Cod bites

I ordered the cod bites because they were new. When I got them they were black. I only ate one and didn't want to complain. I used to come here all the time. I ordered a lavender blackberry drink and it was supposed to have alcohol and didn't. The waitress was amazing but was disappointed in the food! I brought the food home for my cats :( hopefully they can eat it or the wild animals will. Waste of money.

I've been coming to Scuttlebutt for more than 20 years, since it was in the old small location. It's exactly as advertised, the food won't blow you away, the beer is really good. Obviously a sweet location down on the Everett Marina. I agree a little spendy, but the service is good and it's a clean space. Will definitely be back!

Scuttlebutt Brewing in Everett checks all the boxes for a memorable dining experience--great views, great food, and great vibes. Located right on the waterfront, the atmosphere is casual but lively, with a clear view of the marina that adds a perfect Northwest touch. We ordered a variety of classics, and nothing disappointed: crispy fried shrimp, flavorful fish and chips, a massive fried chicken sandwich that was nearly impossible to fit in your mouth, plus chicken strips, soft pretzels, and mozzarella sticks with a spicy marinara that had just the right kick. Everything was hot, fresh, and better than expected--comfort food done really well. Our server brought a ton of personality to the table--quick with a joke and not afraid to fire one back. It made the meal even more fun and memorable. If you're traveling through Everett, this is an excellent stop. And if you're a local who hasn't checked it out yet, it's time. Scuttlebutt was a true highlight of our trip.

You may consider this to be a sweet and salty review. I ordered the fish & chips and they were spot on! Perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious!! I would definitely come back for that. Unfortunately, my family who ordered the steak and bacon po' boy, French dip and Blue Moon burger all agreed that the food was terrible. It was said that the bacon had a weird taste, the burger was very dry and the French dip was not good at all. I felt a little guilty that I was the only one that enjoyed the food. I'll say it one last time. The fish & chips were excellent.

Cod Sandwich - fried

We stopped in for a late lunch around 3pm and the place wasn't very busy. Still we had to wait quite a while to be seated. We also had to wait quite a bit to place our order and then to get our food. However, what I ordered, the cod sandwich was very good. I enjoyed the fish and it was well garnished with lots of veggies. The coleslaw was also quite good too.

Skewered Grilled Shrimp Dinner

We came on a Thursday for a later dinner and it was absolutely packed! We had to wait about 25 minutes for a table, but it was worth the wait. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Scuttlebutt! The skewered grilled shrimp dinner was super fresh and tasty. I had to add some salt and pepper to the mashed potatoes, but everything else was perfect! I ordered the PB&J screwball drink special and it tasted just like a PB&J...so good!

This is my favorite brewery. Their food is so good!! We have it about once a month. There isn't anything on the menu we haven't liked. The service is always top notch. Everyone is very friendly and knows their stuff. If you're on the waterfront I defiantly recommend stopping and grabbing a beer with some food. Pretzel app, and fish and chips are my favorite.

Came here after work for drinks and food. Service was OK. Place gets busy at dinner time. Food was good. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat, this is not it. Very casual place.

Dog friendly menu

We ordered the fish and chips! It crunchy on the outside and soft inside. It was cooked beautifully and had some good balanced flavor. Loved the fries that it came with as well. It was coated with corn starch. It was delicious. We loved that the restaurant is dog friendly and offered a small menu for dogs. We comfortably sat outside on the patio. The service was really slow though. Wish they had more servers and cooks during the weekends. We were seated after 40 mins even when we were told 20 mins and the food came in about 30 mins after ordering.

Shout out to our amazing waitress last night at Scuttlebutt's!! We came to celebrate our friend's 48th birthday, and there was a big group of us--we were super loud (lol)! Our waitress was absolutely awesome--friendly, fun, prompt, and super attentive. She even joined in on some of the fun we were having, which made the night even better! Thanks for helping make it such a great celebration!

Came here after work with my team. Service was great for having such a big group. Food was good. Had the chicken strips. Very casual attire. It does get loud in there so if a quiet dinner is what you're looking for this would not be the place I recommend. Other then that I do recommend.

We have been here twice now. Went the first time on a recommendation from friends and we were told to try their fish and chips. We did...and it was great!! We also learned that the portions are large and didn't need the 2 piece. Their fried jalapeños are sooo good too!! The 2nd time (last week) was for happy hour. I tried the sliders this time, one burger and one pulled pork. Both were delicious!! Hubby got the spicy cod bites and they were indeed spicy but very good! We had great service both times as well. We will be back!

Spicy Thai chicken Homemade Soups
Shela S.

Great food and great service!!! The place was packed and everything went so smooth and in a timely fashion! My friend had the special Spicy Thai Chicken soup and salad and loved it. Full of flavor. I had their fish and chips...YUM. Their tarter is fantastic, and I am a tarter snob. Great atmosphere, great energy, great view of the water. Go there!

