I've tried Woods Coffee a couple of times before but never this location. This is located in the back of the mall hence it's a little less busy than Starbucks which tends to have a big waiting line. I tried the small White Mocha and it tasted great. I asked for light whipped cream and it was still a tad sweet, so probably would ask to make it a little less sweet next time. The taste was really nice though, coupled with a little bit of whipped cream with each sip. Temperature of the drink was just hot enough. If they add an app with a reward system instead of having to load a card, that would encourage me to visit more. Also cash terminals could use support for NFC (like Apple or Samsung Pay) read more

Very friendly service, especially during the busy hours of a weekend shopping spree. I only stopped by to get a snack and chose a bear claw. The pastry choices were pretty slim and honestly didn't look too appetizing. I took my bear claw to go and walked back to the parking lot. It was only a few minutes since the bear claw was in the bag and the amount of oil or butter on the bag was a little gross. Definitely into the coffee they have going on here. The Cedar mocha with oat milk is my default go to, but all of the drinks I've had here are really good! I both like and dislike this location because it's in the mall. I've seen it get absolutely insanely packed with people waiting for their orders (I'm talking standing outside of the shop where the barista yells the order and the people closest to the door rely the info further back), which is a bad thing (well, for me. Great for business!), but it's in a really convenient location and it can be nice to have some coffee while I wait for shops to open so I can do my thing. Like the other Woods locations I've gone to, service is great here and I really like the environment they're creating. I stopped here as they opened, on an early Tuesday morning. I was one of the few in store and shopping mall in general, making the experience extremely calming and peaceful. I was in a bit of a rush, but there seemed to be a myriad of drinks and pastries available. If you get here early, the shopping mall is also "open" early, so you're able to just sit in the empty shopping mall and enjoy some peace and quiet before even the first workers come in, which makes for a calm morning. Salted Caramel Cold Brew (7/10). If you go to a coffee shop, there are two types of people -- those who are there for the quality of coffee, or those who are there for the sugar, and this drink was very much so for the latter. I will admit that at the time that I was trying this place out, I was more about just getting a taste of the sugar, but when I say that I felt as though I was drinking straight milk, that's how little I tasted the coffee. That being said, if we compared this to something of a Frappuccino or a latte, I'd say it's pretty solid, and I consumed this drink under 5 minutes. My only complaint is that they did put a lot of ice in it, which took away from the amount of drink there was, so that's something I'd adjust in the future. In the end, my experience of this place is coffee diluted for those who don't like coffee, and prefer a sugary drink that happens to wake them up -- in my head, a Starbucks or Dunkin drinker may like this place. There's nothing wrong with that, but that's not my cup of tea... or should I say coffee? read more

A hidden gem in Bellevue square, I didn't know it existed till a friend I was meeting suggested this place. And I so glad she did, it is a corner of Bellevue Square that I don't normally go to and wouldn't have found it. We both got hot chocolate's and a couple bakery items, she got a chocolate croissant, I got a savory one with spinach and cheese in it - I don't remember the name. Always love to sample local coffee place other than Starbucks. This coffee joint at the Bellevue Square (2nd floor) was very inviting with its modern, clean, and a bit of rustic decor. I opted for a iced caramel macchiato and it did not disappoint! It was the right amount of caramel, coffee, milk, and of course the ice ratio as well. I don't really go to Starbucks, so I was glad to see another coffee option while shopping at the Bellevue Square Mall. If I remember correctly, it's at the upstairs level on the Nordstrom wing. Anyways, nice looking coffee spot in the mall, I decided to get a iced coffee drink because walking around and shopping for gifts and bumping into people staring at their phone makes you real thirsty. We got the Savory Twist to share, it was ok, they will warm it up if you wish, a little cheesy, has some spinach, braided up, wasn't super flavorful but it was an ok little snack to share. The coffee is ok as well, not sure what kind they make but I would come back here as a coffee option while at the mall. Place is pretty crowded with mall folks so good luck finding a spot, there are some additional spots outside as well. Decor inside is kinda woodsy, kinda similar setup as Starbucks, they don't call it tall, grande, venti....I think they call it Spruce, Cedar, Redwood instead. So get it right! read more

