New "Yappy Hour@ options kinda suck
    Ryan E.

I have to downgrade my rating for this place. The good happy hour food options they had have gone away, and the beer and wine seem really overpriced. They do still have free popcorn, but it was really salty when I tried it. Service at the counter was not as good A plus, they played Avett Brothers song "Laundry Room " while I was there. Music is still good.

Had a great time here, nice and cozy spot on a Sunday evening in December. Brought our dog but were informed we had to sit outside since we had a dog (must be a policy per King County since the Tacoma Red Dog location allows dogs inside). Thankfully they had heat lamps outside. Fun concept to scan a card at each tap to get good beers on draft and even some wine. We tried the bbq pizza, hawaiian pizza and tater tots nachos style, everything was pretty good! Nice portions for the price. Helpful friendly service too. There's also board games here, where we saw families playing board games together which was nice. Not all of the taps had alcohol so minors can enjoy some beverages. You order the food on your phone by scanning the QR code at the table. Then cash out as well with the phone. When you cash out for the beverages, you do have to go to the cashier with the tipping tablet starting at 20%, 22% etc. Which is a little strange to start that high since you pour your own beers and buss your own table at the end. Again, staff are friendly but weird to have the tipping percentages start so high for a self-pour establishment. You can enter a custom amount though. Also, the low ratings because of the parking is not the establishment's fault, that's a silly reason to give a low rating. They dont own the building. However, it is free on weekends just fyi

I found my tap! YOU are the beertender here. Grab a card (attached to your credit card) and swipe and pour. The cool thing here is you can sample all you want until you find a good tap. And that I did! They serve pub food as well so we got a number of different types of pizzas which were pretty good. Personal sizes so great for yourself or to share. Definitely goes well with beer. Seating is fairly social with long communal tables, but I found I was on my feet a lot cause I wanted to try more beer! Cool joint! They also have serve yourself popcorn in the corner there.

My fiancé and I visited the Friday after Thanksgiving, and we were pleasantly surprised by this place! The atmosphere was welcoming, and we loved their selection of alcohol on tap. I had a hard tea that I thought was pretty good! The food was the highlight.. typical bar food, but everything we had was delicious! We would love to return again with our dog in the summer. Great vibes!!

You wouldn't even realize it was a full brewery inside if you drove by, but this was a great find! The outdoor patio is dog-friendly. A bummer that it's not dog-friendly inside. They have a little menu for dogs and lots of swag and treats for sale inside. It's also surprisingly large inside. Food was fresh. Will definitely come back.

We actually stopped here after the World Cup watch party in Seattle. We personally didn't see anything very appetizing on the menu besides the pretzel, which was pretty good. We also got our pup the cluck cluck (had way more food, just too much for him)

Cheesy bacon tater tots (scallion on side)!

I really love this place! True to the name, they are very dog friendly. It is perfect on a warm summer afternoon! You can bring your dogs and sit outside and buy them some special bakery treats that are up front! There are a huge variety of beers on draft and you can choose which you want and pour yourself (there is a card that tracks how much you pour)! I usually look for a fun hef, but they even have margaritas, ciders, wine, and interesting sodas on tap! So a little something for everyone. I've been to places like this before, but what makes this place stand out is the food is also fantastic. These might be my favorite wings. Period. They are juicy and flash friend and I get garlic parm on it and ... wow. Their cheesy bacon tater tots are also amazing. So is their pizza. They have trivia nights as well. Everyone who works here is great too. Shout out to Harry, he is awesome. Can't wait to come back!

Stopped by here with a co-worker after a BBQ got rained out. Redd Dogg is a tap room similar to Tapster right in downtown Bellevue that is nice place to come to sample some beers as well as get dedicated pints. How it works similar to "Tapster", you use your payment card at the front counter to start a tab of sorts in the form of a card they give you. Once you have your card, you slide it at one about a dozen or so taps that have different beers and ciders. They had a decent selection to choose from and are right about the $7 or so mark which I like. What is cool about these it if you want you can do your own samples of beer so to speak at your leisure, but of course the downside is it's going to charge you something that ordinarily be free at say a brewery. Redd Dogg has lots of merch in general, but a fair amount of dog merch which I suppose is to get their brand out there. The actual tap room is a decent size with mostly high counter seating but also some outdoor seats as well. They have plenty of snacks and food for purchase. My coworker and I shared some nacho fries which weren't the best. They were hot and cheesy but were soggy and lacked flavor. If you're looking for a variety of drinks to choose from and can't get to a dedicated brewery, Redd Dogg is ok. I'd consider returning if a group I'm with happens to be in the downtown in the area.

Had a work happy hour here and had a great time. All the food was delicious, especially the big red pizza. Their fries were perfectly cooked & the staff was amazing. Their tables were constantly refreshed and kept clean. I wasn't obsessed with the drinks because I'm not much of a beer drinker. The non alcoholic drinks were good too, but they ran out of the diet seattle cola. They also have a large amount of games which is great for team bonding.

Indoors and outdoors mostly self service via QR & Phone - very limited staff
    Ron M.

