We've stopped in here, a couple of times when we were passing through. It's enough off the beaten path, that it feels like a real adventure, but close enough that it doesn't take all that long to get to. It's the quintessential small town ice cream shop! They had something like 20 flavors each time that we've gone, and they arranged from classic to eccentric. Everything we tried was delicious, and they tend to move very large volumes of people through very efficiently. The last couple of times we've been here, they've had lines out the door, but the move through fast enough that the kids barely have time to complain! On a recent visit to the falls, we decided to stop at Snoqualmie Ice Cream for a quick treat before heading home. When we reached the front entrance, we were greeted with windows taped up with paper and a bright orange sign stating that the premises were unsafe to enter due to a recent fire. Another hastily constructed signboard lay on the sidewalk directing patrons to their new location around the corner. We were glad to see them still operational! Single, French Toast Biscotti ($5.97) - As the only flavor we had never seen before at another ice cream shop, the French Toast Biscotti was a must get. As soon as we dug into the scoop, we were delighted with the flavors of vanilla and pancake syrup. Small chunks of biscotti, softened and soaked through with cream, dot the scoop. Even though this was in the middle of winter with the season's typical low sales, no ice crystals develop. Instead, the ice cream is delicately smooth all over, with exception of the pieces of biscotti that are slightly firmer, but easily crumble when scooped. The ice cream exhibits a bit of sticky stretchiness, likely from the addition of gums, and while the overrun is probably a little below average compared to most artisan ice cream shops, this flavor works phenomenally well. I wish this flavor were more popular! (4/5) Snoqualmie Ice Cream serves some pretty good ice cream. I would visit again the next time I'm in town. I've been to Snoqualmie Ice Cream more times than I can count growing up in the valley and it never disappoints. Due to a recent fire, the main location is closed (the one on the Main Street), but don't let that stop you! They've got a location open in the back, and it's just as great. The staff is always so kind and helpful, and the ice cream is consistently amazing. I especially love their toasted coconut, it's dairy-free, gluten-free, and absolutely delicious. Their seasonal flavors are always fun to try too. Even with the temporary setup, the quality and charm are still 100%. A must-visit whether you're a local or just passing through. read more

When I got here, I was disappointed to find that many of the flavors advertised on the QR code at the entrance were not in stock. However, the staff were very patient as we sampled several flavors. We ended up getting the pumpkin, which was not too sweet, but not exceptional. The texture was a bit like moon-sand (but not crunchy), which was an interesting experience. Smiles all around at Snoqualmie Ice cream. Came here in a group after a hike and eats at the local brewery. Needed something sweet to go with that, so a short walk to Snoqualmie Ice Cream was in order. A beautiful day draws crowds to these kinds of places so be warned but also give some props to the workers here serving up non stop scoops for hours. I was tempted to get a milkshake as my friend taunted me on what I was missing out on, so apparently, they're good here. Maybe next visit. I opted for two scoops though - one of Vanilla and the other Mukilteo Mudd which is just chocolate. (they missed out on calling Vanilla something cool like Vancouver Vanilla or something). I liked the blueberry and cardamom flavor. The sample was nice. However upon eating more of it, i see they use oatmeal as a filler. i have always loved snoqualmie ice cream but have always bought it by the pint and never at the store itself..until today. something i liked: the fact that before you even enter, there's a qr code in the front window that you can scan to peruse the current flavor offerings. something i didn't like: the ice cream case is clearly labeled that they don't offer samples or tastes. (you better know what you want and not be too experimental if you anticipate that a previously untried flavor may not meet with your approval. in my opinion, that would cause for a ruinous ice cream experience.) there were two flavors in the case this afternoon that i would easily have asked for tastes of, but that clearly wasn't going to happen and despite the cheerful girl working the counter describing both of the flavors i was interested in in detail, i still wasn't willing to take the risk on either. the seating options were great: some tables inside and some outside along the street. snoqualmie town gets it's fair share of tourists and it's close enough to snoqualmie falls that people are going to drive through and potentially seek out ice cream or a place to have lunch...or both. in general, quality and ice cream at a reasonable price per scoop. and nothing beats a good cone on a hot summer day! read more

We went a couple of times this summer and in both the place was packed. Line was outside. I felt hot in the inside. Line didn't move that fast but I can't say it was slow neither. We had yo go inside a second time and one of us finished their ice-cream in the meantime. Plenty of flavours but I guess they are always changing them. I was trying yo look for one I had a previous week and only had a picture. They told me they didn't have it. So I guess you'll have yo go and try whatever is available now. A charming little ice cream place. They have a good mix of standard ice cream flavors (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla) and eclectic ones (blueberry cardamom, Thai tea boba, root beer, etc.). We had a two-scoop waffle cone and a milk shake. Both were good, but not great. Better than an average ice cream place, if not the most memorable ice cream I've ever had. Of the three flavors tried, the root beer made for a good shake (tasting of a root beer float), the banana pudding was decadent and heavy, but the Yakima peach- which was the one that I most looked forward to- was slightly disappointing, with very faint hints of peach in the scoop I was provided and no fruit. read more

We came out to Snoqualmie to check out the falls and ended up in town at a brewery because we had a Groupon. I stopped in here on my way back to the car, because who can resist local homemade ice cream? I ended up ordering two different flavors, and both were delicious. It was back in October, so one of them was pumpkin, the other one I believe was something with blueberry. Both were amazing and decently priced, I think around $8 for the two scoops. I can only imagine the delicious flavors they have during the summertime. read more

We stopped by Snoqualmie Ice Cream based on the strength of their pints in the freezer section of our local grocery stores - especially French lavender. We were very surprised to learn how new this place was - it felt like their flagship location that should have been open for years! Anyway, we parked right outside and went in to grab a scoop or two. I got two scoops - lavender honey and cinnamon. Unfortunately, I think the staff was new, and wouldn't split a "single" size between two flavors, which could have easily been done given the size of the scoops! Anyway, the ice cream was delicious and prices were reasonable. We ate outside on their patio and enjoyed the main street of Snoqualmie afterwards. A great PNW day. read more

I came here after dinner and got two scoops in a cone. I couldn't try the flavors which was disappointing, so I went with Thai iced tea and banana cream pie. I liked the latter more because the flavor was better, as I thought the Thai iced tea was a bit light and slightly icy too. I tried my friend's Cookie Monster which apparently is just vanilla ice cream with cookies and blue flavoring.
