Great little place to visit! The service was top notch. Everyone was super friendly, jovial, and helpful. Two people in my party got a Huckleberry Martini and it's served in an ice cone. What a novel idea and great presentation! The menu has SO many great options. It was hard to choose. I went with the Jalapeño Cream Cheese Burger. Something I've not seen before and it was pretty good. Things definitely wish I had ordered was one of their macaroni and cheese dishes and possibly the smoked rib tips. Wish we had one in SoCal where I live, but if/when I come back to Snohomish I'll definitely be back. read more

Hops N Drops is a solid place to grab a convenient burger and fries any day -- and there really isn't anything else like it in the area. One thing you won't have to worry about coming to Hops N Drops is... parking. There is an extreme amount of parking around this shopping center and you'll be fine. Yeah, sometimes stuff is busy in the immediate place, but you never really need to park very far -- it overflows into a home depot parking lot. I usually order take out from this place, and they have a few dedicated spots right in front of their door, as well. Convenient! I've had a wide range of their burgers, fries, onion rings, tots, etc... and everything has been extremely good. One standout that SHOULD NOT be THIS GOOD is the "Black and Bleu" burger - blackening spices, bleu cheese, fried onions, and chipotle mayo (plus lettuce, onion, etc)... It is a great balance of different flavors you don't usually see, and it works. They also use clearly pretty good bleu cheese, because it's super flavorful. Other great burgers I've had are: jalapeno burger, western burger, bacon burger... all pretty standard, but the patty is always cooked nicely (juicy, not overdone, seasoned well). Their tots are super crispy. Onion rings and fries are solid (not amazing, not bad). Anyway, at the end of the day... this place gives me consistently tasty food -- really can't complain! read more

Walked inside and waited till we weren't even properly greeted by hostess. We were looked at with a blank stare as if we were supposed to introduce ourselves. Host sat us down with only menus, no silverware no water which was not given to us until we asked later. Our server didn't come to the table and a manager came instead and took our drink orders in a non customer friendly way. Our real server stopped at our table maybe twice and never properly introduced herself. Food was mid and not worth the price. Only one young gentleman made this experience better and was kind and got us everything we needed upon our request. Overall wouldn't recommend, go spend your money somewhere better. read more

Beautiful Day in Snohomish. Husband and I decided to grab lunch out. Typically I avoid the chain restaurants, but in the Snohomish station there are not many choices. Hops N Drops and I go way back though. Back when they were Hop Jack's I was about fan. The name may have changed but the food and drinks are still fantastic. I just wish the drops and all the fancy cocktails weren't so sugary. Sigh. I digress. Never again. Ordered two salads via Uber Eats. One was a chicken caesar, one was a chicken tender salad. Both had an addition of $1.95/ea of avocado. The chicken caesar came with no chicken nor avocado. The chicken tender salad had a few bits of chicken tenders that were like eating cardboard. They tasted like they'd been baked under a lukewarm light for several days. The avocado that I paid for was also missing. Two salads. That's all we wanted. And they couldn't even make that happen. This has developed into one of our go-to spots, especially during a busy week when we don't feel like cooking. The fact that they're open fairly late 7 days a week is a huge bonus, especially when most of Snohomish seems to roll up the sidewalks at 9pm during the week and it's hard to find a place that's open (and not fast food). The food at Hops n Drops is consistently good. The huge, inventive menu offers a lot of variety; after at least 10 visits we still haven't tried everything, but what we have tried has been really tasty. The prices are decent (tonight's dinner for two was just over $50), and the service is fast and responsive. The only possible knock would be the decor (or lack of)...ambiance is definitely utilitarian "sports bar", but it's not overly loud, it's clean, and it's huge enough that it's usually not a long wait to get in. And we don't come for the ambiance, anyway...we come for the food. A great local spot. Give 'em a try! read more

Today I got to have a awesome lunch with my family at h&ds, my wife and I have been coming here to dine since they opened this isn't the first time my family has had lunch here either so that being said it's safe to say we've had good experiences here and today was par for the course. Unfortunately I didn't get our waiters name but he was excellent very attentive to my granddaughters special requests such as no green onions in her taco salad, also requests for straws for their soft drinks were provided without having to make an extra trip to provide them. We ordered a pretty wide selection of food and all arrived at the same time, nice and hot except for the taco salads, wouldn't be good. My wife and I got burgers hers the western and mine the mushroom burger rounding out the order we had two taco salads, no green onions on one please, and lastly a Kyle's damn good sandwich, they have some fun names for their menu items lol. Like I said our waiter made sure that everything was good to go and we dove in. I can really only say that my mushroom burger was delicious the burger had a nice char the bun was standard and held everything together, the French fries are frozen I'm pretty sure but no big deal, I mean this isn't a 4 star restaurant, my wife got tater tots with her burger and they were hot and fresh hadn't been sitting so we were happy. Looking around the table it was pretty quiet usually that means everyone is enjoying themselves. All in all we had a nice lunch spending a nice afternoon together in a friendly restaurant you should give them a try. read more

