Been going to the woodfire for about 17 yrs now. I never thought I'd say this but I'm done. Ordered a margarita tonight. The pizza looks like it was tossed into the box from across the kitchen. Did the cook grab a handful of basil and just drop it on the center of the pizza without even attempting to evenly distribute it? Appears so. I've had more uniform pizzas from little Caesars. Paying $20 for a dinner plate size pizza out of a sit down restaurant I'd appreciate the cook taking some pride in his craft. read more

Son's 9th bday, he wanted fish and chips. So we decided to try Anthony's Woodfire instead of their regular restaurant. If there's one thing they do right, it's fish and chips! Problem is, even with the best fish and chips in town I always get distracted by their fancy dishes and get those instead, only to be disappointed I didn't order fish and chips. Not this time! I got distracted instead by fancy fish and chips instead! Err fish and rice pilaf! Wife got a pizza, daughter Hoovered a kids pasta in record time. My son who wanted fish and chips instead ordered grilled steelhead.. kids. Food all in all was fantastic. I got the price fixe meal. Ordered a side salad that was really a full salad in disguise and a meh tomato basil soup. My fancy panko breaded pan fried cod was perfect! Would have liked fries more than the rice pilaf... I can't get over sweet tasting rice, sorry! I hate trout, always tastes muddy, but my son's steelhead also tasted great. Wife ordered fancy pizza which she liked. Price was good for what we got and the economy being what it is. Ambiance was great for families. Our young waitress provided excellent service and had normal colored hair. Valentines dinner at Anthony Woodfire grill last night!! Great first time experience! Restaurant was clean, people were so very nice throughout our entire time! We had a great view of the boats/water/night atmosphere of the marina!! Our waitress I unfortunately didn't get her name she was absolutely wonderful! Answered all our questions even went back to the chief to ask to see how something was prepared! They service you bread and delicious garlic butter! We started with a side Caesar salad. Moved into the Valentine's dinner menu they had. My BF order the Steak Oscar (unfortunately I didn't obtain a picture as he had already started in prior to me snapping) and I ordered the Steak and lobster ! Both meals were delicious and served with garlic mashed potatoes which were very flavorful and my dish came with the greenish broccoli I had ever seen!! Even when parking is huge, we battled to get a spot near. I was very glad to notice there was parking security doing rounds. Anthony's was crowded and didn't receive walk ins. So we decided to go to their second best option which was yards away. We noticed this location wasn't that upscale as the first one. This one got more kids. They sat us on this part. It was pretty noisy. We couldn't even hear our server. View was beautiful too :) Food wasn't that good or interesting. I had the jambalaya, and my party salmon and pasta. We also had some fried seafood. Server was slow but tried to keep a good vibe. I don't know if it's worth the price, but it is for the view. Salad drowning in blue cheese so I couldn't see the hearts of romaine or hazelnuts or shrimp. Left 1/2 not worth taking as leftovers. 1/2 Margherita pizza soggy and flavorless. Didn't bother to take leftovers. Paella had foul flavor of tainted meat. Calamari tasty. The one item that worked. We have enjoyed Anthony's for 30 years. But we don't think we'll ever go back. This is a great place to eat if you are in Everett or working on the Everett Navy Base. Ambiance: Very convenient and close to the base. There is plenty of free parking and the views of the bay are beautiful. The bar area is warm and cozy, with a nice fireplace to warm up. Service: Excellent service from our waitress. She took our orders quickly and accommodated our request to have a short lunch since we needed to return to the navy base in about 1 hour. Food: The menu is simple, but has a good variety of seafood and sandwiches. My fish and chips were delicious, panko crusted. My friend's burger was average at best. We came here for lunch and it was a very good experience. If I am back in back area, I will order the rotisserie chicken for dinner. Looks tasty! read more

Don't waste your time or money. Ordered off the happy hour menu and still was not worth it. The fish was extra extra crispy and the definitely got the chips correct eventhough it came with fries. And the garlic clove with cheese and other stuff lame. I only ate the 2 fish pieces because I paid for the meals and did not want a discount or comp. The staff where very helpful and accommodating and the restaurant look very inviting. I do not send food back, ask for replacement or any kind of discount. read more

