view of the ferry!

I can't say enough good things about this place! We are frequent visitors and it is my favorite place in Edmonds for reliably high quality food, atmosphere, parking, service and drinks. Unlike many Edmonds establishments, you don't have to make a reservation a month in advance to get a table. We went tonight on a beautiful summer evening and only waited a few minutes to get an outside table. The hosts were clearly young adults/older teenagers and they were so sweet and welcoming. I wish I caught their names! Our waiter (I wish I got his name, too!) was super helpful and attentive. They obviously updated their menu over the past year, because I saw many dishes that I had never seen before. My biggest complaint is just that I wanted to order too many things. I ordered oysters and clam chowder in a bread bowl, but I am definitely going back for the grilled peach bruschetta and the coconut prawns! They also had a killer key lime pie on display that I was sadly too full to eat! We had the best view of the train tracks, the ferry, and divers going in to the sound. We had an overall lovely experience, and will definitely be back. I don't know who their current head chef is, but he or she is doing a killer job! Perhaps my favorite part about this restaurant is that it is actually reasonably priced! You don't necessarily have to pay $40-$50 just for your entree. Also, the menu is so large and diverse that it satisfies both picky foodies (my husband), kids, and people who just like a lot of variety (me). That's a hard thing to do! This place is one of the best spots Edmonds has to offer, year round!

Half eaten GF fried Calamari Tenders

Waiter seemed knowledgeable about gluten free but had to ask BOH about dairy free. Luckily what I wanted was dairy free. I shared firecracker shrimp, fried calamari, and fish n chips, along with their seasonal pumpkin spice cider. Delicious and stuffed!

Came out to Edmonds w friends for brunch and had a great time! We had variety of lunch & brunch items. It was pretty busy yet we were able to reserve a spot outside in a heated area, which was a cozy fire and it helps as we gear for fall! So many great choices to try, it was a little hard to choose for brunch :)

Went to this place to get lunch to eat on the ferry! I walked in to place a to go order and was greeted right away. The inside is really cool and they have a patio with a great view. Loved the decor. I asked why one of the bowls wasn't gluten free and the host said she did not know. I asked her if she could ask the chef. She came back a a few min later and said it must be a misprint. So def ask! I wanted to order online so I could just come pick it up, but half the menu isn't available for online ordering for some reason. I called several times to place an order and nobody answered. While I was there, I heard the phone ring and nobody answered it even though people were available at the host stand. Odd. I waited inside the restaurant, and after about 20 min, the host made eye contact with me and went "oh shit I forgot about your food" as if I hadn't been sitting 5 feet away from her. Weird again. She brought it right out. The food was average. It tasted like stuff I could make at home. Not very flavorful or interesting and was moderately expensive for a lunch.

Across the railroad tracks from the beach and ferry

Service was friendly, but not overly helpful. The menu is extensive. We had the Greek salad which was more lettuce than anything else. The Caprese flatbread left much to be desired. The crust was not chewy or crispy. The location is the best thing about this place as it is very close to the Edmonds Beach called Brackets Landing. The only thing that comes between the restaurant and the beach is the railroad tracks. The train comes through periodically. You can see the ferry from the restaurant as well.

My wife and I dined in on a Saturday night, fortunately we were seated quickly! We sat in the outdoor patio which is covered by a tarp with see through plastic windows so you can still see the beautiful view of the ferry dock and the sound. Food was delicious, especially the Fettuccine Alfredo. I initially ordered the pasta with chicken but it was first served to us without it. We told the server about it and they quickly served us up another one with chicken this time. This is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, the quality is decent, the proportions are as well, and the value is there!

What a cute place at an amazing location right by the water next to the ferry. Gorgeous! Not only do they have lots of space inside but there is also a large outdoor patio. I met here with my coworkers for lunch on a Sunday. Yes it was busy there. And the waitress was stressed and absolutely NOT friendly at all. It took a long time to get any orders in and food out. It's hard to truly judge the food when service is that bad. I'll start with dessert since that was the highlight. Key lime pie: 4/5. Mexican donuts with caramel sauce: 3/5: caramel sauce ruined the donuts. They seemed freshly made, not too sweet and kinda chewy texture. They could be 5/5 with a good sauce! Chocolate chip and oatmeal cookie with ice cream: 5/5 worth it!! Chocolate mousse cake: 4/5 Creme brûlée: 4/5 very smooth texture, sugar was too burnt but nice and thin. Food: Brie and apples: 2/5 too sweet, wish there was more Brie than apples. Pear Gorgonzola prosciutto flatbread: 4/5. Very good except the Canned pears?? Brunch Paella: 4/5: lots of meat, rice is crispy which I like. Served with 4 sunny side up eggs. $60 though?? However it is big enough for 2-4 people depending on your portion size. Firecracker shrimp: 5/5 this was my favorite! Calamari: 5/5 very good, not greasy. Served with a delicious tangy cilantro lime sauce. Fries: 5/5. Cos-no-politan: 1/5. $12 for 4oz of watered down juice with lime. Waste of money.

Had a great experience at Demetris today! Thank you Nash for making us feel right at home for my first visit. We ordered the Fish and Chips, Nachos, and Cod Tacos and all were excellent! And a great view down by the Edmonds waterfront. Hope to be back soon!

