Service is slow, atmosphere is chill, food and drink is alright. This is a bar so only 21+ allowed. There was a family that came in and got turned away, so keep that in mind. It says it's a dog friendly environment but I didn't see any dogs. We ordered food at 1p and the food came out at 1:30. They have tap beers and ciders, plus specialty drinks, and canned beer and ciders as well. Menu is small so that's nice. We got a big pig flatbread, pig poutine fries, Caprese sliders, and beers. My favorite thing was the poutine fries. The shoestring garlic fries (sooo good) with a mound of pulled pork, all the cheese curds just smothered in gravy was amazing! The caprese sliders were dry and barely had balsamic, so I had to ask for more glaze. The pig pie flatbread had too many toppings so if you eat it fresh everything will just slide right off the bread. It was still really good, just had to let it sit and cool down a lot. Tonight I feel like I was in the Twilight Zone. This was the worst dining experience I've had in my 48 years of life (and this was supposed to be my bday dinner). My mom got there at 5:30, got a table and ordered a coke. Server comes by again, asks what she wants to drink, she once again says a coke. My daughter and I arrive at 5:45. Server doesn't come around till 6:15 and brings us menus that we already have and tried to walk off again. We tell him we're ready to order and place a food order (had to change choice because they were out of steak)and order 2 beers in a can and a 3rd attempt at the coke. At 6:45 we still haven't received drinks so I went up to bar and asked for them and mentioned how long it had been. The bartender acted clueless and asked what we had ordered. Other people's drinks were sitting on the bar and they were also having to ask for them. I noticed another table that was waiting for their water and took them off the bar and handed them to them. They got up and left a few minutes later as did another table because of the bad service. At this point we want to leave, but can't because we already placed a food order. At 7 my daughter checks on our food as we have a concert starting at 7:30. The server/bartender lets us know he never placed our food order. when we arrived there was only 3 other tables with customers. Having been a server before, I'm flabbergasted at how poor the service was and can't logically think of a reason why none of our stuff was actually ordered. It was bizarre. Unfortunately the manager was absolutely rude and nasty. Justine our server, however, was amazing and kind. This establishment seemed to be understaffed and ill equipped to handle weekend patrons. During our visit a few tables got up and left, and several other tables had a similar experience. I would not recommend this establishment and will not be returning. Just left the flying pig in Everett WA. I had the Angus dip and hubby had bacon and blue cheese crumbles burger. Hubby thought his burger was precooked and char'd on the grill (because I'm sure it was!) I had the Angus dip on rustic baguette with shoestring fries, got normal (cold) fries and the baguette was actually a Franz sandwich bun (basically a hotdog bun), and it tasted like pork (I'm not a fan of pork). Drink was actually good but probably had 1/4 oz of alcohol in it. Tried it and will never be back. Save you $$ and find another place to eat. read more

Came here for some drinks around 5pm on a Thursday. There were maybe 10-15 other customers there, so not dead, but also not packed. Service was friendly, but very slow. I didn't pay much attention to staffing, but seemed like there was just one person up front and a couple in the kitchen. Again, they were nice, but took too long in between drinks- easily could have gotten a couple more out of me if I had been checked in on more frequently. Didn't try the food, but it smelled good! Came to Everett and decided to check out the Flying Pig for dinner before a concert. I'm giving 2 stars as our server was cheerful and attentive. Another Star for the atmosphere being inviting. The food although cooked properly and served promptly was a disappointment. The fish n chips seemed just like what I get from the box in the grocery store right down to the triangle shape. I've eaten here twice, and gotten the Mango Bango both times. It paired well with the couple of different beers I tried, and so did the fries. Spouse and I got a beer and ordered a hamburger. 40 customers. 2 sloth-like cooks. 1 frazzled bartender. 0 owner/managers. Waited an hour for a hamburger that never came. Bartender too busy to notice our beer was done, though we sat at the bar. I watched one of the cooks work on a salad like he was painting the Mona Lisa. Cutting mushrooms! Went there for dinner Friday night, nice atmosphere, server/bartender was great... she could have used a little help seemed like she was constantly rushing, makes it hard to spend time with customers. We split a French dip and a steak and mushroom flatbread. Everything was good except the steak meat on flatbread was tough and inedible. We thought they should be using the same beef as in the French dip. We won't be ordering that particular flat bread again! French dip was great had to go to kitchen and get horse radish from chef. (It should be served with a small dish of horseradish) onion rings were okay being that they were frozen food service type onion rings. Had to pay for tartar which I'd assure that fries and onions rings should come with! Anyhow we will most likely return and try something different next time! read more

So we were happy to see the flying pig had returned. We don't remember it being such a pub-like atmosphere. It's very noisy. The food is good and the service is okay. We've been twice and aren't clamoring to return. It was just ok. It's nice to have another spot in downtown to be able to pop in without a reservation. Came here for a drink before the silvertips game. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place is. Bars in Everett don't normally feel clean. The next thing that led me to the five stars was how cold the beer was from the tap. It was so cold!! And tasty! And finally the chicken sliders were super tasty. I love this place and their food is consistently good regardless of if I eat in or get takeout. They also make really tasty cocktails. I noticed that some of their waitstaff seems to do a little better that others when the place is packed. By that I mean we just had to wait longer to put in our order and it didn't come out exactly as I had wanted it, but not a big enough deal to bother me too much. The petite woman with the long nails is a rockstar. My husband and I prefer the experience when she is working. Even when it's packed, she floats around the restaurant with a smile on her face, gives the cheeriest vibes, and service is excellent! read more

I agree that the feeling overall was a good vibe...Worth checking out. wish i had remembered to take a photo. the Fru-Fru mixed drinks were a tad on the sweet-side so you have to sip them. The Pecan stout tasted exactly like a pecan pie...and i suggest anybody that likes thick beer to try it...
