This place is good. I've only been here once before, but I need to keep it in my usual snack rotation because the food is bomb. Last week I had been feening for some sliders BAD. Come to find out they had them here, so after a walk on Saturday my husband and I headed over for a beer and snack. Alas, I got my sliders. They were bomb. I will be back asap- & I'm not sharing next time. The ambiance is chill, open and casuals. Service has been awesome both times I stopped in.

Ambience around the fire pit. So lovely

Love Berliner! Love being able to sit next to the fire pit. Wings really good!! Only complaint was our last visit and my husband ordered the sliders with fries, and the fries were very cold and had been sitting out. This hasn't been consistent with our other visits, and normally the fries are pretty good.

Cane here for a small get together for a birthday and did not know this place existed. The place is spacious and family friendly. I didn't expect so many families with small children dining here. They have a great variety of beers and cocktails. And their pretzel is the BEST! So good! Very large, soften and crunchy at the same time and the cheese that comes with it! So good! Also their deep fried pickles and wings were great! Tried their sausages with a side of fries and we will definitely be back!

Berlin Beer Hall is 100% worth the trip--even if it's in a slightly sketchier part of town. Once you're inside, it's all gemütlichkeit. The beer is always fresh, perfectly poured, and yes, you can (and should) get a full liter. We had fast, friendly service, and every single person in our group loved their meal--solid portions, great flavors, no complaints. We happened to come on trivia night and ended up staying for two rounds. It was honestly some of the best-run trivia I've been to--well-structured, clever, and actually challenging in a fun way. This place is such a gem. We'll definitely be back.

What a great spot! Super cool decor and vibe inside! Variety of seating from picnic benches to large community tables to bar seating. The staff is over the top friendly and personable! Since we don't have any German places near home we went with the biggest option - the Berliner plate! 5 sausages, sauerkraut, toasted bread, radishes and gherkins! Plus a side salad and spatzle! Everything was fantastic!! Definitely enough to feed a group!

I enjoy going to Berliner beerhall with my husband for good German food and beer! Service has been excellent and we love the atmosphere. Everything Ive had has been good including the burger, schnitzel, sausages and pretzel. My husband enjoys being able to order a stein of beer. I also love all the steins they have decorating the restaurant. We live near the T line and enjoy that we can take it and walk over without worrying about parking. I recommend coming here for good food and vibes!

This place has a great selection of German beers - including some I can't find anywhere else. It is a very cool environment and is warm and comfortable. The service was fantastic too and a good blend of attentive and fun. I ate a gruner salad and ham hock. The ham hock was perfect - crispy, juicy, and the sides are German as can be. I will be back every time I'm in Tacoma.

the food here is pretty good. a bit on the saltier side, but if you like that, then maybe it is just at the perfect level. makes for great leftovers, though! hella alcohol, so you should at least try to order one with your dish. not a big fan of beer, so it was just okay to me lol service was actually super duper great. very attentive and ensure that you are topped off at the table whether it be with drinks or food. they make sure that you have something available. not at all pushy if you do not want to order anymore, but still want to hang around. very likable people who know how to make jokes, hehe I like that there are two levels at which you could sit at, including a bar area. very crowded and dim, though, so watch where you are going. I wish that they made it more clear that you could sit on the second floor without reservations because it would seem vacant until someone was brave enough to ask lol...I feel like they should make it clear when seating that you have upstairs as an option, too. make sure you do not trip on your way up, though, because no extra lighting by the stairway

1st I have to thank our waitress. She was the bomb. We had about 20 people upstairs. Everything was set amazingly. I still don't know how she did it. No one in my group was disappointed. The food was all amazing. Nothing bad to say. Want to thank all the staff that help deliver the food hot. This is my 4th or 5 time here. Highly recommend. Best time had by all. Thank you Berliner staff especially our waitress.

Fried pickles. Big serving. Tangy homemade ranch. Recommended.

This was a nice, 5 star experience for an early dinner. My wife and I have always wanted to try this place, and a doctor appointment in the area on a late Friday afternoon gave us the opportunity. My wife is German, so she was helpful with this review. The waiter in the Pittsburgh Steeler jersey was friendly and efficient. Nice guy. I had the Berliner IPA and it was smooth! I love being a day drinker! We started with fried pickles. Perfect. The ranch sauce seemed homemade because it had a little lemony to it. We shared a schnitzel with gravy. Big portion. Perfect size for me and my wife to share. Prices are fair. The atmosphere is warm and clean. Stop by!

Great place to get some delicious German beer and food. They have a good selection of German beers on tap, wine and mocktails. The dining area is spacious with booths and long tables. We ordered a bunch of food items to go along with our beer. The food: *Brätzel $13- huge soft pretzel baked and glazed with butter. It usually comes with salt sprinkled on but we had requested no salt. It came with beer cheese soup to dip. Thumbs up! *Landjäger/käse plate $18- cubes of 4 different types cheeses, slices of landjager ( cured pieces of sausage), pieces of sourdough bread, small dollop of sauerkraut, small pickles, mustard. We really liked this plate-perfect accompaniment to the drinks. *Schweinshaxe $26- braised ham hock. Super tender and tasty-good sized portion that can be shared. Came with salad too. We really enjoyed our beers and meal here. And we will definitely return! And the staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming. FYI- there's an open air parking lot across the street, on the corner. We came on a Sunday so street parking was easy.

