10/10 for incredible service from Eric with a C! Food was a bonus. Eric made us feel like we were family and felt like we were at dinner and a show. If I'm ever in Everett again I will definitely be back!

We came on a Tuesday night and there was no line. The restaurant itself has moody and dim lighting and it seems like a great date night spot. The servers were super helpful with all of our questions about the menu. I ordered the calamari and it was coated in a tomato sauce with olives. It is an appetizer, but def enough to fill me up. It also wasn't too heavy, which I really appreciated because Italian food tends to be on the heavier side.

Came here for dinner after working in the area. Service is great! Everyone is so nice and accommodating. Definitely a bit of a fancier place and they treat you as such. Cozy and intimate inside. I wish they had more options in their menu but what I got was good. Wish it had more flavor to it. The tiramisu was really good!

Perfect space for large parties

Our first time dining at Luca and it will not be our last. This restaurant hits all of the check marks for ambience, food, and service. We tried to reserve a table, however they only do reservations for parties or 6 or more. We took a chance and were able to secure bar top seating. The space is cozy, elegant, and romantic. They have a decent selection of Italian wines and cocktails. Their menu features dishes from various Italian regions. We ordered the calamari in zimino to start. This calamari appetizer is sautéed with cherry tomatoes, olives, garlic and capers in a light spicy tomato sauce. Absolutely delicious and can be a meal all by itself. For our entrées, we ordered the spaghetti carbonara and pappardelle al ragu di cinghiale. The carbonara was rich and had a generous amount of guanciale. The pappardelle was hearty and had tender pieces of wild boar. The entrées are decent size and can be easily shared between 2 people. We decided to cap our dinner experience with a shot of their limoncello. Service was outstanding. Our server frequently checked in and refilled our water glasses. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. The line does get long, but it's worth the wait.

Service wins here. I had lobster ravioli and capers salad. Finished off with pizza di Luca. My man Eric from behind the bar was solid. Food very good.

I went here because capers and olives were completely full and I dont regret it. The wine is imported from Italy and tastes great. The filet mignon was amazing. Honestly the best ive had.

Pollo Gorgonzola

BEST. MEAL. EVER. We were treated to dinner here last night by family and WOW, we were blown away at this fantastic meal! We started off with the Burrata antipasti. It was absolutely delicious. It was a great appetizer for 4 people to share, especially with the bread we had at the table. Not too long after we finished the Burrata, our entrees came. My husband and step father both got the Pollo Gorgonzola. They LOVED it. I tried some and absolutely agree! The chicken was so tender, the sauce was fantastic, and veggies were great. My mom got the Mediterraneo salad and it was full of flavor! I ordered the Gnocchi al Tartufo and oh my gosh, It was the best gnocchi I've ever had! The gorgonzola and truffle sauce was absolutely divine. I'm hungry just thinking about it! After eating way too much and all being full, we ordered dessert, because there's always room for dessert. We had the Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. Both again, were fantastic like everything else. I genuinely can't say enough good things about Luca. The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding. I have a feeling we'll be back VERY soon!

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, from the comfortable lighting and decor to the attentive and enthusiastic service from the owner himself, I will recommend this place to anyone who will listen! My mom and I had a late night meal, arriving only an hour before close. We were greeted warmly, sat immediately, and all questions we had were answered - I am gluten free and had been recommended to try Luca, so wanted to know what was best. Arriving so late, the gluten free pasta had already been taken out for the night, so we ordered gnocchi (made from potato) and risotto (typically gluten free). Our food was delivered to the table promptly and it was DIVINE! Both my mom and I were silent, completely engaged in our dishes. I cannot wait to return to enjoy more authentic Italian cuisine - which you can truly taste.

I have been here countless times and tried every pasta on the menu. This place is hands down the best Italian restaurant I've had in the US. It reminds me so much of the food I had in Florence Italy. The owner grew up in Florence and it shows. This is Italian food, the owner and staff are incredible and so hospitable and the food Is lovely. The vibe is so nice with being causal enough but also can dress up and it matches with the dim lights and white table cloths and piano. It's just such a good spot for date night or dinner with some friends.

Calamari, watery but cooked well

My family loves Italian pasta, LOVES it. We go out to eat pasta more than any other cuisine. Luca was close and we never had so we tried. Gotta say else ate extra picky when it comes to our pasta. Ambience was nice, small family Italian eatery lookin... Service excellent, may even border on a bit suffocating if you are the type that doesn't want to be checked on every five minutes. Food can be summed up as stereotypical high school valley girl cheerleader. Very pretty with no substance. All the dishes came out very pretty however the pasta was watery as if there was no sauce. I can see the sauce, not really tasting it.... The steak special sounded nice so I ordered one to be split family style as everyone had a pasta dish. The steak came out gorgeous! A perfectly charred/seared ribeye resting on a bed of 6 different vegetables with some prepared in more ways than one. A feast for the eyes.... Made with no salt. The vegetables on the carving board were the highlights. Tasted great and perfectly cooked. We spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 260 bucks for two adults and two small kids. Expensive and for that price we will continue our search for Italian elsewhere.

Tiramisu

If you want to enjoy a little taste of Italy, you must visit this little gem! The owner was our server, and he took very good care of us. The Chef is also Italian and his food tastes delicious! We enjoyed the best Tiramisu we've ever had! The ambiance made us feel like we landed in Italy as soon as we walk in the door! The only miss for us was the cocktail. (hard pass on a lemon drop Martini) We will definitely be back for more of their delicious food!