Great spot on Main near ferry. Nice patio for summer dining. Friendly staff and very positive busy vibe. Took my servers advice and ordered the mussels dripping in an excellent creamy curry sauce. Very fresh seafood and a huge selection of dishes to choose from. Normally that would turn me off but everything looked really good Highly recommends

The flatbreads are really tasty and the same goes for their mocktail. The staff is polite and the service is quick. The interior is spacious and cozy (in the winter). They have an outdoor patio with the view of the beach. But you cannot see anything in the dark due to reflection. It may work in the summer time. Be cautious, train pass by it and there will be noise.

Pasta Al Forno With Vodka Sauce

Stan was our server. He was the best. The food was delicious. The ambiance was also great. Not too loud. And clean Ds burger 4.5/5 this burger was huge. Aioli was delicious Firecracker shrimp 4.5/5 was also delicious. Penne vodka 4/5. Good sized portion. Bread was great. As well. Could've had a little more salt. But good staple

This place was delicious with fast service. We had a last minute large group show up and they were able to sit us right away. Their outdoor seating is covered and heated. Its was very comfortable. They had plenty of choices for food and it didnt disappoint.

We came in here with a group of 14 fit a friends birthday and they were incredibly accommodating for our reservation in putting tables together, bringing the cake out to us and cutting it and serving it, and allowing us to pay for our meals separately. The food here was quite good. The Brussel sprouts were quite good and everyone lived the shrimp (I'm allergic so i couldn't say). We loved our sandwiches and my husband added and egg to his burger which he said was cooked perfectly

The deviled eggs were to die for and I wish we had ordered twice as many. I also ordered goat cheese and crackers and the figs with prosciutto, however, and I just was not digging either one. I was expecting fresh figs with cured prosciutto, and that was just not the dish offered on the menu. I'm an ignorant diner, so it was my bad, but to be honest, I wish this place offered less "foodie food" and more just palatable, easy, approachable food. I had a gin and tonic and the specialty banana cocktail, both of which were amazing. We love this place and will continue to visit frequently, I just need more menu options for "picky" eaters. Like, just give me a bread bowl with some chowder and I'll be happy. Or, some fish and chips. I don't need gourmet, I just need some "easy" food while I enjoy all the amazing cocktails.

These guys have been on my list for years now. Friends who live an hour away have tried it, and I…read morehadn't. Tons of local friends rave about it. There was even a YEE up here a couple weeks ago, further reminding me that I am behind on the local spirits train. We finally got lively enough yesterday to stop by here after lunch. We had to squeeze our visit in between other activities, but even an artificially-shortened visit was enough to get us flipping over what's on offer. It's one of the many cool food/drink spaces in the big shell on Sunset. Short, shallow concrete steps walking up, then several different spaces warrened together once you're inside. Everything is welcoming and spotless, and all cleanable: all wood, glass, and other hard materials. It's stylish and easy to enjoy. We tried flights of 3 vodkas, 4 gins, a liqueur, and a whiskey. We joined the bottle club on the spot, which got us tastes of 2 more liqueurs and another whiskey. In related news, for the rest of my life, I may never remember how to spell "liqueur" for any longer than maybe 10 seconds. The flights are wonderfully cheap--$10 to try 4 vodkas, 1/2-ounce pours each. Most are flavored already with ingredients from all over the culinary spectrum--sweet, savory, etc. We loved the mint, citrus, and three-tea vodkas, buying a bottle of the latter. They bring a shot of tonic water to blend with the shots as you go, to your own ratio. You immediately get all kinds of ideas for mixing these with flavored bubbly waters and other ingredients, turning them into endless varieties of vodka sodas. They make cocktails on site and also suggest tons of recipes for mixing drinks with their different spirits. It's all a big Lego set for your liver. The gins were so good, and came with tonic water to blend to taste. Both the martini-style and G&T-style had tons of big aromatics and really had a savory quench to them, not the sandy hollow feel you sometimes get after a sip of gin. The barrel-infused gin was even more interesting, and would be fine as a neat sipper (that's so cool to find in a distillery with such a clear mix & cocktail focus). The chai liqueur was like a special holiday treat--it doesn't sound like the sugariest spirit on the market (not even close), but it had a special dessert treat quality without a doubt. The holiday gin was kinda ho-hum for me, with the holiday spices seeming to cancel out the botanicals and leaving a pretty tight and neutral flavor profile. The whiskey was clean and didn't show any burn, but it's still young and so far isn't sporting a flashy barrel quality. The port-cask version that came out with the club-member tastes showed more barrel, and a clear port quality too. There was also a lemongrass-ginger liqueur, along with a mint-chocolate pour. Both were amazing dessert-drink candidates, though by no means were they overly sweet. The lemongrass one would blend well into a tall summer cocktail, and the mint/cacao would turn into a cool wintry pour with a heavier body. And you could probably do 50 different other things with each of them. The staff were super welcoming and open, telling us all kinds of stuff about how they make the spirits and all the other cool stuff that they do. They clearly have built on their success, with tons of swag for sale and lots of custom-branded stuff for them. Their branding is really appealing, too. We came home with two new bottles and will pick up the club release in about month. This feels like a great way to put a couple fancier clear spirits on the bar at home every so often.

Owner was gracious enough to include a tour which is not typical for Sundays. Their process and growth was fascinating and I could spend hours learning about their efforts. Food options were limited although the brie, fig jam, and rosemary crackers (cheesemongers cheese & salami plate) was a good palate cleanser. Tried several cocktails and a flight of 4 spirits. They have such a large variety of spirits from spicy (hatch pepper vodka for ex) to intensely aromatic (waquavit for ex) to very sweet (falemum for ex).