Great experience! We had the Oktoberfest beer, the wild berry cider, the pretzel, brat, and burger. Everything was super good and I would 100% get again (well maybe the burger was pretty average). The service was excellent and the aesthetic of the restaurant is awesome. We will definitely be back!

A great German style beer hall type pub in Tacoma. Arrived on the weekend before a lunch rush crowd started to come in. Lots of seating available and plenty of tvs to watch sports. Sat at the bar area that surrounded a fire pit and was very comfortable. The food was excellent with a sampler of all types of German sausage and brats. Each had its own unique taste and varying levels of heat/spicy. Lots of different beers to choose from as well all on tap. The staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Would definitely bring friends and family back to this restaurant

Chocolate cake shots ! Delicious but didn't taste the after taste of alcohol

I'm 99% sure it didn't have croutons buried in the middle, but she freaked out that her fork hit something crunchy and hard. Was most likely bacon but whatever. (The bacon was cooked too crispy perfection visually). She lost it. He didn't argue and had her another one made with the bacon on the side. Kuddos to him. While I fully sympathize with her concerns with gluten, she didn't fish out an actual crouton to show. The 3 cheese burger is absolutely a must! I'm a big fan of breweries, especially those with several drinks on draught or tap, and if they're really good, I'll buy them in a bottle. However, I read their review and noticed that they had vegan and vegetarian options, so I thought, "You know what? That's a combination I can't resist. Beers with a delicious sandwich!" A few days later, I made plans to visit on Saturday, which happened to be one of the two days this year that it snowed in the Pirec. It was quite amusing with the parking and the snow that stuck everywhere. As soon as I walked in, the bar was buzzing with energy. It had a great vibe. I didn't think I'd get any seats, but I managed to snag one at the bar with a very friendly person. I spent all but about 3 to 4 hours there. The sandwich I ordered was called the Rainier, and it was mentioned in the review, but the name wasn't revealed. It consists of a field roast loaf, Chao vegan cheese, herbed vegan mayonnaise, tomato, red onion, and arugula on sourdough bread. I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise, even if it's vegan, so I swapped it out with some pesto-style creamy cheese, and it turned out even better than I expected. The sandwich was a perfect five out of five. I would definitely order it every time I come. It came with a side of chips, which was a great addition. The sandwich was massive, so I could only eat half of it. I took the other half home for the next day. For my beers, I'm a big stout-and-porter guy, so I went with the Fort George's. They had two options: the Salted Caramel Cavatica & Matryoshka Vanilla. Both were exceptionally flavorful and probably my favorite porters I've had in all of Washington and many other states. Unfortunately, they ran out of the Salted Caramel Cavatica, so I ended up drinking the Matryoshka Vanilla for the rest of the night and didn't mind at all. Overall, I had a fantastic time at this place. I'm definitely going to make it a regular stop in my monthly rotations around Tacoma. Highly recommend stopping by this place. It's definitely a five. Service is amazing, and the drinks are worth the trip. They have an array of options, which is what I love about this place. Until next time!

**Fill's Growlers: A Beer Paradise With a Side of Delicious Irony**…read more Imagine stepping into a bar so legendary that angels weep with joy at the mere mention of its name. That's **Fill's Growlers**, a haven of hops, a sanctuary of suds, and quite possibly the greatest place to ever grace Enumclaw with its presence. First, let's talk **beer selection**--because this place isn't just a bar, it's a beer wonderland. They have everything from crisp, floral IPAs that taste like liquid gold to stouts so rich and velvety they could double as dessert. Want something experimental? They've got sours that tingle the taste buds and barrel-aged beauties that are smoother than a jazz sax solo. If variety is the spice of life, Fill's Growlers is practically a Michelin-starred spice rack. And the **service**? Magnificent. Nay, transcendent. The bartenders at Fill's are like beer-slinging philosophers, ready to recommend the perfect pint with the wisdom of sages. They are warm, welcoming, and can recall your last order with a precision that borders on supernatural. You'll leave feeling like you just reunited with a long-lost friend--except this friend hands you incredible beer instead of awkward childhood nostalgia. But, oh--the irony. **The deepest, most delicious irony.** For a place called *Fill's Growlers*, one would assume an endless loop of Phil Collins ballads serenading patrons, maybe even a bartender letting out a primal, satisfying growl as he slides your pint across the bar. But no. **No Phil. No growling.** The owner has made it **very clear** that while their growlers will indeed be filled, they will never, under any circumstances, fill your ears with the smooth crooning of "In the Air Tonight." Nor will the bartender indulge your request for a friendly snarl. This is a principled establishment, standing firm against the tyranny of *predictability*. So raise your glass, embrace the irony, and bask in the glory that is **Fill's Growlers**--where the beer flows like poetry, the service rivals royalty, and Phil Collins remains forever uninvited. **Five stars. Ten stars. Infinite stars.** Now, do you think they'd make an exception for *Genesis*? Or is that pushing it?
