Classic diner. Long, diverse menu. Great service. Lots of seating. Good vibes. We need more of this sort of thing.

Big portions, all American breakfast! Even the toast is thick with pre-lathered butter Servers were attentive especially since I was in a rush. They gave me my bill very early which was helpful. Fun atmosphere because of the big open dining area!

We've been coming here quite a bit and every time we're happy with the food and service. This time I tried the bacon cheeseburger with fried which was great, as well as a cappuccino. It's family friendly and offer high chair for toddlers and they are very accommodating when someone has dietary restrictions.

Delicious breakfast! The cafe was very welcoming and clean with large windows for people watching. My favorite breakfast is veggie eggs Benedict , this did not disappoint- eggs were soft and sauce was creamy, English muffin was crispy with spinach and avocado. My husband enjoyed the French toast with scrambled eggs and potatoes. I like the option to order a half portion for each menu item. The server was polite and attentive. Next time I'm in town I'll just stop by! Tip- pet friendly patio!

I came here with a friend and I was surprised at how busy it was on a Wednesday morning. We were seated quickly though. It's pretty cozy and homey feeling. I tried the curry salad worth a side of bacon. The portion is pretty generous as I was stuffed after. Food was pretty standard in my opinion. Service was ok, I wish they would refill my water but they never came back to check on us much. Overall, it was more of a 3.5 star

One of my fav brunch spots on the east side. We always order their crab benedict and southwest scramble here. Absolutely delicious brunch items. I have also tried their waffles, pancakes and havent yet ordered and item that was just okay. Every item was amazing here. They have a good selection of drinks as well. Their bloody mary and irish coffees are my fav. Service is quick. On a sunny day I love sitting in their outdoor patio and enjoying my brunch. I wish you'll had a branch in downtown seattle but this place is totally worth the drive! Highly recommend.

Sriracha Burger (sub chicken! Sub Swiss! No veggies) with maple bacon and sriracha mayo.

Decided to ride our bikes to breakfast on a sunny Sunday. We arrived at the witching hour (which is what I call the breakfast rush!) It was completely out of character for me, but I ordered the sriracha burger instead of the standard breakfast fare. I'll blame it on the 10 mile bike ride it took to get there! The burger was delicious. I did not regret my decision one bit! The maple bacon paired with sriracha sauce and Swiss cheese was *chefs kiss*! (It normally comes with pepper jack cheese but I like Swiss.) The fries were delicious too. Crunchy and batter-y with a soft center. Next time I'll definitely try the breakfast!

Found a Groupon deal for Alexa's Cafe and we were pleasantly surprised by the food! We came for brunch on a Sunday and waited about 20 minutes or so for a table. The restaurant is decently sized, with a lot of tables inside but unfortunately has a bit of a wait out the door. It's easy to find in downtown Bothell since the area around it is pretty unassuming. I got the sausage gravy and biscuits and the bread was soft and the gravy was not too salty. The service was speedy and the food tasted very much like a home-cooked meal. I'd be tempted to come again on a weekday or something like that!

Yesterday was my first time at Alexa's. I had a wonderful experience! The staff was attentive and upbeat. Our service was very quick. I really appreciated the food options! You can get gluten free bread and switch out potato's for zucchini or tomatoes. Made my meal much more enjoyable. It's a casual atmosphere and quite busy for a Monday morning- I can only imagine this place is packed on weekends. Looking forward to my next trip in!

So good and very busy dinner the weekday lunch hour! My boyfriend works across the street and frequents this establishment quite often. His favorite meal there is a tuna melt with a Ceasar salad. Everytime he sends me pictures the Ceasar salad is always consistently green. I had the fish and chips. The homemade tartar is amazing and the fish was battered to perfection. They were served with seasoned fries so my food was even better! I loved squeezing my lemon wedge on each bite I took. Soo good!

The pups liked the shade

Walked the dogs on a Sunday morning before the heat came and decided to see what the wait for this place might be. Was only about 10 minutes which was great. We got seated at a table outside in the shade, and the dogs sat in their own chair on a blanket. The waitress was very nice and quickly came to take our beverage orders. We ordered coffee and an iced tea, which were both tasty. A few minutes later, she came to take our food order, and we ordered a Southwest scramble size large and a veggie scramble size small. The food came out quickly, which was surprising because they were pretty busy. Both of us really enjoyed our food, and it was tasty and fresh. The veggie scramble had a good amount of thinly sliced vegetables in it, which was healthy, and the side of potatoes was flavorful and cooked to the right consistency. It was almost too many potatoes for both of us since they were cut in pretty big chunks. I had a piece of rye bread from the bakery across the street. My husband ordered a pancake instead of toast. I did not like the caraway in the rye, but I ate it anyway since I know it is healthy. I put some raspberry jam on the bread which tasted good. The waitress stopped by a few times to check if everything was OK and refill our drinks which was wonderful. All in all, the dogs and we had a good time, and the food was a little less expensive than some of the other places we tend to go to. I would go here again with the kids as a special treat or if we were in the area around breakfast or lunch time once in awhile since going out anywhere nowadays with a family can get quite pricy!

