Glad we popped in here on our way home from the Edmonds ferry driving south toward Seattle. While our meal was just delicious pizza, the menu was extensive & we had a bit of Entree Envy as we saw the adjacent tables' meals, particularly a towering wedge salad! Vault 177 is connected to the Spin Alley as restaurant. Every bowling Alley needs this, and Vault 177 seems to do the job. Alongside a bowling outing with friends, we popped in here only for beers so this review is simply based on that. It was a busy Saturday afternoon with kids Birthday parties going on, a packed alley and Pizza and Coca-Cola constantly being brought out it was easy to tell the kitchen was swamped but I'm surprised staff was that swamped seeing as how I'd think Saturdays would be their busiest. Did someone call out? I say this because it took about five minutes before the bartender to free up and take our orders as she was helping out in the kitchen it seemed. That said, the beer selection here is excellent. Plenty of Domestics and IPAs to choose from. You'd think this was a full-on craft taproom. They have cocktails, shots and ciders too. A complete bar. Again, can't speak about the food, but perhaps in a return visit to bowl we'll try out the menu. One things for sure, they have the alcohol department covered here! read more

We went there on Saturday, 6/15/24, around noon. We ordered the combination type large 14" pizza, and it was excellent. I ordered a side of marinara like I always do; however, this marinara was seriously the best ever. The toppings were busted to the edge of the pizza like they should be. There was a vast selection of beers and great service. Great atmosphere along with great service with a smile. Looking forward to returning soon! read more

The online ordering system is not available. I called to place an order to go and the girl who answered asked me to wait on hold for "one second." I proceeded to wait for 10 minutes without anyone returning to the call. I hung up and called back, but the line was busy, so I drove to the location. After waiting several minutes at the bar and being ignored, I walked back to the front counter. I explained I wanted to order a pizza to go and asked how long I would need to wait. I was told 30-40 minutes. At this point it was already 40 minutes after I originally tried to order on the phone and was not willing to wait that much longer, so I left. Only go here if you have plenty of time to wait around on the staff with no care of time management. You'll likely be waiting around quite a while. read more

Attended a bowling league for my disabled relative. She feels she can bowl on her own. I love bowling and it appears my presence is not needed. So, i now have about three hours, to do whatever I wanted to. Well, let's go to Vault 177 and kill some time. walking into the bar, the first thing I noticed, was the tight connection between staff and patrons. Seems there is a regular rotation of regulars here. A good sign. There is a plaque or notice of some sort, that the Shoreline School District holds regular weekly meetings here. Although i am not a regular, the staff is still polite to me. However, it seems 85% of the bar is regulars. I ordered chicken carbonara and white wine. Unfortunately, I'm not into craft beer. Which seems to be one of their specialties. However, the service and food was great. As regulars poured in, I did feel outside an exclusive club. The servers were still great to me and made me feel welcome. I wish I drank more and liked craft beers, because I know I could be a part of a group of regulars. Who really enjoy this place. Great chicken carbonara and wine. I do hang out for about two hours, unusual for me at a bar. i feel welcome. I had a good time here and if I was to have a regular drinking bar, Vault 177 has a welcoming atmosphere. read more

We've been twice, in May and June. Both times the food was delicious, fresh, and generous. Like, "take home the extra" generous, and fairly priced. Beers are plenty, and the wings were the best. The atmosphere is open, sports screens from every angle and the remodeling was really done right. The music was popular and fun. There was another large group and us, and the weather was gloomy and cold so we stayed inside, but we'll definitely be outside in the summer. But the best thing both times was the service-- friendly, interactive, funny, and informative. Everyone in Shoreline has an obligation to patronize Vault 177, we have so few really great dining establishments compared to E-Town. Going back today, I hope. read more

We have not been to this location since our son was very young and we hosted a birthday party for him probably 20+ years ago. The new owners are wonderful and the facility has been completely remodeled. The bar is top-notch with great drinks and food to match. We will definitely make it one of our regular stops since we are Shoreline residence. read more