Is there an outdoor patio with heaters?

I believe so, but it wasn't open during December. I'd check ahead, it might be summer only

Do they take reservations?

Is there food in the bar? Are there seats? We're coming for a band that's supposed to play at 7. Not sure if we should go early to earn at the restaurant side first?

Scuttlebutt Taphouse does not have food. Scuttlebutt Brewery does have food. If you're going to see a band you will be at the Taphouse. Outdoor food is welcome. Occasionally there will be a food truck on-site. Seating is limited.

Non-alcoholic beer as well as canned wine can be purchased. Now equipped with a kitchen, pizza's (10") can be ordered to enjoy with your beverage. To streamline the cooking process, substitutions are not allowed. On Friday's, Taco-S-Abroson food truck is available from 4pm-8pm. The food truck does not accept credit cards; cash only. During this visit I has a can of House Wine Red Blend for $10 to sip on. For dinner I chose the Works Pizza (#10) for $15.50: red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ham, red onion, olives and mushrooms. Quite the tasty pizza. ---------------- This is a cool little brewery right in my backyard. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. This brewery is essentially a refurbished hangar so dress accordingly. It's a good idea to bring a sweatshirt or jacket to ward off the chill. There are a few TVs mounted throughout the hanger. Board-games are also available to play while sipping brews. Beer listings are displayed on a nice digital screen. A couple beers have a high ABV which limits those beers to two pours. There isn't really a kitchen; however, simple foods such as sandwiches and chips are available. Waiter service is non-existent. Orders are placed at the counter as well as picked up at the counter (beer & food). My wife ordered Audrey for $5 a pint. I ordered the Back Stabbing Bitch (2 pour limit) for $5 a pint. We both enjoyed our choices. For lunch my wife ordered the Traditionalist Polish Dog with original Tim's potato chips for $6. Can't go wrong with a hot dog. I ordered half a Big JW with a bag of jalapeno Tim's chips for $6. My sandwich was generously topped with meat and cheese and grilled to a nice golden brown. Tasty. We look forward to returning in the near future to slurp on some tasty beer while watching a game.

I can say we were all pretty disappointed in this place. The staff was the only positive that we took away from this experience. Both servers that we encountered were both kind and attentive. The drinks and food however totally missed the marks. We all started off with drinks 2 margaritas, a gin gimlet and a beer between the four of us. The margaritas were terrible, like I am not sure how they put them as a feature drink. They had zero jalapeños and also offered no spicy margarita whatsoever. My wife's gin gimlet tasted like straight up lime juice. All were complete misses. Next we moved on to the food where each couple ordered a dozen wings. The X's and O's( fries and onion rings) and we also ordered a wedge salad. The wedge salad came out and idk how it was marketed as wedge when it was a bowl of salad completely engulfed in dressing(closer to soup than salad). Next the fries and onion rings came out and I'm not usually a stickler for what things cost, but $17 for like 6 onion rings and a very sad plate of fries. We expected a bit more for what we ordered for the table. Lastly the wings. While the flavoring of the wings were good, they came out not too warm to the touch and biting into them they were cold on the inside. Concerned that we may get sick from uncooked meat they assured us that they were precooked and just dropped into the fryer to finish them off. To me it is concerning that though they were precooked and still missed on hearing them all way, you may need to have a chat with your kitchen. Both of the servers were on top of it and ran both dozens back to have our order recooked. Second time around they were hot and crispy with good flavor(although the garlic boom boom wings were missing one of the sauces the second time around). It didn't matter, we ate them and paid. Not sure we will put this on our revisit list. Maybe the burgers or flatbread were the way to go, but out of 3 menu items and even the drinks.... There needs to be much more effort to everything here...

Well I will say right off the bat if you are trying to get here by GPS it is extremely misleading…read more You can see the business from the main road but you can't turn into the parking lot there. You need to go straight through an intersection just before the brewery, turn on a dirt road and then it will take you to the parking lot. Hopefully directions have been fixed since then by somebody but if not be patient in getting there. My phones were exhausted and running on empty so alas no pictures were taken here unfortunately. We still needed some GPS navigation to get in a homebound direction. There were a lot of good looking beer options here so what we did was get a taster flight which was a wise choice. Some of the beers we had that made up that was a Key Lime Lager which was great. It tasted similar to the dessert and was easily my favorite. Alpenglow was another, also a lager that was pleasant and refreshing. We continued with the unique brews of a Nettle beer, a mango lager and the May Bee Lager. We also got an order of some of their brats from the food truck here. Those weren't too bad, perhaps not the most authentic I have ever came across but enjoyable nonetheless and pairs well with the beers that they have available here. Fun brewery to go to and one that should be stopped at if you are visiting the breweries, cideries, meaderies or wineries on Whidby Island.
