Stopped here to get some lunch and watch football. I absolutely love this place. Plenty of seating and several televisions to enjoy your favorite sports team, if that's your thing. I went solo, so I sat at the bar. The staff were excellent, and while they were busy with the lunch crowd, they made sure I knew they were aware I was waiting. The bartender brought over a jar of water for me to refill my glass, then took my order. I went with the Taco Smash Burger. GOOD LAWD that thang was good. I also had the fried pickles, but they were a tad too salty for me. I had to pull the batter off just to eat them. Maybe the chef got a little heavy-handed on the batter that day. I will undoubtedly revisit this place when I am back in town. You all should go check them out, and when you do, tell'em Drew sent ya! Y'all be easy now! Drew

Child Pepperoni Pizza - so good!

Stopped in as a family after Snowflake lane and was very pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, my daughter had the chicken strips, and my husband and son each ordered pizzas. The kids food promptly arrived which was awesome, but the plates were piping hot and they struggled to resist delving into their meals. Once they were able to, they were both satisfied. My grilled cheese was okay. It was deceiving with the cheese oozing out of the sides but - there was hardly any on the inside - however the bread was very tasty. It was better when dipped in the soup that's for certain. I was a little bummed because there were only two pickers (the picture on the menu made it look like there would be a lot more) and a random carrot with the meal. Our server was exceptionally friendly, and the vibe is always fun. It's safe to say we'll come in again soon.

My team and I came for lunch, and it was busier than I expected. Looks like there was only one server covering most of the area, so he was pretty busy, and service wasn't the quickest. I got the Southern Style Fish & Chips, which was good, but I like my fish & chips with BBQ sauce along with the tartar sauce. So, I was slowly working on my fries, while waiting to eat my fish. Our server took a very long time, and we couldn't get his attention because he was busy with other tables. Everyone was halfway done with their food while I was still waiting for my BBQ sauce. Finally, someone from our table asked another staff member for BBQ sauce on his way to the bathroom. Their cocktails are yummy. Would love to come back for happy hour.

As a non-local visiting Bellevue, you will find quite a few options to consider. I was fortunate enough to dine at Tavern Hall which was booming with business on this Saturday evening. There is a common vibe in both the appearance, décor and menu options at Taven Hall. You will see families as well as adults engaged in fun conversations and celebrations throughout. The restaurant has extensive seating which includes a row that overlooks to picturesque downtown area and has a good-sized lounge with monitors displaying sporting events for many preferences. The team there was extremely friendly and made every accommodation possible to fit the additional folks that joined our large party. I chose for my meal selection the Tavern Burger which was represented very accurately when it arrived. The burger was robust with freshness and flavor. In all honesty, it was one of the best burgers that I've had and was highlighted by the freshness of ingredients and the combined flavors. The fries were pretty traditional, but burger itself was quite filling in itself. The pickles, which appeared to be made in-house were fine. There were many aspects of Tavern Hall that would make it a regular destination of mine if it were located near my home. Great service, very good food, vast adult beverage options and a comfortable environment. My visit to Tavern Hall was the first, but will be the first of many upon my return to Bellevue. This was a very fun spot to enjoy a casual dinner while visiting this picturesque city. Enjoy!

We love the tavern hall because we usually don't have to wait to be seated. Service is always kind and fast. We've been here with teens and kids and we all have fun. Great family ambiance. The food is always fresh, full of flavor and good alternatives from burgers to pizza rolls tacos and salads

Great atmosphere to come in and watch the game, plus their music playlist was good. Our server Chelsea was so sweet and gave amazing recommendations as it was our first time dining here. We came during happy hour which was nice! The fried pickle weren't my favorite, I feel like there too thin 6/10. The Wisconsin Cheese Curds are INCREDIBLE, the cheese pull is unreal and omg the Jalapeño jam 10/10. The spicy chicken sando is cooked very well, but I feel like there wasn't exactly a standout flavor almost like it was missing something and it wasn't hot at all 8/10. The s'mores dessert is pretty sweet, but I like how it had graham cracker pieces giving it a bit of a crunch and the toasted marshmallow was delish 9/10. Overall the menu is very extensive and I think it's a great value for the price, I would 100% love to come back and try more dishes!

