    Eggs Florentine Benedict, absolutely delicious!

Food took almost an hour so be prepared if you go on a weekend, you are not going to eat quickly. That is the reason I gave 3 stars, otherwise the food was very good...once we got it.

Monte Cristo. Pretty good, wish the jam was homemade/higher quality. Bit too sweet/not enough tang for me to cut through all the richness.

Staff is all very nice in our experience. The food is pretty decent for what it is, but a few tweaks here and there could make it a lot better in my opinion. Also seems like they don't have an actual manager on staff on sundays which is odd considering it's one of the busiest days of the week for breakfast service. I think it could improve service overall if they had someone actually dedicated to running the waitlist and helping to fill in the gaps. It's a bit discombobulated, but again they all seem friendly and kind even when they're swamped.

We came in around 2pm and it was pretty much quiet which was good. We were greeted by Robin who was AMAZING!! Great portion and great service! Definitely coming back. Food was great also!

Great service and good food!! Stepping into the Pine Cone feels like you're stepping backing into the 50's. Old school dive diner feel. The food doesn't disappoint and the restaurant stayed busy, which is always a good sign! We had the chilaquile scramble, apple cinnamon French toast, croque Madame and no fall breakfast is complete without pumpkin pancakes!! It was all delicious but when I go back I will have the chilaquile scramble for sure and the seasonal pancakes they have on the menu. Those two items were amazing!!!

Food was exceptionally good! Service warm and inviting. Decor made it feel like it was part of the neighborhood. Definitely a place you can come eat and have good conversation with your family or friends.

I'm looking for a non alcoholic LGBT meet up place. Just to talk and get to know new people not in a bar location. Would this work?

There is a conference room in the back if you are thinking of having a regular "meeting" type space. But it is an old fashioned 70's era diner, not really set up for meet and greet or mingling. There is a coffee counter but can't control really who… Read more

The bottle shop section has a great selection; I ended up impulse buying several cans and had to sit on my hands to stop myself from getting even more! That said, there are a few things that could be changed to make this a much more comfortable place to hang out: 1. Replace the bar stools. Every stool seat tilts forward at what feels like 45 degrees and when I take my feet off the bar foot rest I always feel like I'm going to fall forward. 2. Bring back the regular 4-top tables in the front area. The low height living room furniture there currently is uncomfortable and impractical for a small indoor beer bar. 3. Center the TV over the bar instead of having it tucked into the corner of the back of the room. I hope 3 stars isn't too harsh, but these issues are what keep my wife and I from going here more often

I'm a big fan of breweries, especially those with several drinks on draught or tap, and if they're really good, I'll buy them in a bottle. However, I read their review and noticed that they had vegan and vegetarian options, so I thought, "You know what? That's a combination I can't resist. Beers with a delicious sandwich!" A few days later, I made plans to visit on Saturday, which happened to be one of the two days this year that it snowed in the Pirec. It was quite amusing with the parking and the snow that stuck everywhere. As soon as I walked in, the bar was buzzing with energy. It had a great vibe. I didn't think I'd get any seats, but I managed to snag one at the bar with a very friendly person. I spent all but about 3 to 4 hours there. The sandwich I ordered was called the Rainier, and it was mentioned in the review, but the name wasn't revealed. It consists of a field roast loaf, Chao vegan cheese, herbed vegan mayonnaise, tomato, red onion, and arugula on sourdough bread. I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise, even if it's vegan, so I swapped it out with some pesto-style creamy cheese, and it turned out even better than I expected. The sandwich was a perfect five out of five. I would definitely order it every time I come. It came with a side of chips, which was a great addition. The sandwich was massive, so I could only eat half of it. I took the other half home for the next day. For my beers, I'm a big stout-and-porter guy, so I went with the Fort George's. They had two options: the Salted Caramel Cavatica & Matryoshka Vanilla. Both were exceptionally flavorful and probably my favorite porters I've had in all of Washington and many other states. Unfortunately, they ran out of the Salted Caramel Cavatica, so I ended up drinking the Matryoshka Vanilla for the rest of the night and didn't mind at all. Overall, I had a fantastic time at this place. I'm definitely going to make it a regular stop in my monthly rotations around Tacoma. Highly recommend stopping by this place. It's definitely a five. Service is amazing, and the drinks are worth the trip. They have an array of options, which is what I love about this place. Until next time!

We thought about sitting outside but decided against it. The host took us to a table in the center of the room because all the windows along the windows were taken, still good views. Restaurant was busy - lots of people enjoying the weather, quite a few tables with kids. Ordered an Arnold Palmer ($6.50 - note the labor meant it was more than both the lemonade $5 and iced tea $4) and husband got Diet Coke. Also tried the fried pickles $10 and a salmon salad $34, husband ordered the big plate pan fried oysters $32 and inquired about if it came with sides. The server said it came with coleslaw and fries but could be replaced for just coleslaw or just fries or additional charge salad or chowder. He opted for coleslaw. Fried pickles were good, we were both a little disappointed they were sweet pickles but we liked the aioli. I was disappointed that my salad came with farro but the farro was like, a garnish? Crunchy small bits of farro. I make a farro salad regularly and it's so easy to have nice farro (cooked 30 mins then saved in fridge to add to salads). The salmon was cooked well. My husband was disappointed in his fried oysters. It was a big platter but mostly empty with a small pile of fried oysters and then a cup of red cabbage with some light dressing. Very disappointing plate. We had revolving sushi with our kid the day before for the same cost, and it was a better experience than our date night. Husband grabbed fast food directly after and I just wanted something more special when we left, but didn't figure something out before heading home. Service was adequate, drinks ran out but they did eventually refill. Wished I came by the end of March for the happy hour deals because this wasn't anything special. Definitely more of that overpriced family restaurant with views vibe. Don't go for food - stick to chowder and fish n chips. 3 stars because I probably will go back for views and I can take my kids there, if needed.

She made sure our table had plenty of water and always made sure our sips never went dry. My issue was the food. So to keep me safe I always order a side salad, but I needed a little protein so I also ordered some grilled chicken on the side with ranch dressing. Most of the way through my salad the started to turn in my stomach. Once the spicy chicken came out, I requested to send it back, due to the menu not specifying that the spicy chicken is only grilled chicken with Sriracha sauce poured it all over it. The menu specifies grilled with spices. Not true unfortunately. I decided to eat the grilled chicken that was plain and again my stomach started to turn. I honestly couldn't figure out if it was the chicken, the salad or the ranch dressing that was not sitting right in my stomach and boy! Let me tell you later on that evening. I ended up in the middle of the night not in the best situation. I unfortunately had food poisoning of some sort.
