To be honest, I came here because of there yelp review expecting it to be a restaurant and I felt weird about the fact that it's in a hotel haha. I was in too deep to turn around at that point, so I committed. There shrimp appetizer was fire. I find myself craving it all the time now. There burger was good, we'll seasoned and cooked. Prices were fine. Services was super friendly. Overall I was pleasantly surprised. I gave it 4-star because it was still a hotel restaurant. Amazing food and great prices. Also saved our night, everything was over and hour wait and they were able to get us right in and we were able to celebrate our aunties birthday. This restaurant is located in the Embassy Suites in Lynwood. Bar and restaurant it offers a variety and reasonably prices snacks and meals. They do a nice job of displaying the food when it arrives and is fairly tasty. Service was pleasant and very efficient and food arrived in a timely manner. Had the mushroom burger. Warning it comes with a thousand island style sauce. This wasn't my favorite but not bad. read more

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by our meal last evening at the Cascades restaurant. He had the prime rib which is available only on Friday and Saturday. Served on a bed of roasted garlic potatoes with asparagus and veggies. I had the PNW cob salad. What a surprise! Beautifully presented with a healthy serving of grilled salmon, 3 prawns, 1/4 avocado, 1 sliced egg, tomato and bacon. It was wonderful! We will be back (we are staying here for a few days). My husband was impressed as well. Our server was attentive and helpful. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is the atmosphere.... very noisy bar next to the restaurant and my husband had to go to our room to get sweaters for us both. We will try to sit a more comfortable distance from the bar next time and come prepared with a sweater. :) read more

I would love to give this place zero stars. First off they wipe the floors and the table with the same rag which we realized after being seated. We ordered drinks (wine and beer) and our waiter got the order wrong. Then after sitting there over an hour, our waiter came by and admitted he had not put our order in yet!!! What?! The pime rib sits around in a steamer so it's flavorless but tender enough to cut with the play knife it's served with. Mashed potatoes from a box taste better so these must be food service just add water brand The steamed veggies brought me back to when I used to have lunch with my Grandpa at his retirement home. Then there was the cobbler. It has "Cashmere" in the name so I thought maybe since Cashmere is known for apples, maybe there's hope. McDonald's apple pie is way better. At least there's some cinnamon in theirs. I'm pretty sure the cook that served me food in prison works here now. read more

My husband and I came home from dinner one night and thought we would check out the bar inside this place because it's just off the freeway. This was while they were renovating it. The only people in there was this woman and her daughters who had a cart full of American Girl stuff, probably for my birthday at the mall, and the bartender. They were trying to wrestle everything on the cart, and it was some good people watching. The only thing we didn't like was that the bartender would not leave us alone. we usually chat with bartenders when we travel because they recommend places for us to go. But because we live in Lynnwood, we didn't really need info, but I think this guy was probably bored out of his mind so he wouldn't leave us alone The second time we came here was a couple months ago, and the renovation makes this a terrible spot. The bartender was really friendly, and they were quite a few people in the bar area, but it's now an open space hotel with the rooms all facing the "courtyard" of tables on the ground floor. If you look at some of the pictures you can see that the bar and a bunch of seating areas are all out in the middle courtyard, with the pool on the other side. It's extremely noisy and we will not be coming back. Which stinks because Lynnwood doesn't have many bars. read more

I have been staying at this Embassy now for 4 years. My wife has been staying here over 17 years, once for Nine months. We have always enjoyed the restaurant here and like the new look of Cascades. Brad is the absolute best bartender and table server that we can ever imagine having. Rex is one of our favorites too. We have tried almost everything on the menu. Our favorite apps are the bang bang cauliflower and Artichoke dip. We are not fans of the calamari or tapas trio. Wings are not bad. Our favorite sandwich is the Cascades Club . It is perfect with honey mustard. Burgers here are very tasty as well. We do not like the banh chicken sandwich or the veggie wrap. All their salads are good, but pricey. Their best feature menu item is the Prime Rib that is only available Friday and Saturday night. It is seriously fantastic. The grilled salmon is very good, and the grilled shrimp are good but a bit small IMO. They used to have an amazing ribeye we would always get but it has been replaced with terrible beef medallions . Avoid. The flat iron steak is not that good either and also an avoid for us. The chicken curry is definitely not our cup of tea either. I hope in the future they can change up the featured menu items and why I can not give them a 5 rating. The cheesecake is awesome to finish your meal. Having a restaurant like this with the amazing service and different types of food options in your hotel is wonderful. Business Travelers, like myself, love this place overall. Bar always has sports on and if you need room service this place will not disappoint. read more

Staying here at the motel for the evening. The place looks amazing especially for the price. My mom and I decided to eat here and the food was ok but not filling. Was still hungry after, so decided to have dessert right!?!? I got the apple crisp and was disappointed. Absolutely no flavor and was bland... so order something else for dessert. This would have been a 3 start but the bartenders were great. Jeff was hilarious and was awesome!! They also have free well drinks and their drink of choice for FREE during a couple hours!!!! Yikes! I ate here during a meeting. I ordered a ceasar salad for $12.95 and iced tea for $3.00. The salad was a side at best. It wasn't bad but there was so little there. Some romaine lettuce, about 5 crutons, a sprinkle of parm, and a little cup of dressing. The tea was that pre made fountain stuff that i swear tastes like watered down prune juice. If this is reflective of what this restaurant serves, I'd stay far away. read more

My family has been staying in the hotel over a month due to a house fire, we thought it would be annoying to be here so long but the food and the staff are amazing. We go to Cascades almost every night. Nick is an awesome bartender, he always keeps us on our toes with his specialty drinks. We have had Anastasia as a server a couple times, she is so friendly and very knowledgeable. We've been here a month, due to a house fire, and have eaten in the restaurant a lot. The fish & chips is delicious and very filling, the Reuben sandwich is a hit too. Glad I ignored the bad reviews because I just stayed at Embassy for three days and ate here and everything was delicious. I had the club sandwich and soups of the day and turkey sandwich and everything was yummy. There was no need to leave the hotel to go out to eat. Also the staff is very friendly, want to point out Brad especially because he was very attentive yesterday when I was feeding my toddler who had just fallen and injured her face and he kept coming around to make sure we were ok and even got us an ointment for the scratches. Came here with a large group of older ladies for our monthly meal, and our server Jeff took very good care of us. He handled even our most "opinionated" ladies with fantastic customer service and a smile. Our orders were all rather complicated, but he made sure we were all pleased with our meals.
