Rockefeller oysters
Clifford C.

Oh my God I have to say I have asked for Rockefeller oysters and they delivered biggest oysters. Best seasoning Spanish bread cheese in this Rockefeller oyster that I have had you gotta try it. It's the best. I'm hoping they keep it as a regular item.

A hidden gem, 5 star experience for sure! An adorable spot on the river in downtown Snohomish that serves up fresh, delicious seafood items. They had so many amazing sounding items on the menu it was hard to choose - steamers, fish & chips, oysters, tacos, chowders, etc. I had a cup of chowder ($7) and 2 pieces of fried cod a la carte ($4.75 each). Perfect on a cozy, overcast PNW day. The chowder was incredible and so hot I burned my mouth. The fish was also PHENOMENOL - the fish pieces were large and fresh and the batter is crispy and herby. Also served so fresh & hot it burned my mouth. It's one of those one in a million moments where a burned mouth is totally worth it, lol! The staff are so upbeat and nice despite it being super crowded. The interior is casual and has "fishery" vibes. There is a small amount of seating and an open kitchen.

Cute little gem on Main Street in historic downtown Snohomish! First off, the vibes are fun. The art on the interior is cute and adds a lot to the place. The food is great. I especially suggest their beer batter for the fish and chips, and also the clam chowder. If you want to sample a little bit of everything, grab a captains platter. They have a great list of beers on tap. In summer there is a decent size patio, and they will have the doors open and air flowing, it feels great! The only downfall is it's right on the street so road noise is loud. One of my top recommendations in downtown Snohomish!

Alaskan Beer Battered Cod

Excellent beer battered Alaskan cod! The gumbo is amazing (but a little spicy). We loved the fresh and the bbq'd oysters. My husband and I split the seafood linguine. Service was great! Highly recommend!

We were craving fish and chips for lunch today and found Andy's through a quick Google search--so glad we did! It's a small spot, but the service was fast and friendly. We both ordered the fish and chips, and they were super delicious--crispy, fresh, and exactly what we were hoping for. My BF also got the seafood gumbo, which was packed with flavor and just as tasty. Overall, a great experience! We'll definitely be back.

Andy's is our go to place for seafood. They have one of the best atmosphere's, chefs and staff. Their food is absolutely amazing. I don't love just one thing on their menu, I love all of it.

Halibut and pineapple slaw

Great outdoor patio, great location, delicious food, and attentive service. Really loved this hidden gem.

Menu Dec-2024

What a delightful surprise - Andy's fish house is a foodie-quality establishment in a location where I expected OK food, but nothing special. For the fish tacos there was a choice of fried, blackened or grilled - and Alaskan cod, halibut, or salmon -- and of course shrimp, prawns, scallops, or combinations. And we didn't begin to address the full reach of the menu, which on that day included an ono special. We had the chowder (quite good). We followed that with tacos (on Taco Tuesday) with blackened cod, and grilled halibut -- each came with its own sauce, and they were delightful. We topped it off with iced tea, though they had a bar available (we had a drive ahead of us, so passed on that). The restaurant is in what appears to be a former gas station or auto-shop, and it has a warm industrial look to it. The staff was friendly and helpful. And while the weather wasn't great, there was plenty of outdoor seating which must be quite wonderful in the summer. Next time we're in Snohomish, we'll be going back - it was great, and there are so many things to try.

Oysters Oyster Shooter Seafood Gumbo

Love being here on a sunny day. The oyster shooters are the best. Fried foods were okay probably could use a little more seasoning. The green sauce that came with the flautas was delicious.

I had the fish and chips supper tasty! The fish was light and crispy perfect potion. Fries were perfect. Loved sitting outside and the service was excellent! The only drawback was parking, street parking only.

My family loves to come here in the summer for their open seating right on First St.. They have a nice selection of fresh seafood and we always have a fun time with the servers! I would definitely recommend getting reservations--for in the summer they get pretty busy:)

Came here on a Thursday. Found street parking fairly quick, but I can see it being on the harder side on the weekends. Super nice small town with lots of mom and pop shops around to check out if there is a wait. The food came out super quick and the service was very efficient and satisfactory. The fried oysters were amazing and juicy, the same goes for the fish and chips. The density of the fish that was given was very generous. I wasn't the biggest fan of the fries when compared to the onion rings. My favorite dish was the prawn tacos. They really don't skim out on the portion sizes. The clam chowder was very unique from all other clam chowders that I have had in the past. Definitely give it a try! The seafood linguine, surprisingly again. They didn't skip out on any of the seafood included. The scallops were cooked perfectly!

Coleslaw

The service was great! We were seated right away. It's a garage style restaurant and very laid back. The fish and chips were delicious. We liked the panko better. The beer battered cod was too thick and we ended up removing most of the coating. The fries were mostly small pieces and nothing special. It was just mediocre and nothing special.

Used to really like them but they used to have cod. Now it's Rockfish for the same price. It tastes fishier to me. Probably won't go back.

We ordered an abundant spread, and every dish impressed. The clear crowd favorite was the Singapore black pepper prawns - fragrant, perfectly spiced, and completely addictive. That black pepper sauce was hands down the star of the meal: rich, peppery, and deeply flavorful. It was my favorite and could easily be eaten on everything. The Mala curry crab and XO crab were both outstanding; layered with complex, indulgent flavors. The Thai green chili clams and saus mentega clams were vibrant and comforting, while the crab fried rice had generous morsels of crab folded throughout the dish. We also really enjoyed the Indonesian chicken wings, which were crispy and flavorful, and the stir-fried vegetables, which added a fresh, well-balanced contrast to the seafood-heavy menu. Everything traveled well, was thoughtfully prepared, and made for an unforgettable catered meal. If you're considering catering from Marimakan Crabhouse, I can't recommend it highly enough. Get the black pepper sauce! Amazing from start to finish, and Chef V or Rachel is lovely to work with.

I loved the variety of sauces and the staff's help in picking exactly what we wanted. We paired them with different types of drinks that complemented the flavors very well. For our entrées, we all ordered the Sea Bass given the high remarks we had heard, and it did not disappoint at all. It was delicious and definitely worth the price point. Perfectly salted butter, and the taste reminded me of sourdough but the texture of the bread itself was like a very crispy crunchy outer layer over a martin's potato roll. - The Grand (3/5): I learned that I am definitely not a shellfish person.. so keep in mind of my biased take! I wish the waiter explained what came on our plate, but he quickly scooted away. The scallops were my favorite. Nice and mild and sweet flavor. The grand also came with 6 sauces to pair. Wasn't sure which sauce went best with which, but doesn't hurt to try? shell on shrimp and lobster claw were the second and third bests in my opinion. - Grilled Black-eyed Perch (4/5): got a smaller 1.2 lb fish. Can get it grilled and fried. Fried is ~$4 more. This fish was around 38-39/lb at the time of writing. Flavors were so great! Not a bony fish at all and didn't have to really pick at it. A tad dry in certain parts, but again, nice salty, zesty from the lemon and herbaceous. This place is definitely on the $$$ side, so can see ppl coming here for special occasions.

The sauce for my spicy wontons tasted like its been sitting in cornstarch and flavor for a bit, and the clams I had was a confusing flavor. The walnut shrimp wraps were just okay and pork shumai was the only decent thing I had there. I would not come here for food again, but they have their location and setting on point.
