I tried the blueberry muffin but then ordered the cinnamon roll...and immediately regretted not sticking with the muffin. They warmed up the roll, which helped, but it was still just okay. The muffin was the real winner. There's plenty of seating and parking was a breeze, but I'm sure on a busy weekend, it gets more challenging. The staff wasn't the friendliest, the bakery items themselves make it a decent stop.

This local bakery is in the heart of downtown Snoqualmie. I have tried several of their baked goods…read morethanks to my sister who has visited multiple times and shared her purchases. She says the bakery is cozy and cute, plus the staff is always really kind. During her latest visit, one of the employees added a free cupcake into her box at no extra cost! Most recently, we had the following baked goods: + BLUEBERRY MUFFINS ($17 for 4): The muffins were really moist and a generous handful of blueberries were baked into each one. Apparently, they used wild blueberries for this batch! I enjoyed one for breakfast, but it would have also made for an excellent afternoon tea pairing. The muffin itself had the perfect sweetness inside, but the top was covered in coarse sugar sprinkles (which added a little crunchy texture), and I could have gone without those. + BROWNIE ($5): The brownies are huge and can be easily split between two people. We happened to get a middle piece (my favorite!), but unfortunately, its edges were dry and slightly crumbly. The center was kind of fudgy and there were large chocolate chips sprinkled throughout, but I probably wouldn't get this again. + BOSTON CREAM CROISSANT ($6): Taste-wise, this was good, but I wouldn't consider it a croissant since it was so dense. It had layers, but they were doughy, rather than airy and flaky like I would expect. The vanilla custard was smooth and the chocolate on top was decadent, so it had the Boston Cream characteristics, but more so resembled a donut with the buttery flavor of a croissant. This was quite heavy, so I was full after eating just half. + SNACKIN' CUPCAKE ($4.50): So good! Reminiscent of a Hostess cupcake, the chocolate cake was really moist, filled with a light cream and topped with a rich chocolate frosting. I ate every crumb! On another occasion, we heated up their take-and-bake CINNAMON ROLLS. These were alright, but I personally thought they could have used more cinnamon. That said, they weren't very gooey, but the dough did have that nice yeasty chew to it. It came with a small container of sugary icing, but I would have much preferred a cream cheese frosting instead. The items we've had from here have been hit or miss, but I love local bakeries like these, so I'd say it's worth coming back if we want to try their seasonal sweets or simply just pick up our favorites.

Do yourself a favor, and buy extra cookies!!…read more I was rounding out a four day trip on a nearby hike with my 16yo daughter and 20yo niece. We decided to come into town to find a bite to eat before heading back to Seattle. After lunch we took a quick stroll to window shop and came across an ice cream shop that advertised cookies. My daughter had been wanting ice cream all trip but finding something worth trying in Seattle that wasn't Salt & Straw and had easy parking just wasn't happening for us. We stopped in for ice cream and noticed there were homemade wrapped cookies available for purchase. We then noticed a sign pointing to the back that said More Cookies... we thought we were being led to the restroom but the space opened up to an entire cookie shop!!! We had some of the prepackaged cookies in hand and the woman behind the counter said that she'd replace those with fresh made ones dorm that morning! We decided on 4 cookies - Oatmeal Chocolate Chip - Chocolate Chip - Sugar Cookie with Rainbow Sprinkles - Mount Si Let me tell you... actually... I can't tell you because there are absolutely NO WORDS to describe how deliciously soft and flavorful these cookies are. Truly a sin and wish I would have gotten more for the flight back home to Los Angeles. We paid for our cookies ($4 each and worth every penny) and proceeded to also get ice cream which paired extremely well. I will have sweet dreams of the Rainbow Sprinkles Sugar Cookie for the rest of my days... sighhhhh.

What an absolute hidden gem…read more Ever since my wife was diagnosed with celiac, I have been completely devastated by our food options. It felt like every restaurant was either "gluten free" in name only or served food that tasted like flavored cardboard. We wandered in here on a whim after staying at Salish Lodge and I am so thankful we did. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome right away. Then the food came out and I have not stopped thinking about it since. My mom was so impressed she went home and bought a juicer. I wish I was exaggerating. They even offered us a sampler so we could try everything. At the time I politely declined. That was one of the worst decisions I made on this trip. I was fully expecting the treats to be pretty good for gluten free. Instead they were just flat out incredible. Honestly, I liked several of them more than the gluten packed versions I have been eating my entire life. Do yall ship?? If you have celiac, stop reading this review and go. If you do not have celiac, go anyway. This place completely changed the way I look at gluten free food. Super cute inside too.
