The ambiance here is lovely, and the food is so great! I enjoy coming often to relax, people watch, and get a delicious bite!

Breakfast Croissant Sandwich & French Toast

Really cute cafe with a hippie/boho atmosphere. Clean and fun inside. We ate there for breakfast. Yummy croissant breakfast sandwiches and my friend had the french toast which she loved. The guy working was so nice and accommodating and our food came out fast, fresh, and hot. I think his name was Rhett. Overall great experience!

Delicious Hawaiian Burger & Bacon Cheeseburger

My friend & I found this incredible breakfast & lunch spot in Everett on Hewitt & Hoyt called STRGZR! Rhett took good care of us and gave us amazing burgers & fresh cut fries! Our leftovers were delicious too! Can't wait to try the breakfast soon. https://strgzrkitchen.com/

This is a cool little spot. We tried the hamburger, fries, and French toast. I couldn't believe how big the portion of the hamburger was--it was so delicious! We tried our best, but it was just too much food. This place was great!

Big personality small corner cafe in a walkable part of downtown. We stopped here for a late lunch small bite/snack. Hubs & I shared a fresh tasting turkey sandwhich with some skinny fries; our daughter and her BF shared a yummy grilled cheese with added tomato and spinach. It's a small space but they've made good use of it with a pastry case in the front and a bunch of happy plants/greenery in the large windows. Server was welcoming & helpful. Chef came out as we were leaving to say thanks for coming in. Left feeling good vibes!

Menu

Small cute restaurant, very quick service, aesthetic, old punk rock vibes, dark lit ambience, drinks and food are slightly costly but it's a cute place! Servers are very friendly

Clubhouse sandwich

Excellent food, fun atmosphere. Clubhouse sandwich was excellent, adjusted to the be different from your standard, but with all the right changes. Clean tables, very friendly staff.

We have to begin by describing the vibe here -- I was picking up 80's Coffee House Vibes -- kinda…read morelike Everett's version of the Last Exit. (gotta climb in the Wayback Machine for that gem!) I loved that I saw at least six versions of my childhood dining room table, which felt so nostalgically comfortable that I wanted to crawl under one with my coloring books and my chocolate milk. But I digress -- you're supposed to be reading my review. I decided that I was in the mood for grilled cheese and tomato soup, so that's what I ordered. The tomato soup is really amazing -- so fresh tasting and delicious. But the sandwich was next level nom-ness. I opted to get it on sourdough because it's the best for dunking into the soup. Totes 'lish (I just thought I would type like one of the cool kids!! In conclusion, I want to talk about the service -- ordering was fairly simple, and the varied menu made it exciting to know there are so many choices. You order in line and the incredible wait staff brings the food quite quickly. With the vibe, the service and all the things, I am definitely coming back.

It definitely worked on me - usually specials are relegated to a small corner of the menu, but here they are front and center. I couldn't resist and so I got the Pot Roast Dip. It's a sandwich that has a good amount of pot roast, some bacon jam that's glued together with provolone and Swiss cheese all on a Giuseppe roll (From Macrina Bakery? It's a crust roll). The bacon jam and sandwich dressing makes the sandwich really sweet, but the Angus sauce is very salty, and so when the sandwich is dipped it all balances out interestingly enough. It was good to try, but I think I'll order something else next time. I also got a Mocha latte- very smooth and delicious. I would get this again! Their bathrooms are shared with the rest of the building - the code is at the cashiers. The wifi password is right next to it too. You grab a menu, wait in line to order, and then they bring your food to you. Bus your own table when you're done. Solid spot.

I also steal a nacho or five when my wife isn't looking. Bayside is a perfect example of "not all vegan food is salad" (they do have salad tho). The decor is this awesome, eclectic, repurposed Chinese restaurant motif with flair. There's a separate bar area. It's not a sports bar, more like your friendly neighborhood dive, but cleaner. It's normally easy to get seated quickly and servers are attentive, even though they can be a little stretched thin during busier times. Overall, it's a blessing and a curse that I don't live closer. A blessing because I'd spend all my money here and weigh double. A curse because I think I might be okay with that.

Sadly I didn't take any photos of the food. We tried A LOT of dishes on their menu. Nachitos: 5/5 very good! I enjoyed this. Soft pretzels and mustard: 5/5. Buffalo wingz: 2/5 NOT for me! Hated the texture. Tofu Soba: 3/5. HUGE portion. It was ok, sauce is interesting, acidic yet sweet. It doesn't taste great the next day. Lots of Tofu pieces. Fried pickles: 2/5 so greasy and salty. Not for me! Lemon coconut mocktail: 5/5. I had 2 of these, so good and refreshing. Pineapple crush: 2/5 disappointing. Needs to have more bubbles. Dessert was disappointing. I was super excited because they just got a whole fresh delivery of their vegan cakes. We tried one of each and I didn't like any of them to be honest.

