It was really cool of Tony V's to have the cascade high school students experience their first gig there. The only money collected at the door, went to the school music program. We got there about half an hour early to try and get lunch before the performance started, but it took a while for the food to show up. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the double bacon cheeseburger was. Also, they had an option of waffle fries, or hand cut fries. The hand cut fries were awesome. The others had a breakfast burrito that actually was too small burritos and hashbrowns. Unfortunately when they brought that out, they didn't bring any silverware so he didn't eat the hashbrowns. We've visited Tony V's quite a few times--Tuesday Burger Special, before and after events at the Arena, birthday parties, bar hopping, and just recently for an event after the Silvertips game. It's probably the best venue for the type of live events they offer! There's plenty of seating, the bartenders are quick with your drinks, and the security staff does a great job! Absolutely love this place! The bathrooms are an experience, there are good pool tables, decent bar food, and a variety of live events throughout the month! Honestly, there's not another place in the area like Tony V's, and by the crowds, you can tell other people absolutely love it too! I'll always keep coming back! read more

Hours posted are not always consistent. My wife and I stopped into Tony V's for a slurp and light bite after work. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Tony V's is a live entertainment venue so indoors is extremely sparse; 21+ only. There are a couple pool tables for those that enjoy shooting pool. Tony V's offers a full bar. During our visit, orders were placed and paid for at the bar. I slurped on a Bodhi for $6.50. We shared a basket of Cheese Sticks for $7.50. I wanted to like Tony V's more than I actually did. Bar staff was on the rude side. The bar itself is unkempt. The appetizer we tried was standard frozen food that just about everywhere serves and that everyone loves. Overall, I intend to give Tony V's a second chance with the hopes that one of their burgers served by a friendly staff member can redeem the bad first impression. read more

I considered just leaving this whole thing alone but I think it's important that performing and working artists understand what Tony vs is actually like - I saw their true colors and frankly if you're black I would stay far far away from this place. I'm a concert photographer and was invited to photograph their headliner one evening, I've photographed at this venue before so initially I was very pleased to come back. I wandered backstage on the permission of a working staff member as well as the performing artists themselves. Security very aggressively yanked me backwards (I don't like unnecessarily having hands put on me as every human being does so I'm confused as to why that seemed to be his practice. I've never been physically accosted by a venue security in my life up until now). I explained that I was hired to do a job, and if I was able to verify with the performing artist my credentials. This man looked at my camera, my wrist band, looked back at my face and then proceeded to ask "what are you here trying to do?" I explained to him - a working venue professional who has apparently seen plenty of concerts at this establishment before - 3x that I was here to photograph. I'm not an idiot he was being petty out of spite and frankly I have no idea why. He agreed to allow the artist to verify my credentials saying "I'll need to be right there to hear it" to which I agreed. We proceeded to walk back to the stage curtain where I waited for the artist. They came through, we chatted, I proceeded to walk back toward the stage with them only to be physically accosted by security again. He insisted he "didn't hear or see anything" although he was directly behind us. I've dealt with immaturity in grown men before and I know when to pick my battles. I left the situation and I continued to just photograph front of house. Security was closely following me around the venue for the duration of my time there to make sure I didn't attempt to go back stage again. I began to feel extremely uncomfortable with security's hypervigilance toward me. Mind you I'm a 5'4 black woman with nothing but a camera and my wallet on me - I'm still confused as to why this man just loathed my existence from the beginning I don't know. I left the set as soon as I got the photos my client needed because he was making me upset. The following day I called to voice my upset. The woman on the phone snarkily implied that I was only complaining because the security officer was black - not realizing I am a black woman myself. I decided to speak with no one else until I could speak to the manager. It took days to get a call back, to which the owner himself gave me a call. He demanded that "we're not going to make this about race" because he's worked with "all types of people". Which sounds a lot like the 'I don't see color' trope to me. He also insisted that he had no idea what I expected him to do. He interrupted me while I was speaking, he was aggressive and unapologetic. He insisted he had no record of my credentials or that I had ever photographed there before (@thehomelandobscuritydept Instagram for reference. YES I HAVE. TWICE NOW??) Black women especially - avoid this place with your life. it's a hole and they'll somehow treat you like a Karen if they think you're white and immediately ABW you once they realize you're black? How these white people even pulled a circus like the one they pulled on me also at the expense of their black employee...I don't know but uhm, yeah. They're a mess and I have no hesitation telling my current and future clients exactly why I have my reservations about ever working at Tony V's Garage again. read more

