The staff was so friendly here and it was nice an cozy despite the freezing temps outside. I had a delish Carmel hazelnut latte and was not disappointed. Plus the croissant I ordered was warm and a decent size.

Cremello Cafe is a delightful place for a beverage and a tasty treat! I had questions that were answered with care and enjoyed a delicious "hot buttered latte" and sampled two toasty breakfast items that absolutely hit the spot! There were so many items that looked AMAZING, it was really hard to choose, but I'd say you really can't go wrong (so far they've been 10 out of 10)! The "cinnamon roll" (more like the Viking Cup from Sluy's bakery in Poulsbo) and the ham and cheese biscuit were to *die* for and were heated perfectly so the cinnamon roll dough was light and flaky and the cream cheese frosting was warm and gooey, while the ham and cheese biscuit was soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside with melty cheese on the ham. (I detest rosemary, which I didn't realize was in the biscuit, but it didn't bother me at all, as it was so full of other delicious herby-cheese flavors!) Sadly, there was a glass pane broken on one side of the triangle seat, so I only had views out the front and opposite side, with a bit of a draft through the pressboard currently covering the hole, but it was still a nice spot to watch the world go by. Other seating throughout the shop also looked nice, and I could see cozying up here for a while and working my way through the pastry case and selection of other coffee and non-coffee drinks to while away the time. Dine-in coffee was served in a heavy mug with a nicely curved shape (16oz max), and the pastries were served on ceramic plates with "fancy" silverware, including a small but sharp butter knife, so as to not be overwhelming on the plate or causing it to awkwardly slide off or be in my way. Thoroughly enjoyed my first trip here and will be sure it's not my last! (Sadly no photos of my coffee or edibles, as I gobbled them down before I thought to snap a picture, but enjoy a photo of the pastry case!) Update: I decided to take a drink to go and decided to try their caramel apple cider (not exactly called that, but close, and sounded even better). Unfortunately it tasted mostly of water. I think it's fair to say something may have gone wrong in the serving of it, as it had previously not been available (he removed the sticker crossing it off the menu once I asked about it), but I would not order it again if this is how it's meant to be.

Cremello Cafe is a new coffee shop that opened up in the antique district of Tacoma. I have been to this space before when previous coffee shops were here and have always loved it! It's no exception with the current tenant and perhaps I like it even more as it's a small business and not a franchise that used to be here. Pastries and sandwiches are good here and is pretty fresh. Love the coffee and tea drinks here especially. I got the London Fog and really enjoyed it! Love that Earl Grey oriented drink! Definitely a place worth returning back to!

Very classy and beautiful. Lots of windows for natural sunlight and views to the outside. The staff are amazing and so polite. Ordered a London fog, white mocha and peanut butter and jelly frappe and they brought it right to us and they tasted amazing! Highly recommended.

We were looking for some coffee shop, and my husband saw this place. He was like let's go here. Why not trying a new fun place than going to Starbucks! We got attracted by outside of the building and the vibe immediately. We was greeted with a great smile and they were having a soft opening. One of the owner I think? Karen. She was very sweet to us and we felt very welcomed to this place. I got a rose coffee and he got americano. We shared a ham and cheese croissant. Karen learned our name and remembered it, made us felt special. Anyways, I know there are not many places that have rose syrup. Lucky for me they do! I was so happy about that since my all time fav coffeeshop took their rose syrup away:( I found this new favorite spot, and if I'm nearby Tacoma I will definitely come by again and again. I have to try lavender coffee next time for sure! My husband got americano, and he rarely compliments coffee and he only care for the caffeine usually, but he complimented the coffee and it was hot and good. The croissant was toasted, it's warm the cheese melted perfectly inside and crispy on the outside. So yes I would say this will be my favorite spot.

This location has been many coffee shops over the years, some good some bad. It's nice to see that a new eager crew has come in to serve great coffee in an unique space. The day I was there someone was even playing the piano which was lovely. Service was spot on, coffee was great and they have a wonderful selection of baked goods to go along with your drink. Sit back and enjoy the view from the large windows in this historic building!

