We came for Brunch, very nice place simple and nothing extravagant, nice historical decor, staff were friendly, our server was very knowledgeable and was on top of everything. Food was delicious and huge portions! We enjoyed everything, don't get too full because you definitely have to try the desserts! Highly recommended!

Service was okay. Food awful. Burned veggies "purple carrots". should not have a burned flavour meatloaf had so much red sauce it was over powering. Never had meatloaf fried. Never to return after a long hiatus

So Memorial Day I didn't plan to go out but some friends took us out for my wife's birthday which was the day prior. We agreed to try the crystal cafe in Bothell and fingers crossed it's good. We arrived and as expected it was a bit of a wait. While waiting I noticed a lot of people coming out with clear containers of biscuits. I prefer toast but I was intrigued. I ordered the chicken fried steak and two others also tried the steak. Another accompaniment had the chicken fingers and the bleu burger. We tore up everything it was so good except the hash browns could use some seasoning but the biscuits were a total win.

There food is classic diner fair. The service - once you get in - is good. The problem is they close with no notice and without posting seemingly anywhere. The bar will unexpectedly be closed. The whole restaurant will be suddenly closed early with no info on social media except a sign on the door. This also happens at the partner locations in Sammamish, so this is an organizational problem. I don't mind you deciding to close earlier on a holiday. Or for training. But for the love of hecking heck, would you post on one of your many social media accounts when you close early so we don't speed precious $5.50 gas driving up there? We checked your Facebook before driving up - no notice of closing early. We checked your website - no notice of closing early. I checked both instagram account (don't know which one is real) - no notice. Please use one of your social media accounts to post when you're closing early. That's all

Quite the busy place on a Sunday morning. We luckily found they had an online sign in sheet so we did that which gave us about 25 minutes to get there. We made it with a few minutes to spare and were seated immediately. Otherwise we heard them telling people it was a 40 minute wait. The waitress we had was super friendly and funny and kept our coffee flowing which was surprising for as busy as they were. Now the food. I ordered the hobo scramble with pancakes and a side of bacon. The scramble was really good except to much sour cream thrown on top (ask for it on the side). The pancakes were nice and fluffy but the bacon, it was excellent. Good thick pieces cooked to the right amount of crispy. Overall I give this 4 stars. Only because it was so crowded and loud, which is not there fault just super busy

The Alfredo sauce was the consistency of bland library paste and the prawns were so overcooked and tough and dried out. My friend had the polo Gorgonzola and it had no flavor at all. The server was excellent and that was the ONLY pleasant of the experience. IMO it was also very overpriced considering the low quality of the food. I don't recommend this place to anybody.

We were a party of nine, and it felt like the staff wasn't prepared to handle a group our size. Our waitress, Monique, seemed unhappy to be serving us and was largely inattentive throughout the meal. Early on, someone at our table accidentally spilled a drink. Not a single staff member stepped in to help. We used all of our napkins trying to clean it ourselves, and eventually someone from our party had to get up and grab a rag from a nearby service station. Even as bussers walked by, no one offered assistance. We finally flagged one down, handed over the soaked napkins, and asked for replacements, but we were given one fewer napkin than we needed. Our waitress arrived only after everything had been cleaned up and acted as though nothing had happened. We also had to ask for the complimentary table bread because it never arrived on its own. The food was equally underwhelming. Both my steak and my wife's steak were ordered medium rare but were served medium. One guest's clam pasta arrived cold. Another ordered the lasagna, which was so lacking in flavor that he poured the garlic-infused oil over it just to make it edible. The chicken Marsala was also bland and needed salt. To finish, the tiramisu was disappointingly dry. Interestingly, our waitress's attitude noticeably improved toward the end of the meal once a manager appeared to be making rounds. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially for a restaurant we had looked forward to trying for years and for a special celebration. Between the poor service and mediocre food, we won't be returning.

I was really happy I was able to get a twice baked potato, because I find them as a delicacy that are slowly fading away. I loved how all the flavors in this just came together so well. And it was definitely the star of the show. For the prime rib sandwich, I found that when paired with the au jus, it came together quite well. I noticed my friend got horseradish with his dish, but I didn't get it with mine. When I added some of that to the sandwich, it elevated it even more. I tried a bite of my friend's prime rib and it was pretty solid. The crispy onion was really good too. The fries from my friend's burger weren't bad either.
