We were here once before, a year(ish) ago and liked it fine. Stopped in last week and found it out of this world. They have a smoker out front and were serving phenomenal Argentinian meats. First time at Middleton and it won't be the last. They have beer, phenomenal food, cute dogs and super friendly people. Operational wise everything is super smooth and efficient. Drinks are served quickly, food came out fast and the quality was on point. A huge convenience thing we loved here was that everything like napkins, utensils, and even beer mugs are out and ready for you to grab. The nachos definitely won me over, we stopped talking and ate until they were gone. I highly recommend the pretzel with cheese soup too. The cheese soup alone is delicious enough to have you scooping it with a spoon and eating it. Very smooth and easy to drink. I also had the Semper Fi honey blonde ale which is awesome and delicious. Very crushable! Girlfriend had the Double Tapered coconut brown ale which she said was tasty and smooth. We had a Hawaiian Pizza. It was very good!!! This is a nice little brewery tucked away behind some loading docks and commercial space. They have some covered outdoor picnic tables in the parking lot which is the sign that you are in the right place. They have a decent variety of beers with fun names like MonkeyButt. I enjoyed some of the ones with less common ingredients such as Thai Basil and ginger. The food isn't gourmet but it's tasty and plentiful. We got beer cheese soup with a pretzel, a salad, and a pizza. Sure they may be using premade pizza crusts and the same shredded three cheese blend on everything, but this is a brewery not a Michelin star restaurant! And anyways, cheese blend or no, the food tasted good. One other thing that I noticed is that the owners/managers (and subsequently, customers) here seem to be very open minded and welcoming. They also have put a lot of courteous touches in the space, such as hand sanitizer by the self serve water and feminine hygiene products in the bathroom. This place is part of 4 beer/cider places located relatively close together in the Everett Mall area. They do a lot of fun events where they have you visit each of the breweries and get a stamp, like the Ugly Sweater Crawl and Oktoberfest. This place is my favorite of the 4 as they have an actual food menu. I really appreciate that they offer vegan cheese and often have them sub it on the nachos, the order is huge and I usually have to take some to go. My friends are a fan of the pizza, but the crust was not my favorite. They also have a beer cheese soup (not vegan friendly). It can get busy on event days so you may have to wait a minute, it's a good excuse to drink more beer, but they do utilize a buzzer system. It's great even on non event days as they have plenty of parking and it is usually not too loud, unless there is zumba going on next door. They currently have an outdoor area and like most breweries there are usually dogs present. I also really enjoy the fun beer options they make here. My ongoing favorite is the Mierda Fuego which is a jalapeno pale ale. I get this on nearly every visit as pepper beers are not as common as they should be. They have a lot of seasonal beers, including a Cookie Monster series, which sounds super fun if you are into that kind of thing. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. A great brewery off of the beaten path. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Due to the limited hours, this brewery gets packed. Indoors is small and unpretentious. A small seating area is offered outdoors as well. Table tops are mainly four-toppers. This brewery is dog and family friendly. During our visit, we only noticed one family and four dogs. Love that the dogs outnumbered the children :) Noise levels are loud but not obnoxious. People are just having fun. Middleton is brewing up some fun tasty craft beer here! Fun names, fun flavors and fun stemware. I appreciate that beers here are offered in a couple different sizes and that they are all evenly priced. A limited menu of pizza and sandwiches is available to enjoy with your slurps. Don't expect too much waiter service here since it's so busy. Get up and place your orders at the bar! My wife and I started out with the flight tastings (qty 4) for $6. From our tastings we each ordered pints for $6. After our pints we ordered schooners (8oz) for $4. My wife's favorite beer ended up being the Oatmeal Stout (Peanut Butter). I am torn between Fuego Pale Ale (liquid Tim's Jalapeno Cascades chips!) and the Double Tapered Brown Ale (Coconut). All tasty beers! While sampling brews, we snacked on some Pub Mix (from Costco) for $3. Pub mix always pairs well with beer. For our meal we ordered the Supreme Pizza (12") for $16.50. The thin wheat crust was crispy and yummy. The spent grains added a nice crunchy texture. The toppings were plentiful. Overall, awesome brewery! The only downfall is the limited hours. I loved this place from the moment I stepped into the door! The atmosphere was great and so welcoming, not to mention the friendly Border Collie and Pug that greeted us upon arrival! I decided to have