pizza was amazing! it might be my favorite pizza in town (second camp colvo)! theyre 10" pizzas but such quality crust and ingredients. my partner and i shared two pizzas and had two pieces left over (he's a big eater and i am not). rosemarys baby and white rabbit. white rabbit was a must get! rosemarys baby was also delicious who doesn't love pesto?! i took a picture of the rosemarys baby but forgot the white rabbit i was so excited and hungry. shucks maybe ill have to go back lol service was great and fast and the pizzas are hand tossed and dressed and baked in a pizza oven right out in the open. of course they have their taps which are always good!! it's a family to friends to date friendly environment. street parking only but it's a loooong street.
Place is welcoming and employees are friendly and helpful. We ordered the Honey Jalapeño Pimento Cheese. This went great with the beer flight of 4 selected beers. I enjoyed the porter and my wife ended the Prickly Pear and Cherry. This was our first time here. This place was lively for a Sunday afternoon. I would highly recommend. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is due to the beers really didnt don't for me. A taste thing for me. I like porters and don't think you need to mask it with peanut butter. Anyways my taste preference. Each to there own. You definitely need to come in and try and make your own determination.
Had super high hopes for this place but it was just alright. Pizza was good, but we've had way way better in Tacoma. Didn't really like any of the beers. We were super excited about the PB&J cake.... It honestly was bad. Nothing peanut buttery or jelly like about it. The lady who brought us our appetizers was so sweet and even offered to put in our pizza order bc the line was long. Also guy pouring beers was kind and patient. Inside is nice. Loved the doll heads as beer tap handles!
I have always liked Sig Brewing Company and I was glad when this vacant space got filled for a brewery that was here prior (Scamp Brewing). I made it here for the first time as Sig a few weeks ago and the same quality for the beer is consistent with their main taproom as one would hope. The beers are always creative and fun to drink. I had two of their beers, one that I have had before and one that was new to me. The Fair is Canceled was one that I have had before. It is a sour gose type beer and is reminiscent of cotton candy for that fair aspect. Also you will find it fruity, tart and sweet (but not too sweet) and with a clean aftertaste. It's a nice light bodied beer as well. The next beer I had was one I never had before. That was the Ultimate Altbier Wavers. The Altbier style I often don't get to try very often and so when the opportunity arises I always like to try it. Flavors you can expect to find in this beer are malty, roasty, caramel, fruitiness and some acidic qualities. Good first experience at the new Sig location but we weren't really thinking that it would be all that different (they don't serve food here though like the other location) as far as enjoyability and we Steve and I are glad that that was confirmed.
A top 3 brewery for me in Tacoma. Great beer and a really cool atmosphere. Try the food you'll be glad you did. Awesome selection of beer made in house and plenty of tall-boys to go.
Awesome local brewery!! I'm part of Packmule further up north so when Brian told me he was going to Sig to pick up some snickerdoodle beer after he saw me I knew I had to make my way down to Tacoma before it all sold out! I ended up poking my head in shortly after opening on a Saturday and found that there were already a few people hanging out. Very large, open, clean establishment and I really liked the vibe. 100% going to come here to hang out and eat pizza some time! I came for the snickerdoodle stout (which came in cans) and also brought my growler. The beertender was super friendly and showed me which beers were available for growler fills. So, so many choices!! A lot of them aren't for growlers so that right there basically guarantees that I must come back! Both of the beers I brought home were fantastic and I'm looking forward to seeing them again in the near future.
Wow! We were so impressed by the food and drinks at this brewery. Our servers let us try several of the beers on tap. They checked on us frequently. We liked everything we tried, which surprised us. I opted for the tangerine creamsicle IPA and my boyfriend got the Pedone Pilsner and Layers Club Stout. We had a blast playing trivia (takes place on Wednesday nights). Check out their website for their other events. I think this might be our new favorite spot!

