Can't stop won't stop. The regular staff and the regulars here make Jake's a unique fantastic spot.

Cute spot, old traditional cafe spot in DT Snohomish. Not a big restaurant so kind of hard with a larger party. It was busy on a Saturday morning so felt claustrophobic a bit. Also, when they put two tables together.. they didn't take away any duplicate items like napkin dispensers etc so didn't leave us much room. I ended up getting the pancake combo meal. Wow the size of their pancakes are so impressive! Nice & fluffy too. Everything else was lacking flavor wise. Bacon was thin & filmsy.. eggs & hashbrowns were just ok and oily. Honestly this place wasn't impressive to me and other better breakfast spots in the area. It has cute decor though.. vintage vibes.

Omgoodness what a fun little nostalgic place with huge personality ... walls covered in old school photos, posters set up like an old diner.. portions are huge so go hungry... staff is over the top friendly! Even the bathroom is decorated cute! Enjoy!

Located off the beaten path. Jake's Cafe on Second Street is a blast from the past. Serving good food, hot coffee and if you're lucky enough some classic cars. The service was great and attentive, made you feel right at home -- even if you were visiting from out of town. The eclectic theming of old classic ads for meals and movies just transports you back! If you're ever looking for a good place for breakfast and French toast look no further than Jake's Cafe.

Homey small town cafe with nice waitresses in the Betty Boop style. Route 66 decor, solid breakfast cooks. Frequent coffee refills. Love it!

First here! We went with family who are regulars and Omgoddddd so good definitely recommend French toast and eggs were so fresh and fluffy the bacon perfectly crisp! My husband got the Jake's omelette? I believe that was so fucken good! It has hash brown bacon I think onion and tomatoes too I'm not sure but it was amazing!! And customer service was amazing!

Huge portion sizes, you will not leave this place with room still in your stomach. Fantastic food. Similar to other reviews you will read, there seemed to be a lot of stares from other customers for us being an interracial couple - nothing weird from the staff, so our star rating is not punitive against the staff, but this places does appear to attract the sort of crowd that created an uncomfortable ambiance with a lot of odd looks from other customers.

I would rate this spot a 3.5/5! My family and I came in on a Wednesday afternoon so we were able to…read morebe seated right away. Right away, I thought the interior (marble tables and matching booth) was super cute! This is what we ordered: Oreo Milk Shake The Oreo milkshake was rich, creamy, and delicious with a generous amount of whip cream on top! Chicken Souvlaki (Shish Kabob) and Chicken Gyro Today I learned that souvlaki is marinated meat (typically chicken, pork, or lamb) grilled on skewers while gyros are usually a combo of beef, pork, or lamb cooked on a rotisserie and shaved off in thin slices. Honestly, they both tasted kind of the same despite the different preparation of the meat. Both dishes were not the worst but not the best. The meat could've used a little more salt but the tzatziki sauce was delicious! Chicken Melt This was probably the best savory entree! The sandwich had the perfect crunch that was followed with the creaminess of the cheese and the flavor from the grilled onion and chicken. Pancakes These pancakes here are comparable to the ones I've had at Rusty Pelican and Sawmill Café- super yummy! As for our entrees, it comes with a side of either fries, salad, soup, or fruit. My mother and I got the soup which was beef and vegetables and my sister got a salad. The soup was nice and hearty with a generous amount of meat and veggies and the salad was... well a salad haha. If I were to come back, I would probably just stick to the classic American dishes instead of the Greek dishes.

Tried this spot for a weekday lunch and had a pretty good experience overall!…read more I went for the salad bar. It was decent and definitely filling. As a vegetarian, my protein option was pesto tofu, while the other options were salmon and tuna. They had all the usual greens and vegetables, and everything was served cold. There were a few in house dressings along with some store bought ones. I tried the balsamic vinaigrette and a honey ginger dressing. It was good, but I think it could be better. My husband ordered the pesto tofu sandwich with Moroccan soup, and that was the highlight. The sandwich was delicious, and his only regret was not getting the full size. The soup was also really flavorful. The place itself feels cozy. The food came out quickly, and we finished everything in no time. Parking is street parking, which might be tricky, especially on weekends. Overall, a good experience. I would definitely come back to try more sandwiches or burgers, but I would probably skip the salad bar next time.
