There is not a lot of seating, which is not a problem. It kind of gives off a more intimate vibe this way. I'm not a coffee drinker like my wife, but the refreshers make up for it. The dessert options are great, with cheesecakes, and regular cake options. The croffles range from dessert style to savory options. I don't have a favorite yet, as there a more to try. I go to quite a few Vietnamese cafes in Seattle, so I have my standards. Unfortunately, their coffee did not meet my standards at all. The coffee tasted like it was made straight from one of those Vietnamese instant coffee packets. I do drink that here and there at home, but it's not the kind of taste I want from a cafe. The egg cream was pleasant though and helped make it taste better. I probably wouldn't come back for the coffee, but I'm still interested to see what the other drinks were like.

I tasted potato dog but won't do that again. It's a fun dessert and I'm glad I had it. I would go again, but I'd get the ube soft serve with nutella filled taiyaki, and my guy would do the same. I will skip the food, but my husband's taste is sometimes inexplicable to me.

They have a large selection of pastries and some food but know that if you come in the afternoon there probably won't be much left, they go pretty quick. Amazing shop, it's a different aesthetic than what most shops are but it feeds that "homey" craving that I have when I want to study at a coffee shop.

I ordered three drinks: the taro Oreo slush, coconut matcha latte, and Thai tea (with boba in the last two), and they were all SOOO good. The drinks were super creamy and flavorful, and the boba was made really well. Like soft and chewy, not hard at all. I also got two macarons (a créme brulée and a matcha), and omgoth, they're not the tiny ones you usually see. They're pretty big and thick, which explains the approximate $4.50 price, but they were totally worth it. Definitely suggest trying at least one. Prices overall felt pretty average for boba, not cheap but not crazy either. Oh yeah, I think the drinks only come in one size (I don't recall there being a Small or Large option). There's a lot of parking since it's in an Asian plaza, but it does get really busy because Sol Boba is right next to H Mart, so there was practically no parking in front of the shop and I feel like the spaces are kinda tight. I was disappointed. Let me explain why: I own a coffee business myself, and appreciate and want to support anyone who runs one as well. It can be a tough business. However I have many friends who had said I had to try out the 6th ave location. I happened to drive by this one and decided to stop. The barista was nice, but very slow and had to be reminded of my order twice. The coffee was mediocre. It just didn't impress me. Maybe I stopped by on an off day, but I don't see yet what the hype is about. But at least the barista was friendly. read more
