This our second time here and the food was amazing. First time had the burger and chips. Wish the burger came with fries. Chips are ok but their fries are amazing!! This time I had the fish and chips, usually not a beer battered fan but this batter is amazingly crunchy, fish is fresh and firm, not greasy and very flavorful their tarter sauce is the perfect accompaniment. I had a sweet Apple Cider that was very good, I am generally not a beer or cider person but enjoyed this. I love that they a a variety for everyone. read more

No! This is not correct! You are lying! First of all, My baby never throwing a cup of aioli at a staff member! She dropped water and my husband helped clean the floor. Her entire plate of food is just a piece of pizza. And also we said sorry and helped clean it right away. But the owner reacted with hostility and unwelcoming way. He came to us angrily , staring my 2 year old baby fiercely. His tone and attitude is not just warning, but also scared. He doesn't have any right to blame and verbally threaten my baby! He threatened no more food for her and gets the plate away from her even though she hasn't finished it. His expression and his tone made my baby felt unsafe. It's a kind of bully a baby. As a result of this mistreatment, my daughter experienced nightmares and cried out in fear during the night. No child should ever have to endure such distress. Secondly, as an Asian family with young age kid, we felt discriminated by the owner. I called the police for help and I will also contact some organizations to help us deal with kids bullying and Asian discrimination situations. Last but not least, she is my baby. You are not her parents, not her teacher. You don't have any right to blame and demean her in public! You don't have any right to be rude and mean to her. I don't care how you speak to your 3 boys, but you cannot speak to my little baby hostility and offensively! That's bullying! I would recommend this to anyone trying to have a good time, and good food. Came in with my brother and we both loved the pizza and the fire. Good music and they have a big selection of table games to play. The service was great they explained how it all worked. So many beers to try and wine as well. I loved the idea of a self serving draft. I got a treat for my dog as well and the staff were quick in bringing a water bowl out. Great addition to Bellevue. read more

Great big burgers & nice selection of beer. You have to go to a counter and order and of course pour your own beer. It was pretty clear the burgers were not freshly cooked as they arrived at our table in under 5 minutes - someone walks the food out to you. Then you're expected to clean your table and put your dirty dishes in these racks. What I don't get, and the reason I'm only giving it 2 stars is that on checkout, you're presented with a "TIP" screen. Seriously???? WTF should I tip when I do most of the service? The establishment should either pay the staff more & stop expecting the customer to cover their salary, or just up the price of everything by the tip amount and not mention tips anywhere. read more

My husband and I went on Saturday. The inside of the restaurant had a couple of tables occupied. My husband and I both agreed that food was just mediocre. The concept of the restaurant was interesting but the quality of food and a self-service from ordering to cleaning up except for a server bringing food to our table (he even handed plates and utensils to me when I was at the front area for something else. It felt a bit like a glorified fast food restaurant with self-pouring draft machines. We order onion rings which had thick batter, tacos w lack of flavor (supposed to be 3 different protein inside but tasted no difference), and a burger which my husband said it was okay, it didn't look appetizing though. Food was good and basic pub dishes however the beer selection is limited and not the most exciting for my taste. I would have preferred more microbrews from outside of WA to be able experiment new flavors. San Diego has some wonderful IPAs that could be fun to enjoy. read more

QR codes have been over for two years on outside patios. Not only do you have to order for yourself and pour your own beer, you also have to tip the servers for some reason for doing nothing. If you ask him them for help for the gift card/charge card scenario that you must abide to for some reason? you will be treated like an idiot. I've been three times. That's my rule. Really more of a 2.5 star situation but I'll give the last half for potential. It's great to have a self-pour pub in the neighborhood and I'm sure I'll return for beer and a pretty good atmosphere. It's a nice alternative to BBC due to the great beer selection. Here are my suggestions that will keep me coming back: Step up the food. The menu was not exciting and the flavors even less-so. Nothing ordered by my group of four people was yummy. It was all just fuel with no creativity. Bar food can be made with care and none of this seemed to be. Head east six blocks on NE 8th to sample some tasty basic bar food. Set prices that allow for quality ingredients, reasonable portions, and fair wages. In general, the prices are in line with similar spots in Bellevue but those places have things like hand-cut fries and salads/sandwiches not comprised of pizza ingredients. Seems like the menu was written by business people (or AI) not food people. Turn down the lights later in the evening. I was there from 6:30-10PM. At one point it seemed like staff started to dim the lights a bit but then they went right back up. It was not a great vibe. Along those lines, consider making the place a bit less family-friendly, maybe after 9PM? Kids exist, I have them. That doesn't mean I want to be literally surrounded by them on a Saturday night at a pub. I get that it's hard to communicate such a policy (kids are welcome until 9) but turning the lights down a bit might help. The facility, staff, and service were all great. Clean, friendly, and efficient for the most part. I'm not a fan of plates coming out one at a time, which is usually a training issue--hope it's not policy! We will be giving The Redd Dog Bellevue another shot because it's convenient and a great way to sample a lot of different beers but will be hesitant to spend the time and money associated with a meal if the menu and execution remain flat. read more

left this place with very mixed feelings. ordering experience was a bit jarring: have to order via phone by scanning a qr code and you are required to enter personal info i did not care to share so i rolled my eyes and entered junk info. you have to get ur own water and such. ordered the fish and chips; fries were amazing! batter / crust was sadly raw on the inside and overall made the meal quite unpleasant. no one comes to check on you during your meal. it was a business lunch so i didn't have the peace of mind to flag the one staff member. coleslaw was not good. layout is a bit odd: several tvs playing sports along the far side of the space but if you happen to sit on the wrong side of the table you wont see any tv. so half of the seating gets to see a tv and the other does not. read more

i love the idea of a dog friendly patio and outdoor seating, love the idea of a multitude of self-pour beers and charging by the ounce if you don't want a full beer. that said, all the server does is bring food, nothing more, a few steps farther than fast food and they have an assumed tip on the bill prior to the service, so I tip 20% but, the pulled pork tacos were inedible due to the amount of fat, the chicken tacos had dry, cubed chicken as though from a can perhaps? in addition the expectation is you also clean up after yourself and sort your left overs and glasses/tray/silverware. I have to order from a kiosk, go get my own beer, clean my table and sort my dishes, so what is the anticipated tip for if I'm doing 80% of the service? I might stop in for a beer only for variety but I will not stop in for the food or lack of service. it's a good example of a great idea with mediocre execution. read more
