Showed up for a buddies birthday get together. This place I would say is just ok. Nothing too special. Runs about $7 a beer on average. There is a ton of selections on tap and from the cooler. Food is so so. Typical bar food. No one working there is very friendly. Kind of just seems like they are just waiting for closing. It was super load which has nothing to do with the place. It was just busy. It was ridiculously hot in there as well. Place reads more like an upscale dive bar if that makes sense.

Cannot believe that we live less than 5 minutes away and hadn't been here. We were looking for some takeout sandwiches for the Old Town Concert in the Park, and stumbled upon Peaks and Pints. My husband ordered a beer, I had a white wine, and ordered a couple of sandwiches. I had the ham & pesto, he had the beef & beechers, both so good!! Great local spot and we will be back soon. Apologies for no pics of the sandwiches, we devoured them.

The best Tuna melt I have ever had! Tuna salad with aged white Beecher's cheddar, bright tomato and incredibly delicious sour dough bread. Pickles on the side and your choice of Tim's cascade chips or salad Do this! !!! Or try their bbq turkey sandwich...so yum!!! On a nice day sit by the windows and enjoy the open window concept and casual atmosphere feel. Lots of beers on tap and even more to choose from to take home in their giant cooler! Service is great!!!

Prior to heading to the Pantages for an event, we wanted a hearty, but healthy and casual meal. It was Friday and super crowded but we were able to find a seat. Lots of comfortable seating throughout the bar, which encourages this local friendly atmosphere. It's obvious this is a great neighborhood hangout for after work. Easy service at the bar and they bring your food in a reasonable amount of time- especially for as busy as they were. The largest selection of refrigerated ciders & beers I've ever seen covered the better part of two walls! Restrooms were VERY clean, and well maintained. My healthy chicken salad was fresh and flavorful as was my friend's Beecher's Cheese and roast grilled sandwich. We'd go back for more!

Such an amazing place! I've been here a few times before I started Yelping but it holds up from what I remember! They have a huge tap list and a ginormous cooler full of cans and bottles! Plus, their food (mainly sandwiches) is so delicious! Very quality and fresh ingredients It was pretty slammed when we got here (~5pm) but the staff was friendly even though they were busy. It died down after a little bit (630pm) but it was still poppin! They have a lot of tables and plenty of barstools, so come in a group of 6-8 and you'd be fine! I need to make an effort to come back here more often cause I'm always impressed

Oh boy, oh boy! Over the years, Peaks and Pints has become one of my favorite places! They have a fantastic vegan sandwich (as well as several others), a great selection of salads, a fresh sheet every day (most recently I had delicious spicy deviled eggs), and so many beers, cider, wine, and even cold brew coffee on tap. The service is always friendly and I enjoy the relaxed environment. Thanks for a great time every time!

. Usually I love a great beer place. Especially one with an extensive list of choices from cider, wine to of course beer. This spot has 28 choices. And the food menu is quite lovely. The pita bread and gorgonzola cheese dip appetizer was delicious. The bread was hot and toasty and the dip had a cover of olive tapenade which I love. Dirty dishes were taken away fast. The turn off here? The vibe. It is obviously a "good old boy" club hangout. Apparent as the afternoon progressed and when a new bartender came on his shift. As he did he yelled a greeting to a group of men next to my friend and I. I don't mind hardy yelling in a bar situation, but one of the obvious regulars yelled a very rude thing. The bartender made a comment about being an "A", to help out the "B's", I assume he was referring to the other bartenders, which were women, and a man behind me yelled out, "Are you referring to the Bitc....'es? You spell the rest. I don't want my review removed for foul language. Now I'm no angel with my words but, he was clearly referring to woman. The bartender approached this man and I overheard him saying he should not be driving. Obviously he had already tied one on. Now, I'm all for having a good time and even raunchy jokes. But this misogynistic behavior was extremely offensive. I might come here if I was looking for something to go, the cold case selection was great. But there are plenty of other places to go and sit and enjoy a beer. I will leave this hangout to the locals.

Visited 10/19/23. Popped in with a friend to grab a drink and some apps and we were not disappointed. Easy to order at the counter and I liked that they had a few sizes to pick from for beers so I could try a few. They also have large coolers to pick from too. Really cool set up that would make for a perfect after work HH. We got the pretzel sticks and the add on cheese and these were perfect. The cheese was a bit zestier and I would definitely add it on. We also got the garlic Gorgonzola app which was solid. Would definitely visit again.

