This a great place for all types of goodies! They do gluten free too! I have had several orders done and they never disappoint. Most recently was my sons birthday and it was star wars themed. They were very upfront with pricing and helped me stay within my budget by offering alternative options. The owners daughter also was so very sweet coloring pictures and playing my daughter while I placed my ordered. Ambience of the boutique is just lovely and inviting!

Definitely one of the better cupcakes that I ever had. My Yelper friend C, told me about New York Cupcakes and I never got a chance to try it until now. Note that just because their name is called New York Cupcakes, it doesn't have a location in New York and has not much ties with New York. However, they were inspired by New York theme and built their brand around that concept. Anyways, I got the Mint Chocolate Truffle cupcake and it was delicious. Please note to eat it on the same day that you got it. If you have it the next day, it would be less fluffy but still very good. The Mint Chocolate Truffle cupcake had lots of flavor. All their cupcakes are made fresh on the day. The cupcake is not overly sweet. One thing to note is that if you pay using credit card they charge a 3.9% fee extra on top which is quite high (They also didn't mention this anywhere before paying). Also for $4.25 for one cupcake is quite expensive. The price does come down if you buy more but say even if you buy a dozen for $48, that is still pretty expensive for what they are charging. Note that they charge more than the famous New York cupcake Magnolia which in New York, they only charge $3.95 for one. Also don't forget Magnolia is located in New York Manhattan and they don't charge the price that New York Cupcake charges. I would come back again but will not make a special trip for it.

Best cupcake around! And I mean around because over the years (been in WA 15 years) I've tried cupcakes from other yelp top-rated bakeshops in Silverdale, Gig Harbor, University Place, Tacoma, Olympia, Puyallup, Seattle, Renton, Tukwila, and Bellevue, but this bakeshop is my favorite! And the only bakeshop I've spent the time to write a review on. Tonight, I drove one hour from Gig Harbor to Bellevue, arrived 5 minutes before closing, and the ladies working were still so nice and didn't rush me out. OK so I drove to Bellevue for dinner too, but this place was my first stop, couldn't miss it! Best cupcake? Yes!... The cake-part is super moist and has deep flavor! And I mean suuuper moist cake, you know like when you can actually "hear" the fork go thru. Amazing! The frosting is so buttery smooth with just the right sweetness! It's just the perfect level sweet to me! I can't handle the bakeshops with overly sweet frostings, like when you can taste the grainy sugar, blah. The NY Cupcakes frostings are really buttery smooth, really, promise! Sooo good!

Stumbled on this cute cupcake shop and loved it! Location: very easy to find and has tons of parking Ambience: pink decor and the inside smells sooooo good! Food: variety of cupcakes and they're light, airy and yummy! Service: very good service. :) Would definitely come back.

This is a nice store with good customer service. However the cupcakes themselves are average. Not but not that exceptional either for the price. Not much better than what you could pick at a grocery store. Not worth a visit in my opinion.

Cute and delicious baked goods in an adorable atmosphere. The hand made aprons were just as cute as you would expect.

Our New Years tradition is New York Cupcakes and Champagne at midnight on New Years Eve. Well, because of being snowed in and hectic holiday schedule we forgot to get some. On New Years day we called to check they were open. They were and Lisa said they would close around 330-4p. We explained about our tradition and how we'd really like the cupcakes. She said "come on in, we will stay open". We got there at 330p and they were open. Really appreciate Lisa staying open. Especially since our 10yr old was looking forward to the cupcakes - his favorite. This is not the first time they accommodated us on short notice. Thank you. Great taste. Variety of flavors. Good customer service. Ample parking. Environmentally friendly.

Although the feeling sitting in is spacious, there is a good amount of ambient noise, likely bouncing off of the cement structure/framing of the building. There are floor to ceiling windows spanning the length of the place, as well as on the sides, adding to the amount of light and airy feel inside. The matcha - I was pleased to taste that they used very good quality matcha powder. The drink was smooth, creamy, and a little sweet from the vanilla syrup. The seafood tartine- I was a little disappointed to see the seafood to toast ratio. I wish they gave twice as much of the seafood mixture. That said, they did give ample toast. It was more than double the width of a normal slice. The texture of the bread was also soft. It was moist and dry at the same time - hard to describe. You could tell they didn't skimp on the butter. It reminded me a little of corn bread, but didn't taste like cornbread at all. There was a hint of sweetness as well. Honestly you could have the toast plain and it was very nice. The staff was very friendly and efficient. My food and drink came out quickly each time. They also move through customers in line pretty quickly. I would absolutely come back to work here again, or just for a cheeky coffee and pastry. Maybe next time with headphones. :) Parking - I just parked at the library and walked the couple blocks over. Additional: they have baby changing station in the lady's restroom.