Food was acceptable. Not as good as Bellevue Brewing but better than Chili's. Drinks are super expensive and the self service QR only with limited staff is frustrating - yet of course they have a tip screen (WTF?!!!) It's a cool looking place with good drinks and pet friendly, but terrible parking options. The outdoor section is nice but is shaded about 2 hours before

We have been here two times now. The first time we came early in the day and sat inside with our dogs. We were the only ones there at that time, but we were under the impression that they are entirely dog friendly, since they have a dog menu and all. The second time the host asked us if our dogs were service animals and said they only allow service animals inside. So, we had to sit outside that time. It was chilly, but they do have heaters above some tables, which was nice. I guess the key is to go early before they get busy if you want to sit inside with your dogs, but you cannot count on which way it will go. Overall, this place is really great, although the food could be better. The cauliflower wings are our favorite thing we've tried here so far.

I came to this bar expecting the food to be good. But, it was kind of bland. The pizza needed a bit more flavor. The wings could be better, I enjoyed the way they were made. The nachos had no taste. All of the food looked dry, but it was pretty good . The service was nice, though. Ambiance is nice, I enjoyed the dark lighting. Best thing on the menu: Mozzarella Sticks!

The Redd Dog is a needed addition to Bellevue, as it's the first bar where you can pour your own draft, so no need to wait around for a server for refills. The world is your oyster here, or, beer. I love how dog-friendly this place is, but will say that when I first learned about the dog theme, I assumed dogs were allowed in the bar. Unfortunately, that's not the case. But they are allowed outside on the patio and even have their own menu and toys and treats for sale. Any place that has their dog in mind is somewhere I'm instantly a fan of. My dog and I came here on a Friday afternoon and the place was pretty busy out on the patio. Get here early or have a friend grab a spot because it's a popular place, especially if you want to bring your dog. Some tables have umbrellas outside and some of the chairs are more for lounging. It's a nice outdoor space. For drinks, an employee loads a card with your credit card that you will use to get your own drink. Basically, it's loading money on the card, so that you can tap it at your drink stand before it starts pouring. In addition to lots of local beers, they have wine, seltzer and hard kombucha. If you plan to order food, you don't need to load a card as this is served as it normally would be at a restaurant, with scanning the QR code and you can order and pay on your phone. I didn't get to try the food, but would be down to come back with friends for a meal and some drinks with our fur babies. Sounds like a great plan.

They offer happy hour all day on Sundays, and since they don't take reservations, it's first come, first served. We arrived a little after 2 PM and there was plenty of open seating inside and out. This location is in the Spring District, which is super convenient if you're taking the light rail since it drops you off right there. It's located next to a park like plaza with a small grassy area and little water fountains. According to their website, kids are welcome in the restaurant and patio areas until 8 PM (but not in the bar area), which makes this a nice family friendly spot earlier in the day. Later on, the vibe seems like it would be perfect for catching a game, grabbing drinks with friends, and enjoying a more energetic brewery atmosphere. We started with two Moscow mules. Since that's one of our go to drinks and we've had quite a few, these weren't our absolute favorite here. They leaned more on the lime heavy side, and we weren't sure if the ginger beer was just a little flat. That being said, we still finished them! The Birria nachos were the highlight for me! They were so delicious, and the beer cheese sauce was SO good. I honestly just wished there was more of it because it added such a great flavor. My only small complaint is that I wish the toppings were spread out a little more evenly so every bite had a good mix, but overall they were still really tasty. The Mac Attack was also good, but it didn't completely wow us. If you're looking for an ultra thick, super creamy mac and cheese, this probably isn't that style. Still, it was a solid dish and enjoyable! Overall, we had a great first visit and would definitely come back to try more of the menu. He was new, attentive, and did a wonderful job throughout the evening. The girl training him was also great and equally attentive and professional. This review is not a reflection of either of them--the service at our table was excellent. Our group spent nearly $350 on dinner and drinks that evening and ordered multiple cocktails and beverages throughout the meal. A friend ordered two glasses of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc listed at $14 per glass. We were told they were out and that the only available alternative was the Rombauer Sauvignon Blanc at $18 per glass. Since there were only two options and the restaurant was out of the original wine ordered, we assumed the price would be adjusted accordingly. When the bill arrived, we were charged the full $18 per glass. We politely asked the manager, Taylor, about it. Her first response was, "Did you drink it?" When we explained that we did, but that the substitution was due to the restaurant being out of the wine we ordered, she followed with, "Have you been here before?"--which felt unnecessarily dismissive considering we have visited at least 30+ times. Taylor refused to adjust the price, stating that because we drank the wine, no adjustment would be made. When we decided to simply pay and leave, she then commented that we were "escalating things." To make matters worse, as we were leaving, she stood with the host, pointed us out, and made a point of announcing that we were leaving, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. This was never about the $8 difference--especially during a nearly $350 meal. It was about customer service and how a simple issue was handled. Unfortunately, the manager's response overshadowed what was otherwise a nice evening and excellent service from our server. Disappointing experience from management and not what we have come to expect from a place we have supported for years.
