First time in for brunch and it was great! At 10:30am on a Saturday we had plenty of seating options to choose from. Our waitress was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance is laid back funky. Our order was delivered exactly as requested and in a timely manner, and the Benedict was very well done with a crispy English muffin, creamy hollandaise sauce, and perfectly poached eggs. If you want delicious brunch and great vibes this is a great place!

With its tinted windows and unassuming facade, you would never guess that Steve's Bar & Grill serves delicious breakfast food. I was craving chicken fried steak and eggs and got exactly what I wanted when I went to Steve's Bar & Grill for lunch. The eggs, hashbrown, and chicken fried steak were all cooked well, but the star of the dish was definitely the country gravy. I was a big fan of whatever spice (paprika?) they sprinkled on top of it. I also got a bite of my girlfriend's lobster benedict which tasted great as well. The price for these two dishes were also very reasonable imo ($14.95 for the chicken fried steak and $17.95 on 10-21-23). If I ever get a craving for either of these dishes, I certainly will be back for brunch.

This place is a grade-A dive bar for sure! TVs for sports viewing, pull tabs, super friendly bartenders, what more could you ask for!? It's located in a strip mall, and is a little unassuming from the outside, but it was relatively busy at 3:30 on a Tuesday afternoon so I took that as a good sign. We didn't try the food, so I can't comment there, but the Bloody Mary ($7.50) hit the spot and packed a punch! Pros Great dive bar vibe Pull tabs Easy parking

I like dive bars, so was glad that a dive bar was around the Bel-Red area, which isn't too far from where I live. You wouldn't even know this place was around unless you passed by it in its busy business strip. After a day of wine tasting, we decided to keep the party going with one last stop at Steve's Bar & Grill. We visited on a Saturday night and the place was pretty busy, but not crowded. I loved the vibe here, as everyone, including the staff was so chill and laidback. It's a fun place, with dim lighting and lively music. Like every dive bar, they had a good list of local taps and then some, with a full bar and pub fare. It's a place where you can tell they have regulars and there's a reason for it. My friends and I shared the nachos and tots, which were A-OK. Nothing too special about the appetizers here. I did like that they had Bodhizafa on tap. The menu had a lot to offer, with standard bar food, but they also had nightly specials. I'll have to come back to check it out, as I hear the entrees are delicious; we may have just ordered the wrong grub. Until then.

Very small interior, but even so, they did a pretty okay spacing out people (ventilation/airflow wasn't really existent though if that bothers you) Overall though, this was a good little hangout - slightly dimmed lighting and a more calm ambiance than you would expect from a dive bar. We didn't order food, but the people next to us did and it smelled delicious!! I thought the seasonal drinks were overpriced (Mainly since mine was basically a small margarita since I didn't even get my basil!) I would still return though for normal stuff on tap or a well drink though.

Good thing with this is that it closes late. We weren't expecting that bar food would be good but this one is surprisingly delicious! Ohh I love their Strawberry lemonade and my partner had margarita which he thought was a bit strong and I thought that for $8 price that was cheap for a strong drink lol. But overall definitely would come back here!