Alexa's Cafe is definitely a neighborhood gem. The decor gives me a warm, welcoming feeling. Together with the friendly wait staff, I feel like I am eating at a friend's house. Their menu offers a great selection of breakfast and lunch dishes. With generous portion sizes and great tasting food, I have no choice but to keep coming back.

He was wonderful at making us feel comfortable with any decision based on the options that he offered us and as a detail-oriented person, asked how we liked things specifically. He was excellent at describing the dishes and we were really excited to hear about the awesome happy hours at Von's and just what Von's is really all about. Waiters usually ask once how you're doing, but Erich is great at checking in at key points throughout the meal. I can tell that he's a lovely person overall and a gentleman. Von's is very lucky to have him! The food is really great too. Pizza in general no matter where it's from is a treat, but the sourdough pizza here takes the cake (pizza?). Knowing that it's sourdough really elevates the experience. We also had the sourdough pasta. Every menu option sounded enticing, and we knew whatever we ordered was going to be good.

A big part of that was Dave, our attentive, friendly, and quietly confident waiter who made the whole experience feel like we were being welcomed into someone's home. Dave explained that everything at Von's is made from scratch, and he talked about the menu the way a good tour guide talks about a city: with enthusiasm, insider knowledge, and just enough charm to make you trust every recommendation. He steered us toward an appetizer of clams in tomato sauce. For the main course, he suggested the pasta with salmon. Both were excellent. Throughout the meal, Dave checked in at just the right moments--never hovering, never disappearing, always making sure we had what we needed. The kind of service that makes you feel taken care of without ever feeling managed. All in all, a terrific first visit, made even better by someone who clearly takes pride in the place. We'll be asking for Dave next time.

I really enjoyed my cider! It was refreshing and I would definitely get it again. As for food, we got fries with truffle oil and a monster cookie with vanilla ice cream. It was all so good! I would only say that the fries are in need of more salt but that's something I could've easily asked for (was too lazy in the moment). Service: (5/5) STELLAR staff here. Another plus is that Woodinville Whiskey Distillary is 25ft away as they share the same parking lot. We don't frequent Hollywood Tavern as it was our first time, but it was just too easy to drop by for a snack before stopping by the distillary. Found a table in the bar area that was just right with beautiful view of the whiskey bottles lining the window. We got prompt attention and reviewed the menu for the snack. I was about to get fish and chips but was steered toward the Cubano pork sandwich with french fries. My wife got a caesar salad with romaine instead of kale and we decided to try the fried pickles too. No drinks other than water as we had plans afterward. The positives is the location, the atmosphere and they had all the pub fare you would expect. The only thing that dampened the pleasure was everything the fries, the sandwich, the salad, and even the sauces tastes quite salty to me. My wife mentioned to me seeing red edges on the romaine in her salad typically meaning not as fresh as it should have been. Definitely a nice place for beer drinking in the bar or outside on the patio during these springtime days. Not sure of the root cause of the over seasoning, but I'll ask for lighter next time.

For the mains, I tried the zucchini linguine while my husband ordered the sausage rigatoni, and he looooved it. I ended up loving it too after trying a few bites! The ambiance was definitely unique--lots of mannequins, motorcycles, and a sort of roadshow vibe. It felt fun, a little quirky, and different from your typical Italian restaurant. Service was good overall, especially considering how busy it was. Our server was attentive enough and kept things moving smoothly. We started with bread and butter--nothing particularly special, but still enjoyable. The garlic herb compound butter oddly felt nostalgic and reminded me of childhood. For appetizers, we got the meatballs, which were hearty and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the seafood pasta in a wine cream sauce and really enjoyed it. There was a good amount of seafood--not super crab-heavy, but enough to get a few nice bites--and the sauce itself was light and well-balanced. It's nice that there is half order as a lot of Hawaiian restaurants tend to be full orders so it is incredibly hard to try a variety of options if you're solo or in a small group. The Hawaiian chicken and karaage both are juicy and delicious. It's great that the combo is the same price as the standard individual options so I got to try more variety without paying extra. I looked at the reviews and opted to remove the rice and get extra salad which was a good move - their chop chop salad is very delicious with a nice balance of dressing, cheese, and ham.