This is the family friendly restaurant attached to Spin Alley. 10 or so tables seating about 50 people. Standard bar food. The burgers are solid. No fish and chips, which I find odd, but no big deal. The fries are excellent. There is a full bar and a really nice little seasonal cocktail program. Solid tap list, too. The restaurant is attached to the bowling alley through a billiards room so you can kill a pretty varied night here! Plenty of parking, usually. Your tab can follow you through the whole place and they do serve the bowling alley drinks and food. Go have fun! read more

Best thing about this place is the killer playlist. I came here on a Thursday, so it was pretty slow. The bartender was also the server and she was so friendly and helpful and fun. My Moscow mule was perfect! Partner got an IPA per usual, so not much to report there. We both got the veggie burger, one with tots, the other with onion rings. the burger tasted like I could have made it at home. Tasty, sure, but not at all worth the price. Best food item was the onion rings. There's also an attached bowling alley that I hope to come back for. The last thing I want to comment on is a weird one. The bathroom. I walked in and immediately felt like I was in my grandma's church. The appliances, the decor, the smell. I have no idea the history of the building, but I'd put money on this being a church 20-30 years ago that got remodeled into a restaurant. read more

Great service! We bowled with the family then came in after for pizzas. They were preparing to shut down for the night but decided to accomodate us. The kitchen staff, the bar staff, the entire restaurant were extremely friendly, cordial and professional. We ordered 3 pizzas! The kids were delighted. We stopped in to visit this new locally owned restaurant. It's been completely remodeled and very well done as it is now completely separated from the bowling alley you can't even hear it. So many taps to choose from, wide variety of foods to choose from, and great service. What a great addition to the neighborhood. If you get a chance, go visit Vault 177 read more

I have dined at this restaurant several times now with a large group of friends. The food has been great every time. The happy hour menu has lots of choices and the prices are good. The service has also been excellent every time. There's a patio for outside dining when the weather is good. Lots of tables in the bar area too. I don't drink beer but my friends say they have a great beer selection. Always have a great experience here. read more

I met a friend here yesterday whom I haven't seen in over twenty years and we decided to go in for drinks, but ended up having dinner. I had been craving quesadillas since returning from Texas so I was very happy to see them on the menu. The server was very nice and attentive. They brought out my quesadillas and I had ordered them with no veggies. I think the waitress was worried that I wouldn't like them because there were a few peppers in them. Honestly I could barely taste them and the quesadillas were amazing, but I really appreciated the server's honesty. This was my first visit, not only to this restaurant but also to the Richmond Beach area. It's surprisingly not too far away from me, so I will come back soon. The menu looked great and my friend ordered a bacon peanut butter burger which she thought she was going to hate but ended up loving it. I'm gonna pass on that since I don't eat burgers, but there are plenty of other things on the menu to try next time! It was fun to go to a new place! The pizza had a good flavor of sauce and cheese. The ambiance was great. They had a Mariners game playing and good music. First visit to the newly-opened Vault 177 restaurant, and it was big hit with the family! It's a neighborhood craft beer and craft food place done right. The Shotown burger was well-seasoned with a nice crust, crispy bacon, and the beer cheese and red pepper jelly were a knockout combo. The fries are hand cut, double fried, and delicious, and the sweet potato fries equally hand cut, crispy, and well-executed. Kids destroyed the homemade mac and cheese, and wife loved the very crispy beeri-yaki chicken sandwich. The beer list is well curated with some hard to finds like the brand new Fremont fresh hop release, obscure microbrews, and standards like Manny's. The server's recommendations were spot on. We ate on a comfortable patio outside. The inside was open for seating, spacious layout, and had good airflow. Everything felt clean and safe. Great service, met the owner too. We're so glad a neighborhood joint opened so close to us and that the food and drinks delivered. We'll be back! read more

This restaurant/bar is really great. You can sit at the bar, tables, and outside. Huge variety of beers. Food is so good. We had the special pizza and salad and it was really good. The bowling alley is also connected to the restaurant/bar. A must to go to. Easy to find and service is excellent.
