If you used to like this place you probably wont anymore. I got teriyaki thinking it would help my appetite and it completely ruined any appetite i had. Portions are smaller, weird after taste, sauce was a weird consistency. Also I dont understand why there's macaroni salad when there is already regular salad? People want teriyaki, not two types of salad. Im pretty sure i got more macaroni salad than actual rice and teriyaki. Tried to order them on DoorDash and was LET DOWN they never confirmed my order even after I called, DoorDash support called, and the dasher they assigned went in and tried to show them the order. Compassion and a feeling that YOU MATTER. And are part of the family. So I work all the delivery gigs and had been coming off 3 days straight with only 3-4 hours sleep. I have lost my fiancé and was trying to make ends meet. So as you can guess I walked in their restaurant most probably looking a mess. The lady taking my order asked me are you ok? It was Valentine's Day and I was missing my love, and exhausted. I broke down. ( which I never do especially to strangers!) She went into the back and told her husband/cook and like two minutes later he comes out looking stern. Hands me a plate of gyozas (which I didn't order nor pay for) and proceeds to say what a father would to his daughter. Young lady it's no good to work like that go home and rest. And as I'm leaving the lady said please come see me again. I've never in my 48 years felt such caring from a restaurant in my life. I have eaten at a ton of Teriyaki places all over, Shake 'N Go is in my opinion clearly the best. How can that be... aren't all Teriyaki places about the same? I have had the Tofu Teriyaki with brown rice 3 times now. There are a number of things I want to try, but it is just so good. The veggies are crisp and not overcooked, and plentiful. The Tofu is just the right size to give it texture and substances. It takes a little time to get food, but I think that is just everything gets made fresh! Lots more trips for me here coming this summer. So glad I decided to pass on IHOP and Subway and give it a try. read more

A couple of years ago, this place used to be great. I used to commute by bus nearby, and the service was friendly, the burgers and sides well-done and never greasy. I was in the neighborhood tonight, so stopped in for what I used to order two or three years ago. Different people behind the counter, not the same friendly, warm service. Cheeseburger, upgrade the included side of fries to onion rings, and a chocolate shake. Cheeseburger is $8.59, upgrade to rings is $1.50, and shake is $4.50. For you math whizzes out there, that's $14.59 before tax. The woman behind the counter handed me a tab for over $20. She charged me for an *order* of onion rings, in addition to the burger and included side. This added $5.95 to the bill. I pushed it back to her and said, "This is wrong. You charged me for an order of onion rings, not a side." She tapped the tab with her pen. "You sign! This side of onion rings!" No. The sign right above her head said an upgrade from the included fries to onion rings is $1.50. I said this one more time, she took off her mask to breathe right in my face and insist this order really cost over $20. I demanded she put her mask back on, then I said "I'm not eating here," and walked out without signing the tab. I certainly am not going to pay them $20 for $14.59 worth of food. Check your tab. This woman is a cheat who feigns limited English when she's called on it. Bring back the old owners; they weren't cheats. read more

BEST... BURGERS... EVER!!! Seriously... I had the traditional cheese burger- YUM loaded with all the yummies! My partner had the sunny side burger- YUM with a perfect fried eggplant! Both were the biggest most flavorful delicious wonderful burgers we both have had. How did we not know about this place! The fries and onion rings were also SO good.. Oh, and the house sauce- YES! My daughter was STARVING HANGRY MONSTER...so we needed something fast. I hate fast food...but decided this would do. One ordered Yakisoba, one ordered a cheeseburger, and I ordered a veggie burger. My daughter was going for soft mushy fries...but they were very crispy. She was hoping for cheap soft buns...but it came with more of a brioche style bun. Both came with a few too many red onions for our taste....but mine was delicious. The nice lady working had told us to take some of the popular fry sauce...and I'm glad she did...it was so good worth the fries. My youngest loved her Yakisoba and it shushed her up. Nice and clean inside, playing the women's volleyball Olympics, wish we could've watched more of the game before we had to go. But I'm sure we'll be back if we are in the area! read more

Oh no Shake 'N Go - not good. Hubby and I have not been to this chain before. We went for the first and last time. This may have been the worst burger I have ever had. The good - the fried mushrooms. Really delicious. Great coating. The fries - good. The owners were very nice and the place is clean. But the burger - oy vey. First the sign says it is a 1/3 lb. patty. It was not. It was totally grey inside. It was tiny and was overwhelmed by the bun. It was obviously frozen since it was perfectly round. And it tasted like a Costco pre-cooked frozen patty. I don't think it was even cooked on the premises - just heated up. I also tried a banana shake. It tasted of vanilla only. I think there were a few miniscule pieces of banana. I will stick with the amazing Nick's for my burger fix. read more

One of my favorite places in Everett, and I lived here for 26+ years. Their wraps are AMAZING and super filled. Their milkshakes are made with milk and ice cream, as they should be. I was up in Everett again and wanted a burger. Two weeks back it was Ray's but after watching my burger made and they guy with no gloves wipe his hands on his shirt between burgers I wasn't going back there. I looked on Yelp, of course, and found Shake 'N Go. I expected a burger joint and went in craving a burger. Well, as some others have noted they are much more than a burger joint. Teriyaki and Chinese are their main menu items. I stuck to the burger. Unlike Ray's I couldn't see behind the curtain so I just have to trust that the person putting together my burger did it correctly. The cheeseburger (with bacon) was very good - worth 4.5 stars. The fries, maybe 1 star, out of a bag of frozen fries and not real good ones. I will probably go back and try their spicy teriyaki or something off the Chinese menu. Or if I get another Cheeseburger, I will ask for no fries. read more

I really must say that part of the reason I keep coming back is the Christian atmosphere and ambiance. There is a daily bible quote I read each time I am there. I was expecting disappointment usually because of Asian restaurant. But I ordered a pastrami burger and when my wife got home the Burger was fantastic!! Stopped in this morning for a fix for an early morning burger craving in my penguin PJs. After putting in my order (cheeseburger,fries,drink $10) I was handed a freshly fried gyoza! What a surprise! This is my first review.. I was so thrilled I had to throw up a review on this place. Food was stellar; Thick well seasoned patty, the bun was a fluffy brioche, plenty of lettuce and pickle in every bite. The bun did get soggy from the sauce over time, chalking it up to my fault for eating it at home. Fries were thick and crispy, fried well for being (assuming) the first order of the day. This place is a hidden gem! The food and staff are amazing! You're greeted by the friendly staff upon walking in and the place is clean, which is reassuring since Covid is still around. There's a variety of different foods, such as burgers, wraps, Chinese wok, teriyaki, and bubble tea and everything tastes so good! The burgers are HUGE!!
