Cinnabon used to be the definition of a perfect cinnamon roll. I have fond memories of their gooey cinnamon-sugar filling, pillowy dough and their unforgettable sweet cream cheese icing dripping down the sides. But it seems things have unfortunately changed since the good old days. We picked up two Classic Rolls ($7.49 each) recently and noticed that they have gotten smaller. Granted, I haven't had Cinnabon in a few years, but I remember their classic rolls used to be huge and would have touched all sides of the box. At over $7, the price is super steep for what you actually get. Our cinnamon rolls looked a little dry by the time we made it home, so I heated mine to soften it up. The dough was nice and soft, but the cinnamon filling was not the sticky ooey-gooey type that I recall. It seemed like it was just conservatively brushed on the dough. The cream cheese frosting didn't even cover the whole top. (There's a charge if you want a small cup of extra frosting.) It's not that we didn't like them per se. They just weren't the same satisfying cinnamon rolls that I had as a kid. This Cinnabon has skimped in terms of size and is stingy with the frosting & filling which are my favorite elements of any cinnamon roll. Service was friendly and quick though. As one employee handed us our boxes, she kindly pointed out a container of forks on the counter and the napkins behind us. The forks were just out in the open, so it would have been nice if they were sealed or in some sort of dispenser. read more

Honestly, I've never ordered myself a Cinnabon before, but my bf loves it, so rating is more based on his opinion. You can't ignore the smell when you walk by, or even attempt not to have a quick glance. It's hard for my bf to not think about eating one. And I always take a quick look just to see if they are offering and cool new items. Well, one day, I noticed they had the Cookie BonBite, so that, I had to try. I picked up a Cinnabon Classic Roll and the Cookie BonBite (so I can also try that) for my bf. Used to love this Cinnabon. Last time we visited here the rolls were much smaller than usual with little frosting. We had always enjoyed the coffee but the coffee was weak and the service was not as friendly. Used to be a special experience but now pretty underwhelming. Went to the Bellevue Square Cinnabon yesterday The cashier was inexperienced at his job and tried to sell us old cinnamon bites vs fresh ones and didn't really listen to what we wanted and kept suggested other items. I had a valid gift card and after a few attempts, the machine declined it, I checked the balance before leaving for the mall and it's completely fine. They offered no assistance whatsoever and just told me "oh the machine doesn't like gift cards" We were stuck trying to make a quick decision in this awkward situation The cashier wasn't helpful and just had this dumbfounded look on his face. Five stars for the food because who doesn't love Cinnabon right? However, the staff sucks. As others have mentioned, the staff here is very rude and opens late and closes early based on my experiences. I scanned some of the comments about how the staff acts, and I'd say that's all spot on and stuff I've seen first hand. I give it 3 stars because if you are up for a good cinnamon roll then its worth picking one up and going elsewhere, just be aware the staff here is terrible. read more

I had not had a cinnamon roll in years but decided to get one at Bellevue Square. Where there napkins were placed was right on top of their trash can with a hole in the top. As I was grabbing a fork and napkin, I accidentally bumped my roll into the trash. I told the girls behind the counter and they said they had to charge me again to replace it. I feel really basic for leaving a review but I just have to. I feel compelled to leave a review because it met every single expectation and craving I had. I watch a lot of competitive eaters and they've been doing the cinnabon challenge where they eat a 6-pack. I watch a lot of mindful youtube videos when I workout, this being one of them. Hence my craving for cinnabon. I've wanted one for the last two weeks but I can't allow myself to eat a whole one because the amount of calories is not worth it (okay, maybe it is). So I got a mini bun, not the baby ones but the mini. The mini bun was everything I wanted and more. Ok so I've successfully avoided Cinnabon for almost 15 years and since I've been doing very well on a veggie protein diet I figure go big on cheat day. So a Cinnabon has what 57,364 calories? Don't care and they are still as good as my first. Had a Carmel ice coffee with my liquid artery clogging Cinnabon and yum yum mother fucking scrub-diddlyum-yum. I think people thought I hadn't ever had one or maybe I was having a romantic moment with a member of the opposite sex but Damn Daniel! So freaking good, even without the extra icing. Absolutely impossible for you to walk by and not smell the strong aroma of cinnamon, it's some goodies baking that is calling your name. Cinnabon at Bellevue Square makes a delicious snack and treat for all! Yes, the product is very high in sugar and likely not good for you, but you knew this when you ordered it, so why drop them points for it? Its like saying you will not give Starbucks a good rating because they have caffeine in their products, duh! The staff is friendly, the products have always been fresh and hot when served, and they will even give you a bit more frosting if you are really daring for the sweets. If someone orders a drink, it takes 8 minutes for that employee to make it while the line gets longer with people waiting to order. I LOVE Cinnabon. The price? Cannot beat it. The flavor? Unrivaled. The speed and nice-ness of the workers? The best. I have been coming to this location in Bell Square for years now (since high school) and every time I have had a positive experience. Countless occasions I have been offered free cinnamon rolls / drinks / etc all because the workers are so nice! I came near closing once and got two boxes of HUGE cinnabons for free! That may have been one of the best days of my life.... The most recent time I went I got the "center of the roll" and it damn near changed my life. The best part of one of the best desserts in the world covered in a deliciously-sweet cream cheese frosting. Heaven on earth. The Classic roll I got was also as good as it always is. Overall: A great place to make you sick We were browsing in Bellevue Square when we smelt the delicious aroma of cinnamon emanating from Cinnabon. Since we're real suckers for cinnamon flavored things, we couldn't resist but have one EACH - that was a BAAAAAAD mistake. They looked like any ordinary cinnamon bun, but it was slathered with so much cream cheese/butter frosting it was scary. I watched the staff slapping as much frosting as possible to saturate each and every one of the buns. I took a bite - using a knife and fork and my God, it was so laden with fat and so teeth-achingly sweet it nearly put me into a coma! After a mouthful or so, I couldn't eat any more - it gave me a severe headache and I felt hyper from the sugar rush. This is a part of a chain (obviously!) and they are definitely up to par with what you expect from a Cinnabon. I've only really stopped here to partake of goods when I'm with someone who REALLY wants a cinnamon roll, but even when I'm just walking by I think of the joke about FFTs and such (Thanks, Louis CK!) which makes me smile. ;) They always seem to be well-stocked and have ridiculously sweet and indulgent drinks too. I haven't really noticed long lines here like the lines just above them at Auntie Anne's, but perhaps people just would prefer a pretzel to a roll whenever I'm at Bellevue Square. The food items here are just what you'd expect - and fresh enough - so I think it's just a matter of preference.
