or anything like that. It's probably something I wouldn't order again since the chips were kind of stale, ground meat was overcooked and not as cheesy as I like my nachos. My friend really enjoyed them though. The drinks were where it's at and most likely why you're coming here. Our bartender was awesome. She was super chill, no-bullshit kind of deal, and made the drinks with heavy pours of booze and will customize to your liking. I like spicy bloody marys, which this one had a hint of. Plus, bloody marys on weekends are discounted, so why not? Daman's was a chill spot with music that you can play from a touchscreen that you can select and pay on. Bartender was cool AF and the crowd was friendly. You can tell there are regulars here, which is always a must for any dive bar, in addition to the pool tables. I'd come back with the homies.

I was so excited for go to my boyfriend's most frequented spot for lunch when he was still working in the office pre-covid. And wow I LOVE IT. We came before Halloween and I loved how they decorated the tables not being used instead of just having them blank or with ugly tape! So cute and festive! Also can we talk about my wine pour?! Can all wine pours be like this? And he always raves about the food and it definitely lives up to the hype and the pickles he always talks about!! SO YUM!! Just look at the pic! Also, best bloody mary EVER. It was so flavorful and not too watery. I will definitely be coming back for more of those and the food. And the service is just incredible and so quick even though just one person running the whole place!

Fun dive bar with some cozy ambiance. Service is decent and the food is pretty good. Got the Philly sandwich and onion rings and both had just the right amount of flavor. Onion rings were crunchy and crispy good selection of beers available.

The food is always on point and the pours are always generous. Whiskey selection is limited but solid pours like Wild Turkey 101, Laphroaig 10, and Knob Creek 9.

Bar itself is good, my friends favorite. Not very Poppin or busy but good vibes and can get a drink fast. *nachos 3/5 (Huge) *wings 3/5 -if you're drunk and want lots of food for the price nachos is a good bet. Pretty good and plenty of toppings. Pretty good once you're tipsy that is -wings I almost gave 2.5/5 because they were average but could have been more tender and could have more meat on them. Would not do wings again

    Carne asada Tacos
    Danielle N.

Would not recommend the tacos. The carne asada tastes and looks just like roast beef, I think they just use the extra roast beef from sandwiches. The tacos are kind of like street tacos but made with flour tortillas which is weird. Guac was actually pretty good but chips were awful. Clearly out of a bag and stale. The French dip was also bad, terrible bread and old. Service is slow, the restaurant is dark and super loud. Would try the burger cause that seems to be their thing. Will not come back.

I really enjoy this place. The food is good, staff friendly and kind and the vibe is chill. I often like to meet up with friends here. I've not explored the menu too much as I always get the southwest egg rolls. But have tried the poutine and it was yummy. Can't wait for the quarantine to be over sonI can get back to this place.

I came to town for work, and saw this place going to Panda Express to get food. So I figured I would check it out. The first night was perfect. The whiskey burger was, and the service was ok. So the next day I figured I would go back. Got to playing pool, and the guy I was playing pool against made a comment. When I asked him what he said he stuck the cue stick into my throat. After defending myself the bartender Mia kicked me out and allowed him to stay even after I told her what actually happened! This is bullshit that I get kicked out and he is allowed to stay when I was the one defending myself! Update for this review. I think I am going to look into legal counsel for this incident. My throat is hurting due to having a cue stick stuck into my throat. After being a victim of an attack, being accused of being the attacker, kicked out due to accusations, and then being acted like I was the attacker. I believe that this business needs to wake up to what can happen for the nights that they setup for 1/2 off nights! This business will be hearing from my attorney!

    "Carne asada" fries

Cool atmosphere for a neighborhood bar. I've gone here a couple of times for drinks and for food. One of the times was during the World Series. There was a good amount of people present and watching some MNF and baseball. I wanted some wings but was conflicted about the flavor. The server convinced me to try the house special sauce which was not a bad idea! I thoroughly enjoyed them, and the wings were pretty big! Also ordered the carne asada fries, but whoa, where was the carne asada?! It was just fries with some cheese sauce and very little minced meat. A bit disappointing since the carne asada I know from San Diego typically have a good portion of meat!

I love going to local brewpubs and microbreweries when traveling. So when I saw this location of…read moreBellevue's largest microbrewery, my wife and I had to stop in for an early lunch with a sampling of beers. The food and beers were great. As the name states, the very large brewpub is located in the Spring District, inside the park/greenspace. The district used to be an industrial area, that has been transformed into a mixed residential/retail area, centered around the light rail transit station. The brewery makes great use of the outdoor space, with a lot of seating for an impromptu biergarten on nice days. This Tuesday was a typical March day in Seattle, which meant dining inside was a must. We ended up finding street parking a couple of blocks away, though they do have validated parking: in the underground parking right below (with under 10 dedicated spots) and the bigger Spring district Parking garage nearby. Amanda was our server, and she was super friendly, giving us suggestions. They have a large selection of house brewed beers, and we chose eight of the non-IPA ones as two flights, consisting of 4 5oz glasses (assuming it cost $12). We tried the Harvest Boom P.O.G. Wheat (this was our favorite one), Bothell Brown (liked this one), Snake Charmer Irish Red (strangely very mild for a Red), ChugMeister Mazren Lager (my second favorite). Second flight consisted of 1882 Pre-Prohibition Lager (very crisp and light), Muckle Flugga Scotch Ale (really like Scotch Ale in general, though hard to find on the West Coast...thought this version was OK), Schwarzbier Black Lager (different, very mild, really enjoyed), and a Der Kommissar Pilsner (super light with no body). I don't think I've been able to choose two flights of non-IPA in-house beers before...they keep a very large selection here, and it's worth coming to, just for the draft beers. We ordered some bar food that both of us like, and each plate was excellent. Shareable thick cut fries ($11) was very filling, especially since they were fried very well and were sturdy enough for dipping. Got Scotch Ale Chili ($13) and it was hearty, with plenty of pinto beans and good ground beef, with not too much chili powder. It came with housemade tortilla chips, which were thin and excellent. Wanted to try their beef birria, ordered their birria Nachos ($19) and it was really well prepared. Everything was diced into small pieces, used a really good beer cheese sauce and the the fresh guacamole was solid. For a brewpub, it has excellent bar food. The portions were large...we ended up taking about half of it home. Next time, will stay longer and try some of their main course dishes. The room was modern with plenty of windows for natural light. The central bar is huge, but there are plenty of bar tables as well, letting patrons decide how they want to dine/hang. My only complaint was that the payment process was at the table with only a tablet, and gave me no chance to look at the receipt. The total seemed right and was expecting a chance for receipt, but Amanda grabbed the tablet after my tip and signature before I could ask for a digital receipt, and then disappeared. I suppose I could have tracked her down, but getting a receipt after a meal should not be that hard. Can't remember the last time I was out, and couldn't get a receipt easily...would have made this review a bit easier.

The portion was huge, and the flavors mixed well. We were kinda tucked in a booth near the restrooms so service was sporadic, but still very friendly. There is a parking garage just underneath that they'll validate parking for.