It also was very hard to light on fire in order to reveal the gender. We drove an hour round trip to pick it up, and my friend paid $100 for what turned out to be a low-quality, poorly executed cake. The cake itself was dry and lacked flavor. Everyone at the party took one bite and threw the rest away. Overall, the experience felt careless and not worth the price. The lighting inside is bright enough for all the colors on their cakes and general decor to stand out on their own; in other words, it's cutesy inside and I love it! The front has a ton of chiffon and crepe cakes in a display case, and there's also a bunch of cookies near the front as well. They also serve regular and specialty drinks, and my friend and I wanted to get some here. Staff here was quick with our orders. My friend got their assam boba milk tea, while I - in the best way yet - went overboard and got both their cream brûlée latte and their strawberry chiffon cake. - The creme brûlée latte was put in a cup where I couldn't see the inside of the drink, but it still tasted great despite it being late at night. Coffee is strong, and the crema has a sweet taste that blends well with the coffee itself without making the drink too bitter. - The strawberry chiffon cake was a lot even for the two of us to split but besides that it was not too sweet, and the sponge cake inside wasn't either. Outside filling tastes heavily of cheese, though. This particular cake has the face of Hello Kitty. From reviews and hearsay, I hear they have baking classes here which is really cool. I'm not much a fan of the parking situation around the area especially late at night but I love the concept and would make a trip back to have their other pastries.

I came here specifically for the Matcha Parfait, and it did not disappoint! This is not just a dessert; it's an entire experience in a glass. The parfait is beautifully layered with high-quality matcha ice cream, matcha pudding, and whipped cream. The matcha has that perfect, deep earthy flavor without being overly sweet. I loved the variety of textures, from the chewy mochi to the crunch of the cornflakes at the bottom--it keeps every bite interesting. You can tell they use premium, ceremonial-grade matcha because the color is so vibrant and the taste is incredibly smooth. The cafe has a very modern, clean, and minimalist aesthetic. It's a great place to sit down with friends or even just to treat yourself to a peaceful afternoon snack. The service was polite and efficient, even when it started to get a bit busy. Nana's is definitely the gold standard for matcha in the Bellevue area. Whether you're a die-hard matcha fan or just looking for a unique, high-quality dessert, the Matcha Parfait is a 10/10 choice! If you're not in the mood for a full parfait, their matcha lattes are also fantastic--definitely ask for it with less sugar to let the natural tea flavor shine.

Everything is thoughtfully presented--very dreamy, almost cloud‑like in aesthetic. You want to love it before you even take a bite. The fruit cakes were pleasant, but this is where personal preference really matters. For me, I always lean toward more fruit, less cream. While the whipped cream feels light at first, after a few bites it starts to feel heavy and a bit greasy on the palate--pretty, but not especially restrained. The black sesame cake was the most interesting--and the most polarizing. The first bite was a true wow: deep, nutty, and indulgent. But as I worked through it, the texture became confusing. There were jelly‑like cubes mixed in that broke up the experience in a way I couldn't quite reconcile. I love black sesame, but this particular execution wasn't entirely my thing. The standout, without question, was the croissant. It's excellent--beautifully laminated, crisp where it should be, tender where it counts. I completely understand why they've earned awards here. I only wished there were a savory vegetarian option to explore the full range of what they can do. As for the coffee: visually, it's spot‑on. Flavor-wise, it misses the mark. Pouring caramel over the top without integrating it into the pulled shots means it sinks straight to the bottom. The result is an unbalanced experience--mild up top, an overwhelming sugar bomb at the end. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it. All that said, it was genuinely fun to try, and it's the kind of place I'd revisit out of curiosity--especially to see what shows up seasonally. I'd absolutely be intrigued by something like a passionfruit offering.
