This is a Pacific Northwest chain and I had never tried them before. They have been around for 30 years. Nice corner location with drive thru. Inside is a nice size and they have seating to gather and visit. They have some unique signature coffee drinks but I went with a standard latte. I liked that they had 2% milk (so many places only have whole or non fat milk). Barista was super friendly/outgoing. You could tell she enjoyed her job. The coffee was probably 3 stars. It wasn't hot enough for me and Starbucks espresso is better. But with the great service I gave them 4 stars. read more

I've been here a few times over the years and the coffee and food are consistent. Consistently fine, but consistent.

the drinks are bomb but the manager was rude, judgy and giving dirty looks. surprised she's the manager. haven't gone back since bc of her.

Really friendly employees, you could tell they cared about their job & customers. I asked them to flush the porta filter and rinse everything really good. They were happy to oblige. My Americana was delicious. read more

Coffee & food items are decent. The lids for their paper cups fit like absolute trash though. I go here every now & then for my wife and it always results in a mess of hot coffee all over my cup holder, center console and my lap. read more

I visited last week. If I could leave zero stars I definitely would. Pastries are dried out and ordered in so I'm assuming they are frozen prior to being put out on the display. Brewed Coffee is not strong enough and tastes like coffee at an AA meeting. The barista was friendly but I wouldn't waste my money there again. They gave me the wrong drink and I didn't realize it until I got home. I drove all the way back n just asked for a black iced coffee, with out even trying to wait n listen to me she just took my cup and came back with another iced drink . I literally just wanted a black iced coffee. I just gave the coffee to a friend and gave up . Never coming here again. Waisted my time and my money. read more

I like the coffee quality but they had my coffee sitting on the counter while I was in the drive through with a crying kid and kept talking the other baristas and then after 5-10 minutes grabbed my like warm drink and gave it to me. I come here bc it's close to home but I will never go again if I'm in a rush or with my kid. read more

The mary maiden's, merchants of drip, and other fine concoctions at this Cutters Point are unreservedly the nicest coffee connoisseurs in Tacoma. They know your drink before you ever pull up to the window. Excellent customer service, pours out of every pore they have, but not only that, they make you feel valued as a customer. They remember what you talked about the last time you pulled up they ask about how your kids or your dog is doing. So they not only make excellent coffee, they make you feel good about your day that you're seen and cared about. Barista was friendly and nice. Loved that Ordered a Hot Coconut Caramel Frappe. Drink was okay, had a hint of caramel. Not really any coconut taste. Decor was nice - welcoming and cozy. I was expecting a better drink, but would come back to give it another try. read more

If you want to feel like an inconvenience to the baristas, come here. The girls working there seem really catty too. I'm really disappointed honestly, especially wanting to support a smaller business, during covid, but I won't be back. They really need to reassess their customer service and business practices. There's no drink consistency between the employees from the few times I've stopped by. My sons really enjoys their donuts though, hence the one star. read more

I'm not going to lie, Starbucks is my go-to because I know what I like there. So when Starbucks was closed, I remembered the boyfriend once brought me home a blended coffee from Cutters Point that was really good and reminded me of the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf from California (something we, as Washingtonians, surprisingly don't have up here!). There was a bit of a wait in the drive through, but as soon as I pulled up, the barista (she had the friendliest smile! I wish I would have gotten her name!) said "thank you for waiting!" and was more than happy to answer my questions since I didn't know exactly what he had previously ordered-we settled on a vanilla bean blended coffee with caramel sauce as well as ground espresso beans (hard to find!). It was priced fairly at $5.50, and before I left the barista asked me to try it to make sure it was good (it was GREAT!). And I *think* they prepare their own whip cream, which is SO much better than the store brand, but I could be wrong. I will come back because even if my drink ended up being just okay, the customer service was really good. Way to go, Cutters Point! read more

I've been going to this place for years now. It is conveniently located right up the street on 27th and Bridgeport. I've gotten to know most of them pretty well from being a return customer. They are all very nice And extremely polite. If you tell them how you want it they will make it that way! read more

Service is nice, a bit cold at times. I've really only ever gone through the drive-thru, but they're prompt and make a good (but expensive) assortment of drinks. Still, it's substantially better than Starbucks. read more

I'm surprised someone wrote a review saying the girls here seem catty. I have felt the girls at CP on 6th Ave are superficial and somewhat catty and stopped going there years ago. But I've never once had a bad experience here and I've been going regularly for almost two years. The girls are sweet, and they make great coffee. And the oat milk is tasty. read more

My favorite coffee place that I've ever been to. Seriously great coffee, the baristas are all super nice. They remember the customers which shows they enjoy what they do! It made me laugh when my wife came home and told me that one of the girls gasped when she changed up her order for the first time in months, lol. The only thing is sometimes I find that the drinks can be inconsistent. With some baristas, a certain latte is sweeter than others. Or have more pumps of a flavor than another. It's a great place for me to study and stay out of the cold. Always a good experience at cutters! read more

Been going here for work meetings in the morning. Typically it has been good, but this last time we will not be returning. Took about 30 minutes to get my drink inside, I waited for 15 minutes to get my drink. The gals laughed and said "we forgot to make yours" multiple people came in later after me and got their drinks quickly, she said there's a mocha up and so I grabbed it thinking it was mine? Took a few drinks and it was not mine and they were upset and said I grabbed the wrong drink. I apologized, they said they will make my drink now. After 20 minutes of me ordering it... few more people came in and ordered and received their drinks prior to mine... I asked again if they are going to make my drink? They said oh you want your drink after you took the wrong one?! I said yes, of course I do. They then mocked me to each other about me asking for my drink. Since I waited for 30 minutes to get my mocha I did drink some of the one I mistakenly took. Once I received my mocha 30 minutes plus later, they said I have to give the other one back to get mine, which I was perfectly fine doing, but the attitude I got was not pleasant, even the client I met with at the coffee shop was discouraged from returning. Would not recommend this location for coffee. read more

It's good that this place has window service. Pull up and order. I tried there scarecrow coffee which I enjoyed a lot, but one of my passengers got the chai latte and was very disappointed. Didn't even finish it. Pretty pricey this place. read more

They said it close at 7pm but i arrived today at 6:43pm to get me a coffee coz i was really craving for their coffee drove 18minutes just for the person to tell me they're close ! Like really?! 7pm and closing at 6:43pm? So disappointing! They need to let people now or post it on there door that they close earlier than 7! Wasted my time and long drive! read more

The coffee is just not good. Any extras they add are a miss. First visit I orderd a mocha, weak and syrupy. I also got a kid's hot chocolate - they asked if I wanted it "the normal way." Yes, the normal way...so they put whipped cream on TOP of the cup. It was such a mess!! I was melty, sliding off the top, plus my child was actually trying to drink the drink... Oh my gosh. How is that a normal way to give a hot beverage to a child? And we were in the car, so it was too messy before I even knew about it. Then I had to pull over...not convenient. After all that, I still went back for a second visit. I got a simple cup of coffee (which is actually my favorite) It was so weak. I won't be back. read more