I want a beer and just not any beer. Amazing pub in downtown Tacoma. So very many beers on tap and so much good food to order. It was nice to have a pub that did not allow kids and as a mother of 4 older adults and two grandkids, it was just nice to get away! My sister, a Tacoma resident and I enjoyed today. Spacious and cool. The decor was so cool with amazing artwork, stuffed wild animals and so many amazing trinkets for decorating. Matthew, was a well versed bartender and I asked him for his suggestions on a low ABV hazy IPA. His response was immediate with a newly stocked beer "Itsy bits" from Colorado. It was exactly what I was looking for. The menu was full of great looking sandwiches and salads, not to forget appetizers. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach. We ordered the spicy deviled eggs and pretzel sticks first. The deviled eggs had a little bite on the back end but were such a treat. OMG the pretzel sticks were glorious, great aroma, soft and salted just right. There were at least 8 fully stocked coolers of any beer, cider, wine, and ranch type water one could ask for. Please give this pub a try whenever in Tacoma. Waitstaff very friendly and could make any a recommendation for any question one has. Definitely an 8 star establishment. And may I mention, Nicole is the bomb!

We made reservations for 7:00 PM and were seated promptly upon arrival by the friendly sommelier. It was packed at 7:00! This made the noise level pretty loud so conversations were hard to keep up on. Our server was very friendly and timely. The wine and drink selections were excellent. I grabbed Mr Snuffleupagus because the concept of a tahini washed rye was too much to pass on. It was fantastic. The tahini almost comes across with a PB-like flavor. I ordered the steak frites, medium rare. We shared the pickle plate and fried mushrooms. The pickled carrots were great. Loved them. The pickled fennel was also delicious. The mushrooms were lovely - very enjoyable. The frite were awesome! You can certainly tell the they're fried in beef fat. The steak was perfect. We loved Corbeau and will certainly come back.

She was super nice, our waitress too. The place itself is very cute, super noisy (be mindful if you have hearings aids or are prone to sensory issues because it is CRAZY loud - so much so that they have noise reducing panels all over the ceiling and walls). It's very much a romantic aesthetic but the tiny tables become a nuisance when they bring you a plate per food item (steak and fries come separately, etc). The food itself is where we were kind of... disappointed is too strong a word, but something nearing it? We ordered the bread (which should never be $7 but here we are), the French onion soup, the steak and frites and the scallops. I'm a Spaniard so I'm very used to carne en salsa de pimienta, which I feel is what the steak sauce was meant to be. It was, don't get me wrong, it was just pepper on steroids! It definitely wakes you up!! It was missing some other spice or herb that I couldn't quite place but it wasn't bad at all, just definitely strong. Personally, the steak was well cooked but my husband said it was too dry for medium. The fries were very tasty but we are still team duck fat, and the soup was okay, but we've had tastier. Our main gripe was with the scallops. Keep in mind that the scallops were $47 (the steak was $45). The scallops were served over a bed of lentils and radish slices for some reason. Well, lentils, radishes AND ginger. By ginger, I mean all of the ginger in all the worlds' countries. Horseradish could give this dish a run for its money in the nasal clearing department. We didn't understand the almost Indian flavors in tacoma-french cuisine. It didn't pair well with the scallops and the rest of the menu, honestly. We couldn't eat it so basically we paid $47 for 5 scallops. Lovely that financial journey for us! If you're into sensorial challenges, both auditory and gustation, then Corbeau is the place for you! It's a nice place for a fancy looking dinner, but you won't be able to hold a proper conversation unless you're yelling. Also, don't be surprised - there's a 20% surcharge on every check.

I'm 99% sure it didn't have croutons buried in the middle, but she freaked out that her fork hit something crunchy and hard. Was most likely bacon but whatever. (The bacon was cooked too crispy perfection visually). She lost it. He didn't argue and had her another one made with the bacon on the side. Kuddos to him. While I fully sympathize with her concerns with gluten, she didn't fish out an actual crouton to show. The 3 cheese burger is absolutely a must!
