My wife and I met our friends here to watch The Graduates - a Simon and Garfunkel tribute. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. SnoTown is kid and dog friendly. SnoTown doesn't have a kitchen onsite; however, outside food is allowed. SnoTown offers several menus to surrounding restaurants to choose from. A complimentary popcorn machine filled with delicious salty popcorn is staged near the bar area. Pairs perfectly with ice cold beer. SnoTown does not offer table service so all orders are placed at the counter. Credit cards are held if running a tab. There wasn't a cover charge for the band The Graduates. Be sure to have cash on hand so that you can tip your entertainment. SnoTown was standing room only during this event. The Graduates did an outstanding job. It was amazing to listen to a packed brewery singing along to "Bridge Over Troubled Water." Pints of beer were $5 each. I was drinking Frank the Tank IPA and my wife was drinking Bear Claw Porter. Both were tasty slurps. We ordered dinner from Brava's Pizza and Pasta: www.bravaspizza.com. Brava's charged a $2.05 delivery fee. Gave this place a shot with some friends from of town. Will not go back. Ambience was ok - cool guitar wall...Beer was absolutely horrible. Between the four of us, we each got a pint of different beer. All of them were nearly the same color and tasted very similar. All tasted like the tap lines were bad or just something was off(kinda like apple cider vinegar). I'm not one to waste a frosty brew, but I could only stomach two or three sips. Such a waste of a great location in Snohomish! read more

My daughter and I were visiting the area from Texas and spotted this gem. Our plan was to stop for a beer and watch tail end of a football game and ended up staying for a couple of hours. The beer was great and we were treated like family. Highly recommend stopping by. read more

I tried 3 different beers, from fresh hop IPA to their coconut porter and wasn't thrilled with any of them. Neat little spot, decorated with tons of funny posters and guitars near the stage. Besides from the beer not being very great, there were tons of flies inside. I was with some friends when an employee told me they would be closing a little early and it was last call. I wanted to give one more beer a try, so I immediately ordered my last beer. 10 minutes later all the lights were turned off and we were quickly kicked out. I am not one to hold a place from closing, but if you are going to offer a last call because you want to close early then at least let your patrons finish their beer (I am not a slow drinker...). I think there are enough places to get beer within walking distance, I would not recommend unless you are out of options. read more

This brewery has the absolutely most welcoming and friendly group of folks! Snohomish is a small town north of Seattle and if you didn't know any better you think it was a movie set for the Hallmark channel. It's just a perfect small town. To go along with it, SnoTown brewery is the perfect little brewery. It's like a little "Cheers" because everyone knows everybody else and the bands that play are often made up of locals. I've never been to a brewery anything like it! I literally wanted to move there, and still do. If everyone would visit this brewery they also would want to move with me!! The beers and ciders are DEELISH! They do such a superb job crafting their products, and it shows. You absolutely have to visit because it's a little bit about the beers it's a little bit about the friends that show up, a dog here and there someone's child on their hip - it's just an absolutely fun hip place. read more

This is a great neighborhood brewery. I came here for the first time during the release party for the dog ale, and there were so many dogs! It's cool seeing breweries that are dog friendly, so I'll definitely be back with the pup. I had the raspberry blonde (I think that's what it was called) and it was delicious. This is a pretty cool place - there was a bulldog rescue fundraiser outside which made me really happy because I love dogs. The atmosphere was really cool, i loved the eclectic/casual feel, and the outdoors was a good size. I got the coconut porter which I really liked. My husband and i both wanted the smokey rye (but i let him get it : ). We were super bummed, i think there was something wrong with it. There was 0 smokeyness, it was flat, smelled/tasted sour. I told my husband to let them know and get a new beer but since he tasted it before he had them poor he didnt want to complain about it lol. We will go back regardless, the rest of the selection looked really good. read more

