Clean. Quiet.

$7 a beer in a dive bar. Hmmm... It seems happy hour gets the crowd in. The boys from Boeing started showing up around 5. This place got a recent overhaul and that's a good thing. Free parking. Great mac cheese bites.

My wife and I stopped into Fireplace for a late lunch (2pm) and slurps. We were advised that the fat fryers do not get turned on until later in the evening (depending on the crowd size). I would have given 4 stars had we been able to order food. We were starving. Free parking can be found on the street. Discover is an accepted form of payment. As far as dive bars go, Fireplace is hands down the cleanest I have ever been to. Impressive. Fireplace offers a full bar, a nice outdoor seating area, a pool table, jukebox, pull tabs, darts and TV. My wife had a pounder of Manny's and I had a pounder of Space Dust IPA for $5.25 each. We each also had a schooner for $3.75 each. I appreciated that I was able to get a smaller beer serving since I hadn't eaten yet. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the Fireplace. Overall, we would both return to the Fireplace during later hours with the hope of ordering some beer-grub food to go alongside our frosty beers.

Deep fried pickles and wings, a little overdone

First visit and we will probably be back. Nice little neighborhood bar with friendly people. Has a pool Table and a couple of dart boards. Some old school video games and even a pinball machine. Some food but all fried and the place has that old deep fryer smell.

Nice and dark for a romantic date. Excellent songs on the jukebox that make your date extra special. Good beer. Good prices.

Nice atmosphere as long as you don't sit at the bar and listen to the bartender talk shit about the customers.

Beer was ice cold, great selection of alcohol, and beer on tap. Menu was really unique, but I…read morewasn't feeling crazy enough to try the Nutella burger that night. The mushroom and Swiss was everything I expected (perfect). Friends ordered the Italian sandwich and the mango bango and had nothing but great things to say about their food. Wait staff was good for it being a busy night. Awesome spot for food.

If you're looking for a bar with bar food and not very good drinks I have the place. Pretty plain…read morevibe and bar look to it, nothing special. I can say we were all pretty disappointed in this place. The staff was the only positive that we took away from this experience. Both servers that we encountered were both kind and attentive. The drinks and food however totally missed the marks. We all started off with drinks 2 margaritas, a gin gimlet and a beer between the four of us. The margaritas were terrible, like I am not sure how they put them as a feature drink. They had zero jalapeños and also offered no spicy margarita whatsoever. My wife's gin gimlet tasted like straight up lime juice. All were complete misses. Next we moved on to the food where each couple ordered a dozen wings. The X's and O's( fries and onion rings) and we also ordered a wedge salad. The wedge salad came out and idk how it was marketed as wedge when it was a bowl of salad completely engulfed in dressing(closer to soup than salad). Next the fries and onion rings came out and I'm not usually a stickler for what things cost, but $17 for like 6 onion rings and a very sad plate of fries. We expected a bit more for what we ordered for the table. Lastly the wings. While the flavoring of the wings were good, they came out not too warm to the touch and biting into them they were cold on the inside. Concerned that we may get sick from uncooked meat they assured us that they were precooked and just dropped into the fryer to finish them off. To me it is concerning that though they were precooked and still missed on hearing them all way, you may need to have a chat with your kitchen. Both of the servers were on top of it and ran both dozens back to have our order recooked. Second time around they were hot and crispy with good flavor(although the garlic boom boom wings were missing one of the sauces the second time around). It didn't matter, we ate them and paid. Not sure we will put this on our revisit list. Maybe the burgers or flatbread were the way to go, but out of 3 menu items and even the drinks.... There needs to be much more effort to everything here...

Every time I come to Everett, I find something new to enjoy!…read moreThe Colby Club is my latest find. The revitalizing Everett downtown offers an increasingly impressive selection of restaurant and drinking choices. The Colby Club is one of the best. Presented as a "Speakeasy ", it is not in any way hidden away, but strives for the '20s vibe, with period furniture and decor. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Our Bartender, Mark, was exceptional! Watching him craft our cocktails was a show in itself! Delicious cocktails well crafted and presented. We're looking forward to our next visit!

Omg, okay so Friday night date night, first Friday of the month, which apparently matters (more on…read morethat later). We roll up to the Colby Club in Everett, and honestly? I thought it was closed. It's dark outside, no sign glowing, kinda mysterious in a "do we knock or...?" way. But we slide in and BAM... disco lights, disco jams, and staff dressed straight out of the '70s. I was instantly vibing. We snagged a table facing the crowd because obviously I live for good people watching. Our waitress, adorable and super sweet, suggested I try the Lavender Flip, and holy moly it was amazing. Like floral, creamy, cozy perfection in a glass. Hubby got some cucumber-whiskey thing that looked so fancy I had to steal a sip (and yes, it was as good as it looked). Food-wise, we split... he got the charcuterie board (solid) and I got the bacon-wrapped dates, which were basically tiny bites of happiness. Just enough to snack on without ruining the drinks. The whole vibe? Chef's kiss. My husband actually said, "This is my perfect place," and he's not wrong. Chill lighting, funky crowd, killer playlist, and that sweet spot between classy and relaxed. Only hiccup, it took forever to get our check, but to be fair, it was packed and our waitress apologized about a dozen times. Then I find out Everett does some big "First Friday" thing every month, and Colby Club goes all in. Disco night and all-night happy hour. Like, what?! Unreal. Definitely coming back on a regular night too, just to see what the "normal" vibe is like (if it's ever normal). 10/10 for date night energy, people watching, and cocktails that make you wanna dance under a disco ball.

I never really knew about this bar until now!…read more Cheap drinks, good bar food, billiards and an outside patio area with cornhole! It's pretty well known around the area and honestly, for 2 meals and 2 drinks was $44 even that I had spent. I LOVED their "build your own sampler" and you choose 4 from their list. I got the chicken gizzards, fried pickles, jojo's and mini tacos! Pretty good and pretty filling! Good variety too, including oysters and chips and seafood, along with chicken sandwiches and burgers. You order at the counter and they make the drinks right there and give you a number. Not a bad place to hang, and the staff, at least the ladies we interacted with are really nice!

From the…read moremoment we got to the bar, she was rude, dismissive, and acted as though customers were an inconvenience. My daughter, whom had already purchased a mixed drink, went up for me and asked what beer she had on tap for a pitcher and she hollers "IDK go look" and waves my daughter away, despite the bar not being particularly busy, any simple requests were met with eye rolls, attitude and aggressive gestures. What should have been an enjoyable night as my fiancé and I were visiting from the east coast with about 15 of my daughter and her gfs (who lives there and frequented this bar prior) closest friends, turned into a pitiful mess of an experience thanks to her immensely unprofessional behavior. Hospitality requires basic courtesy, and conflicts require resolution unfortunately that was completely absent. Along with deescalation skills provided by some lady claiming to be interim manager. After saying several times we wanted to resolve the conflict it was clear they don't know what that means. If customer service matters to you, I would think twice before returning while this bartender is behind the bar because she'll apologize to everyone BUT the person she was rude to. Forget a rotten tomato, I've gotten better customer service from a parking meter.