I drive by this place all the time and love how the seating extends to the very corner of the building. It looks beautiful inside, full of natural light, and I was surprised at how much more seating is available than I initially realized. Street parking only, but there were plenty of spaces when I visited on a Wednesday afternoon. I had the caprese sandwich (delicious) and raspberry cornette (I think that was the name? Basically a delicious croissant) and both exceeded my expectations. It's easy for them to get dry and tough but both items were perfect. The menu is pretty large and my friend and I had to share when flipping through - one whole page was dedicated to syrup flavors. Seems like you can get any drink you want haha although I stuck with a regular latte and was very happy with it. Overall, I loved it and would definitely recommend!

The service was exceptional, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The coffee, especially the matcha latte, exceeded my expectations, and the pastries were simply to die for! A perfect blend of great service and delicious treats. Highly recommended :)

But then we looked cross the street on 1st, where there used to be an Anthem, and even though it was already 6pm, this sandwich shop was still open and...there was a BINGO game happening. Whaddya know? So we took a peak in and they were not only serving sandwiches but they also had a cooler full of microbrews and kombuchas, beer on tap, wine, and a whole list of cocktails made from prosecco and other non-hard liquors like Amaro. Truly something for everyone. So we gave our order to the sweet human at the counter and took our seats I'm not kidding, my Amaro sour was one of the best cocktails I've had in a while in Tacoma and so were the pretzel sticks. I want my cocktails cold, tart, and refreshing with a little kick of funk or herbs and I want my pretzels salty. You wouldn't think that's such a high bar to clear but you'd be surprised. Sandwich Starr nailed it. Our Zatan sandwich was tasty but even though the bread felt a little stale. Otherwise the decor is kinda '90s coffee house and they've got bingo! No welcome or anything or a "hey just sit anywhere you want". So I just took initiative, grabbed a menu and sat at an empty table. There's a sign that said "order at the bar" but the barkeep would go to other people and ask what they wanted. Okay, that's fine... Trying to follow the rules so I don't single myself out, I went to the bar and was asked for my ID, but why? I wasn't ordering drinks and when other people came, the barkeep didn't ask the other customers for their ID so I felt some type of way but whatever. We proceed to order the Philly and Mac & Cheese. Philly tasted great because it also came with dipping sauce. The only thing lacking was that I felt it wasn't enough. Plus It seemed like I had more bread as opposed to meat. Mac & Cheese was great also, it was soft and creamy plus it had crunchy bits. It had the consistency of valveeta cheese. We asked for the check, we waited, waited some more so I finally went to the bar and closed the tab that I didn't order drinks with, just food. I like the vibe, its like being in a classic tattoo studio with posters on the wall with classical prints from different time periods. Not a big establishment or room inside but just enough to have a modest amount of 30 people. It's a nice joint but not really for me, I'd probably order through Uber eats with this place.

I'm a big fan of breweries, especially those with several drinks on draught or tap, and if they're really good, I'll buy them in a bottle. However, I read their review and noticed that they had vegan and vegetarian options, so I thought, "You know what? That's a combination I can't resist. Beers with a delicious sandwich!" A few days later, I made plans to visit on Saturday, which happened to be one of the two days this year that it snowed in the Pirec. It was quite amusing with the parking and the snow that stuck everywhere. As soon as I walked in, the bar was buzzing with energy. It had a great vibe. I didn't think I'd get any seats, but I managed to snag one at the bar with a very friendly person. I spent all but about 3 to 4 hours there. The sandwich I ordered was called the Rainier, and it was mentioned in the review, but the name wasn't revealed. It consists of a field roast loaf, Chao vegan cheese, herbed vegan mayonnaise, tomato, red onion, and arugula on sourdough bread. I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise, even if it's vegan, so I swapped it out with some pesto-style creamy cheese, and it turned out even better than I expected. The sandwich was a perfect five out of five. I would definitely order it every time I come. It came with a side of chips, which was a great addition. The sandwich was massive, so I could only eat half of it. I took the other half home for the next day. For my beers, I'm a big stout-and-porter guy, so I went with the Fort George's. They had two options: the Salted Caramel Cavatica & Matryoshka Vanilla. Both were exceptionally flavorful and probably my favorite porters I've had in all of Washington and many other states. Unfortunately, they ran out of the Salted Caramel Cavatica, so I ended up drinking the Matryoshka Vanilla for the rest of the night and didn't mind at all. Overall, I had a fantastic time at this place. I'm definitely going to make it a regular stop in my monthly rotations around Tacoma. Highly recommend stopping by this place. It's definitely a five.
