    Mochi nut donut
    Brian H.

I have seen the light, and it is deep-fried. Nestled in Burien's downtown, this unassuming donut sanctuary has been serving up sugary enlightenment for over two decades. The counter guy--friendly and efficient, like he's got a sixth sense for sugar-deprived souls--hands over a box that should probably come with a warning label. It took me 3 years to match schedules but I finally got in! First up: a mochi nut donut, so chewy and perfect it makes me question every basic cake donut I've ever tolerated. Then, a bear claw the size of a toddler's face, its buttery layers whispering sweet nothings to my arteries. Finally, an absurdly flaky, cinnamon-covered creation that crumbled like my willpower. The coffee? Hot. The vibes? Chill. The regret? Nonexistent.

I wanted a cronut and apparently they only have those certain days. Regardless, they had a good selection of everything else that morn. We grabbed a variety of cake and raised. Both types were soft and fresh. The consistency of the icing was a bit different on the cakes, but the taste was good and not overly sweet. We definitely enjoyed them. (Fair prices, cordial service, large parking lot)

    Just some of their selection!

The best hole-in-the-wall donut shop in town! Haha.. get it? ;-) I have been coming here since my toddler days! 22 years later and I still stop in when I am within the vicinity. Since I first started coming here, the original owners have retired but passed the business to someone else in the family and have kept the amazing recipes. I am SO glad nothing has changed! The service is always so genuine, wholesome and leaves me feeling so happy. Plus, it is Asian-owned and I love supporting my Asian community. You can also sit inside which is what I always did/do with my mom and Grandma. There is one "donut" chair that has been there forever and I always sit in it. To be honest, I actualy am not a big donut person but I absolutely LOVE Lucky Donuts! They are the most light and fluffy donuts I have ever had and nothing I have tried compares. The perfect amount of sweetness, not greasy, and just perfect in every way. If you stop in, you NEED to try their maple bars! I took all they had left today because they are just that good. While you're there, try a classic sugar donut! And a chocolate custard filled! And.. just do yourself a favor and get a dozen! I hope you enjoy this business as much as me and my family does. Thank you, Lucky Donuts, for being the best!

The best donuts in the Tukwila/Burien area by far. They are so fluffy and mouthwatering. Just perfection!

I am thinking about these donuts 3 days later at 1:27qm. Please go support this local business. Idk what's sweeter, the donuts or the service. Both were delish.

Simple corner donuts shop. Completely unassuming. But utterly amazing. The service has always been phenomenal.

I had stopped by the Burien site back in 2023, but was glad to finally stop in on 3/22/25. Easy peasy parking lot, some onsite seating to indulge in your ice cream and/or cookie treats. The pastry case is an awesome sight and well stocked! There's also an adjacent production area to the retail counter. Pleasant, welcoming counter person who nicely packaged my half dozen, two each of birthday, peanut butter chocolate, brown butter chocolate chip, and my long time accrued freebie, I selected lemon. Cookies are moist, reasonably sized & priced, and not overly sweet. The greater Seattle area is blessed with a variety of cookie indies like Lowrider Cookie Company.

Their cookies aren't too big, so you can opt to share or have a cookie all to yourself. My favorite was their cookies & cream or their holiday mint chocolate cookie. It's a great place to stop by for a quick treat that is decently priced. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and it's very nice inside. I love how the owner's dog is the inspiration for their logo!

I've been here a couple of times now, and everything I've had has been memorable, which is not something I say lightly about sandwiches- a category that can betray you! The Ragnar's Club is a stellar concoction of herb roasted chicken breast, bacon, cheese, and apple jalapeño slaw. It's a delicious mess. The kind where things are happening all at once and every single thing is a good idea. Absolutely outstanding. On my most recent visit, I had the Fidel Cashflow, which features some of the most tender, perfectly seasoned pork belly I've had on a sandwich. It's like an Uber Cubano--familiar, comforting, but leveled up with serious execution. Two visits, two excellent sandwiches, which now has me fully convinced that everything on the menu is as good as it looks. I trust them. I would let them choose my sandwich destiny. Service is super friendly. You order at the counter, but you're met with genuine smiles and a helpful, welcoming attitude that makes you feel like you made a very good life choice. Parking isn't the easiest, but you'll figure it out. The space itself is tiny, with just a few tables, so while you can eat there, a lot of people seem to grab it to go--presumably to eat it somewhere quiet and reflect on how good it was. Sandwich shops are a dime a dozen. Really good ones are a special find. This is a really good one. Destination-worthy

I wanted to like this place because it's in a warm and welcoming part of Olde Burien, right across the street from Stevie's Famous Pizza. I got the Iris which was described as a vegan strawberry shortcake. I wanted to try their vegan cookie because I cannot digest milk protein well. The cookie barely tasted of strawberries which was very disappointing, but strangely tasted like there were nuts inside even though no nuts were mentioned in the description. It was way too sweet and not baked enough in the middle. I only ate one third of the cookie before I called it quits. My hubs got the Celeste which was an orange mango dark chocolate cookie. He also found it to be too sweet, not balanced between the three flavors, and not quite baked enough in the center. If you like to eat raw cookie dough or prefer your cookies just baked past the raw stage, you might like Treat, but for us, this place is a hard pass.

The place is mostly take out but they have a few seatings. It's not super quiet but also not loud or feel rushed or chaotic or anything. I got a couple of cookies and it was pretty good. I was surprised how much I like the gluten free one but could barely taste the potato chips that was in it. The Celeste was probably my favorite. The strawberry shortcake was a little one note for me. The cinnamon roll was a little disappointing to be honest. I think they forgot to caramelize the sugar because everything was just soft. It was a little too wet and dense as well. Overall, still a good place for Cookie
