Amante pizza is a fantastic family owned restaurant in the heart of downtown Everett. The pizza is amazing (shout out to the feta pizza, a white pie that is among the tastiest pizzas I've ever had). Writing this review to shout out the amazing customer service. Today I called in a large order to go (yes you can just call to place an order, no need to struggle with an app or website). When I arrived my card kept getting declined (long story, but issue with the bank that I got sorted). So embarrassing!! The folks at Amante told me to just take the pizza (I was taking it to a work function) and call once I had my card figured out and we could settle up over the phone. I got the Seafood Fettuccine with no Parmesan or cream (4.5/5). It had way more seafood than I was expecting! The only reason it isn't a five is the pesto wasn't that flavorful, despite there being a lot of it. The service was outstanding (5/5). I think it was one of the owners waiting on us, and she was very helpful and friendly; she definitely made it a memorable experience! My partner and I never get pizza so I knew I had to satisfy my recent craving. The server at the front was super kind and helpful so kudos to her. We got the Gorgonzola Guru pizza and added Italian sausage, all of which were just ok. The walnuts were an interesting addition that I thought the pizza would've been better without, but hey, to each their own. The crust was surprisingly pretty tasty. It had a good crunch but also an airiness that was nice to chew through. It was very plain though which I know other people may not prefer. At this point, I would've left a 3-star review but decided to bring it down a notch because the entire experience was extremelyyy awkward due to the lady sitting behind the counter near the back of the room. She was arguing on the phone, very loudly, about what sounded like personal finances. My partner and I weren't able to talk to each other at all throughout our time here, and her yelling even started to make me feel like I was in trouble haha. After a couple hours at Imagine Children's Museum nearby, we were in search of lunch that was good for myself, my fiancé, and our two year old. Pasta and pizza is always a hit with him, so we were happy to find this place within walking distance. Service was a little weird upon arrival. No signs that state to seat yourselves, but everybody was just in the kitchen and they glanced at us but nobody came to help us so we just picked a table... Took a good few minutes for the waitress to come address us. Upon first glance the menu prices seemed EXPENSIVE but our overall total wasn't bad at all! We split the Italian Meatballs, and the Caesar Special Pizza that has alfredo sauce, chicken, red onions, mushrooms, mozzarella & parmesan cheese. The Italian Meatballs were so good, and so was the sauce that it was sitting in. We actually were just scooping up the sauce and eating that after the meatballs were gone. The Caesar Special Pizza was also so good and insaaanely loaded with the toppings! We were shocked at the pure density of this pizza. We split a small 10 inch pizza and we still were only able to eat half of it. Definitely worth every penny. The kid's menu had a build your own pasta option for about $7 so we did that, and man, it's a GIANT serving! All three of my kids could've probably split it so it's definitely a steal. The alfredo sauce was pretty good, too. Drink prices were shockingly affordable for a beer and a cider. They had a good selection of wines, too! Overall a good experience and our son loved it, would definitely return to try more of the menu because it's crazy extensive! read more

I'm a long time fan of this place and every time I visit I kick myself for not visiting more often. It's been an Everett staple for as long as I can remember. I do prefer it to other similar type restaurants in this area. I'm always down to go here and wish more people would take me up on this offer. Food is tasty and service is friendly. They have a really great back patio area that is one of the best on a summer day/evening. Lot of options to choose from, they have a full bar, it's never too crowded, plenty of seating. They have some amazing soup options that seem to change daily. I had the most delicious soup on my visit before last and was so excited to try the vegan navy bean on my most recent visit, but sadly it was the soup from the day before. I had the Amore pizza this visit and it was so tasty, I really loved the whole kalamata olives. I also really enjoy the calzones. My only complaint is that while they do have vegan options, its easy to sub the cheese on pizza/calzone/etc and often one of the soups are vegan, they really don't advertise this fact. It seems to be something you have to be in the know about and doesn't really make reference to it on the menu. On the online ordering menu there is not even an option to select vegan cheese, while I know this is not the dietary preference of everyone I think it would be helpful it this was more widely advertised. I shared a pic of the pizza with a vegan friend and the first thing he did was go to the online menu and expressed concern that there was nothing stated about this. The gluten free pizza was excellent! There was more toppings on it than any other pizza I've ever had! The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated. But the high ceilings made conversations amplified. We asked to sit outside. It was very quiet and peaceful with some nice music playing from a nearby restaurant. I loved the colorful glass bottles that were used to decorate the area. The service was very good! We didn't have to wait too long for our food. And the waitress was friendly and accommodating. Service was horrible. The young woman seating people was incredibly unpleasant from the get go. Felt like we were putting her out to get a table. There was an older lady who came to take orders and she was so much better. Between the 7 of us, a pizza was orderer, cheese bread, mozzarella sticks, a hot salami and cheese sandwich, a meatball sub, a chicken parm sub, a side of meatballs and an order of chicken fingers. They used precooked grilled chicken and also Costco frozen meatballs and some awful 'chicken pieces and parts' chicken fingers. The side of Costco meatballs were dry and spongy. We asked for some marinara which wound up being additional. What Italian restaurant doesn't keep their meatballs in sauce? Anyway, food was awful and no, won't be going back. read more