What a fantastic happy hour! Good selection of appetizers: $13 full sized juicy burgers, flavorful wings, $9 kale Caesar & a fluffy chocolate s'mores mousse. Friendly fast service, nice warm vibe in a clean bar/restaurant.

Service is pretty good and they have a waitlist that you can join. The food is okay and not that great. The sandwich was cold and a bit soggy though the fries are good. It is a great place to be while a sports game to hangout and drink

I visited with family, a group of 7, and we were seated pretty quickly! I loved the vibe of the restaurant and the decorations. I did feel like a modern-day tavern. I had the Cubano Sandwich. I had never had that combination of sandwich ingredients before, and it was delicious! I definitely did not regret getting it. For a drink, I tried the Strawberry Mint Lemonade, and I was skeptical of having mint in my drink like that, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Best happy hour deal in dt Bellevue!!!! Loved my burger with high quality beef, and the amazing kale salad (again, high quality) Fries and the chicken wings were okay Service was so friendly and amazing, and brought us free dessert as an appreciation for first time customers - thank you for the hospitality!!

Good happy hour burger and truffle fries. Weirdest service EVER. I felt like a hostage.

Good happy hour burger and truffle fries. Not worth feeling like I was being held hostage in a Haldol-infused happy place . Weirdest dining experience EVER. (more about that later). The burger is reason enough to never go to Great State Burger in the south building. It's easily 10 times better. The truffle fries have just enough truffle oil (or the industrial imitation stuff) without it tasting artificially funky. And $10 for the burger? $8 for the fries. Steal of a deal in this area. The fries were enough for two people easily, maybe even three. Even though the bartender, who originally took my order, didn't ask what doneness I preferred for the burger, it was still juicy and flavorful. Too dimly lit for me to tell if it was still pink in the middle, but it tasted fine. Pickles were kinda funky though. They had an off flavor. By the time I was ready for the check, the bartender disappeared. I'm sure he was taking a break after serving the (front) bar as well as tables in the bar area. A server showed up and was taking orders. I used the international sign of I'm-ready-for-the-check (napkins piled on top of empty plates pushed away from me). After maybe the third time he passed me, he asked if I needed another drink. I said no. He took another pass or two before I used the other international sign of I-want-to-leave, I had my credit card out on the table. He finally asked if I wanted to put it on the card, I said yes. So here's where it gets weird. I thought he took my and ran it, because he didn't return with the handheld card reader. He said, there was something still coming for the kitchen for me and made it sound like it was some kind of dessert comp. He gave me some kind of weird nod and wink and said, "trust me". Okay, I figure some small or virtually no-cost treat would come out like a cookie or something... minutes passed and a food runner or other server came up with..........a big plate of fried cheese curds. What the hell. I'm trying to leave. I said I couldn't eat them and didn't order them (this other server/food runner seemed surprised). I explained even though I had the cheeseburger, I used my only lactaid pill. And...I did not order them. I was full. ( I didn't even eat all the fries.) So the guy gave them to the next table. So, I put my jacket on and realize I didn't get a receipt. The wink-and-nod server comes by and I tell him I need a receipt. He seemed dismayed that the cheese curds weren't in front of me and I said I had to turn them away. He then said, oh, he didn't run my card and he has to take the cheese curds off my bill first. Really, really bizarre. Anyway, I was annoyed and trying to leave. I don't understand why they guy just didn't ring me up like I asked the first time. If you're okay with the mostly-harmless-Chilli's-TGIFridays-vibe, and way too normal safe space for tech bros and designer clothes mall rats , this is the place. If you're okay with servers ordering food you didn't ask for while you're trying to leave, then I guess this is the place for you as well. Good burger. Never going back. I have too much weirdness at work, I don't need it for dinner. Oh, and FYI, Fogo de Chao in the Lincoln Square South does a $10 happy hour burger ALL DAY. It's very good. And the service is professional and friendly, without the weirdness. If you want a good burger and happy hour prices, that's your best bet. And it's only another 5 or 10 minute walk.

