Service was great! Came for happy hour. Nachos was quite decent. The street taco was okay. Would probably skip the tequitos. Would come back to try other items in the future.

Tapatio in Factoria checks all the boxes: Complimentary chips & salsa, combination meals with rice & beans; reasonably priced - $32.95 for two entrees including tax and tip & free parking. This is a solid lunch spot when you're wanting Mexican food. Service was friendly and quick.

Good restaurant for large portions at a cheap price! I got the 2 item combination, which was only 12.25 and was quite filling, especially because it came with rice and beans. The actual items in the combination are pretty minimal - many of the items were essentially tortilla around meat, with all the accoutrements on the outside (lettuce / tomato). Very tasty even if the items weren't all that unique between each other.

Decent Mexican restaurant in the Bellevue area. Complimentary chips were a little stale but their salsa is delicious. I got the espresso burrito. Tasted pretty standard tbh, felt like there could have been more meat. $16 for a burrito - honest good value, it was a massive burrito. Flavors were just kinda ... eh. Service was great ! Super friendly and attentive, refilled our waters and checked in pretty often. Good place for big groups and there is outdoor seating as well. Can be loud depending on how many parties are there but that's expected. Yum!

We visited on a Wednesday evening and were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. I thoroughly enjoyed my margarita and steak. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and spacious, with reasonable prices. Parking was convenient, thanks to the on-site lot.

i hate to say it, but this was the absolute worst mexican food i've ever had in my life. even for "tex mex" it was nasty. i couldn't finish it. the seattle area in general has a very weak mexican food scene already, but this was just inedible. i got the fish tacos & everything just tasted rancid. at the least the service was okay

    Raw

RAW meat , HAIR IN FOOD , NO REFUND and he wouldn't remake it ?? because he said I just want something free and I should've came late at night when they were already closed after my 12 hour work shift ... When you search them up on Apple Maps, this is the website that comes up which even says they have steak fries https://eltapatioca.com/ .. when I went to order they charge me double the price and said it's their lunch menu and they don't have steak fries????

Unwanted plastic utensils and napkins and a thin film plastic bag are no-nos. Please do better!

We enjoyed our take out meal. The spinach enchiladas and enchiladas Guadalajara were both tasty and full of flavor. Having the chips and salsa included was an added bonus. The salsa was muy picante, as a word of warning. On the down side, I was disappointed they included plastic forks and paper napkins, which I didn't ask for. There's been a law in Washington this year that restaurants can only include single use disposable service items if the customer requests them. The intent is to reduce waste and, as a side benefit, save the restaurants money too. I also with they used paper bags instead of thin film plastic.

First timer at Tapatio in Factoria. Not to be confused with Tapatio a few miles down on coal creek (also a good choice.) At first glance I thought they were a chain but upon looking their websites up, can confirm they are 2 different restaurants. I ordered the 2 item combo plate, with chile relleno and a chicken chimichanga. It came with rice and beans, chips and salsa. For $17 it's a bang for your buck, good food and healthy portions. I will definitely look to order from them again in the future to try more of their menu items. If you're looking to check them out for dine in, they're located right next to the Starbucks by the QFC in Factoria.

Locally owned, beautifully run, and absolutely overflowing with craft, Asa is everything a Mercer Island bar should be. The cocktails? Thoughtful, balanced, and downright impressive. The food? Elevated without ever feeling fussy. The atmosphere hits that rare sweet spot between date-night polished and neighborhood familiar. And then there's Zeke--the bar manager, the legend, the mixology wizard, my personal hero. Whether he's crafting something off-menu or guiding you toward your new favorite drink, Zeke and the Asa team deliver hospitality that sticks with you long after the last sip. Asa has quickly earned a spot among the Island's must-visit spots, and if you're lucky enough to grab a seat at the bar, you'll understand why. Come for the cocktails, stay for the people, and leave wondering when you can justify coming back again (hint: the answer is probably tomorrow). Cheers to Asa, to local ownership done right, and to the hero behind the bar.

It's a very small space, they made it cozy and the patio looked great. I had a lot of time to look around because I waited so long. The bakery items were on a plate on the counter right next to the contactless pay thing. There was no cover, or barrier between the pastries and the many people coming to the counter. I've seen buffets that have better distance and covering between people and food. There seemed to be only one barista and one bartender. More people kept coming in, At one point the bartender asked the barista if he could help her, though he wasn't trained. Seems unorganized and coffee was mediocre at best. If you want a cocktail you'd be in the right place, but a cafe this place is not.

It's at the corner of one of the buildings. Dark, mid sized interior with some cool neon lights and light up marble pattern bar counter. Not very busy when I went at happy hour/dinner time on a Friday night, but the place is busier later at night on Friday/Saturday during the warmer months. Sometimes they have events and DJs. Sat at the bar and tried out some happy hour specials. Got the Korean sauce wings ($12) and cheese truffle fries ($8). Decent amount of fries, definitely has cheese flavor but not that much truffle oil aroma. I liked the wings which you get 6 per order. They weren't fried, but rather tender and juicy. Sauce was agreeable. Definitely enough food for my dinner. As for the drinks, I got the rosemary mule which is Moscow mule with some rosemary herb. The copper mug they use is good sized. Tasted refreshing although could feel the alcohol afterwards. Also tried a corpse reviver no. 2, which was a little sweet but has a punch. Cocktail prices are not cheap outside of happy hour, in the upper teens. Overall, was glad I tried the place out. Will drop by for happy hour once in a while.

I opted for their mezcal cocktail while my homegirl got a s'more's type martini I think. Their menu also offers food and wine, but we opted to just try some drinks and bounce. You know, the kind of place where you sit down thinking, "We'll just have one drink," and suddenly it's three tequilas later and you're talking about your childhood dreams. Speaking of tequila... WOW. The tequila selection here is basically a library, and the bartenders are the very enthusiastic librarians. They know everything. My partner and I were lovingly escorted through a full tequila tour before our food even arrived, and honestly? By the time dinner showed up, life was beautiful and all decisions felt correct. Needless to say, we were having an excellent time. The food definitely holds its own too. Everything came out fresh, beautifully plated, and tasting like someone in the kitchen actually cares (which is always a plus). We split a few dishes, including the Carne Asada and the Pescado. The Carne Asada was good, though it could've used just a bit more seasoning, nothing tragic, just a gentle nudge from "good" to "wow." The Pescado, however, was fantastic. Topped with olives, capers, and tomatoes... I mean, how do you even mess that up? You don't. And they didn't. Bonus points: they're open late, until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. So if you find yourself wandering the streets of Bellevue after hours, questioning your life choices and craving tequila and good food, congratulations, you've found your place. Overall: great vibes, strong drinks, solid food, and bartenders who will happily teach you more about tequila than you ever planned to know. I'd absolutely come back, and probably let them "educate" me again.