The bartenders are sweet as pie. Bouncers and security are super chill and welcoming. Regulars are pretty eclectic. The art all over the place is really punk and inspired. Only downside is the bathroom. 2 stalls, one is missing a door. But if you've got a friend, you've got a door! Really takes me back to the 90's. read more

There should be more places like this in the world. Although if there were, I'd probably weigh 20 lbs more, be drunk all day long, and probably be deaf on top of it. 33% of that doesn't sound too bad. I'd never been to Tony V's before last night, and I came to see The Triple Sixes and Dreadful Children play. I wasn't sure what to expect, because I've worked at a few bars in Everett doing promotions, and they are a total crapshoot. Luckily, I was in for a good time. The venue is great-- plenty of bar seating and open floor space to mosh, mill about, or dance. The sound is really good. Bar service was okay and drinks were strong. The food is amazing! I'm not sure how they do it with just one staff member and Tony in the kitchen AND running sound, but it gets done, and very well. The food is really, really cheap too. Seriously-- come here hungry. The one detriment to the evening? I managed to lock my keys in my car. Lucky for me, Tony V himself came out and saved the day. Jack of all trades, that guy! Holy S#%& holes. This place absolutely bites. Little snot nosed bartenders know zero about being nice. Not even a courtesy hello, your welcome or thanks. Two bartenders on a Friday night? Really? Then one of em went out to do some blow and left the other one there by herself. Food took forever and was cafeteria quality at best. The first three things I ordered off the menu they were out of. The bartender said the cook, one cook, was so in the weeds they stopped taking orders. Everyone who came in and stood next to us at the bar ended up giving us that look like " really? is it really taking this long to get a drink?" AND the sound? OMFG the worst sound I've ever heard in a venue. Fire the sound man at best. The best thing about this place was leaving. No idea how this place gets 4 stars . This is a metal and punk club--if that's your thing, then understand that it's well run. But if it's not, and you're just looking for a quick one before the Tips game or something, you might want to look elsewhere if it's crowded. Tony V's does a great job at putting metal and punk bands on stage in an environment where people can dance and enjoy the show. You walk in right past the stage and there's a long, narrow space past that. Essentially, the whole room is the live room. There's a long bar along one side, where you can get beer and the rest of it. They don't do anything fancy here, they exist primarily to put bands on. The sound is good, and the vibe is welcoming for all sort of metal and punk fans. I'll definitely be back anytime somebody I want to check out is playing. read more

My girlfriend and I went here for New Years Eve and had a blast!! The bands were good if you like 70s music and the performances were definitely not boring. The bar staff was awesome and the host took the time to interact with all his guests. Definitely worth ringing in the New Year there!! Prices were inline with other venues and the vibe is definitely more "grown up". Not a fancy place by any stretch but definitely a fun place to go. Something that makes this Saloon stand out in Everett on Hewitt Ave is that it is a change from the just-turned 21 crowds at the other places. I do NOT frequent bars, however, the soul of this place is dead-on for having bands play, a bit of food which Tony(Owner-prepares) and the overall look. We went to several places on Hoe-It Ave in Everett....and this was by far the best spot to go have a pitcher or two. Unlike the Soundview and some other places in Everett, you do not need to be bothered with people smoking crack behind the place. My rating is based on the service, the type of people, and it being a Saloon in Everett! Came by on a Thursday night for football and a post-game stage show. Clean, friendly, well-lit, pinball games, pool tables, and multiple TVs. The food is really good and well priced. I had the salt-and-pepper wings. No sauce is needed (although they have them). I mean, wings are fried chicken, but these tasted like crispy, well-seasoned fried chicken. They soak them in buttermilk overnight. Another hit were the pulled pork tacos. I heard various people in the bar talking about how good they were (both in price and taste). Only reason I gave four stars is because the mixed drinks were a buck or two more than I'm used to paying (albeit I don't know the median prices for Everett so they may be on par) and the men's room, which was clean, had a chain-link fence with weaving for a toilet stall, but no door so anyone walking in can see you doing your business. read more