Went here with my partner and another couple w their 1.5 year old and it was OK. Not bad but not amazing. We did get seated quickly which is a plus. It did take quite a while for someone to come over with waters/intros. We ordered 3 apps together + a separate entree. My partner and I both got salads which we enjoyed. This place is very loud depending on number of guests + where you sit. If you want somewhere quiet your best bet would be as far from the bar as possible. The service wasn't the best but I'm not sure if it was due to the fact that our waitress looked to be helping many tables at once. Asking for refills on drinks took 5-10 minutes sometimes. Price was also up there but seems like most places are that way these days. Maybe I'll give it another try soon and see if it has changed.

I love going to local brewpubs and microbreweries when traveling. So when I saw this location of…read moreBellevue's largest microbrewery, my wife and I had to stop in for an early lunch with a sampling of beers. The food and beers were great. As the name states, the very large brewpub is located in the Spring District, inside the park/greenspace. The district used to be an industrial area, that has been transformed into a mixed residential/retail area, centered around the light rail transit station. The brewery makes great use of the outdoor space, with a lot of seating for an impromptu biergarten on nice days. This Tuesday was a typical March day in Seattle, which meant dining inside was a must. We ended up finding street parking a couple of blocks away, though they do have validated parking: in the underground parking right below (with under 10 dedicated spots) and the bigger Spring district Parking garage nearby. Amanda was our server, and she was super friendly, giving us suggestions. They have a large selection of house brewed beers, and we chose eight of the non-IPA ones as two flights, consisting of 4 5oz glasses (assuming it cost $12). We tried the Harvest Boom P.O.G. Wheat (this was our favorite one), Bothell Brown (liked this one), Snake Charmer Irish Red (strangely very mild for a Red), ChugMeister Mazren Lager (my second favorite). Second flight consisted of 1882 Pre-Prohibition Lager (very crisp and light), Muckle Flugga Scotch Ale (really like Scotch Ale in general, though hard to find on the West Coast...thought this version was OK), Schwarzbier Black Lager (different, very mild, really enjoyed), and a Der Kommissar Pilsner (super light with no body). I don't think I've been able to choose two flights of non-IPA in-house beers before...they keep a very large selection here, and it's worth coming to, just for the draft beers. We ordered some bar food that both of us like, and each plate was excellent. Shareable thick cut fries ($11) was very filling, especially since they were fried very well and were sturdy enough for dipping. Got Scotch Ale Chili ($13) and it was hearty, with plenty of pinto beans and good ground beef, with not too much chili powder. It came with housemade tortilla chips, which were thin and excellent. Wanted to try their beef birria, ordered their birria Nachos ($19) and it was really well prepared. Everything was diced into small pieces, used a really good beer cheese sauce and the the fresh guacamole was solid. For a brewpub, it has excellent bar food. The portions were large...we ended up taking about half of it home. Next time, will stay longer and try some of their main course dishes. The room was modern with plenty of windows for natural light. The central bar is huge, but there are plenty of bar tables as well, letting patrons decide how they want to dine/hang. My only complaint was that the payment process was at the table with only a tablet, and gave me no chance to look at the receipt. The total seemed right and was expecting a chance for receipt, but Amanda grabbed the tablet after my tip and signature before I could ask for a digital receipt, and then disappeared. I suppose I could have tracked her down, but getting a receipt after a meal should not be that hard. Can't remember the last time I was out, and couldn't get a receipt easily...would have made this review a bit easier.

Usually some game is on the TVs, and depending on time of day/week/year the crowd varies. Go visit. Breweries are closing because the younger generation's drinking less. I ordered onions on the side, because it didn't come with any and these onions were packed in a little container and without any spoon, there was any way for me to use it unless I bang it against the counter and it all came piling out at once. These onions did not seem fresh either, since they had no crisp and life to it and so bland that it didn't taste like onions at all. Fries - (2/5) I heard that Dick's fries were soggy and I lowered my expectations and kept an open mind. Sadly, that didn't help with appealing to my taste buds. The fries just seems sad, wilted and oily and just didn't satisfy my craving for some fries. Vanila Milkshake - (3/5) One thing I liked about this shake is that it's not overly sweet and doesn't taste artificial, however, it's very thick and doesn't have that fluffy, refreshing milk taste that I expect. I don't regret coming here and respect the local nostalgia that the locals seem to love here but I wouldn't come back.
