Avocado toast
Sahitya M.

Love this place for a great brunch or breakfast. The ambience, there is something about it that makes it feel so homely. The staff are very friendly and typically there is always some wait time over the weekends. The food is amazing and makes you want to come again. Totally going back again for the avocado toast

This little place fit the bill! Quaint atmosphere, excellent service, and great food! And plenty of it! I'm getting two meals out of the dad's platter. Highly recommend but maybe ask for crisp bacon. Lol.

Classic diner. Long, diverse menu. Great service. Lots of seating. Good vibes. We need more of this sort of thing.

We've been coming here quite a bit and every time we're happy with the food and service. This time I tried the bacon cheeseburger with fried which was great, as well as a cappuccino. It's family friendly and offer high chair for toddlers and they are very accommodating when someone has dietary restrictions.

Delicious breakfast! The cafe was very welcoming and clean with large windows for people watching. My favorite breakfast is veggie eggs Benedict , this did not disappoint- eggs were soft and sauce was creamy, English muffin was crispy with spinach and avocado. My husband enjoyed the French toast with scrambled eggs and potatoes. I like the option to order a half portion for each menu item. The server was polite and attentive. Next time I'm in town I'll just stop by! Tip- pet friendly patio!

I came here with a friend and I was surprised at how busy it was on a Wednesday morning. We were seated quickly though. It's pretty cozy and homey feeling. I tried the curry salad worth a side of bacon. The portion is pretty generous as I was stuffed after. Food was pretty standard in my opinion. Service was ok, I wish they would refill my water but they never came back to check on us much. Overall, it was more of a 3.5 star

One of my fav brunch spots on the east side. We always order their crab benedict and southwest scramble here. Absolutely delicious brunch items. I have also tried their waffles, pancakes and havent yet ordered and item that was just okay. Every item was amazing here. They have a good selection of drinks as well. Their bloody mary and irish coffees are my fav. Service is quick. On a sunny day I love sitting in their outdoor patio and enjoying my brunch. I wish you'll had a branch in downtown seattle but this place is totally worth the drive! Highly recommend.

Sriracha Burger (sub chicken! Sub Swiss! No veggies) with maple bacon and sriracha mayo.

Decided to ride our bikes to breakfast on a sunny Sunday. We arrived at the witching hour (which is what I call the breakfast rush!) It was completely out of character for me, but I ordered the sriracha burger instead of the standard breakfast fare. I'll blame it on the 10 mile bike ride it took to get there! The burger was delicious. I did not regret my decision one bit! The maple bacon paired with sriracha sauce and Swiss cheese was *chefs kiss*! (It normally comes with pepper jack cheese but I like Swiss.) The fries were delicious too. Crunchy and batter-y with a soft center. Next time I'll definitely try the breakfast!

Found a Groupon deal for Alexa's Cafe and we were pleasantly surprised by the food! We came for brunch on a Sunday and waited about 20 minutes or so for a table. The restaurant is decently sized, with a lot of tables inside but unfortunately has a bit of a wait out the door. It's easy to find in downtown Bothell since the area around it is pretty unassuming. I got the sausage gravy and biscuits and the bread was soft and the gravy was not too salty. The service was speedy and the food tasted very much like a home-cooked meal. I'd be tempted to come again on a weekday or something like that!

Yesterday was my first time at Alexa's. I had a wonderful experience! The staff was attentive and upbeat. Our service was very quick. I really appreciated the food options! You can get gluten free bread and switch out potato's for zucchini or tomatoes. Made my meal much more enjoyable. It's a casual atmosphere and quite busy for a Monday morning- I can only imagine this place is packed on weekends. Looking forward to my next trip in!

So good and very busy dinner the weekday lunch hour! My boyfriend works across the street and frequents this establishment quite often. His favorite meal there is a tuna melt with a Ceasar salad. Everytime he sends me pictures the Ceasar salad is always consistently green. I had the fish and chips. The homemade tartar is amazing and the fish was battered to perfection. They were served with seasoned fries so my food was even better! I loved squeezing my lemon wedge on each bite I took. Soo good!

Mimosas for breakfast
Tasha L.

After a half day at work dealing with clients , my team and I were looking for a great brunch spot, and mimosas were a MUST! This cate was recommended by a coworker, and we had to try it! Our wait staff were so friendly, the mimosas came out right away and we didn't wait too long after for our food. The food was amazing! The breakfast potatoes were my favorite part!

The pups liked the shade

Walked the dogs on a Sunday morning before the heat came and decided to see what the wait for this place might be. Was only about 10 minutes which was great. We got seated at a table outside in the shade, and the dogs sat in their own chair on a blanket. The waitress was very nice and quickly came to take our beverage orders. We ordered coffee and an iced tea, which were both tasty. A few minutes later, she came to take our food order, and we ordered a Southwest scramble size large and a veggie scramble size small. The food came out quickly, which was surprising because they were pretty busy. Both of us really enjoyed our food, and it was tasty and fresh. The veggie scramble had a good amount of thinly sliced vegetables in it, which was healthy, and the side of potatoes was flavorful and cooked to the right consistency. It was almost too many potatoes for both of us since they were cut in pretty big chunks. I had a piece of rye bread from the bakery across the street. My husband ordered a pancake instead of toast. I did not like the caraway in the rye, but I ate it anyway since I know it is healthy. I put some raspberry jam on the bread which tasted good. The waitress stopped by a few times to check if everything was OK and refill our drinks which was wonderful. All in all, the dogs and we had a good time, and the food was a little less expensive than some of the other places we tend to go to. I would go here again with the kids as a special treat or if we were in the area around breakfast or lunch time once in awhile since going out anywhere nowadays with a family can get quite pricy!

