My partner got the avocado omelette, it came with toast and hash browns. We were surprised by how fluffy and soft the toast was, definitely the best toast we've had at any breakfast spot. He said the omelette was tasty too. We also grabbed some coffee and pastries before we left. I had a spicy German sausage and a chocolate bar, my partner got an apple fritter and an apple pull apart. I had the chocolate bar later after our hike. It was sweet and fluffy, not too heavy since I had it with coffee. Then I had the German sausage for dinner. The sausage was actually spicy, not just a mild black pepper kind of American European spicy, but a real deal spicy. I loved it! Staffs in the bakery were very friendly and attentive too. I'm glad I got to support such a lovely local business. This place is a solid one.

My son aborted after one bite, and my daughter ate two of three pieces. When gathering our plates, the server asked if we wanted to take my son's home. I casually mentioned that they were too tough for him - I wasn't complaining and certainly didn't need a handout. I did ask to take half of my sandwich home, and she was thoughtful enough to pack me some new au jus! What a nice touch. So, for my birthday, I ordered the peanut butter pie which I don't see on many menus but I love because it reminds me of a restaurant I used to go to as a kid. IT WAS DELICIOUS! And, they were kind enough to fancy it up with some birthday decorations. To my surprise, at the end of our meal, a super friendly and warm gentleman (who may have been the manager - he was the first to greet us on arrival) let me know that he comped the chicken strips! Every single staff member there looked happy, were welcoming and kind. The service here is top tier. I will absolutely be back.