Amantes has lost me as a customer due to the overall experience I faced with my evening during our with this restaurant earlier this evening. Where do I start the service we horrible and an embarrassment to my cousin and I who come into dine with this place. The food was less than suboar I initially ordered the lobster linguine only to find out it's. My real lobster being used in the dish it's initiation lobster, and the linguine noodles weren't even together they were cut in half which for me is unacceptable I expect to have linguini noodles like they should be. I told the waitress serving us I was unhappy with my dish and she asked if I wanted it remade or something else on the menu, so I opted for the. Chicken parmisan, which was good. Having to ask for our drinks to be refilled is horrible and should be noted the restaurant wasn't very busy during the time we were there between the hours of 715pm to 820pm. It's high time I come leave this family a review. We have been going to Amante's for about 10 years now. A business meeting introduced me to them. Best thing that ever happened! We don't visit a ton but, definitely our go to when we cannot decide what we should eat for dinner. When I call the daughter/co-owner instantly treats me as she knows exactly what we would like to eat. Greets by name and offers something new. It's has gotten to the point that I order for my better half and let her pick something for myself. All because everything I have had is phenomenal! Today, I was talking to her mother (owner) without knowing it and was a little taking back by the confusion of previous orders. Though, also thought the daughter deserves a day off. All was great on arrival. The daughter was there, greeted me by name (to this day it amazes me she knows who I am), and explains her mom took the call and she informed her mom exactly what we like. This right: here is tip top phenomenal customer service! They know their customers and if your new, they will remember you. Treat you like family and balance the customer aspect part perfectly. My husband and I decided to give this place a try one afternoon. Right from the beginning, our experience was bad. My husband wanted a table and I made a comment that said table was too big for us and we should wait and get a table for two out of respect for the establishment and servers, we were seated sight away. An elderly woman (employee or manager) can to our table and my husband asked where the restrooms were, she pointed at a wall, my husband asked again, "I am sorry but I don't see what you're pointing at, the woman pointed again and said "right there!" My husband and I couldn't see whatever she was pointing at, I got up and went up to the spot, saw an almost hidden sign that said restrooms and told my husband I had found them. The woman came to our table while was gone and said she appreciated I said something about the table as they could have a party and no big enough table for this party, I said it was ok and added that I understood, I thought that was it but this was the beginning of a series of very rude actions from the same elderly woman, at some point, she came to grab our dishes and when my husband said he was not done she made a face and literally dropped the dish on the table making a big loud noise while making eye contact and giving us rude looks. We also had to wait for my food as I had specifically asked for no mushrooms and got a pile of them in my pasta. Whoever this woman is, she has zero customer service skills, if she's an employee, someone needs to have a chat with her, if she's a manager or owner, I'm glad I got to experience that so we never go back or recommend it. read more

This place is awesome! I've never had food from this place before, it is my first time in Everett. The hotel I'm staying at has stack of their menus on a little table in the lobby. I grabbed it and called and ordered a Cobb salad. I told them dealers choice on the dressing and they supplied it with their housemade spicy ranch, which is killer! Ordered and delivered I think within five minutes fantastic salad and they supplied three little containers of dressing. No one does that! ...and it's exactly how much I needed.