This is what was so dissapointing: -We arrived at 4:15 mins just to be hastily told "you can come in here for one round but I'm trying to get out of here we close at 5." Obviously, did not order food since it already felt like we were being rushed out. -Heavy metal music blaring - obvious sign of "please leave the establishment", lol -I was given the wrong item (Taste of the Blue Lagoon, was really artificial and strange, not my taste) when I wanted the Blue Lagoon Slush. Asked for them to be switched out, and was scared to ask because the guy helping us out was so grumpy lol. The slush was strangely frothy and not alcoholic at all, I think it was the end of the day and the bottom of the barrel. Then was charged for the more expensive item :( Not a big deal, at that point just was trying to get out of there so paid for it anyways. Anyways, probably won't be coming back anytime soon around closing at least!
There have been many brewpubs opening up around Tacoma so it's good to try them all and compare. For me, Sig stands out as the beer is excellent, the staff even better, and the food is memorable. Their pizza is outstanding...great crust, wood fired, and clever ingredients like an Italian grinder made into a pizza and an Al Pastor variant with pineapple. Don't miss the House Salad which is enough for 2-3 people!
Came here on a Sunday after hearing good things from friends. Was busy on the inside with a short line for ordering. Decided to get the sliders, Mac n cheese, and watermelon slushee. The foam on the slushee and general taste wasn't great. Sliders were okay, Mac n cheese was also okay, but I found a hair in my bite and with the sides. Sat outside and wished the outdoor space was a bit nicer to meet the interior. Only "service" was really people delivering food.
Clean simple space with some fun decor. The food was incredible, I went back to my leftovers over and over until they were gone & I'm a leftover snob - besides the gnocchi doesn't eat well the 2nd, & 3rd time you go back for it. The flavor was so intense though and just hit the spot for me I couldn't stop it was ridiculous. Plenty of street parking. Friendly peeps, I'd without a doubt go back!! I mean there's more food I haven't tried yet!!!!!! (:
Going to a brewery you don't expect that there is going to be good food. For someone who doesn't love beer, the food was the main attraction. The meatballs and gnocchi were delicious! It is also kid friendly until a certain time and has trivia. Not a lot of options if you don't like beer, which makes sense for a brewery. Red wine on tap was okay. There is mainly street parking, but it wasn't very difficult.
The Banh Mizza is a unique pizza you may want to try just to try something new. I was immediately intrigued when I read it on the menu but we also ordered a classic Margherita pizza because no way can you go wrong with a Margherita. It's actually pretty good here and the tomato was cut up and spread all over rather than big tomato pieces so it had an even taste. The Banh Mizza is shockingly good but I could only eat a few pieces of it before it loses it's appeal. Unfortunately the crust on both pizzas were underwhelming. We stood near the pizza area before being seated outside and we noticed a slight burnt smell as we waited. Sure enough all the pizzas coming out had burnt bits of crust, and not the good kind. The crust could definitely improve and then these pizzas would be top notch! We came for the beer though so this place hits the mark with a nice variety and the presentation of the beer flights is pretty cool. Since we had a dog with us, we had to sit outside in their outdoor patio. It's just plastic tables and chairs set up in what would be their parking lot but its closed off to others walking by. Inside looks pretty cool. There is a window so you can see the distilling process and the bar seating near the pizza oven seems like a cool spot to hang out. Bar seating was also plentiful and again, the beer selection is not bad! Kids are only welcome before 7.

On a beer tasting mission! Tried all the IPAs. Some were good some were not. Decent variety of beers ok tap. The space is a bit loud (was pretty full) but very modern and cute. We had the deviled eggs and was a perfect snack. Service was quick too! Would I come back for a beer? Yes! read more
Sig has a great beer selection and they also offer food, which is more interesting than your normal brewery food of pizza and pretzels. I wanted to visit this location since I've had their beer before and really enjoy it so this was a good opportunity for me to visit their tap room. I stopped by on a Sunday and they had NFL football on (the RedZone, which makes it even better!), and also ordered some food. Overall, the quality and selection of both the food and beer were top notch. I also got some new Spotify playlist recommendations from the bartender based on what was playing in the brewery, which was a plus. So I was happy with the service and their music selection. read more

Recommend - must try when in Tacoma. Beers are all good, even the heavy DDH IPA. All very smooth and drinkable ... dangerous! Ordered the house salad, it will feed 2-3 people depending on how hungry you are. Great spot, lots of parking, inside is clean, bartenders are friendly. Local sports are playing on the TVs and it seems like a locals hangout. read more

