I've avoided checking out Spada for literally YEARS because I thought they only brewed farmhouse-style beers (which I'm not a fan of); but recently we were at a nearby nursery in Snohomish and asked the owner for a lunch recommendation, and he highly recommended Spada. He also assured me they have all types of beers. So, we headed on over! The dude got a hazy IPA and I ordered their crisp blonde ale. Both were served cold and tasted so good on a hot day. We also split a delish chicken caprese sandwich and a caesar salad. All of the food was fresh and tasty; though the "crumb style" croutons on the caesar were not appealing to me texturally. What can I say? I like a big crouton! The service was super friendly and efficient for 95% of the meal. At the end, though, we had trouble getting our check. Not a huge deal, but seemed odd considering the service was so amazing for the rest of the experience. Note: parking here is sparse. We had to park a few blocks away; though later I noticed there's a pay lot just up the street. read more

We arrived at 1:45 p.m. and placed our order--four salads and two children's meals--by 2:00 p.m. By 2:50 p.m., no food had been served, and it became apparent that our order had not been submitted to the kitchen. While we understand that delays can occur, it was frustrating to observe other parties who arrived after us being served promptly. We ultimately chose to leave, as our children had been waiting nearly an hour without food. The drinks were kindly comped, which we appreciated, but it did little to offset the overall experience. Used to frequent this location as a young 20 something but happy to see it turned into a delicious family friendly restaurant. We came in a couple times last week. The salads, chicken sandwich and burgers/fries were great. Had an espresso martini one time and a wine flight the next. The menu has a little something for everyone and the prices were in line with everywhere else. We had really good service the first time and kind of slow service the second time (while watching our server on her phone hanging out). Other than that this place is a win and we will be back to try more of the menu soon. There were a ton of kids both times so if that's not your jam, I'd try somewhere else. read more

Haven't been here in a couple of years. First time was ok, however at the time I just got an appetizer and beer, easy but I do remember service was insanely slow. Tried it again today, food is awful. Just awful. No flavor at all. My chicken for my rice dish was clearly boiled, thankfully there were only a couple of pieces, I stopped eating the chicken, and couldn't finish my dish. This place has such a great atmosphere, but we did not like the food or service. We will not be returning. When we got to the hostess table, I greeted her and she completely ignored me. She acted like she didn't hear me until she was ready to talk to me. Our server was also unfriendly. After we ordered our food, our server didn't come to check on us at all. We were very happy with our experience. We had a large group, including 2 small children, so we made reservations and it was all ready for us. It is a perfect place for families, very casual and warm. The food and service were excellent, with a good kids menu (the mac and cheese is incredible for adults too!) and the price point for a big group was very reasonable. Had the smash burger. Definitely changed the recipe or the actual hamburger. Not a traditional smash burger any longer. The burger patty's weren't bad but just more like a traditional hamburger. We left the dish with hard solid hunks of cheese sitting in fries and gravy, not appetizing. My girlfriend and I stopped into Spada after shopping the farmer's market. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Spada offers outdoor, bar and family seating. Dogs are welcome outdoors. Spada serves their own crafted beer as well wine and a full bar for those who prefer cocktails. The food menu is small but well-rounded with choices sure to please everyone: appetizers, salads, bar food, dessert and kid's menu. During my visit, I slurped on a couple pint of Woods Creek IPA for $6 and a schooner (10oz) for $5. For my meal, I chose the Bruschetta for $16. Delicious and light on a warm summer evening. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, Spada is a trendy brewery. Beer prices are standard. Food prices are on the high side. I look forward to returning to Spada to try different beer profiles and menu items. read more

Very nice place, atmosphere inside was relaxing with plenty of space between tables, food was good, service was excellent. I had the sliders and next time I'd request they not be so well done, other than that, I'd definitely go back and next time probably try the poutine! Come for the beer, not for the food. We learned about Spada Farmhouse Brewery as we were volunteering at Kla Ha Ya Days, which is a community celebration in the city of Snohomish. We were at a park across the street from Spada Farmhouse Brewery and learned from the locals that this was a newish spot that was popular, so we decided to check it out for lunch. We wanted to sit outside as we had our dog with us, and were able to do that on a late afternoon on a Saturday. However, soon after we arrived, the place became super busy and all of the tables were occupied on the patio and mostly inside. Spada is popular, like the locals said! The food and beer menu aren't large, but there were enough options to choose from. My partner and I shared a flight of four four-ounce beers for $10 and we both had a burger. The drinks and food didn't take long to get, and the beers were definitely better than the food. Beer was solid, and that's really why you should visit Spada Farmhouse Brewery anyway since that's what it specializes in. They also had a lot of saisons and sours, which is hardly the case at most breweries, so my partner was a fan. I had two IPAs, a blonde ale and a guest blueberry cider, which all had something to offer. The food however was mediocre. On the menu the burger reads as wagyu beef, which is why my partner and I ordered the burger. When the server asked us how we wanted it prepared we both ordered it medium rare, but when we got our plates, there was absolutely no red at all. In fact, the beef was dry and did not taste like wagyu. Perhaps since it was so overcooked it was hard to taste the quality and juiciness that wagyu usually offers; therefore, you could not taste that with these burgers. That was the biggest complaint of our food. I will say though, the hand-cut fries were good. I like that they don't use standard fries from a bag. But if you want to substitute fries, it'll cost you an upcharge of $5 for a different side. And our burgers were nearly $20 already. Damn. All in all, Spada has a great space and atmosphere, with a dog-friendly patio in downtown Snohomish. I can see why peeps would have a good time here over beers. But I suggest eating elsewhere, especially with the many options around town. read more