Small place. Set up doesn't seem to make the most of it, but it's cute. We were meeting friends for a birthday. Arrived quite early on accident. Sat down for over half an hour, no staff every spoke to us. So, you have to be aggressive for orders. No food, games or liquor. We ended up eating across the street, which was meh. Great atmosphere! Staff is fun and loves music, so live music is typically playing in the background during the summer months. Open mic night is Thursday evenings and a blast to listen to. Lots of local talent. They have their own seltzer which I am a huge fan of (and wish I could get in cans...better than any seltzer I have ever had). In a building that has been a dozen different grubby little businesses in the recent past, these guys have built a clean and bright taproom that doubles by day as a working brewhouse. When they're ready for crowds to come in, they grab some portable little wire fencing (pleasantly decorated), and cordon off the tanks and kettles from the tasting space. It's a cool transformation, and a great model for a little brewery to build up a following in the heart of town. It's right next to a busy Mexican restaurant, just a couple blocks up from the antique stores and restaurants that most people think of as the heart of downtown. It has nice semi-circular windows framed in by brick arches, and plenty of traffic driving by--good location. Through the main door, you see a long row of stools and a couple little circular tables. There's lots of industrial re-use happening here. The round tables used to be cable spools, the stools are upholstered with old barley malt bags; the ceiling tiles are old wooden pallets. It's visually witty, and hopefully saved them a few bucks. They've added a unisex bathroom, framed out a bit so you have room to turn around. As of this writing, you can still smell the fresh-cut 2x4s, which enhances the hand-made, bootstrappy feeling of the place. At the far end of the room there's a small bar with a nice tap lineup. There are half a dozen house beers and a guest tap, though no doubt these numbers will change all the time. You can get a growler to fill here, and they'll fill your growler if you bring it in. They turn over kegs quickly here, so if you like something that's on, fill that growler before the keg coughs. The house beers are nice malty American ales--blonds, ambers, IPAs, and so on. They're made well; they're clean and approachable. Only one (the IPA) had off flavors (a bit of popcorn butter), and one of us couldn't even taste it, so the lineup is damn near squeaky clean. They add fresh spicy peppers to one beer, and smoked spicy peppers to another. They add fresh basil and juicy Citra hops (taste like grapefruit) to their best beer, the Cit Bay Citrus Basil Ale. There aren't many basil beers out there, and it's not something everybody might love, but we both found it very refreshing and perfectly balanced. I could see this one selling out fast at a festival or on a hot day. There's a TV tuned to the game, and popcorn machine tuned to whatever you tune popcorn machines to. Sno Town, after much anticipation, is finally open! They are indeed a tiny operation, and one that pumps out tasty beer for the town of Snohomish. Cute rustic brewery on 2nd street, serving up about 5 beers. The gal and guy pouring were super nice, and I like the mason jars that everything is served in. The beer....The Cit-Bay Pale is weird but tasty, it's citrus basil as the title implies. Keri's blonde is ok. Down 2 Earth tastes more like a scotch than an IPA. Panther red rocks. Loose Rooster is spicy and I like it. For know they are missing a traditional NW IPA, but I appreciate their creativity! Def a must stop when you're in town, it's lively and fun so I can see myself being a regular. read more

I had been meaning to stop in here for quite some time and finally made it on a sunny afternoon. Nice enough interior and ample outdoor seating. Friendly staff. All the makings of a good watering hole...except the beers. Now I am a bit of a purest when it comes to beers. Give me a porter, stout, pilsner or lager and I am happy. But wait...they had none of the traditional choices. Citrus Basil (perhaps good for cooking), pepper and of course over hopped IPAs.If you are in to such fare this place is for you. If I could give 6 stars I would. 1) Dog friendly bar that is truly dog friendly. Puppy treats at the bar and lots of people stopping by to say hi to my pup. They have doggy events too! 2) Beer! My favorite was the raspberry blonde but I liked all of the beers in my flight (thanks for not making me try that jalapeno!) 3) The people. Even though I came alone, I didn't feel like the odd girl in the corner. 4) Community. There happened to be a fundraiser going on when I stopped in. There was no pressure to join in but there was a great vibe going on. 5) Live music. A few local musicians playing some tunes. Good times 6) Set up. Not too much space inside but a great patio area. Keri and Frank were extremely hospitable on our first visit to their establishment. Taste test before ordering what suits your palate. Great background music and interesting memorabilia with various guitars hanging up. Very relaxing atmosphere and lots of natural light shining through their big windows. On our recent trip to the Snohomish area Sno Town was our first brewery that we hit and it also happened to be our favorite. The reason why is that they have very creative and unique brews. Just the kind that I am looking for on my journey to visiting breweries that I have not been to yet or new ones. At Sno Town they had a Jalapeno blonde. The last Jalapeno Blonde I had many breweries ago was a bit flat. Not a problem at at this brewery y, not in the slightest! Their version of the beer had a good amount of carbonation and an excellent flavor! Steve got something even more unusual which I believe was called a Rooster Red which had roasted peppers in the brew. It could have been described as a less accessible beer or an acquired taste but we both loved the beer instantly! I know that I will be coming back to Sno Town! They had a Citrus Basil beer that looked amazing but alas it was sold out. I look forward to keeping an eye out on this brewery and their upcoming beer releases! Too bad I live in the south Seattle metro area and they are a ways north! read more

So, I had a flight of everything they had on tap. First I'll say the service was weak and it wasn't busy at all barely had it interaction with the people that work there at all.. as a first time customer first impression matters and that's one thing that will keep me from coming back.. as far as the flight one thing that kinda sucks is the give you 2oz pours most places give you 3 or more. The beer was ok, the only one that stood out was the Black Market ESB and it wasn't amazing but it was good... If I'm in the area I might try them again but won't go out my way again read more

Just came from Snotown and I have to say I'm quite impressed! The beer was excellent, most of which is brewed on site but occasionally you'll find another local beer on tap. I had the blonde and sampled the Licorice Stout, ESB and Jalapeño blonde, all were great, the blonde was my favorite although I'd easily drink a glass of the ESB. Frank, the owner, helped us out, he was easy to talk to made us feel welcome and even humored my husband by answering all his beer making questions. Snotown also has a variety of board games to play so you can interact with your friends or dare I say, challenge a stranger to a game of battleship instead of staring at your phone. When you visit don't leave your dogs or kids at home, they are dog and family friendly!! read more