About 10 minutes from the Woodenville winery. As we stepped inside, a warm and enchanting ambiance wrapped around us, filled with the harmonious sounds of clinking glasses and plates that blended in perfect harmony. The heavenly aroma of freshly prepared food wafted through the air, teasing our senses and building excitement while the cozy decor instantly elevated our mood. With an exceptional selection of wine and drinks, plus captivating indoor and outdoor seating, it seemed every whim was thoughtfully catered to. Despite arriving at 1:00 to a lively crowd, we were seated promptly, thanks to the impeccable and exceptional service. Our server's remarkable attentiveness and expertise set the tone for a truly unforgettable meal, and another staff member exceeded our expectations, sharing delightful stories about all their special events, such as Happy Hour and Wine Wednesday, and inviting us back for dinner. She shared that the biscuits we inquired about were made in-house, a testament to the restaurant's pursuit of excellence. With customer service that inspires and leaves a lasting impression, we can't wait to return and relish the experience once more. I highly recommend the Biscuits and gravy, Eggs Benedict, or the Cottage Breakfast; all were truly spectacular! This place truly deserves a spot on your must-visit list, and I highly recommend it.

Loved loved loved the croissant french toast, my only recommendation to chef is to serve it with fresh/whipped cream instead of butter. Other than that, it was fantastic! The shoestring hash brown was so beautiful and intricately cooked, I didn't want to eat it coz it looked that pretty! The croissant sandwich was deliciously cooked! It was flaky and so nicely grilled! Loved how well done it was! The caprese sandwich was fantastic! The bread used was perfect, the Waldorf salad with it was was beautiful and tasty! Can't wait to be back! One less star because service is still very slow! The servers are super kind but all over the place unable to manage and not coordinated.

The patio was buzzing but we snagged a couple of Adirondack chairs around the fire pit and suddenly realized how perfect it was. Now. The espresso martini. Another plus is that Woodinville Whiskey Distillary is 25ft away as they share the same parking lot. We don't frequent Hollywood Tavern as it was our first time, but it was just too easy to drop by for a snack before stopping by the distillary. Found a table in the bar area that was just right with beautiful view of the whiskey bottles lining the window. We got prompt attention and reviewed the menu for the snack. I was about to get fish and chips but was steered toward the Cubano pork sandwich with french fries. My wife got a caesar salad with romaine instead of kale and we decided to try the fried pickles too. No drinks other than water as we had plans afterward. The positives is the location, the atmosphere and they had all the pub fare you would expect. The only thing that dampened the pleasure was everything the fries, the sandwich, the salad, and even the sauces tastes quite salty to me. My wife mentioned to me seeing red edges on the romaine in her salad typically meaning not as fresh as it should have been. Definitely a nice place for beer drinking in the bar or outside on the patio during these springtime days. Not sure of the root cause of the over seasoning, but I'll ask for lighter next time.

Even with a reservation, we did have to wait a bit, but it was Valentine's Day, so totally understandable given how busy Italian spots get. Parking was pretty convenient with spaces both in front and behind the restaurant, and if those are full, it's close to the Totem Lake area so there are other options nearby. The ambiance was definitely unique--lots of mannequins, motorcycles, and a sort of roadshow vibe. It felt fun, a little quirky, and different from your typical Italian restaurant. Service was good overall, especially considering how busy it was. Our server was attentive enough and kept things moving smoothly. We started with bread and butter--nothing particularly special, but still enjoyable. The garlic herb compound butter oddly felt nostalgic and reminded me of childhood. For appetizers, we got the meatballs, which were hearty and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the seafood pasta in a wine cream sauce and really enjoyed it. There was a good amount of seafood--not super crab-heavy, but enough to get a few nice bites--and the sauce itself was light and well-balanced. My husband ordered the chicken parm, which he said was good but leaned a bit on the bland side. Overall, it feels like a solid neighborhood Italian spot. Definitely a place we'd come back to when we're in the area.

I got the combo - Hawaiian chicken + karaage requesting extra salad instead of rice, as well as a half order of loco moco. It's nice that there is half order as a lot of Hawaiian restaurants tend to be full orders so it is incredibly hard to try a variety of options if you're solo or in a small group. The Hawaiian chicken and karaage both are juicy and delicious. It's great that the combo is the same price as the standard individual options so I got to try more variety without paying extra. I looked at the reviews and opted to remove the rice and get extra salad which was a good move - their chop chop salad is very delicious with a nice balance of dressing, cheese, and ham. I still had some rice from the loco moco, which was sufficient for me. The loco moco is good - I wished the patty was a bit less tough but the gravy and egg make up for it.
