Receipt for their "half priced" Tuesday Cheeseburger
    Shawn N.

A friend told me that 7th Street Pub, in north Everett, WA, offers half-priced "Classic" Burgers on Tuesdays, so I decided to give it a try. On the receipt, it says, "Madison Avenue Pub". I thought that was weird. I only had a few minutes to grab something to eat, so I called ahead and ordered a cheeseburger to go. Melissa answered the phone. I let her know it was my first time ordering, subbed fries for potato salad, and asked for extra mayo. She confirmed the burger was half-price. Great! I arrived just six minutes later. No one greeted me or acknowledged me when I walked in. I made my way to the bar where the cooks were working right beside it. One cook caught my eye. I smiled and waved, but she didn't respond. Not her job, I guess, but still a bit off-putting. The kitchen is very small, so it looks like they use part of the bar to prep and pack to-go orders. Therefore, I moved to the other end of the bar, hoping someone would notice me. It was close to noontime and the place was definitely hopping. A group of people walked in after me and seated themselves, which clued me in that this wasn't a "wait to be seated" place. A server did notice them, and as she grabbed menus for their table, I asked where to pick up a to-go order. She quickly grabbed my bag from behind the bar. When she told me the total, it sounded close to the full price of a burger. (Old menu photos on Yelp show burgers being way cheaper than 2025 prices. My half price Classic Cheese Burger shows $7.97; which makes full price $15.94). I mentioned the Tuesday deal, and she said yes, it's half-price but there's a $2 to-go fee and a $0.50 upcharge for extra mayo--none of which Melissa mentioned on the phone. I told her that had I known these hidden fees, I might've made other choices. The server apologized, but it was too late. As for the food: The burger was big and the toppings were fresh, packaged separately in a ziplock bag. Unfortunately, the hamburger itself had chewy, gristly bits that made it unpleasant. The bun was soft, had a lot of butter to grill. The potato salad was store-bought and tasted like the sweet kind from Costco; not my favorite. The extra mayo I paid $0.50 for came in a generous side container, but since it wasn't on the burger, all but one knife-full went to waste. I appreciated that they included a fork and knife without me asking. Even though the experience was disappointing, I still tipped 20% for a to-go order. But between the lack of communication, hidden fees, and underwhelming food, I won't be returning.

I have been here half a dozen times and have gotten great service every time. The bartenders are friendly and serve great drinks. Food has always been fantastic. Atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. Very comfortable chairs for a public establishment, They also have good spacing between tables so you aren't sitting on top of each other. The latest visit had be get a burger dip, which didn't disappoint. parking on site.

My wife and I stopped into 7th Pub for a quick lunch while in North Everett. We were pleasantly surprised to find out the owner is the same as Madison Ave Pub in Everett. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. There is a $1 charge for to-go orders and a $3 charge for split plates. Ridiculous. Happy Hour is offered Mon-Fri from 3pm-6pm. A nice selection of craft beer is available on draft. There is some hard alcohol; not much though. Wine is also available. Indoors is open and can easily accommodate a large group. There are a few TV's throughout. Pull tabs can be purchased for those who like to play. During our visit my wife and I had a pounder of Manny's and Bodhi for $5.75 each. For our meals, my wife chose the Chicken Strip appetizer for $10.95 and I chose the Ham & Swiss Melt for $13.95 + $1.25 up-charge for tots. Our meals were standard. Service was friendly. If we lived closer I'm sure we would drop into 7th often. After learning that 7th and Madison (exact same menu's) were owned by the same person, it was hard not to compare the two. Madison by far outshines 7th.

Was shocked at the prices of the food. I mean $18 for a cheese burger that's ridiculous, plus the rude waitress won't be back

Service is great, food is great, and we've been coming back pretty regularly since we first went. The chive tv videos are a hilarious plus.

Typical dive bar in many ways but really good food and the service was exceptional. Cheap burgers on Tuesday and the tots--yum!

I can say we were all pretty disappointed in this place. The staff was the only positive that we took away from this experience. Both servers that we encountered were both kind and attentive. The drinks and food however totally missed the marks. We all started off with drinks 2 margaritas, a gin gimlet and a beer between the four of us. The margaritas were terrible, like I am not sure how they put them as a feature drink. They had zero jalapeños and also offered no spicy margarita whatsoever. My wife's gin gimlet tasted like straight up lime juice. All were complete misses. Next we moved on to the food where each couple ordered a dozen wings. The X's and O's( fries and onion rings) and we also ordered a wedge salad. The wedge salad came out and idk how it was marketed as wedge when it was a bowl of salad completely engulfed in dressing(closer to soup than salad). Next the fries and onion rings came out and I'm not usually a stickler for what things cost, but $17 for like 6 onion rings and a very sad plate of fries. We expected a bit more for what we ordered for the table. Lastly the wings. While the flavoring of the wings were good, they came out not too warm to the touch and biting into them they were cold on the inside. Concerned that we may get sick from uncooked meat they assured us that they were precooked and just dropped into the fryer to finish them off. To me it is concerning that though they were precooked and still missed on hearing them all way, you may need to have a chat with your kitchen. Both of the servers were on top of it and ran both dozens back to have our order recooked. Second time around they were hot and crispy with good flavor(although the garlic boom boom wings were missing one of the sauces the second time around). It didn't matter, we ate them and paid. Not sure we will put this on our revisit list. Maybe the burgers or flatbread were the way to go, but out of 3 menu items and even the drinks.... There needs to be much more effort to everything here...

In long This place has been a regular stop for all kinds of folks for quite a while. They're famous for this pizza, and it really is pretty good. I stopped by, finally, on a Sunday afternoon to watch some football and see what the place is about. You can park right on 99 or out back; there's a sneaky back door that gets you in from the back lot. You zigzag between pool tables when you come in, and there are flatscreens all over if you want to watch the game. There are highboys, counters, and bar seating, but not too many chairs where you put your feet on the floor. At the bar, they have tons of pull tabs, a few taps, and a full selection of basic liquor choices. I had a couple whiskies. After a while, I checked out The Bomb, which is a good pizza. Very earthy umami flavors with all the artichoke hearts, and kind of a plain white-flour chewy crust. I filled the TouchTunes bin with tons of credits, and got to watch all kinds of football highlights with tunes I like playing. I was out the door for a few drinks and a medium pizza for $70. Not too bad these days. Unfortunately, the bartender "forgot" to bring me back my credit card, then explained she didn't think I gave her one 'cause I had a tab (they don't take your card when you open a tab, just your name), then said she forgot, then thanked me profusely for reminding her to grab it. She wasn't that busy, and I was sitting 6 feet from the card reader. The extra thanks seemed like play-acting. Nothing bad happened, but that's kind of a bummer. I'd still come back but I'll let someone else who wants to check it out talk me into it.