We've been here a couple times. I wanted to love it more, cause it has a great atmosphere, lots of open space, friendly staff. I have a hard time when a restaurant doesn't give large protein portions on a salad or sandwich. I've been twice and ordered two different salads. Not huge protein portions. My most recent visit I ordered a Ceasar salad with chicken. Great dressing and I loved the kale/romaine lettuce combo. Good crouton-to-lettuce ratio. There just wasn't enough chicken. Hubs ordered a Chicken Brie sandwich and the chicken looked like it was pounded pretty thin. Pretty small protein portion. If you picture a big thick chicken breast - think again. The fries are delicious! That was a plus. My DIL ordered the chili with jalapeño cornbread. She was really looking forward to trying it. It came with a small piece of French bread. Wanted to try something different that we had not before in Snohomish. Spada is down further on first and around the corner. Amazing vibes, great service, tons of beer on tap, two ciders on tap and a full bar. What more could you want on a Sunny Sunday? They do have outdoor seating so you can bring your dog. Kid friendly as well. I had one of the ciders on tap and it was fantastic. All the beer is in house brewed and the one that my partner had, he said was great. We just ordered apps but the size of those apps was HUGE. The hot honey chicken is so amazing. The bredading used is hands down some of the best that I have had. Could not pass up the poutine either. Only complaint with that dish, I wish the gravy they used had been just a tad thicker, otherwise, delicious dish. Service was great. I've really wanted to like Spada but each of the three times I've given them a go, the service was not great. They run out of things - tonight it was ketchup and tater tots. We had hungry kids in our group that were getting cranky and the food took forever to come out. When it finally arrived, it was lukewarm and light on the sauce. It's not inedible, but not worth the wait. Our water glasses sat empty for a while before getting refilled. The music was so loud when we first got there that it was difficult to hear anything. What happened to this place? We used to love it, but the service is absolutely awful now and the food quality has tanked as well. If you want to feel invisible, go to Spada. We had one notably awful dining experience a few months ago, with Meara as our server. We couldn't get her to smile once, nor utter a kind word or even check on us. It felt like we were bothering her just by being there. We get that everyone has a bad day sometimes, so we did our best to enjoy ourselves. Fast forward to a few weeks later when we tried to go back for our 10-year wedding anniversary. We were met at the door by this same server, hosting on this night. We got the same nasty attitude and made a quick exit, not at all interested in a repeat performance on our anniversary. It's too bad that this place can't get it together. read more

I like the open concept of this brewery. It's casual and family friendly. The only downside is the noise level and not being able to converse much. Other than that, we had a great experience and our server was so friendly & welcoming. We even had my two year old daughter with us and I felt comfortable having her walk around without being a disturbance. The food is delicious and appropriately priced. I ordered the brussels & sliders. The sliders were one of the best I've ever had. Patties were thick and perfectly grilled to a medium (some pink on the inside). I'd definitely order them again. The brussel sprouts were just okay. I wish they were more crispy for being fried. Kind of tasted like a salad with the sauce it was tossed in. Plenty of brussels though for $10. We'd been wanting to check this place out, and yesterday (post election) felt like a great time to eat our feelings . I went there with my family after a run event, There were four adults and two children in our group. The children are 18 months and 10 years old. We placed our order with a pleasant waitress, got our drinks and waited for 45 minutes before the waitress came to us saying that they would not charge us for our first round of drinks because we had waited so long and the food would follow shortly. By this point my grandchildren were hungry and tired. When we asked when the food would come the waitress said another 15 to 29 minutes. We asked if they were short staff in the kitchen and she said no. Other tables were getting their food. We asked our food to go since we did not want to sit there anymore. They said they would give us a discount but we thought that our food should be compensated. The waitress agreed and we left. We got stopped in the street by a very rude woman who I think must have been the manager saying we could not take free food. My son tried to explain to her that no one told us the food was going to take a long time and we would have left early had someone said something or offered an appetizer four young children. The manager left the decision making to the waitress and they chased us in the street accusing us of getting free food. No apologies no taking accountability or trying to make things right. . They turned our fun family day into a very unpleasant event. I am a grandmother and have never been treated or spoken to so rudely in my entire life. We were a large party of 8 but we're seated immediately outside. That's about where the timeliness stopped. Our waitress was friendly but perhaps overly honest in how she felt about working that day. It took awhile for us to receive our drink and then over an hour to receive our food. We were told the kitchen was new.
