Although Lazy Boy isn't my favorite Everett brewery, I do stock Lazy Boy brew in my fridge. The amber is my favorite. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Visa and MasterCard are accepted forms of payment. Lazy Boy is family and dog friendly. Lazy Boy is a warehouse type of brewery. Location is in the middle of warehouse businesses. Indoors is cement, pipes, wires and painted/taped floors. Bring a light sweatshirt if you get cold easily. Lazy Boy offers a few light snacks: popcorn (donations welcome) and snack-sized chips. One can bring in their own food or they can order food from local restaurants. Restaurant menus are available to view. Aside from drinking brew and visiting friends/family, Lazy Boy has a couple pin ball games, darts and fooseball to play. Keep brewing tasty beer Lazy Boy and I'll keep stocking it.

As we were eating, staff began to clean up, put chairs and stools up, two or three groups came in when there was plenty of time for at least one beer and left after talking with staff. Waitress made us put remaining food in a box even though we were still eating so the kitchen staff could finish cleaning up (although they were still there when they kicked us out). A few minutes later (about 9:35 pm) we were told that we had to finish or drink as much beer from our second glass as fast as we could because they were closing. We pointed out that the posted hours were until 10:00 pm, but we ere told that they decided to close early. Unfortunately, we had already paid or there would have been no tip. Noticed they are celebrating their 10th anniversary, but hard pressed to see how they'll make it another 10 years if they're turning customers away and not even letting them finish what they've already paid for.

But now that I've tasted it for myself, I can see myself returning for more bottles of bourbon. My friends and I were having a wine tasting day in the Maltby area, and decided to check out JP as our last stop. J.P. Trodden Distilling is a small-batch distillery, featuring bourbon whiskeys. The distillery is small, but has enough room for tastings and hanging out. I did the tasting flight, which included three bourbons, one whiskey and a maple syrup! All of the tastings were fantastic, and for anyone who likes dark liquors, JP is a spot to try. I ended up taking home a bottle of the single cask bourbon, but everything is great here. Staff was friendly and accommodating and it should be noted that there were free Seattle Chocolate truffles here! If straight up bourbons aren't your thing, they also have a couple cocktails that feature the bourbon to try. This was an awesome visit and one of many!

Every bottle was met with ooohhh, hmmm, so I like that more than the last bottle? Choosing was extremely difficult & we picked 4 bottles!!! Their Scotch- Whiskey was phenomenal. The berry-ube gin wowed me (I knew just from the smell, but the flavor was... phenomenal). The happy accident bottle, a blend of gin & whiskey with a punch of lemon was bright and delightful. And the fourth bottle I'll have to update, because there were too many i loved. I can't remember which other one we picked. I highly recommend giving them a try! Fantastic service and spirits.

It took me forever to figure out where this might be located, but now I know its in an industrial area near Paine Field. Lots of parking out front and super easy to find if you use a maps app. It's not a huge place, but plenty of room for a small group. You can do a tasting or have a cocktail. You can also buy spirits to go. There is a huge variety here, whiskey, scotch, gin, etc. For 10$ you can do a tasting that includes 8 tastes. There are a variety of interesting things to try. They have a cart they bring out to pour from. You can ask tons of questions and read about all the tasting notes of whatever you try. Everything was delicious. On my next visit I will certainly try a cocktail. Do check it out if you have never been, it is worth a special trip.
