Came in here to grab some merch for my friends birthday. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We ended up staying for a few drinks. Loved the atmosphere and will definitely be back!!

Enjoyed a family night out at Mac and Jack's Brewery. Kids are welcome and enjoy board games and pretzels and have apple juice, while the adults sample the wide range of home brews available. Imagine yourself in your garage with the door open and neighbors over. That's what Mac and Jack's is like. Don't expect fancy, but a friendly staff and pleasant surroundings makes it nice laid back fun.

Very small brewery but the beer is fantastic. They do tours once a week on Saturday's. Get there early to get your spot. You can taste many beers and get a free pint glass on the tour. They typically have a food truck on weekends or you can bring your own food. Growlers to go. Merch. What more could you want?

If you check my first review of this place, you can see that I said I'd come back after August to give them a real go since I was pregnant during my first visit... And I did! We came to the brewery in the middle of the day on a Thursday. The retail shop was wide open and they even had a little makeshift beer garden set up right outside. It was awesome, especially because the weather was suuuper warm. As usual, the staff was super nice and informative. We ended up walking out $93 lighter, but who could blame us? We each got some beers to have there, a six pack of their Summer IPA, and three brand new growlers allll filled up. We each enjoyed two beers (I had the Apricot Wheat and my boyfriend had the Juicy IPA). The Apricot Wheat is phenomenal. Super refreshing and really light, and the apricot taste is definitely there but it's subtle. Probably one of my favorite beers to date! What's really nice is that they are very generous with their samples before you make a decision on what you want. Bottoms up! Did I mention we brought our two month old? It's kid-friendly, woot woot! I think they're dog-friendly as well, which makes this place way easy to visit no matter what you got going on. Do yourself a favor and get here nowwww.

Life is TOO short to drink crappy beer! Mac & Jack's is a nice vacation for my tastebuds!

Despite the YELP information they DO ALLOW & WELCOME DOGS, just not on the brewery tours! The people were friendly, informative, and very accommodating! The location is tucked away in an industrial/automotive repair area but it was quite. The beer... OH THE BEER!!! We enjoyed Several tastings and took home multiple growlers! Keep being awesome!!!

It was my first time touring a brewery. It is not necessary to set an appointment you just need to walk in to the retail store. Two tours are available on Sunday, 1pm and 3pm. Two samples are available before the tour so get a bit early! Tour starts with getting a pint cup! You can try 4 samples during the tour. (So 6 samples total). They explain the history of the brewery and get to see the production line. It was fun experience.

    Flight of tasters!

Great beer, good service. Wish I would have been there on a day with a food truck as that would have completed it.

Ask the Community - Mac & Jack's Brewery

    Are children welcome?

Yes! It has two tables- super loud so it might work for kiddos.

    Any food here?

We currently offer pretzels and occasionally some other light prepackaged snacks, and are in the process of scheduling regular food trucks for Friday, Saturday and potentially Sundays.

I really liked shuffleboard- it's a great social game because it's at table height so easy to set drinks down or gather. They also were thoughtful and put drink holders next to every hole of every game! The whole thing is full of art, places to gather, and thoughtful touches. I feel like they took lessons learned from many other locations and made this one truly *chefs kiss.

What makes it so fun is you can bring three generations of the family and everyone enjoys it. We always play the mini-golf and like playing the Duffleboard too. They also have a little kids mini-golf course for the younger kids. Their thin crust pizza is consistently good. Given that it's a games place we were pleasantly surprised at how good their pizza is. Pro tip: if you love the mini-golf as much as we do their membership it a good deal. You pay once and can mini-golf / Duffleboard for free for life. They often have a Black Friday deal on the membership.

I love going to local brewpubs and microbreweries when traveling. So when I saw this location of…read moreBellevue's largest microbrewery, my wife and I had to stop in for an early lunch with a sampling of beers. The food and beers were great. As the name states, the very large brewpub is located in the Spring District, inside the park/greenspace. The district used to be an industrial area, that has been transformed into a mixed residential/retail area, centered around the light rail transit station. The brewery makes great use of the outdoor space, with a lot of seating for an impromptu biergarten on nice days. This Tuesday was a typical March day in Seattle, which meant dining inside was a must. We ended up finding street parking a couple of blocks away, though they do have validated parking: in the underground parking right below (with under 10 dedicated spots) and the bigger Spring district Parking garage nearby. Amanda was our server, and she was super friendly, giving us suggestions. They have a large selection of house brewed beers, and we chose eight of the non-IPA ones as two flights, consisting of 4 5oz glasses (assuming it cost $12). We tried the Harvest Boom P.O.G. Wheat (this was our favorite one), Bothell Brown (liked this one), Snake Charmer Irish Red (strangely very mild for a Red), ChugMeister Mazren Lager (my second favorite). Second flight consisted of 1882 Pre-Prohibition Lager (very crisp and light), Muckle Flugga Scotch Ale (really like Scotch Ale in general, though hard to find on the West Coast...thought this version was OK), Schwarzbier Black Lager (different, very mild, really enjoyed), and a Der Kommissar Pilsner (super light with no body). I don't think I've been able to choose two flights of non-IPA in-house beers before...they keep a very large selection here, and it's worth coming to, just for the draft beers. We ordered some bar food that both of us like, and each plate was excellent. Shareable thick cut fries ($11) was very filling, especially since they were fried very well and were sturdy enough for dipping. Got Scotch Ale Chili ($13) and it was hearty, with plenty of pinto beans and good ground beef, with not too much chili powder. It came with housemade tortilla chips, which were thin and excellent. Wanted to try their beef birria, ordered their birria Nachos ($19) and it was really well prepared. Everything was diced into small pieces, used a really good beer cheese sauce and the the fresh guacamole was solid. For a brewpub, it has excellent bar food. The portions were large...we ended up taking about half of it home. Next time, will stay longer and try some of their main course dishes. The room was modern with plenty of windows for natural light. The central bar is huge, but there are plenty of bar tables as well, letting patrons decide how they want to dine/hang. My only complaint was that the payment process was at the table with only a tablet, and gave me no chance to look at the receipt. The total seemed right and was expecting a chance for receipt, but Amanda grabbed the tablet after my tip and signature before I could ask for a digital receipt, and then disappeared. I suppose I could have tracked her down, but getting a receipt after a meal should not be that hard. Can't remember the last time I was out, and couldn't get a receipt easily...would have made this review a bit easier.

This is definitely my favorite eastside brewery - if not Seattle area brewery in general. Not sure…read morehow I haven't posted a review before!? I'm not a huge IPA fan, but they always have something malty or lager-like on the menu, too. Food is, IMHO, solid. Burgers are good, the fish and chips can be greasy but are usually quite good. Wife seems to like the chili and gluten-free pizzas. Staff are always awesome characters with a (fun, good) personality. Usually some game is on the TVs, and depending on time of day/week/year the crowd varies. Go visit. Breweries are closing because the younger generation's drinking less. You don't have to drink a ton, just support a local place with good food, vibe, and drinks (there's plenty of NA things).