the sampler ($5 for 4 tastings) served in a 2x4-1 in smaller sized mason jars. LOVED it. All the beers I tried were good. My favorite was their Blonde. (Semper Fi Blonde) The place was small and intimate, about 4 tables and a couch in the main lobby. Each table had a choice of games. How lucky were we to pick the table with the Cards Against Humanity?! They also had Monopoly, Fact or Crap, Uno, Apples to Apples... etc. We had a great time here. This brewery was so good! I really like breweries that use fruit to make beer and this one does that well! The inside has a homey, comfortable feel. There is an outdoor space as well as an upstairs area. They also have food which looked really good. The food options ranged from nachos to pizza. There are many options for beer. I sampled the jalapeño which was delicious but not too spicy, it was very drinkable. I also sampled the strawberry and the blueberry which both had a ton of fruit flavor which can be hard to do with those two particular fruits. I had the lemongrass beer and the ginger. Both beers were delicious and had a lot of the flavor but wasn't too overpowering either. I would definitely recommend a stop by, the beers here are top notch! read more

This is a gem of a brew pub. Intimate atmosphere (A little industrial cold too but that's OK). The beer is super creative. They have some of the best mixes and experiments going around. My personal favorite is the Mierda Fuego. (Fire-death I believe). A pale ale brewed with jalapenos, cilantro, bell, Anaheim and crushed red peppers. Just the right amount of spice. I order a couple of these and a glass of peanut butter filled pretzels and I couldn't be happier. There is a lot more to explore on the menu. A really friendly place for all. (Dogs and kids too). We like to sample different brew pubs. We plugged the address into our phone and when it told us we had arrived, the pub was no where to be seen. We called to find out where they were located. Turned out it was around the corner and tucked completely in back. A bit of signage would have been helpful but, indeed, we were sorry that we did find it. You order at the bar (not uncommon), pick up your own beer, food, bus your own table and go back to the bar to pay your tab. Absolutely no service offered. We ordered a pizza and I can honestly say it was the worst that I have ever eaten or not eaten, as the case may be. The dough was thin and tasted like cardboard. There was little cheese and few toppings. I'm sorry but it was REALLY bad! They were out of several of the beers listed on the menu. We went here today for my husband's birthday and we could not have picked a better place. The service was great- ended up chatting cats with the gal tending bar, who was totally cool with our 7-person party having multiple tabs open. The food was excellent- the thin crust pizzas are delicious, the nachos were excellent and plentiful, the soft pretzels were great, the beer cheese soup was very warming, etc. It took a bit of time to get our food, given how small the kitchen is (we overwhelmed them with orders), but each dish came out hot and tasty. The beer was phenomenal- from the jalapeno pale ale (which isn't spicy, but smells and tastes of fresh green jalapenos) to the pretzel Marzen (which is malty and has the slightest umami taste at the end) to the coconut brown ale (which was a favorite of the whole group) to the nutty porter, cookie crisp stout, and the beet imperial stout (which was also a group favorite), and the berry cider they had on tap was *also* excellent. I love finding a brewery where most of the beers are delicious and unusual, and the cider is also delicious (and not overly sweet). The ambience was very chill. It isn't large, but they had two TVs with the football game on, and plenty of folks with their puppers, which made for a social atmosphere. The place was clean and well lit, with a lot of wood, so it had a quasi-rustic sense. It was a bit loud because of the game, but my group was louder, so it all worked out. Even though we live in Kent/Covington, we will absolutely be coming back here. I wish they bottled, so we could keep some of that brown, porter, and stout on hand. These guys are fun. That's not always meant as a compliment for places that do things sincerely, but these guys really are fun, and that's in ways that enhance the enjoyment of their beers and food, rather than distract from it. They're located on the back side of a busy strip mall; if you're unfamiliar with Everett, you might not even know how many businesses are back here. Decent parking, easy to get to. Inside, there's a main floor and then there's a mezzanine; under the mezzanine sit the bar and the kitchen. Under the staircase that leads to the mezzanine is the doghouse. The brewery mascot curls up under there, behind a sliding window that lets him keep an eye on things--or come and go, if the owner opens it. It's a perfect setting and immediately magnifies the nice homey vibe that the place has. The tables and chairs are all nice, more bistro-y than the usual brewpub vibe, which tends toward either the garage sale or all-wood ends of the spectrum. The brewer is also the owner, and the bartender, and the chef. The man works hard. The pizzas are solid, and there's other stuff on the menu as well. His beers are good, and generally characterized by having at least one adjunct ingredient (a fruit, sweet, herb, or something else added to give it an unusual flavor). I enjoyed the ones I tried for sure. The prices here are fair, and this is an easy choice for a beer if you're in Everett. It's not walking distance from the hockey barn, unfortunately, but other than that it's a great spot. read more