In short It truly is A-OK. You can imagine what you're getting at a big place like this--the location is the key. Conventional food, but you get a fantastic view of the harbor. Wonderful for nice days. In long Easter Sunday might not always be the best day to hit up a spot like this with seating for 200+, but we called ahead and found they were settling into a post-rush lull by the time we set out for lunch. We got a window table and watched another dozen or so parties finish their meals while the staff dug into sidework. Everything in the dining room here looks newly-installed and well kept, but it's like they consciously chose to embrace a retro 80s vibe with some of the wood inlays and weird shapes to the booth cushions. It's nice enough, though--comfortable, and definitely spotless. We overlooked a couple hundred sailboats from our table, and went through half a page of brunch specials and a couple pages of wines and cocktails. Nice! Blueberry coffee cake Most certainly not on my diet, but comes out complimentary before you order. It was impossible to resist. Nice cake! I could take or leave the cinnamon butter that comes with it. Not bad, but it doesn't need butter, nor more sweetness. Fish and chips Fresh hot crispy fish and french fries, too. Everything showed up in good shape. Nicely balanced tartar with plenty of flavor. Easily finished this. Jetty Island scramble Dig the local nod in the name. The scramble itself was mildly flavored, but the fruit and avocado were certainly nice touches. The potatoes were getting pretty tired after who knows how long waiting to be served (they definitely make that kind of thing in big batches ahead of time at a place this large). You don't get toast, since you already had coffee cake. Old fashioned Good rich savory cocktail, not over-sweetened. We also ordered a tequila something-or-other that was a little too strong with the tequila (nice problem to have, compared to some places, right?), so we traded. Service was very nice throughout, always on point, and so very young. Looking like HS kids to me (even though they're not). With a 20% tip, we were out the door for $94. You can certainly find lower prices, but we were craving the water view, and only so many places have it. read more

This is my third time dining at this restaurant. It was Saturday and very busy. I took my whole family with 2 grandchildren. The last time I was here on Friday night, we had early bird dinner: appetizer or salad, entree, dessert for $33. Today was a different story. For $34, you get either steak with mashed potatoes or trout or steelhead with rice. No vegetables. You must order salad separately, that's another $11. Everyone actually went home still hungry. My bill was $200 with tip. I don't think I'll come on Saturday again. read more

I had the steelhead and rice pilaf with pistachio. It was 4 bits of rice and the same amount of salmon. Very, very disappointed. We spent $124.00 typical for this kind of restaurant, $38 on the salmon and it was insulting how small the portion was compared to the cost. But not only that,.... I am willing to pay $40 bucks for a meal (at a commercial restaurant) for a solid meal, with a great taste. I had one piece of a pistachio and the salmon was oily. I saw a pizza delivered to another table... and suspect that might have been the better bet. A $20 Woodfire pizza. For the type of restaurant this is suppose to be, you'd think they would take more care in the taste of every plate. Every plate we received, the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes was minuscule on the plate, and the kids mac & cheese only covered half the plate at best (1 piece evenly scattered on the plate. It was embarrassing for them). Get smaller plates if you plan to serve your guests tiny portions and change the descriptions on your menu... (1) pistachio per steelhead plate would be a great start. The server seemed to acknowledge the issue by cringing remorsefully and walking away... likely something they do on a consistent basis. This likely affects their tips and management needs to figure it out, do better Anthony's. read more

Super disappointed. We came in for happy hour only to find out the prices only apply at the bar--not in the dining area--and there's no sign or notice anywhere saying that. Felt pretty misleading. Service was painfully slow, and our waitress seemed irritated from the start. Not friendly, not helpful, and definitely not welcoming. We left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Won't be back. The weather was absolutely stunning, so I asked my partner if there was someplace he'd recommend for dinner on a patio, and this is the place he chose. I didn't realize it would be on the water, too. While we waited for a second by door, we were admiring how good the roasting chickens looked. I also saw the salmon salad and a steak waiting to be run, and they were very attractive. The host asked if we wanted to sit under an umbrella or in the sun, and we chose to sit in the sun. It was after 7, so not too busy, and not too hot. I wanted to try the Pear cocktail, but sadly they were out, and I had a glass of Riesling instead. Pretty good. We got calamari for an appetizer, because my boyfriend said it was nice. He ended up ordering the mac n cheese and found the crispy prosciutto delightful. I went with the fish and chips. The crispiness of the breading on the fish made me happy, and I was thrilled with how crispy the fries were (strongly dislike floppy fries, these had a fantastic crunch and I couldn't stop eating them). The coleslaw was different, just being red cabbage, but it worked to mix things up after the fried foods. I did find the flavoring a bit bland, though. No standout flavors on the fish or coleslaw, and though the fries said seasoned, the only seasoning I tasted was salt. Our server was lovely and checked on us just enough. Restrooms were clean, too. The view from our table was amazing!!!! We took a stroll along the water afterward, a perfect end to a lovely evening. read more