Well I stopped in here today when I saw this place as I was walking by. It is in a strip mall with an unassuming front. As soon as you open the door you walk into a comfortable, Old school pub. The bar is fully stocked and the beer is cold. I enjoyed a kolsh. I was not yet hungry for a for lunch but I wanted to try something. I end up getting a cup of their enchilada soup. This was so good! A hearty broth with veggies and pieces of chicken. Tortilla strips and avocado with cilantro topped it off. Very good. Their bartender/server was super attentive and helpful about the food. I brought my husband back in the evening because I saw they had a prime rib special. On Wednesdays! We walked in and found a seat right away. It was a different bartender but she came and was attentive immediately. We both got the prime rib dinner. It comes with a baked potato, loaded or not, and fresh broccoli spears. 2295$. We were very excited. My husband tried the soup to start because I recommended it. It was very good and he enjoyed it. When our prime rib came the first time it was completely well done and unappealing. We had ordered medium rare. The waitress took them back immediately and apologized. A short time later she came back with two more pieces that were medium rare. The prime rib had good flavor although it was a bit chewy. It came with creamy horseradish sauce which I like a lot! The say Jus was tasty and hot. And the potatoes were loaded with bacon cheese and sour cream with some chives. I husbands potato was nice and fluffy. Mine was a bit dark and overcooked. The broccoli was fresh crispy and tasty. Overall a nice meal. I may come again next time I'm in the area to try the prime rib again. Maybe we came a bit too late? It was 7:45 in the evening. The service was prompt, friendly, and she definitely took care of our needs. The atmosphere is public with a few TVs playing sports. People were enjoying themselves which made for a good atmosphere.

Came here with hubby to watch a Seahawks game. Great little place, wait staff, server and regulars were warm, courteous and friendly. Great food and service. I ordered the French dip and I like it! We'll stop by again when we are in the area.

Came here for dinner before a work party with a party of 10, depending on the day they take reservations but always call at least when you are on your way to let them know a big party is coming. They have SOUR BEERS! The food was really good. Reminded me of after school fries. I got a BBQ Burger and it was nice. All the ingredients tasted so fresh and crisp. I had to cut it in half to eat the burger. The burger came with a side of fries. My coworker got their classic cheeseburger and OMG it looked so beautiful! The cheese melted so nicely and he said that it tasted so good. It was pretty busy and our waitress was super attentive and sweet. The music was a good selection and the atmosphere was very chill. If you live near by or need a quick place to stop by for some good food and drink, this is a spot!