We went to a concert on Saturday 4/3/21. I can't tell you how happy I am to see Tony V's has re-opened! The staff did such a good job with safety protocols. They ID'd us all for traceability and ensured anytime we were up and that we had our masks on. The staff did a great job enforcing the wearing of masks, while doing their usual great job of keeping the drinks flowing and bussing tables. The is plenty of nearby parking and places to eat. We enjoyed margaritas at Mazaltan's and then enjoyed dinner at J & L BBQ. Both places are within walking distance of Tony V's (which also has food) and both places had great service and were keeping us safe following all the safety protocols. read more

I've only been here for lunch, the night crowd would see me coming a mile away and roll me for my cash. I go there occasionally with a guy from the office, we grab a burger and tots and play pool. First time I went there this old guy was watching music videos, 10 minutes in turns and says, "Don't eat the tots, they never change the fry oil and it'll give you the runs!" That was after I ate the tots. I went back to the office to work, anticipating the gastric explosion coming my way. Thankfully, either by the grace of God or an iron digestive system I had no issues. We love this place. I have been coming for 20 years now. It's great if you know exactly what your getting. Lately though we have been going in during the day and have noticed that this is a public restroom for everyone. They duck in the door and go to the bathroom when nobody is paying attention. While playing some pinball at least 7 people snuck in and out just using the bathroom, which made my drink and belongings feel unsafe. I wish they either had better door moderating or key pads on their bathroom doors. read more

I generally go to Tony V's specifically to play their pinball machine Monster Bash! The drinks are a little pricey especially if you use a card. However, hard to argue when staff is always very nice and professional. They are VERY efficient in checking IDs before serving customers. Some newer patrons may find it annoying but, working in the industry, I can appreciate following the protocol. This week I came by to enjoy live music for the 2017 Fisherman's Village Music Festival! Great time. We just started checking out the local scene and hit here, Whammy and Anchor Pub. This was the best we found locally. It was Sunday evening so there was only about 8 to 10 people out. We didnt get to try the chow, but had a good time BSing with Niki at the bar about tattoos, places to go, and the general area. She was very accommodating despite the ridiculous amounts of booze I drank. DEC 2009 Finally moved to the area and routinely swing by for late night burgers and poppers. The food is cheap, fast and good. The bands are hit or miss but the atmosphere remains pretty casual. Probably the best local bar in the area with live shows. read more

This is a fun dive bar with pretty good bar food. I really enjoy the cheeseburgers and the drinks are cheap. They have a fun open mic on mondays as well. The service is slow and they spend a lot of time visiting even if there is obviously people waiting for drinks or to place a food order. They are however up front about their service even going as far as placing a sign up telling you they are slow. They need more wait staff when having live music. The place was packed and no one was waiting on anyone. You had to wait in line a half hour to almost 45 minutes to get a drink. There was actually two lines to get up to the bar for a drink. They could have actually made a lot more money had the had the floor staffed and waiting on tables. The band that was playing was awesome which is what drew me there in the first place. But it was a $20 cover charge...then they only played from 9 pm until before midnight and took a 40 minute break to boot!! Felt like it was kind of a rip off. The best thing about it was being with my friends that I haven't seen for 30 yrs. I think it needs to be more professionally run. They also need to update the bathrooms. You can't get in and out of the women's restroom without banging someone with the door. Kind of weird. The owner was there...knew who jam packed it was. He should have taken the initiative to step in and serve his patrons. I see someone else's comments on here about horrible bartenders. I will say, I was in one day to check out tickets, etc. for the event I was going to and they acted like you were a pain in the ass. I get that young kids these days seem to have attitudes...but man! don't live up to that reputation. Be nice...after all...it's the patrons that are paying your wages.