It's nice to have Woods Coffee in Bell Square, especially since it's open before the mall is. I went to the mall for a private event at Nordstrom, so wanted to find a place for a quick coffee, and stumbled upon this place, which is right by the second floor entrance of Nordstrom. There were a few people at 7:30AM on a Saturday already here, with their coffee and paper, and it was nice to see how quiet the place was before the mall rush. Usually when I've passed by Woods, there's a long line in the middle of the day, so it was nice to dine-in, drink a coffee and relax at one of the tables. The coffee is good here, as it has a smoky flavor and is bold. They can also customize any kind of drink and have a ton of flavors - just ask the staff who are always friendly and willing to accommodate any order. I also like that they have 24oz. drinks, which for me, I can't live without coffee so it gets me through a long day. There is food here from small pastries to sandwiches. I like the Baja Sandwich, which you get from the fridge and the staff can heat it up for you. It's a croissant sandwich with turkey, a kind of spicy cheese, bacon and avocado. Very yummy and filling! Overall, this is a great coffee shop for Bell Square and a lifesaver for anyone who needs coffee ASAP while in the area! read more

3.5 stars. I stepped into Woods and felt like I transported into a cozy cabin, away from the hustle and bustle of the mall. The ambiance is warm while the staff is so welcoming and friendly. I must point out their unique naming conventions of drink sizes, which reference heights of trees - for example, the "Spruce" is their small and the "Redwood" is their large! Preparation of the drinks is also super fast! By the time I walked over the coffee bar to wait, it was basically ready. Woods is doing everything right, but unfortunately, I think I chose the wrong drink for myself. I tried the Nitro Cold Brew, which is coffee infused with nitrogen. When served, the coffee has a "cascading effect", a mesmerizing sight that you have to see for yourself. It had a smooth, creamy consistency and didn't leave a bitter aftertaste, however each sip was on the tart side. I couldn't drink it without adding my normal amounts of cream and sugar. Also, the Nitro's smallest size is a 16 oz. and did NOT include any ice so I definitely felt the caffeine boost for hours after. On the bright side, you do receive more coffee for the price (~$4), so it's a better value than your typical iced drink. I also tried a sip of the Peppermint Bark Mocha, which was extremely sweet and seemed to mask the flavor of the coffee. I would love to give Woods another try since service and atmosphere were wonderful. Next time I will probably just order a classic drink like a latte to taste the coffee for itself with minimal extras. read more

I've always loved Woods Coffee. The first time I had it was in Bellingham which is like 2 hours from me and I hated that it was so freaking far. But they finally opened up some more south and I have never been happier. First of all, Woods has oat milk without extra cost and I appreciate that so much. I don't use it, but I know friends who do because they can't drink lactose and I praise them for not charging extra for different types of milk. Now that I'm done with that, their coffee is never bitter and their employees are ALWAYS so so friendly and those are the things I look for the most in a cafe. They don't do anything fancy but stick to high quality beans and roasts. Their lattes and mochas are my favorite because you can still taste the depth and sweetness if it's relevant. The ambiance is nice and the quality is just so much better than starbucks or other chains I go to. read more

Woods coffee never disappoints. I think they are neck in neck with Mercury's imo. I ordered the White Mocha and it was awesome. Could have made it a bit less sweet but nevertheless was packed with flavor. It's just mind boggling that there are 3 Woods coffee in and around the area (so far) - two of them being right inside the mall. All their locations are awesome. Their coffee is actually really good , there was a huge line but of course it's in the Bellevue Square mall so that is indeed expected. When we walked in we were welcomed in. It is small and can get really crowded , people were sitting there already drinking and eating and it just seemed really tight , this would not be a place where I would want to sit and chat but it was clean , staff was really nice they all had a smile , they made my coffee fast but ... it was the wrong thing so I had to wait extra time to get my new drink but I got to keep both coffees so I got to taste both hot and cold which were really good ! Pricing is similar to Starbucks pricing . But honestly it was worth it , I would stop there and get coffee again if I was at the mall. read more

Just tried out this place recently while shopping at the mall. The interior design was the first thing caught my eyes. Tons of woods and warm cozy theme. I loved how they have all of their display of merchandises on the shelf. They look pretty beautiful especially the tumblers. Got the nitro cold brew with a Yelp voucher. This one's located in Lincoln Square mall with a pretty nice seating area. It feels cozy as if you're chilling in a cabin with all the wood flooring and walls around you. The cold brew itself tasted decent, could really taste the flavor and richness of the coffee over the bitterness. My only complaint is that the cups just love to spill, and I ruined my light wash jeans carrying the coffee a block away to my office. Wish the coffee cups were more designed to be leak proof. read more