I initially came to see the waterfront view but needed to use the restroom. My husband and I stopped by Anthony's, and a kind lady at the front allowed us to use their facilities. On our way out, we noticed their amazing waterfront view and decided to return for a meal. My husband had a burger and fries, while I had pasta; both dishes were quite good. We also tried the strawberry lemonade, which was a bit sweet. The prices were reasonable, especially compared to other waterfront spots. Anthony's is worth checking out! Let's get one thing straight: You go here for the amazing views, drinks and some* of the appetizers. I recommend the calamari. The entrees are really just ok as others have indicated. My first time here and I was pleasantly surprised by how great our food and service was! My wife and I brought our 5month old son and the hostess was very helpful and accommodating with a sling and table choice, that always makes things start out well! We had a couple delicious cocktails, yummy hot bread with tasty herbed butter. My wife ordered the Cobb salad with a couple minor tweaks and I ordered the fish and chips. It's been awhile since we've been here. We were nearby and decided to stop. Timing is what got us to Woodfire. We were in Everett and didn't want to park on the freeway at that time of day. It's pretty much like I remember. It's a less casual Anthony's but still nice. The menu is a bit different as well. The day we went they had a menu where you get a three or four course meal for about $35. Included is a choice of several apps or two ($5 up charge), an entree choice, and a desert choice. I chose the garlic roasted chicken. It's half a chicken, green beans and garlic mashed potatoes all smothered in gravy. If you know me at all you know I think mashed potatoes are reprehensible in every way so I gave them to my bride. It was still plenty of food. They have a marinated flank steak option as well which I will get if they still have that menu if we find ourselves there at the right time They call it the Early Bird menu and it's good M-Th and lasts until 6 or so but don't quote me. That menu would explain the massive numbers of Seniors there when we rolled in about 4:15pm. Our server was good. He was attentive but not too much so and friendly. We gave him a decent tip. Me and a group of friends made reservations the day of and they were so kind and accommodating to our rather large group! (11 of us) Our waiter was so kind and constantly made us giggle throughout the night and honestly we appreciated the effort he put in to helping us! Food was great! We had the shrimp & artichoke dip and calamari for an appetizer and wow those are yummy, especially the dip! I had the shrimp and steak, overall it was very good. The only thing I would say is the vegetables were a little underwhelming, but otherwise really good! Cooked just the way I wanted and great flavor! For dessert we tried the chocolate caramel mousse and burnt cream, both were SO GOOD! I loved the burnt cream personally! read more

I have visited Anthony's Woodfire Grill several times in the past, and the food and service used to be really good. I'm not sure what happened, but this place has severely gone down hill, to the point that I likely won't be returning. To start with, I have rarely seen such a dirty restaurant! Every single desirable table in the bar area was covered in previous patrons old plates, food, napkins, half consumed drinks, etc. looking around at the dining room, the same problem seemed to be there, too. No one at the hosting stand, so we asked the bartender if we could seat ourselves in the bar. She said yes. We sat at one of these dirty tables, thinking that the server would just clean it when they came by. We waiting a good 10 minutes until anyone did. It was the bartender, who greeted us with "you just had to sit at a dirty table, didn't you?" As she began to gather the previous patrons dirty plates. She managed to drop some of the silverware in the process, some on my lap and some on the table with a loud CLANG. No apology, she didn't even look up to acknowledge it. We just got up and left. There are other restaurants that might treat us as if they want our patronage. read more

Our party of four which included two very well behaved quiet dogs was informed upon arriving that we couldn't even sit on the PATIO! Our server was kind enough to get the manager who confirmed we couldn't stay with the dogs. Being from California(Where dogs are welcome on ANY patio) we found this regulation highly unusual. Whoever owns this place had better get with the times if they want customers with dogs... Our visit was on a Wednesday afternoon, and the patio was nearly empty. Enjoyed our dinner. Basically a company event with my team. Celebrating our first time together since Covid. My lead met me at the bar. The service was good and my bartender was helpful. I ended with a Amber from Boundary Bay. We were given a choice either outside or inside. It was a nice afternoon we pick outside. Because of the colder marin air it was chilly. A little uncomfortable but I was fine. We ordered drinks and appizeiter which was yummy. We had chicken wings, artichoke dip, calamari and bread. Our servered was pleasant and accommodating. I had the fish and chips. There was several delicious dishes to admire. My dish was good. I was content no dessert needed. I will always recommend this place. Service is little lacking. I sat down and 5 minutes later a party sat across from me. When the server poured them water and 3 minutes later came to my table. I ordered the chicken cob salad with a cup of the roasted tomato basil soup to start. Highly recommended the soup. One of the best I have ever had. The server seems to provide better service as the dinner goes on. I also would not reject the bread and butter. The bread came very hot and the1 herb butter was wiped. Stopped by Anthony's wood-fire grill for happy hour. We ordered 2 margaritas along with a small personal pizza, small Caesar salad and fish and chips. The bartender checked to see if we wanted a 2nd drink and I wasn't thrilled with the tequila they used so I asked for a different tequila and she suggested one. (I should have asked for the price exchange) OR she should have told me the price exchange. Either way one small margarita was $18 and she didn't let me know the price difference. I was kinda bummed. Pizza was good, fish and chips were good but we both will order beer moving forward. We were kind of disappointed we weren't told of the price difference. A good bartender makes you aware of the price exchange that way it would have been my choice. Lessons learned!!!!! read more