This place was awesome! Definitely a hidden gem in Everett. My boyfriend and I had time to kill before a movie and I recently turned 21, so he surprised me by taking me here! The area it's in is a little difficult to locate but it ended up being very worth it. They had such a sweet dog in, and the interior was super cozy. They had a great menu, and everything looked great! Almost made me wish I hadn't eaten pho beforehand so I could try some of their food. We tried the Strawberry Vanilla Hard Cider they had on guest tap, and it was AMAZING. Both dry and sweet, it smelled just like a strawberry shortcake popsicle and was very smooth. Ever since I read about Middleton Brewing in the Everett Herald I've been wanting to swing in. Unfortunately I rarely find myself in Everett but made a special visit specially for Middleton this Sunday. The location is on the backside of a strip mall next to Target. One should note that they don't open until 2pm on Sundays, we were there a little after 1 so decided to visit Lazy Boy Brewing until they opened. I loved Middleton right when I walked in. The wood and industrial decor was very cozy, and the leather couch was the perfect spot to watch the game. Kona the dog was adorable, fun and cuddly! Seriously loved him. Now to the beer!! I got a few 4oz tasters which were $1 a piece. The man got a pint of Monkey Butt, I The Busted Nut, Monkey Butt and Mierda Fuego. Patrick M doesn't know what he's talking about. They were all delicious, the BN had good mouth feel and flavor, the MB IPA was well balanced, and the MF interesting and earthy! I thoroughly enjoyed them all and really can't wait to go back, now I have a great reason to visit Everett. Also, their T-shirts are only $12! What a bargain. I snatched one up happily. First off, it was mine and my boyfriends first time here. The owner was also the bartender and he was not friendly, neither was the cook. Both of them made us feel like serving us was inconvenient and we were a nuisance to them. I don't care if the food or beer is good here, I won't be returning to a company that is unfriendly and makes me feel bad for buying a beer or ordering a pizza. You can tell he is passionate about his beer and dog Kona, but needs to work on being a little more out going. I cannot wait to come back here. It is tucked behind the Immediate Clinic (we originally spent a few minutes circling the larger parking lot on the other side). There is a beautiful row of murals before you reach the brewery. The beers are so imaginative and creative (raspberry, gingerbread, jalepeno) but they taste divine! Not just a one-sip tester. Their "monkey butt" was my favorite as it tasted very caramelly at the end. They also offer food (pizzas, soup, sandwiches) and prices looked great. Finally, TONS of games to play. I was attending a show at the Flight's Pub later on that night and got there early. So I decided since I had the opportunity to check out a brewery I had never been to in an area I rarely frequent, I looked up the local fare on Untappd and saw this place stand out immediately. Truly tucked away in a back business lot off of Everett Mall Way, this place has everything thing one would expect from a macro-brewery. It's a passion project taken to the next level for the public and other enthusiasts to enjoy. It's calm, it's casual, it's collected, it has a leisurely appeal, friendly people, and even friendlier dogs that come to get an ear scratch or curl up at your feet when you least suspect it. The standout of this place is the main brewer, Jeff Middleton, and what he brings in originality to his product. Every beer that he does a barrel of at a time has a unique flavoring that stands out so vivaciously while keeping all the ales still as smooth as ever. I took them up on a flight of tasters that contained a jalepeno IPA, a coconut brown, a blueberry amber ale cleverly named (You're my boy Blue), a strawberry wheat, and a nice chocolate mint porter that was a guest tap. I took them up on the food as well and picked out the Italian Panini paired with the beer cheese soup. The food was average for the most part. Panini lacking in that peppery profile you look for in an "Italian" style. The soup had a nice spice and flavor, but the veggies could have cooked down a little more. Decent food, and I still finished the plate, but the selection of darker ales and the genuine way they were played with is the shining star of the establishment. I'll definitely be hitting this place up again when the opportunity presents itself and happily take them up on more of their "experimental" beer while I'm at it. read more
