    Their whipped maple is AMAZING
    Danica S.

Such light, fluffy, scrumptious donuts! Arrived before noon and they were nearly sold out. There was a rush of people who lined up behind us, so the word is out....best donut selection in Renton! The maple bar is topped with a whipped buttery maple , and the seasonal selection of pumpkin donut rings was oh so flavorful, fluffy, and not too sweet. Our selection of 12 - one dozen was around $25, and didn't leave us with a sugar headache. A bag of donut holes were around $4. Pricing is reasonable and service quick and friendly. If you have your heart set on specific type of donuts, come early! I promise, It's worth it.

Chuck's donut shop and lucky donuts in burien is easily one the best donuts shops in the area. Better than Krispy Kreme and voodoo in my opinion. The maple bar is the star of the show! The maple is whipped, with a crunchy layer but soft inside. Perfect balance.

Yes the maple bars are worth the hype. So soft, fluffy, and not too sweet. The original glazed is good too. Not too doughy but just the right amount of chew. The donuts are so good that we even got a coffee. The waifu likes the coffee. Also the staff was very friendly fast and generous! Tho there isn't much of an ambiance yet the place is spacious and quite big. The parking lot is quite spacious and just as good of a place to enjoy your bars and holes. Tho by 840, they ran out of holes. Wow. I guess the early bird gets the holes. Solid A!

Absolutely Delicious, truly so hard to beat! Easily the best donuts I've tried. Maple bars and Boston cream are the way to go, so good! But regardless everything else there is super good you really can't go wrong with any of them

Love their maple bars! They charge extra for card, so maybe bring cash. 85 character minimum

The menu. Not too many people look at it, but at least you know the offerings.

A local legend, Chucks Donuts has graced the Renton Highlands and Washington State for decades. The owners have changed hands, but the tasty treats are ready for those starting the early morning shift at Boeing. Having that 'divey' feel, you know the donuts are going to be quality. A small family business to the core, Chuck's is ready to serve you quickly and efficiently. One thing that does distinguish them is the frosting. Not a typical hard glaze on the prototypical maple or chocolate. It's a more fluffy spread-on type. But its light, and both the maple or chocolate taste comes out in a very different but equally great tasting donut. So, if you're up early, come on over! The coffee is hot and the donuts are fresh!

Our favorite donuts on the Eastside. We always make a point to go on a Saturday when they make their cruellers. Service is quick and consistent. The shop is small with a couple chairs and tables to sit and enjoy your donuts.

Pretty tasty! First time there and the donuts are light and fluffy, not overly sweet. We will return when we're in the Seattle area.

This was truly a terrible purchasing experience. On the afternoon of May 3rd, my friend and I went…read moreto the Paris Baguette at Southcenter with his three-year-old child to buy some bread. Among the items we bought was a cheese and beef sandwich. We put it in the fridge when we got home, and the next morning, when I wanted to heat it up for breakfast, I found that the entire sandwich had turned sour. At first, I thought it was just the taste of the cheese, but when I opened the bread, a strong sour smell hit me. Worse, I had already taken a bite. Then I remembered that my friend, his three-year-old, and I had all eaten products from Paris Baguette the day before, and I got really worried. So I drove back to the store. When I arrived, a female employee greeted me. I calmly explained that I had bought a spoiled sandwich. She immediately offered to refund me. I provided my purchase receipt and the last four digits of my bank card, and asked if I could get a cash refund. She said no -- that it was company policy -- and repeatedly asked for the last four digits of my card and what time I had made the purchase. After being asked three or four times, I started to get a bit annoyed. Then a male employee took over and handled the rest, and the refund went through successfully. I believe that providing fresh ingredients is a basic principle of any food business. As a chain brand, Paris Baguette prices its products higher than non‑branded bakeries. So why are customers willing to pay more? Because a brand gives people trust -- just like how supermarkets operate by vetting products for their customers. As an established bakery brand, I assume most of your products are made in a central kitchen, with quality monitored by both systems and staff. Clearly, this was a lapse. I hope I don't end up with diarrhea today Lol

Owned by Nathan and Karen Bainbridge, PMP inhabitants the strategic and beloved location in Renton's Downtown area on 3rd Avenue and Main. This is the spiritual homebase of the PMP brand, and Renton residents, and diners, are glad its here. Their unique pies are formed by hand from machines that are, literally, over 100 years old. But PMP puts their own modern twist to the classics. They have both savory and sweet pies. I particularly enjoyed their Guiness Sheppard's Pie with a generous portion of mashed potatoes and lager based gravy. A tasty side salad is recommended to keep you honest as you cleanse your palate for other offerings. Adult beverages for your order? If I was interested in custom macarons, I would most definitely order some from Macadons. The flavor in this case is a simple vanilla, which has its charms, though I typically buy other flavors. The shell doesn't have the characteristic slight crispy, which is understandable since these are not fresh from the store. I had a friend gathering to go to the same night, and wanted to bring some desserts so this place came to mind. For it being very wet and rainy, this place feels like a nice relief from all that with the bright lighting and the cafe-like feel of the place. There's a grassy wall near the back for photo ops, and there are some tables, window seating and front couch seating. They don't only sell macarons here; there's also coffee, tea, and macaron ice cream sandwiches. I got a baker's dozen, which comes with 12 randomly assorted regular-sized macarons in a small container. This particular one came with three limited flavors: red velvet, cran-orange and a pear-like flavor. They were marked separately on a card provided with the box that shows all their regular offerings of macaron flavors. This came to $36 compared to $40 for the same number of macarons if you wanted to choose specifically which flavors you wanted instead. I also got myself a Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich; each one is prepackaged and $8. Both people working at the counter were extremely helpful in helping me decide what to get, and explaining the differences between both sets. Flavor wise, I was not disappointed: - My Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich hit the spot! The macarons did not come apart too easily and I could still maintain the shape of the sandwich throughout. Ice cream consistency is great, and the Thai tea flavor is not too strong. The whole thing is not too sweet by itself either, and this goes for all of their macarons in general. From other visits to their stand during conventions, I recommend their Cap'n Crunch berry, lemon, peach and durian flavors for ice cream sandwiches. - One of my friends and I loved the Vietnamese coffee flavored macaron. Taste is strong like phin-brewed coffee and it didn't have much sweet of a taste, something that would not have done well for this flavor. - The cran-orange and blueberry flavors were our other favorites; both had tastes that reminded me a lot of their respective flavors. - The box also had dark chocolate, vanilla, ube, Thai tea, pistachio and salted caramel flavors. All were decent and tasty. What I like about this place is that the taste for all of their macarons is exactly as advertised and never bogged down by the flavor that macaron shells are usually full of. I can't eat too many of these at once since they can be too sweet over time, so I would save these for a group setting where you can share these. By themselves, they are a great way to get your sweet tooth the love it needs!
