    Mango Cloud Cake
    Alekkz D.

I'm not sure how I felt about this whole experience. I had a few people comment that Tous Les Jours cakes are really good... I even tried a bite once. So for my husband's birthday I thought I would make the trip out to get him a TLJ cake. I called the afternoon before to check if I needed to make an order prior or I can pick up one in the display (usually what I do at bakeries). Just in case I drove all the way to Bellevue and didn't have any available, figured it was best to call. The lady barely spoke English and I tried to confirm over and over with her what I was ordering. She said my first choice wasn't available because they didn't have the ingredients (which took me a whole 5 minutes to understand in the first place this is what she was trying to tell me) so then I said, well mango would be second and I'd be happy with either or. Initial pick up time was 2pm. Then she called back to ask if 3pm was ok, I said ok. Then she said 3:30 ok? I said sure. Then she pushed to 4pm and I'm like that's fine. So I came to pick it up today, the cake was pretty and I was told 6" is the smallest. I get rang up $39 before tax. Total was like $42 and some change. I get home, I sort of get the vibe they put in half the effort? I don't know, I also thought they would have written Happy Birthday on it but it could be my fault for not asking them to write it on there. So I love all things mango, the first bite I took of the mango on top, had a good thick layer or either raw or close to skin part of the mango so I had to spit it out. The inside, I could only find one layer of the fluffy cake part (normally most Asian bakeries have 2 layers) I know because I don't like cream so my ratio to cake:cream is distinguishable. This one just felt like 80% cream with some mangoes chopped up. For $42... I don't know how I feel. The worst part? I go in to cut the cake thinking the yellow on the outside was cream decorative! BUT IT'S PLASTIC! When I unwrappped it, straight up just white cream. Also ruined the look of the cake. That I think was just the biggest disappointment leading to this 2 star review. TLDR: paid $42+ for a 6" cake, drove 2.5 hrs roundtrip in traffic, and got a disappointing cake for my husband's birthday. Don't let the pretty appearance deceive you.

    Triple berry cloud cake #2
    Annie T.

I called them day of to order a cake for my birthday. They were able to get it ready for pickup within 3 hours. I had seen the cake brochure from the website and ordered the triple berry cloud cake #2 (7-inch). The cake was so so pretty and not too sweet. The price was $43 and I think that's really reasonable! The cashier was very kind and gave me extra candles! She told me they were selling mostly holiday cakes, so they didn't have some items from their usual menu in stock. Super glad I was able to order in advance. Overall I would highly recommend TLJ cakes!

I recommend getting here when it first opens, because if you don't, you miss out on all the good treats ! Plentiful fresh options of baked treats between sweet & savory, as well as various breads, cakes, macaroons, coffees, & more. The display case is always filled with delicious cakes & macaroons, a warmer for hot & savory items such as croquettes monsieur (highly recommend warm & fresh) There's many Asian treats that I've never have seen before & so many to try (& I hope to try more!) like various taro based items, garlic cream cheese bread (sounds odd, but it's an amazing mix of sweet & savory!), & more. There's limited seating, but the seating does face towards the street life which is nice, & the service is pretty quick, thankfully, because it gets pretty busy in there ! After a nice shopping trip at H-mart, I recommended that you stop by here for a nice treat :) !

This place is inside hmart. As its other chains, this place has amazing selection of cakes and pastries. So soft and fluffy. Recommend trying each one of their pastries

Located inside H Mart, this bakery is smaller than the one in SLU. I often opt for cake slices, particularly enjoying the strawberry and mango flavors. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for cakes.

Came in really quick to grab a cake and they had a lot of options available in the case. Tous Les Jours has always been my go-to for cream cakes and this location did not disappoint. If you want a specific cake, I do recommend calling in at least one day ahead to place an order!

    Sweet potato cake
    Kim Y.