How could we say no, so she presented us with a few non-standard options like watermelon (and I can't remember the other types, my bad!). It turns out that it's their new brunch special, so if you accept the mimosa on the way in, it's $4, where the regular price is $10 -- definitely good to keep in mind if you're visiting during weekend brunch! When it came down to the food, I ordered the fried bologna sandwich while my husband had the tom tom benedict (green and red tomatoes). Both were quite good -- I loved the twist on the ol' bologna sandwich, though I the tom tom bene was prob our fave. Anyhow, I was suprised at how much we liked the food from this tavern, and I'll definitely include it as an option from now on, when we're coming up with places to visit. Highly recommend this place. I wish the waiter explained what came on our plate, but he quickly scooted away. The scallops were my favorite. Nice and mild and sweet flavor. The grand also came with 6 sauces to pair. Wasn't sure which sauce went best with which, but doesn't hurt to try? shell on shrimp and lobster claw were the second and third bests in my opinion. - Grilled Black-eyed Perch (4/5): got a smaller 1.2 lb fish. Can get it grilled and fried. Fried is ~$4 more. This fish was around 38-39/lb at the time of writing. Flavors were so great! Not a bony fish at all and didn't have to really pick at it. There's something to be said about those classic businesses still intact in an ever-growing Bellevue, including Lil' Jon's. I can't believe it took me so long to make my way here, but actually, I can believe it since I hardly ever go out for breakfast, which this place primarily is known for - classic breakfast entrees. Sure, they have a lunch menu of sandwiches, soups and salads, but breakfast is what you come here for. My friends and I went to Lil' Jon's for breakfast on a Sunday morning and yes, the place was packed, especially since it was a few days after Christmas, so everyone was in town. For the four of us, we waited for about half an hour, which we didn't mind. They do have seats/a waiting area by the entrance. I ordered the biscuits and gravy dish and we all shared the cinnamon roll. We heard the cinnamon rolls are a must-try, and quite honestly, I think you can skip out on this. We were told when we ordered one around the late morning that we were taking one of the last ones as they sell out of these babies, so maybe that's why the cinnamon roll wasn't all that tasty as it wasn't warm and soft. It tasted like it was sitting out for awhile, and was not easy to cut through which is surprising since it's dough. But yeah, skip the cinnamon roll. If you have to try it for yourself, note that it's massive, so is easy to share. However, my biscuits and gravy were solid. I love country gravy, which there was a good amount of, especially on top of the soft-baked biscuits. I would've preferred the sausage in the gravy to have been ground pork sausage, which is normally how this is made, but the cut-up sausage links were fine. I like that you can also get eggs however you prefer, so poached for the win! Anyway, Lil' Jon's is a staple in Bellevue that all Bellevue residents should try at least once. So when I saw this location of…read moreBellevue's largest microbrewery, my wife and I had to stop in for an early lunch with a sampling of beers. The food and beers were great. As the name states, the very large brewpub is located in the Spring District, inside the park/greenspace. The district used to be an industrial area, that has been transformed into a mixed residential/retail area, centered around the light rail transit station. The brewery makes great use of the outdoor space, with a lot of seating for an impromptu biergarten on nice days. This Tuesday was a typical March day in Seattle, which meant dining inside was a must. We ended up finding street parking a couple of blocks away, though they do have validated parking: in the underground parking right below (with under 10 dedicated spots) and the bigger Spring district Parking garage nearby. Amanda was our server, and she was super friendly, giving us suggestions. They have a large selection of house brewed beers, and we chose eight of the non-IPA ones as two flights, consisting of 4 5oz glasses (assuming it cost $12). We tried the Harvest Boom P.O.G. Wheat (this was our favorite one), Bothell Brown (liked this one), Snake Charmer Irish Red (strangely very mild for a Red), ChugMeister Mazren Lager (my second favorite). Second flight consisted of 1882 Pre-Prohibition Lager (very crisp and light), Muckle Flugga Scotch Ale (really like Scotch Ale in general, though hard to find on the West Coast...thought this version was OK), Schwarzbier Black Lager (different, very mild, really enjoyed), and a Der Kommissar Pilsner (super light with no body). I don't think I've been able to choose two flights of non-IPA in-house beers before...they keep a very large selection here, and it's worth coming to, just for the draft beers. We ordered some bar food that both of us like, and each plate was excellent. Shareable thick cut fries ($11) was very filling, especially since they were fried very well and were sturdy enough for dipping. Got Scotch Ale Chili ($13) and it was hearty, with plenty of pinto beans and good ground beef, with not too much chili powder. It came with housemade tortilla chips, which were thin and excellent. Wanted to try their beef birria, ordered their birria Nachos ($19) and it was really well prepared. Everything was diced into small pieces, used a really good beer cheese sauce and the the fresh guacamole was solid. For a brewpub, it has excellent bar food. The portions were large...we ended up taking about half of it home. Next time, will stay longer and try some of their main course dishes. The room was modern with plenty of windows for natural light. The central bar is huge, but there are plenty of bar tables as well, letting patrons decide how they want to dine/hang. My only complaint was that the payment process was at the table with only a tablet, and gave me no chance to look at the receipt. The total seemed right and was expecting a chance for receipt, but Amanda grabbed the tablet after my tip and signature before I could ask for a digital receipt, and then disappeared. I suppose I could have tracked her down, but getting a receipt after a meal should not be that hard. Can't remember the last time I was out, and couldn't get a receipt easily...would have made this review a bit easier.

This is definitely my favorite eastside brewery - if not Seattle area brewery in general. Not sure…read morehow I haven't posted a review before!? I'm not a huge IPA fan, but they always have something malty or lager-like on the menu, too. Food is, IMHO, solid. Burgers are good, the fish and chips can be greasy but are usually quite good. Wife seems to like the chili and gluten-free pizzas. Staff are always awesome characters with a (fun, good) personality. Usually some game is on the TVs, and depending on time of day/week/year the crowd varies. Go visit. Breweries are closing because the younger generation's drinking less. You don't have to drink a ton, just support a local place with good food, vibe, and drinks (there's plenty of NA things).