We're both omnivores who eat a fair amount of plant-based fare for health reasons (I have allergies and intolerances, she's heeding doctor's advice). To be clear, this is a cafe, not a full blown restaurant. They serve luncheon fare, but it's a small operation so be either patient to don't bother - especially if there's a line. It's counter ordering with payment expected in advance. The tables closest to the window are a *little* harrowing because of the ADA ramp that leads to the door: the closest chairs can teeter down the ramp if the chairs are pushed back too far. Be careful. There are huge, regular, and small tables available. The biggest table is a little tricky to navigate for folks who want to sit in the booth side, but once seated it's quite lovely. I ordered the Pesto Pasta (involving zoodles: zucchini noodles) and a Sun Juice. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Please note: it's worth looking around this place while waiting for your food. You can conceivably get your own water, napkins and cutlery if you walk far enough along the counter towards the back of the restaurant. Back there, you may also notice a single-occupancy restroom and bins for bussing your own dishes. The Sun Juice arrived first, freshly blended, and was delicious. If that's what their juice is like, I look forward to exploring their smoothie offerings. My pasta arrived looking BEAUTIFUL on a bed of spinach, and smelled just as good. It tasted a teensy bit more of salt than I would've liked, but then I speared a sun dried tomato with my next bite and remembered that I'm not a food critic, just a happy customer. Although I'm not generally a fan of zoodles, they seemed to have the art of cooking them down pat: they didn't distract from the pesto at all. The bisque had an artful design of (coconut? cashew?) cream on top. My friend was delighted to note that it was a bit of spice to it: nothing challenging, but just enough for her to find comforting. Given the light and airy look of the inside and the rather rustic / flower-child look of the outside, she was not expecting that surprise. She was so impressed with the grilled cheese sandwich that she offered me a bite: we were both quite impressed with the "cheese" they used, as the item was listed as vegan on the menu. My friend kept whining that she's doomed, as they're close to where she lives *and* they deliver. Oh, yeah - poor her, indeed. Alas, alack, and so on.

I can say we were all pretty disappointed in this place. The staff was the only positive that we took away from this experience. Both servers that we encountered were both kind and attentive. The drinks and food however totally missed the marks. We all started off with drinks 2 margaritas, a gin gimlet and a beer between the four of us. The margaritas were terrible, like I am not sure how they put them as a feature drink. They had zero jalapeños and also offered no spicy margarita whatsoever. My wife's gin gimlet tasted like straight up lime juice. All were complete misses. Next we moved on to the food where each couple ordered a dozen wings. The X's and O's( fries and onion rings) and we also ordered a wedge salad. The wedge salad came out and idk how it was marketed as wedge when it was a bowl of salad completely engulfed in dressing(closer to soup than salad). Next the fries and onion rings came out and I'm not usually a stickler for what things cost, but $17 for like 6 onion rings and a very sad plate of fries. We expected a bit more for what we ordered for the table. Lastly the wings. While the flavoring of the wings were good, they came out not too warm to the touch and biting into them they were cold on the inside. Concerned that we may get sick from uncooked meat they assured us that they were precooked and just dropped into the fryer to finish them off. To me it is concerning that though they were precooked and still missed on hearing them all way, you may need to have a chat with your kitchen. Both of the servers were on top of it and ran both dozens back to have our order recooked. Second time around they were hot and crispy with good flavor(although the garlic boom boom wings were missing one of the sauces the second time around). It didn't matter, we ate them and paid. Not sure we will put this on our revisit list. Maybe the burgers or flatbread were the way to go, but out of 3 menu items and even the drinks.... There needs to be much more effort to everything here...

We got the calamari and it was bad--cold and honestly just bland. We also ordered the beer-battered halibut. It was okay, but a bit overcooked, and it came with fries... maybe 25 total for a 3-piece fish plate. Our bill was around $65 for two beers (with the $2 off Thursday special), the calamari, and the 3-piece halibut. Just overpriced for what it was. The place itself is cute, and they had acoustic music going, which was nice. The staff was friendly and really hustling with how busy it was. Overall, though, I didn't feel like it was worth it and probably wouldn't go back. I wish we could do .5 stars. I struggled between 2 & 3. I ended with 3 for the venue, live music (she was really good) and the awesome staff.