$41 sweet potato cake! If it's for a birthday, don't forget to mention it. They will include candles. The cake is pretty with its cloud-like puffs of frosting and sweet potato slices on it. The cake wasn't too sweet which we liked. The texture was soft without being greasy. The mousse part was good too. Not sure if we will return because it was rather expensive. I expected the Sweet potato slices to be crispy but they weren't which is fine. It is a nice change from all the 85c cakes and maybe healthier (wishful thinking). Their knife is cool - had a built in slot for matches! Brilliant! I found this to be more aesthetically pleasing than the bakery in hmart federal way but the cake is way smaller here. I am not sure how much it costs over there since it's been several years. The selection isn't that great. We ended up getting some green tea pastry, croissants, and cake. If you're looking for more selection, head to 85c. However, I think this place is less sweet (which I prefer). I would agree with the other reviews that the customer service skills are less than stellar. The lady behind the counter seemed less than friendly. I think that she may be tired of answering the same questions. I found that the labeling of the cakes and pastries could be improved. It wasn't clear to me what cake was what and how much it is. After a second look, I figured out that there were names of the cake and prices but they were taped around the top of the glass. Some of them had pictures but most were so old that the color wore off. They weren't in any kind of order that I could tell. It didn't seem professional how they set up the display of cakes. At other places, they have clearly printed name and price under each shelf. Some labels tell you if there are nuts or gluten-free..etc. It was confusing, so we had to ask the lady. Parking is easy but tight. Afterwards, you can shop for groceries! How convenient! Cake 4/5 Service 2/5 Value 2.5/5 Selection 2/5 Atmosphere 3/5

Every single pastry I got from here was exceptional. I love their Taro bread + all flavor breads. I am obsessed!

Their new stuffed donuts are really good
    S L.

Well I been ordering cakes from this place for years and it was decent enough. But today I decided to give them a 4 solely for their donuts! I just love the fluffy donuts with airy custard (or chocolate). And by the check out they have these twisted donut with cream cheese and custard, I believe, and they are all awesome! I also love that it's basically the same donuts as some other places where you have to wait in long line for and pay more for it. So if I can get this donut fix whenever during the weekend I want at a reasonable price, why wouldn't they get a 4!

    Mold
    Allison L.

0 stars. I bought a cake for a birthday and we sliced it the next day and there was mold in it. Our guests were disgusted and we were embarrassed we served them moldy cake. Never going to purchase from here again.

    Classic Croquette
    Eva M.

This is more of a 3.5 Stars review. Things didn't stand out enough to bump it up to 4 Stars yet. Maybe a future update. I've been to this Tous Les Jours several times now. Usually, it's later in the day so selections are typically moderate or downright slim pickings. That's on me, not on them. It might be for this reason that nothing we've bought thus far has been awe-inspiring. It's usually yeah-that's-pretty-good, not oh-wow-what-is-that-need-to-get-it-again. Because of this, I can't hardly remember what pastries I have had, and certainly don't ask me to name any. Forgettable pastries, yum (said sarcastically). Having said that, the pastries aren't bad, as I've returned multiple times. Thus far, I've had mostly pastries, none of the breads nor the cakes. I've heard good things about the cakes, so maybe one of these days. Having said all that, I recently bought some pastries that was memorable enough for me to finally write a Yelp review. Their croquettes. I bought all 3 flavors that they were selling - Classic, Kimchee, and Curry. I really like savory pastries, and they can be hard to find so I was excited to try these. All in all, I like the quality of the bread itself which is crispy, flavorful, with bits of bread crumbs (I think) that adds a lot of texture. The flavor of each was not as distinctive. I liked the classic the most. The curry was crazy greasy; just picking up the bagged pastry in the store left my fingers greasy. They handed me a bunch of napkins to wipe my hand. The kimchee was pretty good too, but the flavor didn't stand out. I would still buy it though if they are out of the classic. A note about the service. A few reviews mentioned aloofness. I agree, especially when I encounter one of the Korean ladies (might be the owner?). It's much better when it's one of the younger staff that's helping me. That's my tip. ;)

TOUS les JOURS Bakery @ H-Mart, Bellevue
    J Z.