Stopped in twice the first week I tried them! My chicken sandwich, salad, my husbands burger and fries and my Italian soda were delicious! We've tried 4 of the appetizers and have not been disappointed as well, the service was great both times with just one lady the second time doing the walk by and can't hear your excuse me's unless you SCREAM. I love hops n drops and have been to many of them the Smokey point location being my favorite one so far. I went outside to smoke and I over heard the cooks I believe talking about how the conditions are so bad and they're not getting paid enough for the job they do and how the management team doesn't help. Honestly when I used to come years ago it was such a different atmosphere every one looked happy but now you can look into the kitchen and tell the cooks are over worked and unhappy, I've worked in the industry in different job codes and you can just see it. Their food and drinks are great but when I see and know the staff isn't being treated accordingly it puts a sour taste in my mouth. I hope they get a better management team that is willing to help the kitchen, not once have I personally seen a manager in the kitchen like I used to before. I will most likely stop coming here and my friends agree to support the Smokey point or Bonney lake location where the staff looks like they're being treating according. If you love oil and salt, this is your place! The grease just runs out of every grilled sandwich or burger I've had here, and the fries and tots are so salty I could only stomach a few. However, I have had decent salads and wraps- the buffalo chicken wrap is wonderful. I ordered the steak and lobster. I asked for medium rare and received a medium steak (didn't send it back because it wasn't too big of a deal) the lobster was very small. It honestly looks like the cheap Safeway lobster tails you get on Friday's for 5 dollars. Very chewy and not a pleasant experience for the price of the plate. A group of eight of us stopped in here for dinner. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Tabs were easily split. The table that we were seated at was cramped and the pile up of dishes (appetizer's) and glasses (beer and wine) didn't help the matter. One would think it's common sense to grab empty dishes after placing further orders such as drinks and meals. Unfortunately this was not the case during our visit. We had to constantly interrupt the staff members (several) while they were conversing among-st one another near the kitchen area and request that they do their job. Work ethics need to be addressed. During work hours the personal conversations and phone interactions should be minimal. Focus needs to be on the patrons. While perusing the menu, I ordered a glass of 14 Hands Cab for $8.25. Pretty steep pricing for such a casual restaurant. My wife ordered a few pints of Tiplehorn Irish Red beer for $6 each. As an appetizer, we shared the Queso Dip for $9.50: pepper Jack, cheddar, jalapenos and taco meat. Served with tortilla chips. The queso had good flavor. The tortilla chips were a mixture of fresh and stale. Disappointing. My wife and I shared the Triple Threat Crispy Chicken Sandwich for $13.95: chipotle may, pepper Jack, Cajun seasoned chicken breast, french fried onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and bacon. We chose tater tots as our side. We both enjoyed our sandwich choice. The tots fell short of our expectations because they were lukewarm. It would have been helpful if the kitchen could have cut our sandwich in half in the back instead of having to cut it ourselves at the table. I also ordered a cup of Chicken Noodle Soup for $4.25. Chicken Noodle soup is always comforting. I would have enjoyed my soup more if it wasn't served tepid. Overall, Hop Jacks did not make a great first impression. Staff members were unproductive. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Hop Jacks will not come to mind for future dining experiences. read more

This was our first time coming here in person. (Previously ordered their sugar powdered mini donuts on door dash so good!) Brenda was our waitress and she was phenomenal! She made great food recommendations and she has a bright personality :) my husband said his steak house burger was the best burger he's had in a long time. I ordered the jalapeño cream cheese burger and it was amazing! The potato chips are made in house (so good!). French fries are great as well! We also got the queso dip as an appetizer and that was delicious (has taco meat in it). My most favorite was the ice teas! So many different flavors and all are made sweetened with real fruit! As a person with Celiac, I wasn't able to eat anything here. They have gf buns, but if you don't eat beef, there is no option for anything GF to put in it. They have a vegetarian burger patty that has gluten. Makes no sense. Also the fries- forget it. They're dusted in wheat flour. That was the only option they had besides a salad, I don't even think they have a gf dressing.