Fun place to come hangout and grab a drink and some food. There's wasn't an updated menu on yelp or anywhere that I could find so I called in trying to order a pizza that they have not had in a while and confused myself and the poor employee. Overall service was friendly and quick and got me in and out fast. The place itself was very comfortable and casual so a nice place to just hang out for sure. read more

My husband and I stopped here and got a flight of beer and some appetizers! I LOVE how they organize the flights and the beers were amazing. The overall feel of the establishment is your typical brewery feel, which I like but the FOOD!?! DE-LISH!! We got hummus and deviled eggs, it was sooooo good. Excellent flavor and just the perfect amount of food to go with our beers. We will definitely be back! read more

10 out 20 food today. The last couple times have not been great. Kitchen definitely stepped up the game. The service was spectacular again today. Here for trivia night and stayed for the ambiance. When you come by make sure you say hi to Ryan the host. read more

Nice selection of beers and pizza. Didn't have any pizza, but the beers were tasty. Also tried the slushy seltzer which was also delicious. The interior was well designed, comfortable and clean. Well behaved dogs are welcomed. read more

Visited for lunch on a Friday shortly after noon and got a table right away. The place filled up fast with 25% limited capacity due to Covid. Three of us ordered beer flights and we enjoyed trying them all. I appreciate Sig having flights and smaller pours. Their were two hard seltzer's available which is great for gluten free folks. I do hate the design of their flight tray/tower. I almost dropped my glass a few times. I wish they would use a less fancy option. I would give them 1 star based only on that. We ordered jalepeno gougeres for appetizer. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy them very much. A different take on poppers. Good flavor, but I thought the consistency with the pastry didn't go great together. We shared two pizzas; the Al Pastor, and Mani Pesto. Their pizzas really shine. They were both cooked great, and were very tasty. I'd definitely order a pizza again. Service was fast and friendly. read more

Fantastic pizza made even better with a great sauce pairing. The Everything Bagel Dill Ranch "Crust Sauce" really made our lunch. Not to mention the delicious Wit beer and exceptional Milkshake IPA. read more
Where do I start with this place! I went to try a beer that sounded good and had a hilarious name (If U Seek Hazy), and what I found was a brewery with not only solid beer, but incredible food. I have been back for brunch, I have been back with my family, I have been back with my in-laws, I have been back with my dogs (when the patio was open). This place is amazing. The beers and food are constantly changing and do not disappoint. I only wish the full menu was available for takeout! read more

Sig is a ten-minute walk from home which is the most exciting part for my household. My partner is gluten-free, so this place a hard compromise for him (few seltzers and no GF pizza... yet (?)), but we had EXCELLEcomments about the shared deviled eggs. Of the two seltzers available, the chosen one (To Defy the Laws of Tradition) was really delicious. My chosen beer, Zest Friends Forever, was equally delightful. Fun draft names! Minimalist decor and ambience. Not a memorable physical presence, which would have amplified the experience. Outdoor seating was also basic, but appreciated on a fall day. For dog parents -- they are welcomed on the patio. read more

Haven't left a review in awhile, but Sig has me inspired! We here for drinks, but ended up finding out that they have some of the best food in Tacoma, too!!! The colors, presentation, flavors, textures- each dish we tried had us smiling. I love that they have some exciting vegetarian options! My favorite thing was the burrata and tomatoes. I feel lucky that place is walking distance to my home, and we'll be going back often! read more

What an amazing place for brunch. Oh my goodness the food is phenomenal and the portion sizes are well worth the money...right now due to food chain management distribution they can't get in some of their items for their signature dishes. They let you know this on the menu. It is sad to know it's off the menu until they can get the supply back in but what they can still make and create is worth it. Check it out. I'm not a beer drinker and I still find something to drink as well. They have a great selection of beer and let you taste before you buy. Please go check this amazing food place out. read more

The food was great. Deviled eggs and pizza were very dynamic. Service is kind and attentive. Music depends on who's working. Today was definitely Fall Out Boy 2000's radio. The beers were weird and wonderful. They have seltzer and mexican lager and a crazy blue razz sour that tastes exactly like blue sour straws. If you like an IPA, there are plenty to choose from. Have already recommended to others. Will be back. read more