Located inside H-Mart (Bellevue), a Korean supermarket (which is probably why it is unknown to more customers since it is at a corner), "Tous Les Jours" sounds like a French brand and is actually closer to Asian style (or "Western" style in China but not found familiar at American bakery store). Competitive to larger merchandising branch (e.g. 85 degree), it is a very small store. For years, the biscuits, bread, and coffee/green tea rolls are mostly a family can pick up from its shelf area. And for birthday occasions or once for a while, why not buy a pretty birthday/cream cakes (rather than window shopping while grocery at H-Mart)?

The matcha - I was pleased to taste that they used very good quality matcha powder. The drink was smooth, creamy, and a little sweet from the vanilla syrup. The seafood tartine- I was a little disappointed to see the seafood to toast ratio. I wish they gave twice as much of the seafood mixture. That said, they did give ample toast. It was more than double the width of a normal slice. The texture of the bread was also soft. It was moist and dry at the same time - hard to describe. You could tell they didn't skimp on the butter. It reminded me a little of corn bread, but didn't taste like cornbread at all. There was a hint of sweetness as well. Honestly you could have the toast plain and it was very nice. The staff was very friendly and efficient. My food and drink came out quickly each time. They also move through customers in line pretty quickly. I would absolutely come back to work here again, or just for a cheeky coffee and pastry. Maybe next time with headphones. :) Parking - I just parked at the library and walked the couple blocks over. Additional: they have baby changing station in the lady's restroom.

They also serve regular and specialty drinks, and my friend and I wanted to get some here. Staff here was quick with our orders. My friend got their assam boba milk tea, while I - in the best way yet - went overboard and got both their cream brûlée latte and their strawberry chiffon cake. - The creme brûlée latte was put in a cup where I couldn't see the inside of the drink, but it still tasted great despite it being late at night. Coffee is strong, and the crema has a sweet taste that blends well with the coffee itself without making the drink too bitter. - The strawberry chiffon cake was a lot even for the two of us to split but besides that it was not too sweet, and the sponge cake inside wasn't either. Outside filling tastes heavily of cheese, though. This particular cake has the face of Hello Kitty. From reviews and hearsay, I hear they have baking classes here which is really cool. I'm not much a fan of the parking situation around the area especially late at night but I love the concept and would make a trip back to have their other pastries.

First impressions: the space is genuinely charming. Everything is thoughtfully presented--very dreamy, almost cloud‑like in aesthetic. You want to love it before you even take a bite. The fruit cakes were pleasant, but this is where personal preference really matters. For me, I always lean toward more fruit, less cream. While the whipped cream feels light at first, after a few bites it starts to feel heavy and a bit greasy on the palate--pretty, but not especially restrained. The black sesame cake was the most interesting--and the most polarizing. The first bite was a true wow: deep, nutty, and indulgent. But as I worked through it, the texture became confusing. There were jelly‑like cubes mixed in that broke up the experience in a way I couldn't quite reconcile. I love black sesame, but this particular execution wasn't entirely my thing. The standout, without question, was the croissant. It's excellent--beautifully laminated, crisp where it should be, tender where it counts. I completely understand why they've earned awards here. I only wished there were a savory vegetarian option to explore the full range of what they can do. As for the coffee: visually, it's spot‑on. Flavor-wise, it misses the mark. Pouring caramel over the top without integrating it into the pulled shots means it sinks straight to the bottom. The result is an unbalanced experience--mild up top, an overwhelming sugar bomb at the end. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it. All that said, it was genuinely fun to try, and it's the kind of place I'd revisit out of curiosity--especially to see what shows up seasonally. I'd absolutely be intrigued by something like a passionfruit offering.