You need to go this place. Authentic Italian. Great service. Top notch. Romantic ambiance with bar seating. Nightly specials, too.

Some of the best Italian food I've had. Service was attentive but not intrusive. It is a relatively small so a reservation is a good idea.

Grape & Grain now also serve simple plates such as sandwiches, flatbreads and salads. Happy Hour is offered Mon-Fri from 11:00-4:00pm on wine and beer. Tuesday's are Open Mic Night from 5:30pm-8:30pm. During this visit, my girlfriend and I shared a bottle of Guardian Chalk line to sip on while visiting and enjoying open mic. We shared a Caprese Salad for $15. We shared the Cali Veg Sandwich for $15. I ordered a to-go Carnita's Plate for $14 from Grumpy's to take home to my wife. Seats are limited and on our visit (Tuesday) several people were unable to find a seat. It was loud during our visit so it was hard to hear one another during our visit. Service was friendly and on the slow side. Thank you G&G for a nice evening. I look forward to returning in the future.

We had a MARVELOUS experience!…read more My bf, his mom and myself passed by this place on a couple of walks. I've also marked it as a place to visit. It is part of the Staybridge Suite hotels here and this hotel in general, is always packed! We finally know why! The hotel inside is beautiful -- woodwork and a cozy ambience! The 5 x 5 bar & bistro is new. What it was before was an old theater. Matthew was a one-man show with two ladies helping him with carrying the done orders to the tables. It was actually quiet on a Wednesday when we had went. Only 3 tables occupied. We missed happy hour and settled on the regular menu. I had the chicken tenders (4-pc) with lemon pepper seasoning (oh my -- this was delicious!) along with sweet potato waffle fries. I also got the hummus plate -- fresh veggies and the hummus had feta cheese and olive oil too, yummy! My bf had the pepperoni pizza with cheddar cheese and topped with green onions. I had a taste of it and it was pretty good! My bf's mom had the fish burger with a side salad. Matthew was so kind and made a mental note of the orders. He even remembered my bf's mom saying 'no cheese' and he doubled checked with her after looking at the fish burger. Real nice guy and his service with the ladies was warm and delightful! They're forming an events room hall that will be done soon that used to be a pool area (so yes, no swimming pool anymore). They also have a nice patio area with long chairs and a nice mini bar/grills in the middle. I also had a limoncello cooler and my bf's mom has red wine too. We'd come back again!

In short Great deals on great drinks, food is really solid,…read moreand the setting is nice and friendly. Only drawback is that the hours are limited. In long Lately we've been seeking out places that are literally quieter--less volume on the music, more space between the tables, and so on. I'd been wanting to check out 5x5, anyway, since it's the only spot around with an exactly perfect rating score. It looked like it'd fit the bill for a low-key place, and off we went. We came in shortly after they opened on a Saturday (4:00 PM). You're in a larger business-traveler hotel here, aimed at Boeing and Boeing-sub folks traveling for work. The building looks kinda generic from outside, but there's plenty of parking, and the lobby has a high-ceilinged atrium vibe for sure. Nice floor tiles, nice carpet, tasteful furniture. Everything's in perfect shape. You don't feel the lounge vibe right away, but there's a gigantic fireplace ahead of you, warming both sides of the room from the middle. Around that, there are lots of sturdy, shiny tables under the lofty ceilings. Off to the side, there's a little lounge area, then another one. Everything in the lounge is bar-height seating, and there are a few flatscreens, probably showing the game. Most folks are in here, sitting around the bar in the middle of the room. We posted up at a table just outside the lounge. Lindsey was behind the bar, and cheerfully answered every single question we had about food and all their cocktails. She's super friendly and makes a great drink for sure. She seems to have a bunch of regulars who aren't staying at the hotel, which is a great sign, no doubt. We checked out the warm pretzel--such a decadent treat. The waffle fries (and especially the aioli that came with them) were awesome. The pizza was a great choice; we added pickled onions to the Speedway. The crust could be a little crisper but we took home what we didn't finish and it's great here, too. Service on food and drinks was really quick. The cocktails here can be really creative, and there are lots of classics with house twists on the recipe. They even have a pisco sour they've tweaked--that's a fair bit of work for a bartender to make mid-shift. We got 5 great drinks and 3 nice plates of food for $96, and I don't think we even ordered anything from the HH menu. This is a very easy place to add to the rotation.

They've got a good selection of beer on tap, but I thought the cocktails were overpriced--nothing really stood out. I'd rather spend $16 on a craft cocktail at Colby Club. The food wasn't great. We got the calamari and it was bad--cold and honestly just bland. We also ordered the beer-battered halibut. It was okay, but a bit overcooked, and it came with fries... maybe 25 total for a 3-piece fish plate. Our bill was around $65 for two beers (with the $2 off Thursday special), the calamari, and the 3-piece halibut. Just overpriced for what it was. The place itself is cute, and they had acoustic music going, which was nice. The staff was friendly and really hustling with how busy it was. Overall, though, I didn't feel like it was worth it and probably wouldn't go back. I wish we could do .5 stars. I struggled between 2 & 3. I ended with 3 for the venue, live music (she was really good) and the awesome staff.
