Vanilla iced latte was good, how can you go wrong. Service: Faster than normal today. I'm guessing the key was ordering an iced drink. Ambiance: Meh. The layout could be better. It's too hard to make food selections because everything is squished in the corner. Also, where you have to wait to pick up your drinks you block the main entrance to the store. We stopped by around 6:30, and I ordered an extra-hot latte while my husband also asked for a cup of water. We thought the employee heard him, but apparently he didn't. When I politely reminded him that we had also asked for water, he responded with attitude, pointing to someone else's water and asking if that was my name. When I said no and explained again that we had requested one, he finally gave us the water--but acted as if we were inconveniencing him. What makes it worse is that I had even left a $1 tip. The mistake wasn't ours, and there was no reason for the attitude over a simple cup of water. Experiences like this are exactly why I won't tip in places like this. read more

Today I ordered an Iced Storm Mocha and paid nearly $9 for it. I waited while several customers who ordered after me received their drinks. I was still waiting when one of the employees finally asked what I was waiting for. After checking, she found my cup with my name on it sitting there, while my drink had been left in the blender. Another employee looked at it and commented that it had become too watery. Instead of remaking the drink, they simply added more ice, blended it again, and handed it to me. Unfortunately, the drink contained large chunks of ice that wouldn't even fit through the straw. I ended up having to drink it directly from the cup, and even then I kept getting big pieces of ice. For a drink that cost nearly $9, I expected much better quality and customer service. I understand that mistakes happen, but I was disappointed that the drink wasn't remade after it had been sitting so long. Lemon Ricotta cookie is to die for!!! Cookie is soft like cake, not crunchy or chewy. Lemon flavor comes through beautifully. Frosting was delicious, light and fluffy. Nordstrom...seriously. Work on your employees and their interpersonal skills. The barista today didn't offer any greeting 'hello' or 'thank you'. Just a curt 'What would you like...that all?'. No announcement of the drink being ready either. It's as if the staff expects the customers to provide barista service versus them providing customer service. And then the system prompts for a tip...which I regretfully paid because I love a 'benefit of the doubt' moment, but the pattern is clear. Oh, how I love Nordstrom! While waiting for a gift to be wrapped (a free service btw, take advantage!) I popped down a level to grab a coffee. I tried their Minty Chocolate Cold Brew. DELICIOUS. The cold brew was perfectly smooth with the right amount of chocolate. The cold foam was an amazing texture and the mint flavor was delicious. I definitely recommend this drink... Pit stop when we need a pick me up during shopping. There are a lot of unique flavored drinks, both coffee, tea and smoothies, especially during the summer. My go-to is an orange cream fizz, which is an off the menu drink I've had since high school. The baristas are always willing to make drinks however you want them and aren't stuck to the exact drinks in the menu. The butterhorn is my favorite cookie there as well. read more

Ok this place is awesome for grabbing a quick reasonably priced healthy meal at the mall. This salad was $7 and it was amazing! They even let you chose what type of dressing personally I like the champagne vinaigrette or the cherry balsamic dressings and just use a little it goes a long way. They also have great coffee, and if you want to really treat yourself cookies and pastries! Can't say enough good things about this Ebar! read more

Whenever I'm heading to Bell Square for some shopping I have my favorite parking area which is right by Nordstrom and the skybridge, which goes from the garage to the mall and nearby is Ebar, Nordstrom's espresso bar. There is never much of a wait here, as most of the time it's usually people going into Nordstrom's or Nordstrom staff picking up coffee. Since it's basically an outdoor window shop, I love that they have placed an outdoor heating installment above you as you wait for your coffee. There are also some chairs and tables outside, and staff is also friendly. I usually get an Iced Americano, which always helps with my caffeine fix. They do have sugar-free mocha and white chocolate syrups, as well as unsweetened coconut milk. I've ordered a quad-shot sugar-free iced white chocolate before, and it didn't taste like white chocolate at all. It was more so a coconut milk latte with strong coffee. Not sure if they had my order wrong or what, but I probably wouldn't advise to get that. Stick with a basic like an Americano, which is always solid. Prices here are much cheaper than at other coffee places, including Starbucks. Also, I love that you can use your Nordstrom card here for additional points. They do have some small food items that you can see in the refrigerator such as Elleno's yogurt, sandwiches, salads, bagels, parfait cups, etc... They also sell their coffee beans that's their own brand, and some coffee accessories like mugs. read more

Zach, remember our brief visit to Nordstrom's eBar? We were with Emily (not a part of the investigation), and came across this on the way out. We decidedly were pretty spent, so a nice beverage was perfect at the time. Smoothies are not a rarity, so expectations were not high. However, one smoothie was all it took to make the grade, right Zach? Our insatiable sour tooth is what got us to try something at the eBar, and that something was the Lemon Peach smoothie. Rare is it that lemon be the primary focus of a smoothie. It worked, right Zach? The smoothie was indeed sour and whileheartedly lemon-esque! The peach component served as a suitable counterpart, bringing in subdued sweetness as to not overtake the lemon flavor. This is rather key, right Zach? I think all the baristas should get the appropriate training before they start pulling shots. Especially for the price that you pay, a certain standard should be maintained. Love their non-caffeinated juice drinks. They add just a little hit of soda to give it that surprising texture and makes you wonder where that bit of carbonation comes from. I go here at least 3-4 times a week and this place is great. Both my wife and I have tried a couple of different drinks and they've all been great. The folks working here are nice and most are at the point they even remember us when we walk up, which is a nice thing given how busy they are every day. The employees are nice, and some of the drinks are decent. But, the cookies and sweets are very dry and stale. They look delicious in the pastry case, but when you bite into it, you will find out that they are not fresh -- they taste like they are at least 1 - 2 days oldl. I've tried the molasses cookie, peanut butter cookie, snickerdoodle cookie, pumpkin scone, and others. All have been very, very dry. I keep giving them another try because the sweets look so good in the case. As for the drinks, the peppermint ice storm (available during the holidays) is good. One of the baristas suggested I get it with hemp milk and I accepted the suggestion. Holy cow, it is my new most favorite drink now packed with omegas and antioxidants!
